One week later..

                Arnav Singh Raizada had always played the role of a cynic in his family because his family were too trusting , and he had no intention of getting them hurt . It was why he didn't share his cousin enthusiasm as he dashed out of his office probably to meet one of the Gupta sisters .

                   From the words of Akash ,Payal couldn't possibly be a human as he had elevated her to sainthood. And surprisingly no one was more pleased with the development than Mamiji who is already planning the wedding .

                   While his nani and di were disappointed that he didn't click with khushi they didn't ask much about his date once he told them that they won't suit. 

        " Before you ask how the date went ,let me tell you she doesnt like me either . So I finished my side of the deal, no more marriage talks  " he told them once he got home after the date .

        But when Akash returned back a hour later ,he didn't have to say a word for his family to gather how the date went considering he was shy  they didn't pester him with questions as well . 

         Which meant Arnav was alone with his suspicions , he couldn't trust Khushi and whatever she told him that day . Because the girl who went to the lengths to spy on him claims she has no interest in marrying him .

          The more she stressed that she was here for her sister ,the more suspicious he got and by the end of the date he was glad that he didn't have to meet her anymore except Akash who liked her sister so much that he is basically daydreaming in office .

           Add to that today he had to have an awkward conversation with Mamiji who asked him if he was okay with Akash getting married first , while he has no problem with Akash getting married first ,he has problem with letting him get married to someone he can't trust yet.

            It was the reason he drove to some place he had never went before instead of home once the working hour ended and as always he found his brother in law lost in the case files .

            " Can I come inside " Arnav asked as he knocked on the door surprising his brother in law because in the five years he had been married to his sister ,Arnav never visited his work place once .

          " Any problem , Anjali is fine right ,I just talked to her an hour ago " his brother in law asked him instead coming to the conclusion only a  problem will bring Arnav into his doorsteps and he was right .

         " I need to confess something " Arnav answered back yet again surprising him ,while Arnav respected his brother in law and liked him even they were not used to having heart to heart talks either .

          As if understanding it going to be something that troubling Arnav, his brother in law simply asked him to take a seat and speak ,the lawyer in him was back as he listened to what Arnav had to say then he laughed totally confusing him by his behavior.

           " You aren't angry with me ?" Arnav asked because surely he expected some sort of anger from his brother in law .

            " For what ,that you hired someone to look into me before I got married to your sister . Arnav ,I know how much you adore your sister and I would be surprised if you didn't , and what brought this sudden urge to confess don't tell me you are still spying on me .

             Because doing so before marriage was fine but I would be disappointed that I can't earn your trust even after five years " his brother in law answered back leaving Arnav pleasantly surprised that he had taken it lightly than he anticipated.

               " No ,no more spying but it about Akash . " Arnav didn't have to say much more as the understanding lit in his brother in law face .

             " You are worried Akash would be upset if he found out ,you have been spying into the Gupta sisters and you are worried how they will feel as well " his brother in law spoke up his dilemma in words .

             " Yes ,but I don't seem to trust them like di and nani " Arnav answered back ,he was worried they may regret their trust after marriage and he don't want to let his family trust get broken by strangers .

               " It because you don't trust anyone except family Arnav , and from what Anjali told me about them ,I will not worry too much . And it still early , Akash had just met Kh.." His brother in law didn't quite finish the sentence before the object of their conversation walked inside as he starred back at the spy yet again crashing into another office .

        Khushi was nervous because every day she noticed how close her sister got to Arnav ,she had been waiting for her sister to see the angry man she met in the office but so far he had been only to kind and soft spoken to her that she sometimes feel like they were two different person .

            And while her parents were bit disappointed that she and Akash didn't get along ,they were happy for payal di and it was because of that she needs to ensure her inheritance doesn't get in the way the second time.

            Somehow she felt it was important to lose her inheritance before it becomes an hindrance for her sister marriage for the second time, as she made her way into the lawyer office . She learnt from the receptionist he had no appointment today that she can just walk inside

          But when she stepped inside ,there was already a man in suit that she was about to apologize and leave until she noticed the familiarity of the coat then the face as she noticed it wasn't Arnav but Akash ,her date .

      The fact ,both of the cousins had similar coat didn't surprise her as they tend to own a fashion industry but Akash presence in the lawyer office made her worry as she realized it was too much of a coincidences.

     As the only person who knew about her inheritance client happens to be Akash Raizada ,her surprise blind date last week . It was may be why she stood watching both of them with her mouth open for full minute before regaining her composure and anger

      " Don't tell me ,you have taken to spying as hobby " he was the first to speak up making her anger bubble up more than before.

        " Do you take me as a fool, Mr Raizada. Why can't you people for once try to be truthful and how dare you play with my sister heart as if the alliance was  meant for her first when all along you were toying with her feelings . 

        And You Mr Shyamji, how can you call yourself a lawyer when you can't keep client confidential information safe . "Khushi spoke up refusing to let herself tear up in front of the monsters , the knowledge she had to be the one who have to tell her sister the truth was heart wrenching .

           Yet again because of khushi ,her sister will pay the price but it was better she found out sooner because Khushi can't imagine what will happen if things went further and alliance was fixed between them first .

            " Do you know each other " Akash asked them trying to play the innocent when it was already too late ,only the lawyer had the sense to keep quiet .

            " Stop playing with our lives, my sister may not be rich but she got the purest of hearts and i will not let you ruin her happiness due to greed ,if you want my inheritance why raise hope in her heart or were you planning on marrying her to your cousin for real just to get my inheritance . " Khushi couldn't keep poking at his chest as she spoke up the last sentence while he grabbed her hand  in anger.

            " What the ..Have you gone mad , I am the richest man in the city and my family will never care about inheritance or dowry like you seem to believe. What are you planning Miss Gupta , but trust me whatever you plan nothing will work out as long as I look out for my family .

           If you think I will let anyone play on my family trust then you are dead wrong " Akash answered back each word filled with anger as if he wasn't the one at fault.

          " If you both argued enough , can  I speak because you may not see since you haven't once stopped to think but I can see you both are under some misunderstanding .

             Miss Khushiji , first let me clarify I would never break my client trust and while I should have connected the dot due to the familiar name but I didn't think it through and assumed there most be few khushi in the city and it couldn't be the same client as mine ,so you see my family never knew about your inheritance until now when you blurted it out to my brother in law " the lawyer spoke up leaving her stunned to realize they were family .

         " Do you expect me to believe that " she asked him next because when it comes to her family,she refuses to trust easily .

          " Of course ,because when my wife and her grandmother came to your offer ,they only wanted to tall about your sister and Arnav marriage alliance not yours it was Mamiji who chose you for Akash " the lawyer didn't finish the sentence before Akash interrupted him

              
             " What are you talking about jiju , Her sister was supposed to be my date not her . " he spoke up confusing her further . It was like you were listening but you can't seem to grasp any of it .

            " But you are Akash  " She spoke up trying to make sense of anything until she saw the disbelief in his face as he starred at her .

            " No ,I am not . My name is Arnav Singh Raizada and people call me ASR " he spoke up a moment later and Khushi legs suddenly felt weak as she realized that the truth behind his words ,the voice was very familiar like she heard the last time .

            Why didn't she notice the voice before until now , he was the angry man she met in the office and suddenly she felt like Alice caught in a rabbit hole . And everything she believed she knew about seem like a lie as she continued to look at the man who was supposed to be Akash but instead Arnav starring at her with the same confusion.
