Manorama Raizada wasnt going to let anyone hurt her son , and she will not rest until she give them a piece of her mind . It was the reason she went to meet the girl ,irrespective of her family warnings and was taken back to see her Arnav beta ,talking with her.

She could see the closeness between the two of them even from the distance and her traitorous heart was upset to see the laughing with each other ,that she didn't give it a thought as she marched up to her nephew and slapped him hard .

" Hell ,hi bye bye . How could you betray Akash like this ,you know he likes the girl and how could you.." She couldn't finish the sentence because now only her brain finally connected with her heart and she realized  maybe she must have overreacted.

"Sorry Arnav beta , you came here to talk sense in to this girl just like me right . Of course you did , I am sorry I misunderstood" Manorama apologized profusely and yet those two  haven't uttered a word that she turned back to the girl who rejected her son. 

She looked upset as well , and it gave Manorama hope that maybe she liked her Akash beta too.

" I am Akash's mother and Arnav's Mamiji ,  Manorama Raizada . Can we talk for few minutes " she addressed the girl whose eyes drifted back to Arnav asking for permission ,again the suspicion that she was more close to Arnav threatened to break her resolve but she knew her nephew and it was the reason she managed to squash those doubts.

" Not now ,Mamiji . Khushi has a shop to run and I have already taken much of her time . How about you both meet later today ,how about the cafe near out house. " Arnav beta had been quick to come up with an another plan ,while she didnt understand why she can't talk with her now,when she came this far.

She agreed with him because Manorama indeed needed to talk with the girl and it can't be rushed so she decided to wait for few more hours  

Manorama came by taxi and so her nephew decided to drop her off at home, on the ride back she was so curious about the girl that she can't help but ask him questions after questions

" Why did she reject Akash , she looked miserable just like Akash ,what did she say to you ....." the questions were endless but Arnav beta didn't answer them back as if he was lost in thoughts as well.

" Mamiji ,wait a little longer and you can talk to her in person " he answered back as he dropped her back home and Manorama realized her question have  to wait after all .

Khushi hadn't expected to see him that day ,she had expected him to have forgotten all about her but yet he came to see her and in the few minutes they talked he had even managed to make her laugh.

" So tell me ,khushi . Does your sister also keep starring at the wall looking lost like my cousin " he asked her once they were seated in corner table of her father's shop.

" Yes , tell me Arnav . What should we do about it , they both are miserable " Khushi asked him but he hadn't the answer , so they sat together in comfortable silence .

Until Khushi began stress eat her jalebis , which was the time he mentioned how cruel she had been to eat before a diabetic patient which managed to make her laugh for the first time since her sister heart got broken .

It was at that moment Akash mother walked into the shop and slapped her nephew , Khushi who had seen the glimpse of Arnav in his CEO mode expected him to get angry but he wasn't in the least bit angry but just hurt flickered in his eyes until his aunt apologized then it was gone as well.

Khushi had been taken back to see this side of him , a loving nephew who had all the patience for his aunt and when he rescued her from talking with his aunt for the time being she was more grateful to him than words can express.

Because Khushi and Arnav had assumed telling the family it didn't work out will be the end of their family interference but they haven't taken into consideration Akash mother who seemed to love her son a lot.

It gave her hope to expect that she will understand if she learnt about the mistaken identity and accept her sister ,but Khushi wasn't going to bank on hope alone because she wasn't risking her sister happiness the second time around. 

So when Arnav called her after he dropped his aunt ,she surprised him by coming up with a new plan one that could enable Kushi to test Akash mother even if it meant continuing the deception bit longer.

" What do you plan to find ?" Arnav asked her but the truth was she didn't plan on anything ,if was just her gut instinct that hoped she will be able to find a solution when she meets with his aunt

Khushi had been a nervous wreck by the time she walked inside the cafe to find Akash's mother already seated in the corner table and realized may be meeting her alone had been a mistake .

She had easily dismissed Arnav part in the morning encounter and now without him ,she began to wonder if she was  being hasty in her decision. 

Looking at Akash mother decked up like an jewellery advertisement model compared to her plain dress up ,she began to wonder if she was over reaching and if her sister was bound to be unhappy yet she can't just walk away without talking to her .

So smiled at her and greeted her nervously before taking the seat opposite to her ,and was relieved when Akash's mother didn't began questioning her but rather continued to look at her silently waiting for her to be the one spoke up first .

" My Sister , Payal is a good girl whose marriage broke off once because of me " Khushi began speaking as she told Akash's mother about her sister first marriage alliance .

" I admit what happened to your sister was heart breaking ,but what does that have to do with Akash beta " Akash's mother asked and Khushi wanted to tell her the entire truth but not yet.

" The alliance came for my sister first and mine was added at the last minute. I refuse to marry before my sister " she answered back and waited for her to react .

Khushi knew from Arnav ,that Akash's mother had been hoping for a quick marriage and she need to know if her mother was willing to wait for her son's sake .

" That good , you and him can do what this young people call now days.  yes dating . You both can keep dating till your sister finds someone else ,why break up " Mamoramaji answered back earning a smile from Khushi

" I will think about it , but I first need to tell you something else as well . If you are okay with it only then I can talk with Akashji " Khushi spoke up, it was the moment of truth .

" I told you about my inheritance right ,well that fact is my parents have incurred most of debts for my sister first marriage which got broken  and then Papa got sick and my mother had to sell all her jewellery , when the offer for  the alliance came from your family they asked for no dowry or any thing of that sort which had been the reason my parents accepted the offer. 

And I want to help my parents , I have plans for the inheritance including expanding my father shop and paying back their debts.  So I need to know if the offer stands for my marriage as well , not just between Arnav and my sister. " Khushi answered back and waited for Akash's mother to take back her support .

If what she learned from Arnav brother in law office had been true then Akash's mother only reasons to want her as daughter in law had been for her inheritance

And if what she learned from Arnav was true ,than Akash's mother wanted that inheritance for her sake as her nephew controlled her purse strings albeit for a good reason .

" That is fine by me , my son earns enough to keep you happy the rest of your life ,he may not be the CEO of the company or wealthy as Arnav beta but he is a good man who will keep you happy " Akash's mother defense of her son surprised her  

" Then why did you want me to be your daughter in law , I knew you offered the alliance after learning about my inheritance from Shyamji " Khushi answered unable to continue to lie anymore .

" Is that the reason you broke up with my son , because you didn't want to marry someone who was after your inheritance just like  how it happened to your sister " Akash's mother asked her and Khushi couldn't really explain to her how while it may be the reason , the decision hadn't be hers but her sister's.

" Yes , but not like how you imagined it to be .. There is something you need to know " Khushi answered back as she finally confessed everything to Akash's mother.

It wasn't her decision to make ,she didn't ask for Arnav opinion or how her sister would feel because the person she met today is someone who loves her son a lot .

And Khushi trusted in her love for Akash , to understand everything they had kept a secret till now . Because if there was one thing that was evident to Khushi had been the truth that Akash mother may have been misunderstood as well .

Because from want she saw so far , she didnt come across as greedy or someone who would lie straight to her face about not wanting her inheritance ,she was a mother who came to meet her for her son and maybe it was time for someone to ask her side of the story as well .

It was why she told the truth to Akash's mother and hoped she wouldn't regret it later.
