Chapter 21: Crushed dreams

Khushi is crying bitterly in her mother embrace silently. She has no answer for their queries. Everyone is suffering due to her husban--- She mentally corrected. EX HUSBAND. This phase passed a painful arch all over her body.

Amma..Please forgive me..I.. She was trying hard not to cry and stay strong but seeing her family suffering she is feeling weak.

Buaji: (Grabbing her forearm) Why Khushi? How can you hide about that Asr from us..are we are so stranger to you that you..-- (Been interrupted)

Khushi: No buaji..its not like that..I..I.

Buaji: Bas (She showed her palm) I don't want to hear a single word from you. If you had told us about Arnav's First marriage then this day never arrive.

Garima: Bas karo jiji..Dekh nahi rahe iski halat.. (Stop it Jiji..aren't you seeing her condition?) She console her and placed her hand on her head soothingly.

Buaji: Aur shashi ki halat tumhe nahi dikhti..(And what about shashi babua) Hearing about your broken marriage he had been admitted to ICU..How can those raizada deceive us..Arnav was already married..haare re nankishore..I still unable to believe it..yeh bade log..how bloody low they can get to fulfill their selfish advantage.. I never imagine in my wildest dream Anjali whom i worshiped like my daughter she will cheat us disgracing the marriage bond like this..

Khushi: No buaji..Di had no fault into this..It is my fate and now i had accepted it..

Buaji: You just shut up Khushi..It all happen because of you..if anything happen to my shashi babua i won't forgive you..But firstly i will complain to police..That raizada would never stay happy ruining our lives.. She remove her cell and about to rang but khushi took phone from her hand and disconnect it.

Khushi(Pleading her): Buaji please, don't do this..!

Buaji: You are still caring about that man who throw you out from his house like useless garbage..

Khushi: I don't give a damn to him buaji.. (Her demeanor changed. There is a extreme hatred by each and every word she spoke.)

Buaji: Then why you are worrying about him..

Khushi: Because this is not the right time to take any action..Babuji is ill..he needs us..please try to understand.. (Their reaction put her in dilemma if she should tell about her pregnancy or not. They are already very much in shock and if this news come into their ear, she don't know how they will react. Its better she should stay silent for time being, she decided and assured them she will make all right )

Payal who just came from medical store stood still, her eyes filled with tears. The transformation in khushi pained her. She had always seen her immature, irresponsible, she always spread happiness around her but destiny had played nasty game make her life in worse. How could someone be so cruel,

This girl worship you more than anything and what you did with her? You spoil her life..(She cursed devimaiya idol feeling extreme angry.) Garima patted her shoulder. She turned and hugged her crying her heart out. But there is no strain of single tear in her eyes.

Payal: Did you see Amma..what our jhalli khushi become..For the first time i am seeing her like this..She is not my khushi Amma..she is not..I know her very well..She is broken from inside but not letting it visible on her face..I hate you jiju..Why you spoil her life..She supported you, love you and what you had done? You left her for your own selfishness forgetting all the sacrifices she had done for you..I will never forgive you.. (Payal had seen so much happy being with Arnav and she can see how she become suffere in the hands of him)

Sambhalo payal..you have to be strong..if you broke down who will support khushi..Ab tumhe hi khushi ko sambhalna hain..

Payal sighed, she made one decision that probably hurt her but it is for good to khushi.

Khushi: Arnav Singh Raizada..Furiously she reached his cabin and bang his table. Arnav was lost in his deep thought praying for khushi well being when she came in front of him unexpectedly. His heart fill in joy.

Arnav: Khushi..! (He got up and walk to her.)

Khushi: Don't you dare!! (Stepping back) Hamare kareeb ane ki koshish bhi mat karna, Mr raizada..

Khushi: What are you hurting me again and again..Why you not letting me rest in peace..Please spare me and my family for got sake..!!!

Arnav: What are you saying khushi.. (He try to touch her noticing some bruises on her skin but she inch back.)

HAMNE KAHA HAMSE DUR RAHIYE...(Stay away) This time she shouted on top of her lungs.

Arnav: How you get hurt..?

That doesn't important. Because of you and your so called wife, my Babuji is in hospital, landlord throw my family out..Aren't you satisfy spoiling my life..For god sake spare my family.. (She said raising her voice.) He continue to stare her reading each and every features her eyes trying to expressing which her voice doesn't.

Khushi: Punish me, hurt me, kill me but spare them..I am at fault..i had promised you i never cross my limits or ever try to interfere in your married life yet you hurt them..You stay happy with your wife..do whatever you want..I never try to come between you and her i assure you..But please let them live freely..they are innocent..don't hurt them..

