Part 21:

"ASR, wonderful! You are doing great. After seeing the test reports, I can say it's time for you to go through physiotherapy and speech therapy. Once you attend them, then you will be normal soon. I should thank your family and friends for the support and care they are giving. First, I wasn't ready to send you. But seeing you now, I can say that decision was best. Just a few more days, ASR!" said doctor Dr. Praveen, after checking the reports.

It's been a week since Khushi found Arnav. Dr. Praveen was informed about Arnav's improvement by Dr. Dev and, not able to stop himself and want to see by himself, Dr. Praveen came to their house to check Arnav. He brought a few equipments to take tests for Arnav and he is well satisfied with Arnav's improvement. So he immediately gave his acceptance for the next stage of treatment.

Khushi, Akash, NK, Aman, and Bua Ji felt immense happiness hearing the doctor's words.

"Dr. Dev, can you arrange both the therapists? If they live nearby then it will be better for them as they need to meet Mr ASR daily."

"Sure, Dr. Praveen, I can do that," said Dr. Dev with a smile.

"And I think you also can go back to your job as we don't have anything to do here."

"For sure, I will be leaving from here, maybe by evening, after guiding Mrs. ASR and others about the medicines for ASR. They also need to know about dos and don'ts regarding ASR. I will leave after guiding them," said Dev.

"Great! Now, I will take your leave. And Mrs. ASR, please feel free to call us whenever you need any help. You don't need to hesitate. Take care of him, Madam. People like him should live long. Take care, ASR," with that Dr Praveen left from there, discussing with Dev.

Khushi sat beside Arnav holding his hand with happiness in her eyes. Others state nothing different. Everyone felt elated hearing the Doctors' words. They wanted to celebrate this news. But once looking at Arnav's face, they sighed dramatically and left the room, leaving Khushi with Arnav.

"Just a few more days, ASR and Khushi. Then you both can do much more than holding hands and kissing on the cheeks. You can do much more, just wait. Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai," said Aman with a teasing glint in his eyes. He left from there laughing loudly after seeing the blushing faces of both Arnav and Khushi. Akash followed him, blushing himself. Both NK and Buaji shook their heads negatively and left from there after closing the door, with content smiles on their faces.

Arnav held Khushi's hand and pulled her towards him which made Khushi's breath hitch. Khushi bit her lower lip to control her breath and blush.

"On't, at's mai ork o u," said Arnav with intent eyes. (Don't, that's my work to do)

Unable to control her blush Khushi kept her forehead on Arnav's shoulder holding his biceps. She smiled with her heart content. She is so happy today. She can't wait to see her Lad Governor to come to his normal dominating self, scaring each and every creature he faces. Her hold on his biceps tightened with the possibility.

Understanding her feelings, Arnav turned his face towards her and kissed her hair.

Khushi looked at him and kissed his forehead, "I can't wait more," said Khushi, gulping her emotions.

"I know," said Arnav with a smile on his face. He can't thank the Gods out there for sending this girl in his life. The love and concern she has for him always makes him feel special and lucky. He still remembers the day, when he came to know what she was about to do to safeguard him and his family. Even though he strictly objected to her decision, when did Khushi listen to him? He chuckled a bit remembering that day.

Flashback, when Mr. Roy was asked to meet Khushi.

"Later, when I was returning to our room, I heard Shyam talking on his phone. And what I heard left me terrified. He is planning big"

"So?" asked Aman, getting worried looking at Khushi.

"So? Is that what you can ask, Aman Bhai? He was planning to harm each one of you! And I can't allow him to. Before he takes any step, I need to safeguard all of you, I mean all of us. I need to take this step, it's must to catch him red handed. I can't wait for more days," said Khushi pacing in the room.

"And what is your plan for that?" asked Akash, very well knowing about her nature.

"And what is Mr. Roy's involvement in your plan? What will he do?" asked NK.

"I can't say anything now, let him prepare the papers first, then I will explain to all of you." said Khushi.

"o ay," said Arnav (no way) and his words were completed by Akash, "without knowing your plan, we can't let you step ahead," Akash can be as stubborn as Arnav when he wants. Aman, NK agreed with them. Looking at the sturron men before her, Khushi sighed deeply before explaining her plan.

