Chapter 26: Her denial and his acceptance

Khushi wake up stretching her arms and kissed her cutie Rocky who sleep cuddling to her. Thankfully, last night Arnav did not barged her room like every night and she get her proper nape. It's like after ages she get the chance to spend some good times with her Rocky. Although he complain but she pacify him by her buttery words.

She limped out her bed and get ready as today is very important day for her. She is going for a job interview. Instantly she get ready and prayed to DM before leaving for office. But on exact moment buaji stopped her. She again start the same topic which she least wanted to discuss. Helplessly, she look out for help but he is not at home.

Buaji: So what you have thought about marriage?

Khushi: Buaji please..I am getting late..

Buaji: Stop it titaliya..this is not the way to behave. You are going to become a mother, when you will behave maturely and think wisely? Every day Nk's family make a call. They are waiting for your nod.

Khushi: You know my answer then why asking me? I have no interest to marry again. I am not a marriage material. Saying this she turn to leave but buaji scolding stop her to the tracks.

Buaji: Your first marriage get failed that doesn't mean you sit at home entire life.You have whole life in front of you. You cannot spend it all alone. Do you ever thought how we are facing this society when ask us who is father of your baby. Because according to them, Lavanya was his wife when you were staying with him. You have no idea how much you have disgrace us by carrying this child. Knowing everything, Nk is ready to accept you along with this child. Atleast think about us. (She fought back in tears) Shashi came for her rescue and handle the situation.

Shashii: What is going on here? How many times i told you jiji, no one will force her. It's her life. Let her decide what she wanted. From now on, no one will talk about this matter..did you understand. You go Khushi..Today is your interview haina? All the best.

Khushi: Thank you babuji.. She sighed and touch his feet. He give his blessing and give her mental strength to wash out everything happened in the past and start afresh. Buaji glare her sharply. Quickly, she strides from there avoiding further eye contact to her.

She prayed DM name 100 times before stepping in her boss cabin. Her happiness no boundry as she get selected for PA in the office during her one round itself. At first she find it odd as the people who take her interview did not see her documents and directly give her appointment letter. Later, Manager came to her and made her sign a contact and ask her to join from next week.

Meanwhile, she reach the bus stop happily and stood in the bus stop. To her surprise, a car landed in front of her. Her mouth widen greeting him again. He come out wearing his sunglasses and walk to her.

Khushi: Aap yaha bhi aa gaye? (You came here also.)

Arnav: What to do. I guess you created black magic on Arnav Singh raizada. (She frowned turning her face to other side while people stare at them. Some gasp and some drool over him. This wasn't go well to her. She come to his front blocking their view to eye on him.

Khushi: Go from here..I will call you later. He look puzzled seeing her changed behaviour.

Arnav: What did you say? You will call me? But her attention only on the girls, they are continuously staring at her arnav oblivious to him.

Khushi, i am going back to home. Do you want lift?

Khushi: No thanks i can manage. He open his open to say something when she held his hand and took him away. He get pleasantly surprise. Getting the golden opportunity, he pin her against the wall and look into her eyes.

Arnav: I am impressed. Look like i should continue giving you doses of my kisses to keep you activated. He smirked and bend to capture her lips. In return he receive his slap and she push him.

Khushi: Stop day dreaming and dare to repeat this act again. Agar hamari majboori nahi hoti toh hum apko kabhi apne itne kareeb nahi ane dete.. (If it wasn't about injection, i never let you so close to me)

Arnav: Oh really? I thought you have enjoyed it.

Khushi: Now Please go..

Arnav: Not until you come along.

Khushi: I can go home alone..

Arnav: Listen khushi try to understand. Weather is not good. It's not safe for you to travel alone.. She denied but he is more stubborn than her. In no time, he lifted her up from ground making everyone grasp.

Khushi: What are you doing chodiye hame..Listen Mr raizada. Today i am very good mood. Don't spoil it by doing some silliness. Everyone is watching us. She punch his shoulder through her hands.

He get amused by her powerful act struggling into his steel grip. She shout and scream breaking his ears. But he do not left her.

Arnav: Chilao aur chilao..when you get tired do tell me i will drop you home..Remember that wt the end you have to come to me because you belong to here..in my arms.. She glare him angrily as he put her inside the car and started driving.

Khushi: What do you think of yourself..

Arnav: Father of your babies.. (He said and kiss her stomach where their twins are growing.)

She looked at him astounded by his attitude. She again shout, scream but it doesn't affect him. He will do whatever he wanted.

Arnav: Be ready at night for our date..I will come to pick you up..

