Chapter 49: Realization of love

Khushi: ''Thank god nothing happen to you..i got so scared..'' Furiously he turned around and pushed her away.

Arnav: ''What the hell you doing in my house? Did you see the time dammit? But she didn't care all she wanted to see him safe and protected.

Khushi: ''Arnav.. woh..''

Arnav: ''Get the hell out of my sight!'' She opened her mouth to say something but get shifted by his loud voice.

''I said get out!!!!!!!!!!'' He clenched his fist. She finally stop moving ignoring his anger. The thought of him being in danger trembled her. She breathe a sigh of relief and smile in satisfaction. His anger crossed the limits seeing her smiling.

''How dare you khushi kumari gupta..'' he grabbed her arms and dragged him out of pool. He was trying to control his pain. She had no idea what her small words had effect on him. She tried to speak but he turned around and start walking away. She interrupted him coming on his way.

Khushi: ''Hum apko kahi jane nahi denge jab tak aap hum maaf nahi kar dete..'' (I will not allow to go anywhere until and unless you forgive me..)

Arnav: ''Get out of my sight I don't want you to get hurt again so please leave..'' He alerted in an irritated tone.

Khushi: ''Arnav please forgive me I didn't meant what I said..'' he shot an angry glare.

Arnav: ''I said I am not interested..'' he released his hand and make his way out of exit. She hurriedly take the charge and close the door before he move out.

He looked her with red fury eyes.

''What the.. khushi I told you I m not in a mood..leave!!!'' he turned around and began fidgeting his palm. She walked toward him and careless his hand soothingly.

Khushi: ''I got scared when we get close that's why I said all those things but I swear it never came into my mind ever...please arnav ab maan bhi jao..'' She hold her ears apologetically. He felt amazed. She really making him mad. At one time she were supposed to forget him and broke all ties by divorcing him and other time when he was actually making an attempt she came running for his forgiveness.

Khushi: ''I know I have been an idiot to say all those stupid non sense and you are very hurt by that but I promise it will never happen..Arnav I feel my life come to an end if you not talk with me..please please please..'' she keep on blabbering what is coming in her mind. He gazed her and saw a little glint of love in her eyes.

Arnav: ''So you want my apology..'' She nodded with hopefully. He was looking at khushi with dare in his eyes.

''Toh Kya kar sakhti ho mere liye?'' (What are you capable to do?..) His voice went horse. He approaches her while moving toward her and she began moving back. The cold breeze was ruling the atmosphere of the large room. She held a breathe and both of them do not say a word for sometime. Getting no space behind, she been locked in between walls and him.

Khushi: ''Anything..'' her voice was trembling by his changed gesture. He lean forward and pulled her in his arms.

Arnav: ''Sochlo..kuch bhi mang sakhta hu..kuch aisa jo shayad tum de na pao..'' (Think again..i can ask anything something which you were unable to give..'') She carried her gaze and looked into his pair of eyes unsure of his intentions. Her entire body was shaking by the way his intense gaze was getting dark and waited for him eagerly to say. Momentarily, he utter something into her ears making her eyes widen and mouth dropped hysterically.

Arjun was lying in the bed with his head moving left and right. A blur images of a girl in red saree came before his eyes.

"You are looking beautiful in this saree..''

" I love you..''

"Don't leave me alone..''

Those words were echoing in his ear constantly. He was just about to see the face of the girl in red saree but then everything went blank. He got up with a thud and look everywhere with his face sweating badly.

Gosh..what was that..? He clutched his head and trying to remember. A throbbing pain making it difficult to catch the blur images that is haunting him.

Who was she? And why I'm getting such dreams repeatedly? He lost the count now. Every night he is getting the same nightmare. A girl in red saree and a guy proposing her. He can't remember who were they and how does it connected to him. Several questions crossing his mind and confusing him but getting into conclusion none. Initially he thought it was just a dream but now he is feeling little weird and unusual by getting the same flashback . He never used to get such dreams before then why now so suddenly? He cannot fathom what is actually happening. He was feeling like a big part of life is missing but what was that? He took a step back and ran a frustrated hand through his hairs. All he wanted is to join the dots and only one person who could help him in that.

Aditi was packing her clothes absentminded when she got a call from arjun. She look at the clock before receiving it.

Aditi: ''You are still awake..'' She asked surprisingly.

Arjun: ''I wanted to meet you urgently..?" She could sense tension in his voice.

Aditi: ''What's wrong Arjun..you seems tensed?" He hold his head and began walking in the room not sure about his doubts.

Arjun: ''Please meet me as early as possible I will brief you everything..'' he concluded

Aditi: ''Calm down first and..'' Been interrupted.

