I wrote and deleted, and again wrote and deleted and again. But still, not satisfied with the out come. I'm still feeling something is missing in this part. Can you guys please point out that if you find or feel anything?

Part 16: 

After the day - he visited RM, Rudra asked Khushi, Akash and Aman to be quiet and concentrate on AR for a few days. And he kept his tabs on Shyam's to know his inquiry about the investigation. He wanted Shyam to be 100% relaxed. He know, once Shyam gets an idea of Akash and Aman's trips he will be prepared to strike. But that's the most important time for them to strike back. For that they need to be prepared. He is doing his background work for that. He appointed a few of his most trusted men from PI, to gather all the information about Shyam. And he is sure, he will get what he needs.

And here in AR, Khushi along with Akash and Aman working in the office learning about business and all. She was always a good and fast learner. So, for her content she was able to follow almost everything Akash and Aman were teaching her. She knew that learning everything about business in just a few days, is always difficult and impossible. She is thankful to both Aman and Akash for teaching her most important and vital things. She can never thank them enough for enlightening her with the much needed knowledge.

Aman and Akash both were successful in postponing their meetings for next 10 days. They wanted to make things easy for Khushi, before they left. But to their surprise and content, she turned out to be a fast learner. It made their work easy to such a level. Even though whatever she is learning is not enough to take complete grip on business, they are sure she will be successful till they come back. Then they can teach her more. They hope everything will be fine in the coming days.

Khushi is more confident about her knowledge of business now. She is confident enough to tackle things in the absence of Akash and Aman. Much to their happiness, NK returned back from his work. They updated him with all the developments. Immediately after returning, NK took charge of teaching Khushi English and a few important things like how to use a laptop, how to drive. Khushi became busy in all these. She leaves her home in the morning and arrives late. She, along with the trio, is working so hard to keep everything safe and secure till Arnav comes back.

With the help of ACP and his unofficial team, they started a "Safety and security wing" for employees where they can take legal, moral help from the department. There is a wing for emotional help too. Which have few psychologists - to help them to deal with the hardships of their lives. And the trio made sure everything was kept confident and no one other than the person in need, would have any information about their life. They kept NK as head of the department. Everything will be recorded in both hard and soft copies. Whoever wants the information, should take permission from NK and everything will be linked to his account. All hard copies will be held in a room which is attached to NK's cabin. And all the soft copies were attached/linked to NK's account. Even though NK will be the first one to know, if anyone tries to take the information, everyone gets notification about the same. NK thought that would be best in the situations where he couldn't come to office or he wouldn't be available. Whenever he would need to go on the trips for AR or his father's company, someone should be there to know about all the security information - he thought. That is the main reason he added others in the list of the persons getting notification. All four of them are satisfied with this new department and hope everything will go according to their plan. For other employees it will be just a normal help desk with all the upgrading, until they voice out their needs. But they made it clear to the employees that they can contact the help desk for 'anything and everything'. Which made employees curious, happy and somewhat relaxed. So, overall, the four of them are satisfied. They can make more changes once Aman and Akash come back - they thought.

They started their work through this new wing, by safeguarding Mohan and his family along with Kunal's family. They got worried knowing that Gopi - Mohan's friend from the security department - had vanished. When they asked Mohan about Gopi, Mohan was as clueless as them. Aman alerted the security department head about Gopi's disappearance and asked him to send a team to search for Gopi and his family. They hoped that Gopi would be fine somewhere.

After a week, both Akash and Aman left for their trips after requesting Rudra to look out for Khushi in their absence. In this week, nothing much changed from their side, much to Shyam's relaxation. Rudra concentrated on his work, which Shyam kept tabs on. After observing Rudra for more than 5 days, he asked his men to step back from the spying work. And seeing Khushi, and the trio, he got more relaxed, thinking of their struggle in keeping the grip on the business. 'How much you try, this business is going to mine. How much you try, I am going to take control. Just till then, enjoy your time in AR. Gain some experience in work' thought Shyam with a devious smile on his face. After this, he got more relaxed knowing about Aman and Akash's trips. He knew, when Aman is around Khushi, it will be a bit difficult for him to do his work. That man is damn serious and loyal to his boss. But him, out of the city will definitely be a plus point for him to strike on AR to take control. It's as easy as a child's play for him to scare NK and Khushi - or so he thought. So, he is planning to move his pawns. And he is looking forward to the day he gets everything under his control.

