Chapter 36: Punishment

Curdling into each other arms, both are lying into each other arms feeling the new sensation blooming between them. There was a hot biting..kissing and licking. His intense gaze creating butterflies on her stomach and upon that her upper milky skin that is exposed to his naked eyes creating havoc upon her senses. She covered herself crossing her arms around her revealed part that is giving clear view of her cleavage. He removed her hand and began kissing her neck passionately. She felt a wave of pleasure all over her body and her hand started moving over his back slowly. She was ready to give him her everything and this time willing with no regret and cling in her heart. There is only love..intense love between them.

Giving her some aggressive bites on her neck, he licked her and stopped. Coming back, he looking at her eyes for approval and saw his lady love waiting to be loved. Smacking her lips he placed countless kisses as if it was the first time he was relishing her or he could believe his luck she had given in. Rolling her underneath him, he rubbed her lips against his hungry and hot lips and he continued with the kiss. Khushi clutches him tightly and pulled closed to her pressing him against her more and more. They could feel each other body parts. He gently began parting her lips till both were giving each other open mouth kisses. His hand moved southward and he began touching her at the unknown places. His exploration left her breathless. He lifted his head to see if she is okay. Their eyes met and all the discomfort instantly vanished. At the moment they were totally lost control and deeply experienced the newly fond love. Both breathless yet exited of what was occurring.

Once the blouse was undone, he moved her hair at the front and rubbed her back with his rough hands. His exited hand roam around her bare back making her clutched him tightly. Bending slightly he smoothed her with kisses and sucked her lightly. Not being able to endure his touch, she grabbed him and moved him up into her arms and kissed him all over his taut chest. His lips reached toward her cleavage and were about the taste the same when he heard her saying.

''Arnav..i love you..this feels so right..'' she moaned in pleasure. Arnav got the flashback of that dreadful night when he taken her everything without her will. Her pain, tears and begging still echoing in his mind and he couldn't shake it off. She pleaded him to stopped his cruelty but he didn't give any heed to her and aggressively raped her without caring about her pain and suffering. He wanted to kill him doing all this with an innocent angel and once again he is repeating the same action. Painful tears blur his view. He still laid on the floor and she was clinging to him. He looked at her disheveled condition who has her eyes closed and pulling him nearer. He abruptly stopped her and got up leaving khushi looking on.

Khushi: ''Arnav what happen?'' She asked tenderly enclosing her arms. He clenched his fist cursing himself.

Arnav: ''Nothing!'' He answered quickly looking on guiltily.

Khushi: ''So come on then..make me yours..'' she kissed his cheeks seductively and touched his arms.

Arnav: ''No ! I can't..'' He got off from her. Getting up, she straightened her choli that fall from its place.

Khushi: ''What's wrong with you..we are husband and wife and most importantly we love each other then why we cannot take our relationship further..'' He remain numb and looked away feeling distraught. She cupped his face lovingly and he carried his eyelids reluctantly. There is pain in his eyes.

Khushi: ''Arnav..what is bothering you..tell me?'' She asked sweetly inching closer but he instantly moved back due to her proximity and began buttoning his shirt. There is a frustration in his way.

Arnav: ''Don't come near me..'' He said bitterly controlling his turmoil.

Khushi: ''But why? I thought we both want this..didn't we?''

Arnav: ''No khushi...i deserve to be punished after what I done with you..i ruined your life and humiliate you in every step.. how could you allow me to use you again..i treated you so bad..i deserve your hatred not love..'' She got up from the floor and come near him.

Khushi: ''Arnav you can never use me..i forgive you.. your love wins over my hatred and I..''

Arnav: ''Don't say a word again..you are mistaking our attraction..its not love but lust..'' Her eyes moistened by his words. How could he named their love as lust after what they share together.

Khushi: ''Arnav?'' She put her hand on his shoulder but he angrily grabbed her.

Arnav: ''Why don't you understand..i don't want anything neither I wanted to see you again..our contract going to end within 2 days and after that everything is over!!'' Tears started flowing down her cheeks feeling dejected.

Khushi: ''So you don't want me in your life?'' She asked hurtfully.

Arnav: ''Khushi you deserve someone who love you not a monster like me..we can never become one''

Khushi: ''I don't want anyone other than you..you are my husband and if you cannot be mine I prayed god to embrace me death..i can't live without you..i love you arnav..i love you..''

Arnav: ''Don't be a emotional fool..i am a criminal..i raped you.. disgrace you.. snatched your love..proved you characterless..what more proof you needed..? I deserve severe punishment.. pain..tears.. everything..''

Grabbing his collar, she yelled furiously

Khushi: ''If you cannot accept me then why you married me..why you made me fall for you that it is now impossible for me to see anything other than you..why you again make me believe in love..? I have already seen betrayal in love and this time if you leave me I swear I kill myself..'' He stopped her placing his finger on her lips. She looked at him with tears flowing from her eyes. Her husband rejecting her and for what..a crime she already forgiven. She began weeping kneeling down and cried her heart out. He bend down and wiped her tears soothingly.