"It's as simple as Arnav Ji getting angry. I asked Mr. Roy to prepare a fake Will of Arnav Ji which announces me as the owner of his properties. As we all know that Shyam Ji is behind arnav Ji's property, he will leave each one of you. And don't worry, his original Will was already registered," said Khushi.

"And you really think that Shyam will believe that fake Will? He is a criminal lawyer, Khushi. He will think with a criminal mind. He will know about the fake Will in a snap of finger time. What do you think about him? He is a saint to believe whatever we say?" asked Aman, thinking how stupid she can be.

"No, I don't think about him as a saint. I know him well enough to plan this. I know more about him than you all can. I know till what extent he can go to get what he wants. I'm not at all underestimating him. I had seen him as a betrayer, more than you guys. He betrayed my family. He betrayed our trust. And more than you all, I know about his weakness - his overconfidence. He always thinks that everyone fears him as a criminal lawyer. He thinks that everyone will think before taking steps towards him. That is the main reason he betrayed us. He was so confident that he could stop me from going to RM. But when I didn't budge on my decision of teaching Lavanya Ji, his ego got hurt and he took me as a challenge. So, he wanted to win over me and control me. For that, he got ready to marry me, ignoring the fact of him being Raizada's son-in-law," she shouted and continued.

"But when I found out the truth about him, he couldn't take it. So, went on proving himself as a poor man who was forced by his wife. Do you know what he did to prove himself at the time of Jiji's wedding? I know! I faced him all by myself. Do you know how he tried to show Di as an arrogant woman? I know! I saw it all by myself. Do you know what he did when Arnav Ji was out? I know! I bore it all by myself," angry tears flowed from her eyes, leaving all the men in pain. "I know him more than you all can. Don't ever ask me that question, when you don't even know what he can do, to prove himself. I may forget and forgive him considering how much Di loves that man. But after what he did to Arnav Ji, I can never forget or forgive him. I can never leave any person who tries to mess with my family. I will do everything to punish that person. If needed, I will kill that person before giving my life for my loved ones," she gritted her teeth.

Everyone looked at her with terrifying eyes. They never saw her like that. The determination in her scared them.

"But how are you planning to punish him with fake Will?" asked NK.

"I am not planning to punish him with the Will, I'm just trying to divert him towards it,"

"O ut ee wud eave us un kum ehi vu? (So that he would leave us and come behind you?)" asked Arnav, fully understanding her plan.

"Yes, and he will definitely fall in this trap!" said Khushi, determined to do what she planned.

"Suid... his is suid an. I i ot aee ith is," said Arnav getting hyper. (Stupid..., this stupid plan. I will not agree with this.) Akash rushed towards him and held his hands.

"Bhai, relax. Don't take tension. We will talk with her, we will make her understand. Please, bhai, relax. We need you," Akash tried his best to cool his ever so angry brother.

"Ash... his is suid an... Suid... iss so angous... at ma is evi. He ill esoy hey(Akash, this is stupid plan. Stupid. It's so dangerous. That man is evil. He will destroy her.)"

"I know Bhai. We will make her understand you please be quiet. Don't get hyper please," said Akash, making Arnav drink water. But he stopped hearing Khushi's voice.

"My plan is final. I'm not going to step back from this. I'm not going to miss this chance to punish that man. NO, NEVER!" Khushi said, shouting at last.

"Khushi!" Aman held her shoulders to make her understand that her plan is too dangerous. But before he said anything, everyone in the room heard her words, which pricked their hearts.

"No, Bhai. Not this time. Not now. I'm not going to listen to any of you, not even Arnav Ji. Because, I need to do this. For my satisfaction. For my dignity, for my self-respect. Do you know how much torture I faced because of him? Do you know how I felt when I came to know that my so-called fiance was a married man? Do you even know how I felt when I came to know that his wife was none other than the woman, whom I feel as my own sister? Do you know how I felt when I couldn't tell all these to Arnav Ji? I felt betrayed and at the same time, I'm betraying Arnav Ji and Anjali Ji. I felt like I failed as a human. Do you know how I felt when I came to know that Shyam was lusting for me? Do you know how disgusting that thought would be? Do you know how I felt when I realized I was about to become another woman in Di's life? No one knows nor can any one understand. So, I need to do this, to soothe my burning heart, to reduce the pain and guiltiness in my heart and mind. I'm not going to step back,"

"But, Khushi...," before Akash said anything, NK surprised them.