On the other hand, Kunal got no luck in finding Arnav around the areas of the accident. He tried his best to gather information about Arnav. But no one seems to know. Strangely, they didn't even know about the accident, which was on TVs for almost a week. It made him realize that someone has threatened not to say a word. And made things difficult for him to get information and to find Arnav. And it made Khushi very disappointed. She lost her cool on Kunal for his inability - as she says. She wasn't ready to listen to what he wanted to say. She asked him to leave and contact her if he is really capable of finding her husband. Otherwise, get ready to change his job. That made Kunal feel insulted and aggressive for finding ASR.

Somewhere outside Delhi.

"I don't know how many days we need to stay here, like this. It's getting difficult for me to handle kids. They are fighting with me for not sending them out to play. They are missing their school and friends. I don't know when things will get better," said the lady, in a disappointed and tired voice.

"I know, but trust me, this is needed. We can't take any risk now. You know what would happen, if those men found out about us. I can't risk your lives. I'm sorry for putting you all in this mess," said the man.

"What are you saying, Gopi Ji? Why are you saying sorry? It was never your mistake. You didn't do anything intentionally. I know what happened and why we are here. I understand. Please don't stress. If hiding from the world makes things right, then I'm willing to live my life hiding - throughout my life. If hiding from the world will help them to punish him, then I'm willing to; and I am even willing to die if that helps. After whatever sir did for us, our family and so many out there, we are indebted to him. If he was here, we would never have faced all these. Fate and God are cruel. They always snatches good people, leaving heinous and undesired persons behind," cried the lady.

"I wish and hope, whatever ma'am and sirs are planning will be successful and punish him," said Gopi with a deep sigh. "And I also hope that, ma'am will not be disappointed with our disappearance. Today, I'm thinking of going to the hospital to meet the doctor. Thank you for asking him about my job," Gopi said, taking his wife's hand in his with a grateful look.

"Don't say that, things happen in life. We should be strong and together in every way. I pray to God to give you the job. I hope at least we can send our kids to school. Hmm... okay, now you get ready, we need to leave for our work," said Gopi's wife.

Nodding his head, Gopi got ready and left along with his wife to test his luck in getting this job.

"Okay, congratulations. You are appointed. Your wife said you worked for a reputed company's security department. And I believe that you will be trustworthy and honest. Because, here you need to take care of the patients and hospital security. If I find you messing things, then I will not think before sending you to the police. You should be careful and strict when making others follow hospital rules. And you shouldn't be worried, nervous or scared about patients' families. I'm trusting you with all my patients. I hope you will not disappoint me," said the doctor.

"I will not, sir." Suddenly Gopi's eyes became moistened. I wish I didn't get scared before, he thought.

"Good, you can join in duty now itself, if that's okay with you,"

"Of course, sir. I will be glad to join now. Thank you so much sir," Gopi thanked the doctor.

"No problem. You just go to the security department. They will tell you all the needed information and will help you settle. You can go now," doctor dismissed and Gopi left from there to start his new job.

After joining in the new job three days back, Gopi is giving his full time and attention to understand and follow each and everything of the hospital. Even though it's not as big as city hospitals, it's not less than any super speciality hospital. The difference is just the size and capacity of the building, nothing else. It's as modern as any other big hospital with all the latest high end equipment and specialist doctors. Gopi felt happy about getting a job here. After these three days, he knows each and every corner of the hospital. He also met with all other department employees to know about everyone. He thanked ASR for keeping his department on their toes. Then, they always had problems with ASR and his strict working nature. But now, Gopi knew how much that man made them perfect in their works. Now, he understood that someone should be lucky to get a chance to work for ASR. And he is glad that he got that.

Gopi, sighed deeply, shaking these painful thoughts away from his head and tried to concentrate on his work. Today, he needs to check the emergency ward. He needs to check with all the staff of the ward. He needs to check everything there. Finishing that work means he gets a complete idea about this hospital's security and all. He will know, if something happens where to look, what to look and what to do to safeguard everyone.

Taking a deep breath, he walked towards the emergency ward.

"So, is this all? Nothing more?" asked Gopi.

"No, this is all," said the emergency ward boy after showing everything to Gopi.

"Okay, thank you. Now, can you show me the patients? I need to know who the patient and his/her family are, to allow them. I need to know about everything related to the hospital and patients," requested Gopi.