Arnav: Khushi tum yeh...What..are you saying...(He was completely stunned..He can't believe lavanya go to such extend..)

Khushi: You try to attack me..that's okay..i can understand you hate me...i didn't say anything as i get used of it now but what is the fault of my family?

This time you hurt the people i adore mostly..I cannot tolarate it AT ALL...This is my last warning to you..Next time i won't worn you..(She said pointing finger at him)

I am not that weak women whom you had used for your own advantage..I am strong..strong enough to protect my loved ones.. (Her hatred increase tenfold wondering if anything had happened to her baby..this baby is only ray of hope in her life and he trying to snatch this also...

Arnav: Someone attack You? Are you okay..(She rolled her eyes disinterested by his fake care. Just when he was about to say, lavanya made her entry.

Lavanya: What the hell you doing here.. She gretted her teeth, her presence near him burned her.

She advanced toward him and kissed his cheeks.

Arnav(Controlling the storm): What you doing here..

Lavanya: Baby i miss you.. (She gave him side hug before moving apart. A tremor passed through khushi witnessing their closeness but she didn't let it affect her.

Lavanya(Turning to her): So what you were saying to MY HUSBAND..She deliberately highlight this word to make her aware he is entirely hers now.. (Khushi clutched her dupatta tightly)

Khushi: What does he say to him that he..

Lavanya: Your father is so annoying..he was doing all bakwas coming to our house so WE showed him his real place..its sad to know he is in ICU.. (She pressed the word we to make her believe Arnav too responsible for it)

Arnav: What?

Lavanya: Chill baby..he is not going to die so early like her daughter...(she indicated to her)

Her heart sank. She stare at Arnav unable to identify him. Is he the same man she used to love? Her heart cannot recognize him. Because of him, her babuji suffered major heart attack! She can't accept this fact, although her eyes shown his true color. She look at him with painful eyes.

Lavanya: This is your punishment kissing my husband miss khushi gupta.. Khushi continue to look at him not giving attention to Lavanya's word while he avoid looking back into her eyes. He had no answer for her query that her eyes asking him. Instead he remain silent.

Lavanya: Yes..it was Arnav who humiliate your father when he came to raizada mansion..because he can't tolerate your name to join with you in any way..poor your father..

His wanted to scream and tell her everything but the moment his eyes fell on her hand which is resting on her belly , remind him of this innocent child, his one truth may risk both of them.

He look at lavanya with clenching jaws..

Arnav: how could you so this, Lavanya.. (She stopped him placing her finger on his lips, brushing it. Khushi tilted her head away disinterested.

Lavanya: Sweetheart don't pressurize your delicious mouth..I know you are desperately wanted to kiss me now but baby look at the surrounding..conserve it for night i promise i would give you lots of love tonight..

Khushi felt her heart pricked, while her eyes started flowing but she immediately wipe it before they noticed it and make fun of her feelings..she knows she is fool to love him despite being aware he don't deserve to be..but her heart always betray her..And now she hated this heart of her more than him.

By knowing Arnav had moved on in his life, brought a bitter smile on her face.

Khushi(In her heart): I am glad to know you destroy those memories completely and moved on with Lavanya ji.. She look away as he expressing his true feelings through his eyes..

Lavanya: You are still here..What a shameful girl you are..always poke your nose and spoil our privacy.. 9She inhale sharply and turn to walk away.) And yah next time took appointment before meeting him, this is not your middle class locality where you roam freely like dogs..waise bhi..You bloody middle class girl always need chance to trap men.. She put venom after venom words at her while she replied with a mocking smile.

Khushi: Serve him for yourself..i am least interested..

Lavanya: Oh really..Then why you are so desperate to kiss him that night..If you have so much warmth in your body then become someone mistress..

Lavanya!!!!!! Arnav shouted loosing his calm.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Why you feeling bad for her..she deserve it..she dare to touch you..(Looking back at khushi) what you thought arnav will accept you, refusing my love..stupid girl, I am his first love, He only love me..

Khushi: You are so insecure Lavanya. Its like you are you trying to convince yourself more than me..Well for your kind information let me tell you that night it was your husband who was desperate to have me..i had just kiss him in the public but later he.. Lavanya felt a sudden rage erupt through her. She grabbed her neck getting out of control.

His eyes widen seeing her getting violent all of the sudden. The moment he fear the most coming into reality..Khushi shouldn't reveal it all, he never tolarate a scratch on her due to this psycho women..

Lavanya: Asr is mine..only mine samjhi tum.. She choked her neck while Khushi smiled wickedly.

Khushi: May be you ar..e right but your sho..uting cannot cha..nged the fact that we beco..me...

Shut up Khushi!!!!!!!!! He intrude her instantly taking lavanya hand off her neck.