Hey DM what shall i do? Help me please na.. She mumbled under her breathe. He gave his trademark smirk.

In the terrace:

She close her eyes inhaling the fresh fragrance of the cold weather aftermath the rain. She craved to dance in her like that small children jumping and running up and down right in front of her.

Khushi: Do you know mumma loves rain..

She smiled touching the tiny droplets splashing her face. A sudden laugh escape her remembering the last year events when she forced arnav to play in mud and how he scolded her, when she had spoil his clothes. The images of her marriage again sadden her. They were so happy together. A storm came and took away all her happiness in a mere moment.

A tear escape her eyes and roll down when she saw a couple romancing in rain. She remembered the way he used to cuddle her, loved her, hug her, pampered her. He was a perfect husband, a perfect lover every women proud of. Why suddenly he become so cruel to me? Why he cheated me? Why he named our love- a compromise. Why he denied to accept he is father of my babies. Doesn't he loved me for a single moment? Not that time, when they were so close? Probably it was just a contract marriage to him but for me, this marriage was her world only to get crashed down one day. No matter what she cannot let go of her past. And their babies? What i will tell them when they grow up and ask her why their father left her? From the time doctor informed her she is carrying twins, she get more worried thinking if he snatch them to her. She became more protective toward them and grab her stomach lovingly.

Remembering the moment in hospital, her face flushed. For a moment she forget everything and cherish that moment. She move her fingers and touch her lips thinking about him.

Automatically, her lips curved into a bright smile. His sensation still linger to her senses evoking the hidden feelings. After ages, she experience his touch. The way he kiss her it made her remember their beautiful bond, their marriage, their love. She hate to confess it but it's true his proximity always made heart go dhak dhak.

Stop it.. stop it.. stop it.. She slap herself scolding her not to fall for his trap. She touch her stomach and complain to her kids.

Khushi: Did you see how your papa trouble me. How dare he kiss me without my will. he know i have phobia of injections and syringe yet he put that useless condition and made me go helpless. But that doesn't mean whatever he say i agree . How dare he! Every week one kiss..no no no.. i will not go for any date vate. she gulped thinking about the hazardous consequences of going alone. An horrified thought came to her mind. If he kiss me in front of doctor, one can imagine what he will do to their DATE. He will eat me alive. This thought chill her spine..She close her eyes and clutch her chest as her heart beat again thumping against her chest provoking her to fall for him once again.

Hey devimaiya raksha karna.. A sudden touch made her body shifted rapidly. Before she recover from shock, he slid his hand around her stomach letting her crash against his chest.

Khushi: Aap???????

Arnav: I know you are thinking about me..specially about our KISS

Khushi: Stop it arnav singh raizada..I am not thinking about you understood!!!!!

Arnav: Don't lie? He lean forward and look deep into her eyes. Truth is visible in your eyes. (She tore her gaze and look away.)

Khushi: Dekhiye..ap humse dur rahiye varna hum.. (Stay away) Pointing finger at him, she charged him.

Arnav: Varna.. He took her finger, intertwined with him giving clear indication she can't run away from him. She remove her hand finding a opportunity to get rid of him. He move to her and as usual she move backward. Her back hit the pillar giving her no space to go. Her breathe get heavy as his breathe touch her skin. He smirk capturing her into his cage like embrace not giving her any space to go.

Khushi: Let me go.. (She pleaded with closed eyes)

Arnav: Sweetheart i am not even holding you.. She open her eyes and get surprise to see him not blocking her. She breathe acting normal and put a brave front to face him.

I am going to my room..dare to follow me inside.

Arnav: Are you warning me or inviting me?

Khushi: Shut up!

Arnav: I will shut up when you join me for our date. (She narrowed her eyes) Baby didn't i told you, it's our special night. You have 15 minutes to be ready..now be a good girl and get ready fast.

Khushi: Hum nahi ayenge.. (I will not come)

Arnav: Are you sure..?

Khushi: Haan.. (She replied with a stern tone.)

Arnav: Fine! With authority, he pull her against him and lifted her up into his arms before planting a soft kiss to her cheeks. For a moment, she get numb but as soon as she recovered, she get shocked to see her landed in the car. As she move her head to view outside, another shock awaited her. She found them standing outside a restaurant.

Khushi: I am not going inside..

Arnav: Who is asking your permission? Her mouth open in O shaped. She flinched and then try to get out from his cart but he lock it.

Khushi: Ap aise kaise kar sakhte hain.. (How could you do this me) What do you want haan? Why you are making my life difficult crossing my path repeatedly. I told you everything is finished between us.

Arnav: Shut up and sit quietly..

