Chapter 19: I hate you like i love you

He punched the walls several times but the pain which is arising within his heart not is not releasing. With passing second, it is crushing him. Her painful sob flashing his mind. How could he do this to her? His heart cursed him for his cruelty but his brain knew the answer. He cannot let anyone know but in front of Di, he pour out everything.

Di please forgive me..I knew i hurt you terribly and more than you..i hurts her, that girl who did so much for me..for my family..I broke her..i broke her trust, Di..

He can't forget the hope in her eyes, that i never leave her but he broke her faith.

He has been holding Di frame with tears rolling down until he felt presence of lavanya behind him. He compose himself and prepare to turn.

Before he make any movement she crushed herself against him.

Lavanya: I missed you Asr..where were you baby? (She said wrapping her arms, pressing herself close to him. His clenched fist in a tight punch..)

HE IS NO ONE.. Her words still ringing in his ears making him realize how deeply he hurt her.

''Asr..Asr..'' She look at him slightly,noticing he is lost somewhere. She pull apart and turn him to face her gaining his attention totally unaware his mind and heart is being captured by Khushi who already touch his heart and soul..

A fear started to engulf her. She held his hand and look at him..

Lavanya: You love me na?

There is a plain silence on other end.

When she doesn't get any reply, her fear turn into her biggest insecurity and it reached at its peak turning into piles of volcano.

Lavanya(Cupping his cheeks): You promised me you always love me.only me...Asr you.. [She paused] Did you and khushi..

Arnav: Shut up Lavanya! I throw that women out of my lives for you and you are doubting my love..Why you are bringing my ex wife between us..She has no place in my life..Ofcourse i love you..(She smiled in relief) Yes i admit there was a time when we are very close to each other but now everything is over. She smiled broadly hearing his confession and hugged him curiously.

There is a steel expression on his face.

Lavanya: That's what i wanted to hear..You are mine..only mine..You know when i saw her kissing you on TV...i felt like ripping her soul..how dare she touch my husband. (He clenched his fist but immediately recovered as lavanya meet his gaze) I get so broken..i thought i lost you..Everyone said you love her but i know my Asr..you only love me..no girl have that capability to melt your heart except me because your heart only beat for me..

Remember how i used to heart your heartbeat! She place her head near his heart to hear his uneven heartbeat. To her astonishment it is not beating the way it should be. He close his eyes and saw her angelic face.

Khushi! He utter her name deep from his heart.

Dhak dhak dkah dhak!

Lavanya smile as she heard his heartbeat and more than that she is happy to know she is the reason of his raised heartbeat.

Khushi woke up immediately as she sense someone is calling her. She look here and there but found no one. She sobbed hardly hugging herself closer to knees.

She clutched the pillow. Her heartbeat began dropping as she replayed the moments shared with him..

I LOVE YOU KHUSHI,..YOU ARE MY BREATHE..MY OXYGEN TO BREATHE..

MONEY AND STATUS DOESN'T MATTER TO ME. WHAT MATTERS IS LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS..KHUSHI IS NOT ANY ORDINARY GIRL. ALL I'M HERE IS ONLY BECAUSE OF HER. MY LIFE IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT HER BEING MY SUPPORT SYSTEM.

She got up with a jerk and roughly wipe her tears. His words brought a bitter smile on her face.

Why you made me so addicted to you..If am just a second women of your life then why you show me so many dreams..why you made me fall for you..you know my life is worthless without you, why you make me feel so special all the time..why you humiliate my love and this baby too connected to me all because of you..this baby never let me forget you..But i will not blame you...it is my fault, I was your responsibility, for your di, you accepted me and give me all the rights of being Your wife.. i shouldn't love you.. I should have know my limits..

Brokenly she get up from bed and try to walk with the support of walls. She scan her eyes to caught the exit.

She need to reach home as early as possible. By now everyone came back from Lucknow and my Rocky..how was he? Her eyes teary thinking about him..She is missing him so much ..its good they were not in Delhi otherwise they wouldn't handle it all.. i need to reach home as early as possible..what if they saw Tv and knew about by broken marriage? No!

She can't let babuji health to be affected. Doctor had strictly advised not to give any kind of stress to him mentally.

Hey devimaiya please protect my family..keep them safe...She mumbled absent minded when suddenly her leg tripped near the stairs and she lost her balance.