Arjun: ''Its too late now meet me tomorrow at cafeteria..its quite important..'' The call has been ended by his end.

She stare at the floor wondering about her life without arjun. Tears rolling down her eyes and closed her vacant eyes.

What you have done to your life Aditi.. How long you were going to run away from truth..Why you don't gather strength and spoke to him. Suddenly she opened her eyes and shake her head in no.

I can't be so selfish..he will hate me if he learn he spent night with me..i couldn't see hatred in his eyes..I had made right decision to leave him and now I won't be weaken..Dhruv bhai is coming back tomorrow from his tour to fix khushi marriage date and then I don't need to stay in this house..everything get back to normal once I go back to were I belong ..but what about arjun? How he will react when he came to know I left the city? She arched.

I'm the biggest curse of everyone life. Because of my bad fate I lost karan but this will never happen with Arjun...he will only get his love once I close my chapter from his life..'' She made up her mind and waiting for next day when she is going to see love of her life for a very last time. She longed for the love of the person who heart won't acknowledge her. The pain pieced her soul and settled inside her.

''Is it over?'' Arnav voiced her with curiousness. Khushi drew a sharp breathe before coming out from bathroom. Finally it become difficult to breathe knowing that he must be waiting for her. She closed her eyes once she reached him. Arnav was sitting near the pool, gazing at the stars with his arms crossed when his eyes fell upon her. She had her hair open and wearing a knee length dress which he asked her to wear as compensation. She was hot for him and unable to look into those brown eyes. He can't believe she actually agreed to wear the same starpless dress which he demanded 2 years earlier during their photo shoot. That time she denied and awaken the devil inside him by wearing a saree. The flashes of the past came before his eyes. He wanted to punch himself for making her go through so much in past. He know what is going in her mind. He vowed to himself that he will make her feel cherished and replace that memories with fresh one. Khushi looked up with fear gripping her face and surprised to see different emotions emitting into his eyes.

She had her one hand on her shoulder to cover her exposed part that hardly covering her chest while with other hand, she is making an effort to cover her long milky legs which is not reaching her thighs. By sensing her nervousness, he rose from his place and hugged her in assurance. Hesitantly her hand reached his shoulder and she spoke looking deeply into his eyes.

''Arnav ab toh apne hum maaf kar diya nah..'' (did you fotive me?) he barely able to node. It takes so much trust to give your being into someone hand and she had always given that trust. He can feels her awkwardness and discomfort being in this dress. However he lets go off her and gesture her to change. He don't wanted to impose things which she not wanted to do.

''Thank you..'' She managed to say by giving him single glance and turned to walk. She had barely taken her foot and tripped by loosening her balance.

''Careful..'' He catches her before her figure collapse the ground and both fell down on the pool in one swift motion. Khushi held his neck for support. Both were floating in water being completely drenched. They were looking into each other eyes all lost. She get recovered looking at their positions and moved an inch to create a distance. Their close proximity stirring something inside her. Her wet lips were quivering. He feel an urge to taste those lips but anyhow control his desire of doing something beyond that may hurt her. He look aside to divert his mind as she was looking breath-taking in an attire, totally oblivious her state is same like him.

On reaching the side of pool, He remove his shirt and took it off as it get completely fall out of its place on reaching the corner of the pool. Her lips went dry. She feel heat building by merely watching him. That anticipation and yearning do not let her concentrate on anything. She closed her eyes to block those feelings that is pumping within her heart. Both were trying hard to cope up with the attraction and desire that is drowning them into each other love. She was so lost that she is again going inside the pool. Arnav saw this and went to hold her from slipping. The next moment khushi pushed him into the pool. It was a sight to behold arnav and khushi in the middle of pool with their eyes lock.

Khushi! He shouted and she started giggling and began splashing water toward him. He was trying to be gentleman but she was awakening his wild side.

''Khushi kumari gupta..you are inviting trouble..''

''I guess you are scared Mr raizada...'' She threatened. His face turning serious.

''Arnav singh raizada and scared?'' He gave a sarcastic smile and before she again splash water on his direction, he grabbed her and dumped her on his shoulder.

''What you were doing?'' She was swinging her legs in protest and he placed her wet figure at the corner. She whimpered incoherently by his intense gaze and move her head aside in protest. He had no control on anything when his khushi was near. And then his hands touching her everywhere. Her toes curled. She arched back and scrunched her dress. He cupped her cheeks and gesture her to look into his eyes. She gasp feeling his lips upon her. He was naked from up and the feel of khushi body was incredible. She moaned when his lips discovering hers. She slanted her head and kissed him with equal flavour. His mouth move down and he began sucking the water droplets from her delicious skin. He pulled her more closer in an attempt to feel her more.