Khushi: What do you think of yourself. I am not your slave to agree your demand silently. You can't force me to.. She get baffled seeing his anger filled eyes. Her every denial making him to loose his patience. But she is not going to give up easily. She keep trying banging the glass door struggling into his hold.

Arnav: I said keep quiet for a while.

Khushi: Hum chup nahi rahenge..apki himmat aise hui hamri marzi ke bina yaha lane ki.. (Why would i stay silent..how could you brought me here without my permission)

Arnav: LIKE THE WAY YOU DARE TO THINK BRINGING ANOTHER MAN IN YOUR LIFE. Her eyes widen in shock.

Arnav: Don't look as if you don't know about whom i am talking.

Angrily, he took her out and brought her inside his apartment.

Arnav: What did you thought i never came to know that nk proposed you..He clenched his fist.

Khushi: So what. Why you are getting angry. What is the harm in second marriage? You also married two times so why not I? Why i can't marry another man? You also moved on very easily forgetting all the promises we had vowed together and accepted your beloved lavanya. Remember?

Arnav: Shut up..just shut. Don't speak about that women. You knew how much i hate her. (He ran a frustrated hand through his hairs as their argument not coming to end. Infact worsen their relation. He wanted to tell her the truth about lavanya but not like this. More than that, Nk surprised him. He knew everything why he left Khushi, under what circumstances he took the step to leave Khushi, how dare he lay his bad eye on his love. He swore under his breath.

His red shot eyes enough to convey her what he is planning to do.

Khushi: No Arnavji..he is your cousin..you will not do anything to him..

Arnav: Do hell with him..he will pay for his deeds. Tum sirf meri ho..meri and i brought you here to tell you that tomorrow you will go back home and reject his proposal..did you understand..

She look into his eyes wondering why does it matters to him when she had no place in his heart. Definitely my babies were the reason of it. She presumed and barked at him in the same rage he is showing.

Khushi: Why does it matters to you? You should be happy for me. There is someone who is ready to give name to my babies unlike you, who never think once before disgracing his wife. At-least now people won't call my babies a illegitimate. She spat with so much venom.

Arnav: You will not say yes to him.. He worn.

Khushi: Are you ordering me? If yes then you are messing with a wrong person. I am not your employee who run to your tips. I will do whatever i want.

Although she have no such plans to marry Nk. Just to prove him wrong, she accepted the proposal and decided to engaged to him as early as possible.

Arnav: You will regret Khushi gupta..You know Arnav singh raizada never lose..

Khushi: Come back from your dreams and face the reality. I am going to become someone else. No one can stop this alliance.

Arnav: You really think so you are capable to defeat me? (He asked raising his eyebrow.) Within 24 hours you will come running to my arms and say i love you to me. (He challenged her and show her a ring he brought for their date. But now he will wear it to her after winning this challenge.)

After lot of heated argument, he brought her inside the restaurant and made her sit there.

Later, he brought her toward the middle where he had arrange a beautiful dinner date for her. Unwillingly she sit here as she know it's useless to protest. He will do whatever he want.

A soft music played at the background. He ask her hand. Getting her rejection, strengthen his determination even more. He forcefully brought her to the dance floor and pull her closer by waist urging her to dance on his tunes.

Their eyes interlocked.

He kissed her hands. Unable to handle this, She turn away. He pull her back making to crash against him. Lovingly, he give her a hot hug.

Khushi: Why you are doing this Arnavji..? He just smiled and stoke her arms.

Arnav: Because you are entirely mine. His touch weaken her knees. She somehow console her heart to be strong.

He smiled glancing her, completely smitten by her. He began seducing her through his eyes. While she is diverting her gaze and told him she is hungry. They move out from the dance floor and she took the seat. Coming back to her, he bend down to his knees and touch her swell.

Khushi: Hame bhook lagi hain.. (She again lied in order to stop him)

Arnav: Do you know your mumma is very innocent. She don't even know how to lie especially when she got an intelligent lover..He wink at her making her frown. She try to move but he capture her in his embrace.

Arnav: Don't worry i know how to reduce her anger.. (He kissed them and she close her eyes momentarily.).

He whispered something to them in a code language. Khushi try to hear it but failed as he catch her spying at him. He get up and lead her to the table where all her favorite dishes are ready. After spending beautiful time with his lady love, he feel the most luckier person in the world to have a beautiful lady.

Arnav: Come baby it's time to go back home. Tomorrow is very special day for us. You have look beautiful for our engagement.

Khushi: Only in your dreams! She rolled her eyes and he drop her home before going back to raizada mansion to give Nk a good piece of mind.