He pull lavanya back while Khushi went breathless choughing harshly.. He move to khushi and handed her water.

Khushi: You don't need to worry about me Mr raizada.. i had learn to live my life alone, you concentrate on your wife who seems not well..

''You bi***.. Lavanya again came forward to attack her..

Arnav: Lavanya calm down..

Lavanya: How can i calm down..Tell her that you love me..tell her to stay away from you.. (She cupped her face) Asr, tell me truth..nothing had happened that night.. Arnav breathed before opening his mouth.

Arnav: I love you lavanya..Nothing had happened..she is lying..She meant nothing to me..

Lavanya smiled and hugged him. He closed his eyes guiltily knowing well what his small words affect on khushi.. Her eyes fixed at him, while he keep holding lavanya into his arms, he doesn't gathered courage to look at her.

Her entire body went at fire hearing his statement. The way he looked at her..the way he kissed her..confessed his love..make love to her..all become a nightmare..he named as MEANT NOTHING..

He didn't dare to look at her again. with a last cold look, she marched from there without glancing back.

Somehow he handle lavanya madness and send her at home. On finishing his work, he reached to parking area to go and drive to his home. Absent minded, he went lost in the memories.

Flashback*

Arnav: Khushi...Khushi..Where the hell are you dammit.. (He utter her name banging the table beside him.)

Kya hain kyu bula rahe the..hum kitchen mein the.. (She frowned with her hands full of besan, He smiled just by gazing at her, her innocent way to remove hairs but unable to do it, melt his heart.. He walk to her and did the honor brushing her skin before putting it back lovingly.. A chill run down her spine.

Khushi: What are you doing laad governor..let me go.. She try to pull her hand but he held it tightly behind her waist and hugged her.

Arnav: Always busy in kitchen chores, No time for me..Suddenly he remembered something and broke the hug.

How you know I was calling you as far as i remember i didn't utter your name so loudely..you were in kitchen right?. She smiled at him and put her hand on his shoulder.

Khushi: My darling husband, Our soul are connected to each other..your heart is not yours..it's mine..I can hear your each and every heartbeat Mr raizada..

Arnav: What non sense is that..

Khushi: This is not non sense..Don't you believe me..try it.. (She gesture him to hear her heartbeat.) Whenever you were away or i misses you, i close my eyes and call you, In no time you were right in front of me..I know you find it foolish, trust me it really work..

Apko bhi jab hamari yaad aye..hame dil se yaad karna..hum apke samne aa jayenge..(Always remember my words..Whenever you feel i am away and you badly wanted to see me, then close your eyes and call me deep from your heart..

Flashback end*

Khushi..! His voice were heavy and his vision blurr due to the tears.. He never had believed her words but today he badly wanted to see her just once, so he call her just like she used to do..To his surprise, she was right in front of him standing near a bus stop..

You are right Khushi..our soul are connected to each other..(Her love and faith gave him unknown strength to do anything for her if it cost his life, he don't care.)

Lavanya..you did a very grave sin hurting my love..Now just wait and watch how i made your days and night upside down. tumhe main khoon ke asson rulayungi jaise tumne khushi ko rulaya (I will make you cry each and every moment..in the same way as he did to her..)

Khushi felt some familiar sensation. Winds blew swinging her hairs. She turned in astonishment. In no time her eyes caught him staring her. He don't know what to say and what to do as she walk to him. Their is a blank expression on her face.

Khushi: I guess your current wife is not satisfying you that you come to your ex- wife..opps i mean ex servant, who serve you for 6 months..

Arnav: Stop it..

Khushi: Does it hurt..i am so sorry for that Mr raizada..

Arnav: Bus might come late..I will drop you...It's not good for you to stay there..

Khushi: So sweet of you..but you see it doesn't suit a low class girl to sit with a boss.. (She turn to leave when she felt him holding her hand in his grasp.

HOW MANY TIMES I TOLD YOU DON'T TOUCH ME..YOU HAVE LOST ALL RIGHT ON ME..

He ignore her protest and started dragging her

Arnav: Seat in the car.. She look at him with rage and then back to his hand.

Khushi: Kis haq se..

Tumhara.. There is a long pause as their eyes locked. She shoved his hand and inch back immediately..

You are sick, Arnav..You again wanted to show me fake dreams only to break it next moment..

Arnav: I have no such plans..I just wanted to drop you safely..

Khushi: Really thankful for your kind generosity..I don't need your help.. She turned again and asked him.

What did you said in front of your wife..Nothing had happened between us..? Are you planning to ditch her too?

That's none of your business..He spoke avoiding his gaze..

