Hello, my friends!

It's been quite a long time, hasn't it?

HAPPY OCTOBER :)

And, since it is in fact October, it is also Jilytober (my personal favorite) and Inktober!

For those of you that don't know, Inktober is this thing where there is a prompt for every day of October, and you have to draw something in pen and ink for each one. Here's the website for anyone who wants to learn more: https://inktober.com

I'll tell you which drawing is for which prompt :)

BEHOLD.....a crooked-looking snowflake :) Lol but actually: the prompt was "crystal" and I tried to make it look 3-Dish, which resulted in the odd crookedness? Idek XDDD

(one of my favorites so far) This was for the prompt "Suit"!! It was lots of fun to draw and I felt very rebellious because I drew this person with black nail polish although I'm not brave enough to wear black nail polish myself. So apparently drawing nail polish is about as rebellious as I get XDDDD

I'm particularly proud of this idea lollll, the prompt was "Vessel" :) In case you can't tell because my drawing ended up a bit more like a shapeless blob than I would have liked, this is a drawing of a woman carrying a clay pot to collect water. Tadaaaa

Ahahahahaha this was for the prompt "Knot" XDDDD Strangely enough, it was really difficult to draw salt (???) even though it's just kind of a bunch of tiny prisms? But anyways. I find this particular drawing oddly hilarious for some reason XD

Okay so this idea wasn't particularly creative, seeing as the prompt was "Raven" and I very literally drew a raven XDDDD but I did quote the first line of Edgar Allen Poe's poem "The Raven" so that was a very vague slice of creativity ig lolll

This one requires a bit of an explanation for most people reading this, I believe. So first let me say that the prompt was "Spirit", and I very very very much wanted to draw Tarot cards but I failed miserably and gave up after like an hour and a half XD So instead, I drew this thing called "espírito santo" which is very important in Brazil. It's a Catholic religious thingamabob (aren't I eloquent) and pretty much every house in Brazil has a figure of one of these hanging over the doorway, sort of like a protector. I have one over the front door of my house :) and also let me note that I spent about two hours thinking about this idea and then like ten minutes on the actual drawing because I was tired and wanted to go to sleep so it's not exactly by best work lolll

Not the most creative idea (prompt: "Fan") but a pretty drawing, I think :) somewhat unrelated note: I drew this awhile listening to Tessa Violet for the very first time, so now every time I look at it, I start singing "Crush" in my head XDDDD

BAHAHAHAHHAHA I WAS ACTUALLY CREATIVE WITH THIS ONE!! The prompt was "Watch" and the above drawing is of the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland that freaks out because he's late XDDDD

(another notoriously Brazilian one XD) The prompt was "Pressure" and so I drew a pressure cooker lollll

Ohhhh this one was fun! The prompt was "Pick" :) So here's a claw grabby toy machine thing that I, as I just very obviously exhibited, have no idea the name of XDDD

This prompt was "Sour" :) note that I actually spent about 30 to 45 minutes just sitting there with my pens and paper despairing over the fact that I don't know how to draw an album XDDDD

Wooooo I was vaguely creative with this one, and although my tree isn't terribly realistic, I'm overall okay with it :) Prompt: "Stuck"

Lolll I have a pencil drawing of a whole landscape that includes the above thingamabob (I'll post it at some point, do remind me because I WILL forget XD) and so I just redrew this, well, whatever this is, in pen for the prompt "Roof" XD 

Now THIS was time-consuming XDDDD The prompt was "Tick" and I spent maybe an hour and a half yesterday (closer to two hours tbh lol) shading this in and watching dodie videos, which obviously was the highlight of the entire day XD

This is dedicated to my little sis, Sarinha ( Hipponiffler ), for being wonderful and incredible and perfectly sweet at all times. She is the cutest little human ever and you should all go be her friend :)

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier, if you had any other ideas for what you would draw for these prompts, do comment them next to the drawings! I want to know how your minds work!! :)