Damn nothing was in control. His tongue stoke her and she was on fire. Her entire body was shivering and the look into his eyes making her blush furiously.

''Am I hurting?'' He asked worried and lets go off her. He got blanket from behind to cover herself. She pouted her lips in disappointment as he left her and he smirked. She wanted him in the same way he does but stubborn enough to not accept those feelings. He sighed relieved as he was finally successful in erasing that scene out of her mind and making her happy.

''Lets change then I will drop you home..'' he said looking away and about to go when she held his hand.

''Arnav why you still keeping this dress when you know I..I..'' he didn't say a word and avoid looking into her eyes. She held his face and raised his chin to look at me.

''I want to ask you something..'' he glance her and she paused. She need lot courage to ask this question.

''Last time when you..i mean when yo..u fo--rce..d me does it meant anything for you..she was reluctant. He closed his eyes briefly

''Yes...after you I never been in relation with any girl..'' Then there was a pain. This time he didn't hide emotion from her. She look into his genuine eyes and feel to melt into his raw arms but anyhow control herself from falling for the same man once again.

''Lets go..'' his voice was thick and throat heavy. Pain shoot through him and she wanted to hold him from breaking. He immediately turned around knowing well where it was leading. Everything was fresh in his memory. But then he fell for her. He couldn't stop himself from loving her. He didn't realize when that attraction turn deadly and he started loving her madly but it would be too late to reciprocate those feelings. She divorced him.

On the way toward home, both didn't exchange a word and keep on stealing glances. Meanwhile his car halted in front of her gate. Khushi glance him once before moving out of his car but his voice stopped her rooted.

''I think its high time to make wise decision miss gupta...It would be better we should not meet again as you and arjun getting married..consider it as my last good bye to you...I wish you good luck for your future..'' he finish it off without looking at her and drove off quickly without giving her chance to speak.

Ground slipped from her feet once she comprehend the meaning of those words. She feels her heart sank. They both fell for each other against all odds yet they discover the meaning of love. But today everything is over. The thought of him no-more in her life itself swallowed something deep inside her. A lone tear escapes from her cheeks and she pushed it off hurtful before walking inside.

Dhruv directly went to meet anjali after returning from his tour to sidney. Anjali was pleasantly surprised seeing him after ages. In evening, she took him out for shopping to spend some quality time together. She was selecting a saree in a shop and he was helping her when he got a call. His expression turns stern and he excuses himself hurriedly.

Dhruv: ''What you want now..stop calling me..'' he was irritant. Anjali glance at dhruv face turning serious and tensed. She felt something odd and he passes a smile while glancing at anjali from a distance. Anjali seems very happy greeting dhruv after his long trip to Sidney. He continue talking in phone unaware to that, her eyes were only on him.

Person: ''Because I wanted to meet you..its very important for us to interact..try an understand..''

Dhruv: ''Shut up... I don't wish to see your face...i m warning you last time stay away from me and my family..'' he gave final warning.

Person: ''If you don't meet me then I...'' Anjali voice from behind stumble him and he instantly hung it off. She noticed his face turning pale suddenly. She touched his cheeks but he avoided eye contact.

Anjali: ''What happened dhruv..you okay? He tried to act normal and smile kissing her hand.

Dhruv: ''Nothing jaan..let's go..'' Anjali can feel something odd by his behavior but then she waved those thought off her mind knowing well he could never do that. She trust him wholeheartedly and had a strong faith on his love.

In cafeteria:

Aditi was tongue tied. She don't know what to say and how to solve his queries without letting any doubt in his mind.

Arjun: ''Aditi..i have a feeling those dreams was probably connected to that party and that saree..i should go to that place again and found out what's the matter why i'm getting those blurr flashback..why i can't remember anything..'' Aditi takes a deep breathe and gulped in fear.

Aditi: ''You are over reacting arjun..stop stressing your brain and relax!'' She said clutching the side of her dupatta.

Arjun: ''I will go mad..i think I need to consult doctor..'' He closed his eyes and got some flashes of the night.

''One second..that saree was the same which I gifted khushi right?'' Fear began gripping her. She prayed to god to not let him remember the night.

Arjun: ''Aditi? Her eyes were so familiar..i feel like I have seen those eyes very closely and..'' The way he is regaining the memories, she was finding difficult to breathe.