At-least be loyal with your first wife.. She came back fighting from death for you but you..shame on you..Anyways good luck i always prayed you stay happy even though how much bad you thought about me..

He was going to tell her it was done by lavanya, a car headlight flashed them and it halted near them. Nk arrived.

Khushi: Let's go Naheji.. She held his hand and both seat in his vehicle.

Without giving damn to him, she sit in his car and drove off..

It burnt him seeing her with NK. He kept staring her.

That women left no chance to assault your character still you thinks about her..You have really heart of gold...You have no idea khushi, how mad is she..I hate her., I detached myself from my real happiness, from you, we are not together, all because of her..I am so sorry, Khushi, I am unable to hold you when you need me so much at this stage..

Within a fraction of moments Khushi disappear from his sight. Its like she is slipping away from his life and he may not able to see her again. It is suffocating him.

'Don't go Khushi..I can't breathe without you...''

Akash: Payal..tum yeh..how could you..we love each other..

Payal: What can i expect from you when your brother does the same to my sister..You broke my trust..

Akash: Please..listen to him.. (She started going away from him..)

Payal: I don't want to hear..You better forget me and move on and marry a girl of your status because we are middle class people,..that's what your brother named my sister before throwing her out.

PAYAL.!!!!!!!!!! She left the place leaving him broken..

Arnav punch his hand against the wall until it started bleeding. Her accusing eyes flashing to him again and again.

Nk: Nannav..stop it.. (He pull his hand.)

Arnav: Don't stop me Nk..I deserve it..I hurted her so much..Now she will never believe me no matter what i would do..I lost her..I lost my khushi.. He furiously slammed his hand, her bitter words yet eching to him.

Nk: Everything will be fine just two days..once lavanya sign these papers, you and bhabhi unite again. Arnav stopped moving and see the divorce papers. His smile vanished as soon as it appear.

Arnav: Khushi never trust me..she think i am responsible for her father condition..She loathed me..That bloody lavanya she put all blame on me..i hate her like i hate no one..Why i had married her..I am such a fool to love her all my life...Why i can't able to see her purity..

NK: Relax Nannav.. If everything go accordingly then lavanya chapter get within 2 days..

Arnav: Probably yes! But does he get back khushi faith and love? He brutally crushed her heart.. He has no answer for that.

Garima: Khushi..Where you went..Do you know Rocky has put entire hospital on head by your absence.. Her lips curved into bright smile. The thought of Rocky were like piano to her. It's been so long, Her life were so messed up all those days, she never get a chance to think about him but now she don't know how to rectify her mistake, he definitely very angry with her. she missed him so much..she wanted to hold him, kiss him, hugged him and share all the grief.

Khushi: Where is he? (She asked curiously searching her eyes for him..)

Buaji: Are abhi toh yahi tha..kaha chala gaya..(Few moments ago, he was here) Rocky..

Both garima and khushi began searching him.

Buaji: Hai rey nandkishore..Why you both worrying he must be here..

Khushi: Where are you Rocky, come out baby! She walked further, but there is no sign of him..I knew Rocky must angry with me..I shouldn't send him away.

Rocky please come back..see i hold my ears..I promise i won't do it again..Rocky!!!!!!! Sooner her worry turned into tension by not getting any response. She went to the receptionist and inquire about her pet. But no one knows. Her temper rose up instantly as she recall Lavanya words. They both can do anything to make her into trouble.

''Arnav singh raizada if you dare to harm my rocky..I will forget you are father of my unborn..''

Khushi smiled meeting rocky after ages. She kneel down and open her arms happily for him but the moment she saw him licking Arnav's feet, all her happiness turn into sorrow.

Rocky movement freeze and his head bowed. Khushi got her answer. She hated this man more after this moment. He snatched everything dear to her...her marriage..her family..her love and now her biggest support system..her rocky..

''Come to me rocky..this man is not good..he is brainwashing you baby..(She try to make him understand but Rocky has taken his decision to be with his jiju. When he didn't move, her sadness turn into anger.

''You too leaving me..'' She chuckled in pain.

''Never show your face to me..From now onward

you are dead to be Rocky..I will forget i had ever gave you space to my heart..in my home..You all men are bas***ds..

''Congratulations Arnav singh raizada..you get successful separating my dear ones..'' She left from there breaking all ties from both of them.

Rocky had tears in his eyes seeing her leaving him.

His gaze turn to Arnav and he was ready to bite him. But khushi love for his jiju stop him to harm him. He sighed helplessly.

Arnav lifted him into his arms and say..

''I am sorry for making her cry..I promise i will gain her back..we both will win her trust..''

Rocky frowned and gave small baby kicks to him hurting his girlfriend..

Arnav smiled in tears and kiss his cute nose..
