Chapter 46: Something something

Khushi came in a temple to make a prayer to devimaiyya as today she is going to sign divorce papers and  start her new life with arjun and for that need strength to face that devil. She was waiting for arjun to come and they can do puja together. Panditji briefly narrate her the importance of this havan. This puja will remove all the hurdles of her life and bonded with her life partner for seven lives. Khushi sat in front of holy fire and
Pandit: 'Betiya where is your would be husband? Only 5 minutes left to complete this puja!''

Khushi: ''He is on the way panditji till then you start the havan! she send him text message and instruct to come fast..''

After chanting few mantras, he gave her two raksha dhaga and enquire her to make it wear on each other wrist.

''Where is this arjun..stupid idiot never be on time..'' she mumbled.

Pandit: ''Lijiye yajman aa gaye..'' (He came) Khushi sighed and closed her eyes while he took a seat beside her. Panditji put tikka on his forehead.

''Now you wore this thread on his wrist..'' An unknown fear lurking in her mind. Did she ever be a good wife of arjun? Her hand was shivering while tied knot. It is not an easy to forget all the memories of her arnav and move on. Well, if she look back in her past she decipher one thing that arjun always being a faithful and loyal friend, who always support her in every think and thin and cheer her up whenever she feels low. Even though She lost many relations but found a true friend like Arjun. He loved her wholeheartedly and never ask anything in return. By knowing she still somehow feel connection with arnav, he  never show any sign of sting as he respect her more than his love for her. They why she can't able to love him back? No khushi..you can't do this to arjun..you have to forget Arnav and accept arjun as your life partner after-all he also deserve happiness. Its her destiny that brought her here to change her life permanently.

Today is the day when she met Arnav singh raizada for the very first time in his office and on the same day she is going destroy his bitter memories forever and begin her new life.

Arnav only gave sorrow and pain and broke her every dream she always bestowed. He don't deserve your love khushi...he don't deserve you. You have to do it! She gathered strength closing her eyes shut and raised her hand to make him wear  thread and he do the same in return. All the time she had her eyes down and not once grabbed courage to look into his eyes. She was lost in fighting with her innerself totally oblivious that a pair of eyes was watching her.

Pandit: ''Ab yeh puja sampan hui..ab aap dono saath janmon ke liye band chuke hain..'' (Havan came to an end now you both are bonded together for seven lives.)

Arnav: ''Thank you panditji..''

She get stunned as soon as his voice echoed her eardrum. Ground slipped from her feet the moment she turn her gaze.

Khushi: ''Tum?''

Arnav: ''Haan main!'' (Yes! It's me) He whispered huskily. He took her hand and kissed it tenderly. Khushi was constantly glaring him still in shocked to react. She can't believe she did puja with arnav not arjun.

Don't look at me like this otherwise you will fall in love with me once again..'' His lips curved into sarcastic smile and got up furiously.

Khushi(Almost shouting): ''Are you mad..what you doing here? This puja supposed to be done by arjun with me not you..'' She hold her head frustratingly.

Arnav: ''Ohh..i m sorry I didn't knew that..'' He made an innocent face.

Khushi: ''Don't act smart..I knew you did it intentionally..why you doing this!'' He didn't say anything in reply instead lifted his hand to touch her cheeks and rubbed his thumb on her cheeks seductively. She felt breathless.

Arnav: ''You already knew main aisa kyu kar raha hu..'' he stated in a deep masculine tone. She immediately made a stern face and pushed his hand away. Ignoring him, she went toward stairs to make a call to arjun but been taken away from arnav.

''No use..he won't reach on time as I..'' she narrowed her eyes. She found something in his eyes that was unpleasant.

Arnav: You what? What you did with him? Answer me! She pulled his collar raggedly.  I'm asking you something Mr Raizada..where is he?

Her jaw was clenched and by each passing second she was loosing her patience. Twisting her arm behind her back, he pulled her closer. He bragged her in a bear hug making her anger even more and she pushed him off.

Khushi: ''Stay in your limit..you lost all the rights to touch me.tell me what you did with arjun..''

Arnav: ''Don't worry your friend is safe but till how long I'm not sure! So better drop the idea of this marriage because you are only mine..'' His tone was firm and authoritative.

Khushi: ''You think by doing all this you win me..?''

Arnav: ''I already win your heart..'' She fumed in vengeance but did not say anything. Her eyes were filled with hatred and agony. She turned to move when he held her hand.
YOu will not marry him..he said with finality.

Khushi: ''Excuse me? Who are you to decide? I will marry him and right within 15 days..''

Arnav: ''No! he roared and grabbed her arms. I will not allow that..''

''I m YOUR HUSBAND!'' She raised her eyebrow in astonishment.

Khushi: ''Ex husband...I already sign divorce papers.'' She reminded him and he look away with clenched fist.

Arnav: ''You love me I know that how can you marry someone-else..'' Finally she took a determined breathe and turned toward him.

Khushi: ''A person who insult my character and love..i have nothing to do with him..now arjun is the owner of my heart and soul not you so better stay out of it..you meant nothig to me.. nothing.'' She lashed out arrogantly and immediately ran out the stairs. She was glad that she has been able to control herself on time. 

