As I wrote in my sketchbook in the last chapter, each bird symbolises how I felt at each stage when I was trying to pick myself up and deal with hardships in life; the falling bird represents how I felt like giving up and the ruffled tail feathers kinda show how beat up the bird is. The second bird is diving head first- trying to solve the problem head on. The third one starts to get the hang of it and is starting to fly whilst the last one looks confident and strong, like I got this, I can do this.