Glass fell from his hand and he felt restless suddenly. He look around all panic and horrified.

Lavanya who went in the kitchen to bring something rushed in the room hearing a loud pang.

Lavanya: What happen.. (She lean closer and touch his face.)

Nothing! He remove her hand and move away.

Arnav: Please leave me alone Lavanya, I can't able to forget what had happen to di..I need sometime to.. She nodded and placed black coffee on the table.

Lavanya: Are you going somewhere.. He hummed her and grabbed his car keys to leave. She block his way not allowing him to leave.

If you are planning to ditch me then let me tell me no one can fool Lavanya kashyap..i can do anything to have you..

She grab him collar and pull him for a kiss. By next moment she found darkness embracing him. He smirked injecting drug into her body.

Arnav(glaring at her): And i can do anything to protect my khushi! Roughly he put on the bed and dashed out to reach at the place where his heart belongs.

Khushi open her eyes and found herself swinging in air. She look at the depth and then back at the person who saved her from falling.

Nk who was making few calls caught her on the right time before she fell from stairs.

Nk: Are you okay..

Fearfully she clutched his collar for support. His gaze intent to her as he is holding her waist just like her husband used to hold her every time she trip. This is something she cannot bare. In fit of rage she pushed his hand off her but his grip again tightened around her.

While there is one person eyeing at them witness everything from his naked eyes, boiled in rage. How dare he touch my khushi.. His hand tightened in a tight punch.

Khushi: Chodo hame..Humne kaha chodo hame..hame ghar jana hain..hame ghar jana hain.. (Leave me..I said leave me..i want to go home..)

Nk: Look there..you will fall down..aren't you care about your life..

Khushi: No I don't care about my life..My life is finished after he.. She stopped chewing inside her cheek.

Nk: Here i saved you and instead of thanking me you are accusing me.. (She look at her arm where he was holding her and frowns.)

Khushi: If you are thinking you will make excuse and convince me to stay a night then you are wrong..I am not that kind of girl..

There is a cute smile on Nk face as he saw her spirit to fight even in difficult situation.

Nk: I am sorry..I doesn't mean to...I hold you just to saved you else that rakshas eat me alive.

Khushi: Rakshas?

Nk: No nothing..

He sigh and walk behind. She feel guilty.. She shouldn't shout at him unnecessarily.

You might be hungry khushiji wait i bring something for you..

You don't have to say sorr-- Her words halted and she immediately move to his direction suspecting him.

Khushi: How you know my name..?

Maar gaye..! He swallowed hard not knowing what to do..

Khushi: As far as i remember i don't think i tell you my name..

Ahh..Ahh..!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was taken aback hearing his scream. He continue his drama until she stop her interrogation.

Khushi: Kya hua nanheji..Ap theek toh hain..(Are you okay) She made him seat on the chair and passed plane glass of water. While he cried like a baby.

Nk: Mera saar mein bahat dard ho raha hain..(My head is paining a lot) Mummy..she always massage my head..

She let out a small chuckle and made him drink water with her hands.

Nk: You are very good khushiji..can you please bring tablet from medicine box..its in that shelf.. She nodded and rushed inside.

On the other side, Arnav really wanted to rip each and every bone from his body so that he think thousand times before going close to her. He is taking advantage of his innocent wife.

How dare he touch her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Khushi: Thank you nanheji..

Nk: Thank you for ?

Khushi: Ap nahi hote toh shyad aj hum apni sabse kimti cheez kho dete.. (If you didn't saved me i would have lost the most precious thing..She touch her stomach protectively thanking her idol for keeping her safe.

Nk: Means? He asked confused.

Khushi: Kuch nahi bas aisehi.. She smile back at him and he continue talking.

Nk: Friends? He extend his hand. Khushi was reluctant at first as remembered the time when she found her best friend in her husband and then end up getting hurt.

Its okay Khushshi ji..don't feel bad..You can stay here as long as you want..atleast stay till you get recovered..And I am sorry if I said something which i shouldn't you know i never had any control over my mouth..

Khushi: No nanheji..I am sorry I..

She accepted his friendship and he began talking and cracking jokes that bring a adorable smile on her face. Its like she is smiling after ages.

