Night 1 (Astrid's house)
Pretend the purple Deadly Nadder is Stormfly, I couldn't get a good picture.
-Arsyn-
I'm sitting in my old room in the house that I never thought I'd sleep in. Wasn't my idea, of course.
"Well now all we have to worry about is where you guys are gonna sleep," Hiccup said after the stopped laughing. "We can sleep in our ship, " Abby quickly responded.
"What!??! No way am I staying there again! I didn't manage to sleep for the entire hour!" Drake exclaimed. Abby and Nate did a slashing gesture to their throats while Jena, Xian, and I gave him a 'you're not helping' look.
"Of course you're not staying there," Hiccup said, probably trying to get us to cool down. "You guys can each stay in one of our houses."
"Since Abby and Nate are siblings, they can stay at Ruff and Tuff's, Xian can stay with me, Arsyn can stay with Astrid since you guys are sisters, and you two can decide where you want to stay."
"You can stay with me, little lady," Snoutlout cooes, kissing his muscles. Jena gave him a grossed out stare. "Uh, no thanks, Drake'll stay with you."
"Me!??! That guy flirts with you, you take him!"
"Nuh uh! I said I'll stay with Fishlegs first!"
"You're the girl here, you can handle it!"
"You're the one who got us into this mess, so you go stay with the lunatic!"
"That doesn't count!"
"Does not!"
"Does to!"
"Does not!"
"Does to!"
"Does not!"
"Does to!"
"My gods you guys sound like Ruff and Tuff," Fishlegs groans, putting his hands over his ears.
"Ya, maybe you guys can stay with us instead," Tuff chuckled, Ruff smirking with him.
They looked up, surprised. "Actually, that's not a bad idea. Abby, Nate, you guys decide who you want to stay with."
"Fishlegs," Abby said quickly.
And here I am, now regretting not arguing like they did. It was dawn, and everyone was probably in deep slumber right now. I should've been too, but in case you didn't know, I have insomnia.
Instead, I just took out one of my knife art boards, one I was currently working on and wasn't finished. On one side was a drawing of me, but I only did half of myself. I was slightly smiling, my black leather hood was pulled over my head, and my blue mark on my cheek. Yes, you read it right, it was a mark , not a tattoo. Anyways, on the blank half of the board, I started to draw Astrid on the other side. Her sweet smile earlier was plastered on her face, her similarly braided hair on her shoulder. Then I drew a crescent moon on my side, and a small sun on Astrid's. I wrote on the remaining space at the bottom:
We are family, and nothing can change that....
Then how did this happen, I thought to myself. That's when I started shaking. Another anxiety, just like last night. I quietly tiptoed out the front door, just in case Astrid wasn't a deep sleeper as she was before. I suddenly found myself walking around Berk, the shaking instead getting worse.Tears start to fall out of my eyes, but I forced myself not to sob.
I was already strolling around the forest when I heard voices in my head. They were quiet at first, but every step I took, I felt them getting louder. That definitely didn't cease my tears, 'cause they just kept pouring down my face heavily. Finally, I heard the voices clearly:
"You're not the daughter I wanted," my mother's voice said in a disappointing tone.
"You could've been a warrior like the rest of us," my father's voice boomed.
"You'll never be as good as me, I always was the better sister!" Astrid's voice yelled.
That did it. I covered my ears and leaned on a tree, my vision totally blurred by water. Not caring, I curled up in a ball on the ground, sobbing so much that my whole body started aching.

Fanghook and I were wandering around in the forest, going on our usual morning flight. When we landed at the cove, I heard another voice nearby. Following the sound, I came up to a girl about my age sprawled on the floor, sobbing, her head in her hands.
At first, I thought it was Heather or Astrid. That's when I realized she was a little shorter than them, but she carried some of their features (only instead of Heather's grass green eyes or Astrid's sky blue ones, her eyes were a dark bloody red).
That's when I remembered seeing her in the Great Hall when I was spying on the dragon riders. This was Astrid's little sister, Arsyn. I crept over to her, hearing her whisper something over her cries, "stop it, please!"
At first I thought she was talking to me, but then I realized she was talking to herself. I sat down beside her, enveloping her into a hug. I was expecting her to punch me or something like her sister, but instead she cried onto my shoulder, tears streaming down her cheeks. I managed to see a blue mark on her cheek, almost mistakening it for dried tears.
I carried her to Fanghook, put her on his back, and rode all the way to Astrid's house.