Aditi: ''I have a work..will meet you later..'' She immediately rushed it out and made her way out of the premise. The way arjun was getting those flashes it would be risky to stay here anymore so she decided to take the root toward railways station from where she could leave the city but he followed her behind and insisted her to come along with him. She tried to refuse but he doesn't give ear to her and drop her at her place. After that day she made several attempts to ran away from home but everytime either arjun or khushi were around and she doesn't get chance to go out of home. She even started ignoring arjun calls. Upon that arjun meeting with khushi tormenting her. She was unable to bear the sight of him with someone else. It pricking her like hell and eating her up from inside.

Next few days went smoothly. Khushi doesn't talk much with anyone and prefer to stay aloof. She lay lifeless on the bed like something inside her was missing. Her vacant eyes were lost in those memories which she spend with a man that taken her breathe away. Few days rolled and she followed the routine lifelessly. Deep down she had a hope probably he would make a call but nothing came. She was waiting to get normal again by being with arjun but she couldn't do it. When it became impossible to hold, she went to meet him in office and doesn't found him. In-fact nobody knows where is he. Days turns into month but their is no sign of arnav. Her restlessness and helplessness taken different route. She was waiting for his call or any sign of him but there was nothing. So many tears rolled down her cheeks and she angrily brushed it off. He always hurt her by his actions but this time he had cross the limits. A gaping hole began to form in her heart.

''I did right thing by leaving him..he deserve it..he bloody deserve it..'' She tried to convince herself but failed to do so. She hated herself for missing him so badly. They had share a special moment together and if he wanted he could do anything in poolside but he didn't cross the boundry. After their last meeting, she started falling him more and more but couldn't accept the fact that she had fallen for the man who broken her heart so brutally.

I need you..i want to talk to you..'' She stood up in determination and decided to confront him. Hurriedly she got ready and started running out of the room. Dhruv call her but she didn't stop and walk out.

He felt bad by the way her life is leading. He need to do something before she ruin her life by her own hand. He look at the photo of his parents and remember how he took promise to always keep her happy. Taking out mobile, he make a call to someone as he realize what his next step could be.

Khushi went in search of Arnav. She locate all possible places where she could get him but found him nowhere. Upon that there was no use of asking aman so she went to follow him. As expected he was right in front of her talking with aman, standing in a secluded place. Arnav catch her spying and commanded aman to leave. He ignore her deliberately and smile inwardly making her restless by his behavior and as expected she came running behind him. He walked toward his SUV avoiding her and she followed him behind. He ignore eye contact as if she is non exist-able that really irked her. She went on rage and grabbed his collar.

Khushi: ''Don't you dare Arnav singh raizada..''

Arnav: ''Who are you? Do I recognize you?'' She open her mouth wide and saw him moving inside the car. She pinned him against his car and grabbed his neck furiously.

Khushi: ''I will gave you hard slap then you will remember who I am..'' She shoot an angry glare.

Arnav: ''Excuse me..do you know to whom you talking..slapping Arnav singh raizada could be dangerous for your health..'' She look on sad by the way he was treating her like a stranger. He lets go off her hand and stepped back. But she was adamant and touch his face lovingly.

Khushi: ''Arnav why you doing this to me.. you can't leave me like this...I...I..'' She began stammering.

Arnav: ''I what khushi...'' He came really close. You don't feel anything for me so just get out of my life..i don't want to see your face..'' she look on hurt and he turned to leave but then she stopped him and began pushing him against his chest out of frustration.

Khushi: ''Mujhe farak padta because I can't live without you..dare to leave me again..you have any idea how much I got scared by your disappearance...i love you a lot..i love you and always do..samjhe tum Mr raizada..i lied to you that you meant nothing to you..you are everything to me and I wanted to stay with you with my whole life...'' She said in between her tears. He pulled her hand behind her back that was pushing him and stared at her unbelieving.

Arnav: ''Phir se kaho?'' (Say again) She breathe deeply and smile signaling him it's true. He enclosed his arms intently and she jumped to gave him a hot hug. He stepped back by the pull and a wide smile spread across his lips.

Khushi: ''I love you arnav I really really love you..will you be mine for entire life..i wanted to stay with you forever being yours..only yours..will you marry me?..'' She confessed softly.

Arnav(With narrowed eyes): ''What?'' He broke off and look on perplexed like he heard something wrong.

Khushi: ''Yes Mr Arnav singh raizada you heard it right I want to marry you..i wanted you..i need you dammit..'' He smiled wondering finally he got successful in wining her heart and she look at him with adorable eyes. He feels like he could die out of happiness. It was like dream that is coming true. Crazily, he kissed her face and she return the flavor. He began feeling emotional by the love he was receiving He lifted her into his arms and began walking toward their destination.

Khushi: ''Arnav where you taking me?''

Arnav: ''I don't want this night to come an end and wanted to cherish this moment entire life..do you trust me?..'' She nodded shyly and both were lost into each other.
