Moving in the rhythm of the beat, he watched her dance so graceful and delicate, so mesmerizing, so mesmerizing in fact that Daryun forgot everything around him staring at her from across the room.

Watching her move on the stage like an angel, he wished he could call his.
To be quite honest they have been toeing the line, everybody seeing how close they were, like two birds on a wire but, not one of them taking the final step and asking to be eachothers.

Narsus noticed how Daryun was staring, smiling lightly before taking a sip of the fine wine you had brought to the banquet. They were all sitting around a table in your fine estate as you danced on a stage with your maids that you lovingly called your friends.

Daryun smiled widely as he saw you strike your last pose, the dress, you were wearing, glittering and swirling in the air as the light of the candles adorning the room hit your form, while the sun set outside signalizing the day coming to an end.

"Daryun" said a gentle but firm voice to his left, snapping out of his daze he looked over to Alfreed that was peering around Narsus at him. "You should really tell her how you feel, you know. Before it's to late to."

"I agree with Alfreed, Lady Y/N and you are ment for each other, and the way you look at her tells me that she's the only one you want, so go and get her, before I'll tell Jaswant to-"

"You wouldn't, I know you wouldn't and I also know Y/N would reject him..."

"I have to be honest the only reason I didn't ask her yet was because I wanted to wait for the right time, I am not sure if this is the right time." Daryun mused as he thought about actually asking you but Narsus decided to take that decision from him. "There will never be the perfect time, not when theres war going on around us, but I think for the both of you, this would be the best timing possible." advised Narsus patting Daryuns shoulder before giving it a reassuring squeeze. Daryun pondered for a second more before he decided for it. Heaving a sigh to calm his nerves which were starting to grow he turned to face his friend "So can you do me a favor?" Narsus who smirked slightly already having something in mind which his dear friend could want, complied "Alright what is it that you need me to do?"

It is late now the sun gone far beyond the horizon, waiting for its return the next day. But you weren't asleep yet sitting by the pond you stared up at the stars and the beautiful trees.

"Y/N." A soft but all to familiar voice called from behind you.

"Daryun, can you not seem to find rest? Would you like me to get you something that could help you get sleepy?" You spoke caringly as you stepped towards him taking his hand into yours carefully as a way to make him more comfortable in this situation. This actually did help with his nerves because despite wanting this he was nervous, after all it is you he's talking to, the most breath-taking thing he's ever seen.

"No it is alright, I came here for something else, I-..." He stopped mid sentence looking away as his cheeks darkened with a blush "I wanted to say something to you, something very important to me" He paused breathing in and out before continuing. "Whenever I am around you it is weighing in my heart and I want to know if you feel the same when you are around me."

"It is this comforting feeling this warm feeling of love."

"Y/N, I love you so please will you be mine." He asked holding your hands firmly. You didn't answer, to stunned to speak as the moment you've so been waiting for, finally came true. So instead of replying you closed the distance between you two and gently pressed your lips to his, you and him imidiatly melt into the kiss relaxing into each other, wrapping your arms around his neck as his found their place at your wait to gently hold you in place. Daryun gently starts charrashing your side as his other hand comes up to your cheek pulling you in to deepen the kiss. Giggling gently you start to entangle your fingers with the hair at the end of his nape.

Before having to part for air, breathing a little uncontrolled but finding the hold you need on each other to catch your breath. As you look up into his honey-gold eyes, you decide to voice what you just expressed with your kiss.

"Daryun, I love you too and that dearly so that means yes, I will be yours, but will you be mine as well?"

You said while cherishing his face.

"Yes, I will be yours forever, onky yours there will be no other, because nobody compares to you."

He spoke with the most heart-felt tone you've ever heard so heart-felt in fact that you could here the honesty and loyalty pouring out from his heart, the willingness to be everything you want and need. So as to seal your promises you lean forward once more to connect your lips for the second time this night, but this time moving more passionately, more wantingly.

Suddenly you hear a loud sound, a bit startelt you disconnect the lip lock and look up to see fireworks exploding in the sky making it light up in different colors such as red, purple and blue. Amazed by the sky's beauty you subconsciously move to lean against Daryun to watch, who gladly let's you press yourself into him as he to wants this physical contact to happen.

"I asked Narsus to set them off. They are wonderful aren't they?" He spoke softly as he pecked your cheek. "Yes they truly are a sight to see." You answered looking up at him as the both of you smiled at each other, you turned back around again continuing to watch the fireworks as Narsus and Elam watched from a balcony "they look quite lovely together do they not?" Narsus chirped happy the plan had worked.

"Yes indeed they do." Elam answered handing his master a cup of tea before going back inside. "Well then Daryun, Y/N goodnight, I hope you too have a lovely night together." Narsus mumbled quietly as he also moved back inside the Estate.

The next morning arrived and you awoke cuddled up to Daryun, who held you tightly in his strong arms as you comfortably rested your head on his chest peering out of the window into the morning sky and the beautiful scenery.

Gently you lifted your head to look into his eyes, before pressing a loving kiss to his lips. Which he returned before smiling.

"We should get up, breakfast is waiting." He spoke in his grough morning voice. "Yes let us get ready." You chimed in agreement as both of you got dressed before walking of together getting yourselves something to eat.

At breakfast you sat to the left of Daryun, who then had your brother Gieve sitting to his right. "You know Daryun, while I am happy for you and my sister, I must ask you to take good care of her." Gieve sang while doing his signature pose.

"That I will." Daryun spoke sternly as he gently raped his arm around your waist and guided you to come closer.
"He will, unlike you who left me for 14 years." You poked at Gieve who then rubbed his nape in embarrassment prior to quickly turning back to his food.

Daryun chuckled and then continued to eat his meal. Somewhat guiding you to do the same as you happily ate together.