"Sure, sir. The chief doctor informed us to show and tell you everything you asked. Please come with me," said the wardboy and took him inside the ward.

"So, these are the patients and their families. But I want to show you one more person, who doesn't have anyone," said the ward boy.

"What does that mean?" asked Gopi.

"That man, on that bed, few villagers brought him here - a month back. I think he fell from the cliff. From that day no one came here looking for him. I don't know why doctors didn't give any police complaints. It's not our duty to ask them. Chief doctor also didn't mention anything but asked us to take good care of him as we do with others. He warned us not to show any insult towards that person as he doesn't have anyone beside him," said wardboy.

"And who is that particular man? Any details about him? What did he say about himself?" asked Gopi, noting everything the wardboy said in his book.

"Nothing, with the brutal way he fell from the cliff, he got severely injured on his back which made him temporarily paralised. He is not in a state to talk or move. He can only move his eyes, nothing else. So, we don't know anything about him. We are just waiting for him to be able to talk. But sir, I'm damn sure, that man is very strong-willed. Otherwise, after we saw him in the condition he was, for the first time, we never guessed or expected him to recover this fast. Doctors are very hopeful about this particular man and his improvement," said the wardboy, leading Gopi to that particular man.

"Strong-willed?" With that one word, Gopi remembered his previous boss. Stop it, Gopi. you should stop thinking about whatever happened. You should concentrate on your present - thought Gopi before following the wardboy.

Khushi and NK became busy with office work in the absence of both Aman and Akash. They are trying their best to follow each and every instruction of the duo and somewhat they are successful with the help of employees. During their break time, NK was teaching English to Khushi. Both are updating about everything to Aman and Akash, every night before sleeping. And four of them are satisfied with their work.

One day, after three days, Aman and Akash went on their trips, while NK was in a meeting, Khushi got a call from an unknown number. After contemplating on answering the call for a few seconds, she answered the call to get the shock of her life. She rushed outside leaving a voice message to NK. After getting inside the car and ordering the driver to drive towards the outskirts of Delhi, she called both Kunal and Rudra to tell about the call. But when they didn't answer her call, she left a message for them to call back.

Khushi jumped outside the car to see Gopi pacing in the parking lot. She rushed inside the hospital along with Gopi, leaving a baffled driver, who called the security head immediately, behind.

Khushi ran inside the emergency ward like a maniac pushing a few hospital staff. She almost tripped just before the bed where she tried to stop herself.

"Arnav Ji!!!!" she whispered looking at the sleeping figure in front of her. "Arnav Ji," she said loudly to wake him from his uncomfortable sleep. She smiled when her overjoyed eyes met with the surprised eyes of her husband. The twinkle in his eyes told how happy he was to see her there. "You are fine! I knew it! Nothing has happened to you! You are fine! Thanks to Devi mayya. You are fine! Oh! Arnav Ji!" she cried, hugging him to her heart content. She kissed his face like a crazy person, to make her thudding heart believe that her love is fit and fine in front of her eyes.

She sat beside him and caressed his hair. "I can't believe you are with me. Thanks to God for saving you. Talk to me, Arnav ji. How are you? Why are you here? How are you here? Who brought you here? What happened that day? Who is behind the accident? Was it Shyam JI, who caused the accident? I'm not going to leave that man. I will kill him for sure. I know, he is behind your kidnap and this condition. Just say his name, Arnav Ji. Then I will see him. I will end his chapter in our lives. Arnav Ji, why aren't you talking with me? Are you still angry with me? Or... or... are you still doubting me? Don't you still trust me? Please Arnav ji, talk to me, say something. Please..., Why are you not talking with me?" Khushi cried looking at Arnav who was looking at her with pained eyes.

"He can't talk, ma'am. He is paralised!" said the wardboy not able to see the woman and the man in their worst time.

"What?" whispered Khushi, not able to digest the news.

"Yes, ma'am. The way your husband fell from the cliff, the injury left him with a badly affected spine which made him temporarily paralised. But we can assure you that he will be completely fine. He is a strong-willed man," said the duty doctor with a small smile.

KHushi looked at Arnav who was looking at her with painful eyes.

"Nothing bad will happen to you. Everything will be fine. Now, I'm here with you. I will make things fine for us. You will be my Lad Governor again. Oh! Arnav Ji!!" Khushi cried, hugging him. Tears rolled from both of their eyes.