Arnav who is keeping watch on her stare at her since longer time. His heart felt at peace seeing her smiling freely. But the thought maddening him someone else is the reason of her smile.

Next day:

Arnav: What happen to her..I will kill you if you dare to hide anything.. (His voice filled with anger.)

Nk: Relax nanav..why you are getting so hyper...she just fainted..

Arnav: What? Khushi is fainted and yu are telling me now? He took out his mobile to call the doctor. He stop him.

Nk: She is fine now

Arnav: Its not small thing..khushi get fainted for the third time..I told you to give me each and every news of her whether it is small and big I have every right to know about her...

Nk: But as far as i heard she is not your wife anymore.

He taunt him deliberately to get some response but the murderous rage on his face hinder him to say anything further.

Nk: Relax nannav..She is absolutely fine..just little weak..

Arnav: I don't want any risk specially when she..anyways where is she and what doctor said?

Nk: Woh actually nannav she deny to call doctor..i don't know why?

Arnav: Are you out of your mind..how could you be so irresponsible..I told you to take good care of her but you are good for nothing..If anything happen to her i swear i kill you and forget that you are my brother..call the doctor right NOW..

Nk made a puppy dog face as he started taking his class..

Nk: But Asr she..

Arnav: I knew how to handle her..Where is she?

Nk: Her wounds were causing her pain so i gave her pain killer..she is now sleeping..

Arnav: That's good! He went in to check her. Nk try to stop her but knowing about her illness,

He cannot hold himself, barged in the bedroom. His breathe hitched as he saw his fragile innocent doll laying sick on the bed. Her face looking pale, she is looking more thin like no life left inside her.

Dammit! He hold her into his arms and hugged her crushing her into his tight arms.

Please don't hurt yourself..Punish me, beat me, slap me but please don't keep silent..You know how much i love your silly talks.. i can't see you like this..I made you cry, i am at fault, why you are hurting yourself and our.. He broke the hug and very intently rest her head on the pillow.

He kissed her forehead and held her hands.

I love you more than anything in this world..I am sorry khushi..mujhe yeh karna pada..may be you will never forgive me..more than you, i hated myself...I treated you so bad..I humiliated you..throw you out from my house but you will always remain in my heart..HAMESHA.. He look up and noticed some movement from her side. Her fingers started moving, A faint figure visible to her but she again feel unconscious.

He wipe his tears by his thumb and immediately moved out from the room before she noticed his presence.

He come out and walk to Nk.

Arnav: Take care of her..and ya never let her know you are my cousin brother..

Nk: Why you are doing this..I wanted to ask you previously but didn't get chance..Why you call me to India so urgently and ask me to help Khushi..

Arnav: Because i can't trust anyone other than you..With you, she will be safe from all danger.

Nk: Danger? What are you talking about. If you love khushiji then why you giving her so much pain! I have seen how much she loves you.

He remain numb. He walk out but Nk block his way.

Arnav: Leave my way..

Nk: Not until you tell me the entire truth..Shot!

At one side you announce lavanya your wife and other side save khushi from accident, showing to her it was me who saved her and pretend to everyone it doesn't affect you..I can't believe you throw her out from your house and that too late at night.. what is cooking in your mind..Why you are doing this nannav..? Tell me otherwise i will expose everything to khushiji that you are the owner of this farmhouse and what relation we shared.

Wait..! (he stopped him coming forward.) You won't say anything to her.

Desperately she moved her head left and right as a familiar voice echoed to her. She sat there, too much in pain to lift her leg. The pain on her injury making it difficult to stood on her feet. She blink her eyes two three times to view the surrounding. Somehow she managed to lift herself up and noticed someone is there outside

All she can see a man talking to Nk and his back visible to her. She felt a sudden urge to reach there.

Nk went tongue tied.

Arnav: I want khushi to hate me so that i execute my plan ..being khushi in raizada mansion this wouldn't be possible so i..(He closed his eyes in pain. It pricks him but he has no option.)

Nk placed his hand on his shoulder understanding his dilemma.

Its okay Nannav..tum jaise chahte ho vaise hi hoga..(Whatever you wanted i will do)

Always remember Usse kabhi pata nahi chalna chahiye main kyu use apne se dur kiya.. (Never let her know why i push her away from me)

Arnavji..!

His eyes widen in shock as he turned and saw her standing near the door.