Arnav: ''Don't cry khushi...you very well knew I cant see tears in your eyes..i always wanted to see you happy and smiling and this will only happen only if you get rid off this nameless marriage..we are not meant to be together..i forced you to be tied with me without your willingness but not anymore..i realize my mistake the night when you told me about your parents..don't make it more difficult to me I'm already burning''. She held his hand urgently. The thought of him leaving her scared her like hell.

Khushi: ''Arnav please! Don't say like that..i can't live without you...you are my everything and now I cannot imagine my life without you..'' she hugged him tightly and began weeping clutching him possessively. He careless her hairs to calm her.

Arnav: ''Try an understand khushi..I am a criminal..i ruined your life and gave you so much pain.. because of me your entire family suffered... Whenever you come near me that night came before my eyes..i have been a ruthless monster..i crushed your innocence under my feet without thinking what I'm doing..Look at yourself how much that night changed you..'' Khushi feel guilty he was still beating himself for what he have done.

Khushi: ''I have forgive you arnav..your love erased my every pain and now that night no more haunt me..i only wanted to be with my husband forever..'' She placed his hand near her heart conveying him how much she loved him but he immediately pulled her back.

Arnav: ''But I haven't forgiven myself..khushi I can't..look how much I damaged you..you did not marry me out of your choice..the convenience of our marriage weakening you..this is not love..you are mistaking our attraction as love..'' Khushi came near him.

Khushi: ''This is not attraction..i truly love you!'' He grabbed her and shook her.

Arnav: ''I don't give a damn about what you feels...can't you see khushi you deserve better..'' Lovingly she touched his cheeks and looked into his eyes.

Khushi: ''But I don't want better..i only want you! We are married now arnav..your my husband and I'm your wife..and we can't change that..'' She argued adamantly.

Arnav: ''I don't want you..I will gave you divorce once anjali and dhruv get married and freed you from this relation that only gave you pain..After that you get married to arjun as per our deal''. She get shaken and agitated but didn't give up.

Khushi: ''I cannot tolerate another man's name joined with mine..you're the only person I loved and you're going to be my last..my anger, pain and bitterness has gone by your love..now I just want my husband back..'' Taking her hand off his face he looked at her angrily.

Arnav: ''Khushi I don't want this..i deserve your hatred..'' Khushi looked on sadly.

Khushi: ''And what about the moments she shared moment before?'' His expression suddenly changed and she noticed he was avoiding his gaze.

Arnav: ''It was a mistake khushi..i swear I didn't mean to hurt you.. don't know how I crossed my limits''. Anger rose upon her. She pushed him away and looked at him with teary eyes. How could he insult their love! She thought he also loved him and now how easily he called it everything they shared as a mistake? He wanted her to married someone else after being divorced...How pathetic!!

Arnav: ''I know you are very hurt by my decision but trust me khushi..Arjun is really a good guy..he will always make you happy..!'' She looked on disbelief and shattered. ''I have searched everything about his background in this duration..Initially I don't like him but slowly I realize how wrong I was! Whatever I am doing only for your secure life...he will always make you happy throughout your life..he became a perfect life partner unlike me..'' She smiled bitterly like he passed a kind of sick joke.

Khushi: ''Thanks for your kindness''. Her face was clearly shown how much hurt and broken she was by his denial. When he want he can keep her and other moment he can pushed me out from his life. She is not a clay or toy when anyone can use her and throw her out like useless stuffs. She is also a human and get hurt. Whenever she thought she got everything she always wished, next moment she lost everything and left with nothing other than pain, grief and sorrow.

Khushi who was still sobbing doesn't look at arnav and started walking out of shed when suddenly arnav hold her hand. She closed her eyes and started struggling to pull her hand from his grip but he tightened his hold and slowly walk toward her. He reached close to her and then his hand touched her bare shoulder. She flinched by his touch. He looked guilty seeing love bites on her arms. Taking a deep breathe, he raised his hand and started tying the dori of her blouse. Khushi clenched her fist and turned to face arnav. Her eyes fuming in anger. Without exchanging a single word, he took dupatta from the floor and covered her around her neck honorably. She looked into his eyes and then at the floor which is filled with grass and remembered their make out. Her jewelry were lying scattered. The night that was meant to be filled with passion turned into nightmare. She cannot hold back her sob anymore and instantly ran out. He tried to stopped her but she went out without giving him single glance.

Arnav stood near the door and pondered if he have done the right thing.

''My punishment is to stay away from the person to whom I love more than my life and to see her belonging to someone else then only the burden within my heart get lessen and my sins get rectified..'' He gasped painfully coming to an conclusion. Just then he heard a loud noise. He get shuddered with horror and immediately followed her.

Khushi!!!!! His eyes grew widen when he saw a man pointing gun toward her while she was walking aimlessly oblivious someone triggering her. Arnav was terrified till death. Panic filled him as he realized what is going to happen.

No! he shouted, His yelling voice brought her back into senses and she saw him running toward her. Next moment she heard a gun fire and before she could do anything, she was covered with blood.