"Ma'am, till now, no one came and claimed him as their family member. He is alone all the time. Now, you came here and we believe that you both are husband and wife. But, I need you to talk with our chief doctor, for all the formalities. Please," said the duty doctor.

Khushi looked at Arnav and kissed his forehead. After looking at his tired eyes, she made him sleep by caressing his hair and whispering that she is with him now. Once she got confirmed about his sleep, she turned to Gopi "You have a lot to talk and explain, Mr Gopi," said Khushi in her no-nonsense tone.

"Ye...yes ma'am," Gopi stuttered, feeling nervous.

"Take me to the doctor, who is treating Arnav Ji, now. Later I want to meet the chief doctor too," said Khushi.

Nodding his head, Gopi took her to the chief doctor saying "Both are the same doctor, ma'am."

"Yes?" The doctor asked, confused seeing the lady approaching him with his newly appointed security person!

"My name is Khushi Raizada. I'm here to talk about my husband - Mr Raizada."

"Okay..., and may I know how I can help you?" The doctor is more confused about seeing Delhi's most reputed family's lady in their hospital. Even though he heard about the name Raizada, he never saw or encountered any of them! He felt very bad when he heard about the particular man of that family - who was the life of so many - ASR's demise. He always wanted to meet good people who think about others! When he came to know about ASR, he wanted to meet him. But before that, the most dreadful thing happened. He sighed deeply and looked at the lady who was looking at him with an unknown emotion in her eyes. As she is wearing marital symbols, she might be Akash Raizada's wife - thought the doctor.

"I want to know about my husband's condition," said Khushi in a nervous voice.

"Excuse me? What's wrong with him?" asked the doctor, not understanding why she has come this long distance to know about her husband. They can meet doctors in the city also, right? thought the doctor.

"Sir, the patient on bed number 8, is her husband. He is Arnav Singh Raizada," said Gopi with a thudding heart. He never, not even in his nightmares, expected to see his ex-boss in this condition. His heart is thudding with tension to know about ASR's condition. His thoughts were disturbed by a loud scream from doctor.

"wHAT? What are you saying? That patient is ASR? How can no one know him? Why didn't no one tell me about him?" asked the doctor not able to take the shock.

"Maybe because no one knows about him, doctor. When I recognised him, I immediately called madam and informed her," said Gopi.

"And how do YOU know him?" asked the doctor.

"He was my boss. I worked for him," said Gopi.

Doctor sat with a thud and looked at the woman sitting before him with a serious look. He gulped water to quench his thirst.

"Um... I... sorry, Mrs Raizada, for not recognising ASR or you. I never saw him before and that...," he was stopped by Khushi.

"It's okay doctor. I understand. You unknowingly helped us by not recognizing my husband. IF you had recognised my husband and informed the police or media, it would have been a disaster for us. It is about Arnav Ji's security. And again unknowingly you safeguarded him. Thank you for that. But for now, can you please tell me what's wrong with my husband? Why is he not talking with me? Why is he not moving? The duty doctor said, he is paralised?" asked Khushi with tears in her eyes.

"Temporarily paralised, Mrs Raizada. With the rate Mr Raizada is responding, he will not take much time to come out of this situation. He is a strong-willed person. He will be fine. Don't worry. But for a few more days or even a month, you need to take care of him. You need to be very careful about his recovery. Even if he comes out of this paralysis, he needs to take a lot of rest. That's a must," said the doctor and explained to Khushi about Arnav's condition.

"Thank you so much doctor for taking care of my husband," she stopped by her mobile ring. She hurriedly answered the call, seeing the name on the screen after excusing herself from the doctor.

"Mr Rudra!!!"

"What's wrong, Mrs Raizada? Why are you sounding so anxious?"

"I found Arnav Ji," said Khushi and that's enough for Rudra to sprint out of his office asking about the address.

Rudra rushed inside the hospital to witness Khushi fighting with the doctor.

"How dare you? How dare you say that I can't take him with me? He is my husband, damn it!" Khushi shouted her lungs out at the doctor.

"I'm not stopping you from taking him, ma'am. I'm asking you to keep him here for some more days. He needs our care. He is so vulnerable at present. He needs so much support and medical help! It will take time for him to recover!" the doctor tried to explain his point.