"I'm with Khushi Ji in this. And I will help her with how much I can do," said NK, side hugging Khushi.

Khushi smiled at him and looked at others.

Aman and Akash remained silent, not understanding what to do and how to react. Khushi's eyes landed on Arnav who was looking at her with mixed emotions. Khushi sat beside Arnav and held his hands.

"Please Arnav Ji, try to understand. I want to do this. I need this closure. Please," said Khushi.

Arnav looked at her with different emotions and as always Khushi understood his unsaid words.

"I promise, Arnav Ji. You WILL NOT lose me. I will never give you the pain I went through when you are away. I know how it feels to lose our loved ones, Arnav Ji. I will not give you that pain,ever. Please believe me," Arnav held Khushi's hands in his, not able to agree with her, at the same time not able to oppose her. "I will take care of myself. And why to fear when I have best men around me to safeguard me? Aman bhai, Jiju, NK and your security team - I have everyone with me. More than anyone, I have Rudra. He is the best at what he does. You know that, right? We don't need to get worried when he is around me. He is just like my Salman Ji," said Khushi dreamingly, awakening the green monster in Arnav.

Aman, Akash and NK looked shockingly at Khushi for her guts. But seeing the mischievous glint in her eyes and glare at Arnav's eyes, they understood that she was pulling Arnav's legs and he fell in her trap. They controlled their laughter.

"Vu al mai. Et at!" said Arnav holding her hand tightly. (You are mine, get that!")

The trio laughed out loud seeing Arnav so possessive and jealous, making him sulk understanding her intentions.

Khushi smiled and kissed him on his cheeks, shocking the men, and said, "Hum toh aap ka hi hai, Arnav Ji. And I don't want any other man, not only in this life, but next 7 lives, I need you. Without you, there is no Khushi. I prefer death to living without you. Please promise that you will not leave me ever as you did that day, please," Khushi whispered at last, making everyone emotional. (I'm yours only, Arnav Ji)

"Promise her, Nannav. Whatever she is saying, is true. She can't live without you. I know how she felt in your absence. I saw it with my own eyes. She was a living dead person. Never ever leave her, Nannav, Please," said NK, with moist eyes.

"Not only her, ASR, please don't leave any of us. Without you our lives are not complete. We can't bear your absence. We need you throughout our lives," said Aman.

"Yes, Bhai! Please don't do this to us. We can't live without your anger and shouting. And Aman, do you know how difficult it is for him for not getting fired every second? Do you know how difficult it is for our employees for not hearing your 'what the'? Don't do this!" said Akash, trying to lighten the mood. And he got his desired reaction from his brother. Arnav looked at Akash with narrowed eyes for which Akash responded.

"Really bhai! We were so used to your rudeness, arrogance, beastfullness, and mad yelling. Oh! It's so difficult to live without all these!" said Akash, leaving everyone in the room gasping.

"Ash!!" Arnav gritted his teeth, looking at Akash, but smiled at him and nodded his head, understanding the love they had for him.

Later all 5 sat and discussed Khushi's plan. They decided to involve Rudra to safeguard Khushi much to Arnav's annoyance. They teased him for being a sulking child, and felt happy when Arnav took them happily.

"Are you sure? If the information you are giving me is wrong, you will be dead meat, you do know that, right?" asked Shyam on his phone.

"Of course, boss. I know. But the information I gave you about Ms Khushi is 100% correct. I confirmed myself after seeing her in that particular address. She is not going to AR daily, but going to this particular building and meeting Aman, Akash and NK. I saw a few medical staff going in and out. Sometimes, Ms Khushi looked so worried and sad. And once I saw her aunt entering inside the house," said Shyam's man.

"What? Buaji? Are you sure? Do you want to confirm once again?" asked shyam, not understanding anything.

"No need for that boss. I'm sure about whatever I'm saying."

"Fine then! Send me the address and security details of that house. If you can, get me all the possible entries into that house. I will let you know what to do next," said Shyam before dismissing the person on the phone.

'So, you are doing something behind everyone's back, Khushi Ji? If I know that you can be this much cunning, I would have loved you more. No problem, I will love you now. Once let me get hold of you. Then no one can take you away from me. Not even Gupta-s or Raizada-s,' thought Shyam with lusty eyes.