Once Arnav singh raizada was determined of something, there is no stopping back. He saw her out the mandir in arjun's arms who was caressing her back. His blood boil by the scene carried out. How dare he touch my khushi! It is something more painful. I won't allow her! He admit he did lot of mistakes in his past that is amendable. She cause her lot of pain physically and emo is still in pain and he cause her pain..i gave her pain and only I have that right to heal it. How can she belong to someone else. Her body..her soul..her mind..everything belong to me..you are mine khushi..only mine and you will be with me..i will make sure of that.

Arjun: ''Khushi relax..stop crying!'' He console her and his eyes fixed on arnav who was eyeing at them from a distance like he is going to burn him.

It is not difficult to guess what had happened that made her cry. He always hurt her but not anymore. Khushi deserve happiness and I gave her all the love she always dreamed.
Khushi returned home with highly pissed off mood. Whole journey she didn't talk with arjun. Whenever she thought she fully prepared herself to move on and took a step toward arjun, arnav came in front of her and it unwillingly weaken her heart.  She directly ran inside without uttering any word and arjun followed her.
Khushi.i m sorry please talk to me yaar..you knew I can't see you like that..'' She waved her hand off and pushed him away. Her temper flaring remembering how arnav sit in place of arjun and spoil her havan.
''Khushi I..'' been interrupted.
Khushi: ''Shut your mouth..go away I m in no mood to talk..''
Arjun: ''My car was punctured and I..''
Khushi: ''I don't need any justification..Why you didn't come at mandir..that arna..leave it-' She took an exasperated sigh and turned her face aside disappointed. With sad face, he left her room.
Aditi(while holding his hand): ''Arjun you okay?'' He was walking out of entrace absent minded. She jerk him few times before bringing back to senses. He looked her sadly and hugged her.
Arjun: I hurt her..i really don't knew how this happens..i swear aditi..trust me..'' She touched his cheeks.
Aditi: ''I trust you arjun..don't worry she will be alright..'' He nodded weakly and looked at her.
Now smile? For me..please!
Arjun: ''You are the best aditi..i really like you..'' he kissed her cheeks sweetly and moved off . Her cheeks get crimson. She touched it slowly.
''And I love you..''

Next day, arnav was sitting in a poolside staring at divorce papers for longer time. Anjali get stunned when she seen he signed those papers. She tried to show her protest many times but he didn't listen and send it to khushi. On the other hand, khushi felt shocked as well as surprised. She hadn't expected he will agree for their divorce so easily. A loe tear escape from her eyes. Deep down she was hurt but shrugged all those forbidden thoughts and tried to divert her mind from arnav but unable to do so. Few days passed but there was no sign of arnav. Khushi was restless as he didn't pester her. Can't able to hold herself, she went to AR office.
Arnav was silently observing her sitting in his cabin. He saw her coming and a smile spread across his lips. khushi placed sweets into his desk. She wanted to say something but keep on hesitating.
Arnav: You want to say something..my not so cool EX WIFE. He say in a usual husky voice. Her eyes popped out by his tone.
Khushi: Uhh yes Mr raizada since we are now officially divorced..i wanted to give first invitation of my wedding to you that is going to take place within few days. She said out in one go taking a sharp breathe.
Arnav: ''Oh wow..you are getting married..congratulations!'' She looked at him like he said something wrong. How could he behave so normally. Doesn't it matter to him?
Khushi: ''So you are happy?'' She asked unsure of his intentions.
Arnav: ''Ofcourse..why I shouldn't?'' He concluded. Just few days back he said that he loved me but now behaving as if he is waiting for this moment so eagerly. He is so unpredictable!
''Fine..'' Her eyes were splitting fire. Khushi didn't say anything for something just keep staring him. But he gave no attention to her and began making calls. It really irked her. There is no use of arguing him now.
Khushi: ''I want one favor as I m getting married its my wish you would give my hand to arjun in alter..''
Arnav: ''Sure khushi..its my honor to do that..'' She felt strange getting cold shower from him but a part of her was happy he was not pestering her anymore.
Khushi: ''Are you alright?'' She asked again and again and he raised his eyebrow in a flirty way. He looked at him with hope to hear something good. Unknowingly she held her breathe.
Arnav: Yes..khushi'' he said with his eyes glued on his laptop. She sighed disappointingly and dismissed from his cabin angrily.

The moment she left his cabin, he looked up and saw her disappearing figure drowning.
Khushi From now I won't hassle you..you will come to me with all your love and heart. He closed his eyes in satisfaction. Love can change impossible things into possible. He have decided to love her senselessly and endlessly in every term but his way was different. There was a sincere smile and affection on his face.

Few days passed but nothing changed between arjun and khushi. Khushi was immersed in the thought of what happened in mandir and how panditji gave arnav and her blessing of seven lives together. Arjun tried all possible way to made her smile but she sit quietly in her room. He was confused by her behaviour. Seeing khushi gloomy face, he get upset and then aditi supported him. She even talk with khushi but of no use. He began pacing in the room and aditi was observing him with folded hands
Arjun: ''Aditi what's wrong with khushi? Did anything happened?
Aditi: ''I really don't know! I think you need to cheer her up!''

Arjun: ''But how?''

Aditi: ''Dumbo..Do something special or her...'' She slapped his head.
Arjun: Special? He scratched his head and then an idea clicked his mind. A hundred watts smile played on his lips.
