Hello hello hello....... have a rose ⚘⚘

Here's the second art dump! These will be more recent, from my senior year (2018-2019) of high school. I'll explain a bit as these pieces were actually a part of my AP Art portfolio

This one was a mix of two assignments, using words and an elder study.  I was a bit behind in class xD But Gerascophobia is the fear of growing old, the crossword style are a mix of words describing youth and age. The two women are "sewn" together.

Another assignment, one done on time for once. This one was to do a sort of skeleton somehow. I chose to paint a raven/crow and then go over it with a white pencil for its skeletal portion.

These two are the same creature, the second was an assignment to redo a previous piece but in a different style. I actually used wax to build up layers, a very lengthy process.

This was also an assignment that we had to do a remake of, we had to use mixed media.

This was my first idea for concentration pieces, it was a sort of "study" on mythical/fantasy creatures. I did love the idea but the unicorn piece took too long and I've always been a procrastinator. I do plan on finishing the hippocampus and wendigo, perhaps even more, at some point.

This piece was my second idea. It was still the "study" of a creature, but the creatures where ones that I created. It was a fun process, creating a new being and explaining how they lived. But it still took too long.

And then I settled on this. No "study" but creatures that I created. This one is the same thing as the previous, it's a bat, cat, snake. Weird, I know.

A few pieces I wasn't sure how to mix animals or just needed to draw the animals separately first to see how to put then together. This one is a alligator and poodle.

A buck and horse, I have a similar piece in the first Art Dump I've posted but that had a snake mixed in as well.