"No, I can't leave him here. I'm taking him to my house. I can't leave him here. He hates hospitals," cried Khushi.

"Mrs Raizada?" called Rudra to announce his presence.

"Look at him Rudra Ji, he is not allowing me to take Arnav JI with me. Please tell him that I can't leave him here or I can't live without him. Please tell him," Khushi asked in desperation.

Nodding his head, Rudra introduced himself with the doctor, "Rudra, ACP"

"Praveen, chief doctor. Nice to meet you sir,"

"Nice to meet you. Can we talk inside?"

Nodding his head Dr Praveen led them inside his room.

Rudra explained the situation and asked about ASR's condition.

"I understand whatever you are saying, sir. But we can't move him, it may affect his health. We need to be more careful. As we are treating him, we know his condition well. Then it will be easy for us to treat him. If you go to another doctor, then his recovery will be affected. Please try to understand, he needs us more than anything," Doctor tried to make them understand.

"But I can't leave him here. And I can't trust anyone with him," Khushi burst out crying feeling helpless more than anything.

Both men felt bad seeing Khushi.

"Please Mrs Raizada, control yourself. We will think about something. Please, you need to be strong," Rudra tried to calm her. He turned to the doctor and asked "Doctor, can you send any of your doctors with us? To take care of ASR throughout the day? You can guide the doctor about the treatment. And at the same time, we can help him too. I think it will help ASR in recovery, if he stays with his loved ones. Please think about this option along with other best ones. Please help us to safeguard him." Rudra waited with a thudding heart and looked at an anxious Khushi.

"I need to talk with doctors about this. I will inform you, please wait outside. And you can meet ASR too, if you want," said the doctor, smiling a little at them.

Nodding their heads, both rushed outside.

"Ma'am," both stopped hearing the call.

"Not now Mr Gopi. I will see you later," said Khushi with gritted teeth.

By hearing the name Gopi, Rudra understands who that person is. But he kept quiet. Meeting ASR is his first priority.

Rudra stood stiff looking at the man before him. He is not the person he met previously. The injured helpless man before his eyes, Rudra never expected to see him in a horrible situation. His thoughts got distubed by a whimper sound.

"Shh... Arnav Ji, you are fine. I'm here, with you. Relax," Khushi whispered, not to disturb his sleep. He slowly opened his eyes to look at Khushi.

Both of their eyes got tears looking at each other. Khushi caressed his hair shaking her head in no. Arnav closed his eyes to control his emotions. When he opened his eyes, they displayed surprise looking at the person before them.

"How are you feeling, ASR?" asked Rudra bending little, in a low voice not to alert anyone with his name.

Suddenly Arnav felt a bit relieved and nodded his head in yes.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. We will make sure," said Rudra.

ONce again nodding his head, Arnav looked at Khushi.

"I will tell you everything. But for now, you need to rest Arnav ji. Let's talk about everything later, Okay?" asked Khushi, caressing his hair.

Sighing deeply, Arnav closed his eyes feeling tired again. Trying hard to talk and move, always leaving him tired. He always wanted to get out of this damned situation and leave this place. He always wanted to go to his house, his family, his Khushi. Having her beside him, left him relaxed and slowly made him sleep.

"You can take him with you. But you should follow whatever our doctor says. I'm sending the doctor and a nurse to treat him. You need to arrange their stay. You should bring him whenever it's needed. And we don't want any recklessness in this. If you disobey my doctor, we will bring ASR back here. No compromise in that. If that's okay with you, then you can take him," said Dr Praveen.

Khushi agreed to whatever the doctor said.

"Good, I will ask my staff to prepare the discharge. You can wait outside," he dismissed them.

"Mr Rudra, I can't take Arnav Ji to RM. It's risky there. At the same time, I can't announce his presence to anyone. I want to keep him safe. But where?" asked Khushi.

"Wherever we keep him, we should make sure that place is nearer to the hospital. Why don't you talk with Akash or NK or Aman? They might have a place to keep ASR safe?" asked Rudra.

"Yes, I will ask them. Thank you for coming here and for your support," Khushi thanked him with her heart.

"Don't say that. As I said before, he is my friend whom I adore. I can't take any risk again. Whatever happened was enough. Not more, not again! You just relax, we will clear everything for ASR. you please have trust in us," Rudra assured her.

Nodding her head with a smile, Khushi excused herself to start a conference call with Aman, Akash and NK.
