Chapter 47: Party night

Khushi was looking outside the window standing in a corner. She knot her eyelids to suppress all those forbidden thoughts that is tormenting her and made her feel connected with Arnav like anything. She began going through all her past experience. She opened her eyes in an instant and jerk all those memories out of her mind.

''Damn you what do you want? Why I'm giving so much importance to him? I should not think about him. I hate him..i hate him a lot. Why you can't leave me alone? I wanted to move on and I will prove you ki mujhe koi farak nahi padhta. We are legally divorced. Finally finally you freed me from that unused relation. I should be happy not sad.Today is the happiest day of my life and and now its time to look ahead and celebrate..''

She gulp hard and heave a content sigh of relief. Her smile faded instantly by comprehending how rudely she treated with Arjun. She always been so mean to him and never took him for granted. She ran a frustrated hand through her hairs.

''Its all because of you Mr Raizada..'' She began fidgeting in her grip and pacing to control her inner turmoil. She slowly turned her face and found Arjun staring her. He was slowly walking toward her room fear of her reaction. Arjun noticed she was in trace. He wasn't sure how she would react seeing his face. He wasn't able to think anything-else so he decided to try this out. He just wishes to bring a smile on her beautiful face. She froze and guiltily hold her ear for apology.

Arjun: ''Khushi are you alright?'' He remove her hand that is holding her ear and touched her cheeks lovingly. She immediately moved a step behind nodding her head. Looking back, she was finding words to speak. Guiltiness visible through her expression.

Khushi: ''Uh..woh mai..n..I m sorry arjun..I..'' Her words being stuck in her mouth when she felt his finger touched her lips. His closeness was quite alien to her.

Arjun: ''You don't need to..i can understand you are upset and what is the reason of it..'' She raised her eyebrow.

''Arnav is the main reason..right? You indeed loved him a lot and-''

Khushi(Been interrupted): ''Please arjun don't took his name..'' She worn sharply and turned around with her back facing him. ''Arnav is my past and you are my present..'' She instantly stated without any regret.

He came forward and gave her a back hug. She tightened her grip in a close fist. He broke off and cheerfully replied.

Arjun: ''Okay my would be wife..from now onwards we would only talk about our present and beautiful future that is eagerly waiting for both of us..''  She was struggling with her mind and heart and came to only one conclusion that she should gave one chance to arjun. He love me deep from his heart without any expectation and deserve all happiness in his life then why it is so difficult to accept him.

Khushi: ''I will do everything to make our relation work..'' He get pleased.

Arjun: ''Thanks..'' He replied shortly with a cheerful voice.

''Khushi I can't tell you how much I m happy today..you made my day and I wanted to make this night memorable for both of us. She turned and looked at him trying to register what does he meant. He hold her hand and look into her eyes.

Arjun: ''We are going to start our new life together and I wanted to start afresh..'' He kneel down in front of her and hold her hand intently.

''Will you be my date for tonight?''

Khushi: ''What you are upto now..'' she question looking at the mischievous grin on his face.

Arjun: ''Something you have never imagined. I promised..i would make this night most wonderful and delightful that you never forget in entire life.

Khushi: ''But..''

Arjun: ''No excuses.. I will pick you up at sharp 9 PM..be ready on time and wear this outfit..i specially design for you..'' He handed her a box before moving out.  Before she should react anything, he already dashed in a express speed.

Mad..! She got pleasantly surprised while opening the box and saw an elegant black saree. Looking at the saree color, she got the flashes of that day when arnav gifted her saree of his fav color.

''Khushi stop it!!!'' Hey devimaiya what that laadgovernor had effect on me? Every little things keep reminding about him. Why do every-time I let him win? Not this time..i will not think about him...I will not think about him..'' She repeated to herself and felt better after long time of consolation. She was just going to smile broadly when her mobile rang disturbed her attention.

''My jaan missing me? I'm right there in your heart.. You can't stand a single moment without me haina.. Don't worry i will meet you tonight and gave you lots of kisses and love..yours and only yours Arnav..'' Her eyes popped out reading it.

''How does he know I m thinking about him?'' She look here and there and checked everywhere but there is no one around. She sat frustrated and immediately delete his message.

In evening, arjun came to pick khushi. The moment his eyes fall on her, he got completely mesmerized. He can't believe she was wearing his designer saree. He smiled broadly and saw khushi coming down the stairs with reluctant steps.

Arjun: ''Khushi you looking absolutely stunning..'' He complimented and about to kiss her palm when khushi immediately take her hand back. Aditi feel awkward and dashed inside to hide her sorrow.

''Let's go..''

Khushi: Uhh arjun..shall we take Aditi as well?

Arjun: ''Why? What happened to her?'' He asked totally oblivious what had happened. ''If there is any problem then we can go some other day..''

Khushi: ''No arjun..that's okay. I know you have planned a special date for me but I don't want di to stay alone atleast not for today..Its the same day when karan jiju..i mean his death and unborn...'' Her voice were low and eyes get moistened remembering that horrible day.

''Kash di ke life mein bhi koi tumhare tarha pyaar karnewala aa jaye..'' (I really wished, she always get her true love in her life like you) she prayed.

Sharp at 9 pm, Arjun, khushi and Aditi reached the Olive club where Arjun have arranged big surprise party for khushi.  Aditi was a bit uncomfortable as she not wanted to go but khushi didn't give any heed. Khushi walked inside through the entrance door which is already been opened before her arrival. She was lost in her own thought and get nervous. Did Arnav also invited? No I don't think so.. Arjun knew I don't like his presence. He will not do such mistake which spoil my mood.

Few guest and friend welcomed khushi. After sometimes, Arjun went on the stage and announced about his and khushi wedding which is going to take place next month. Khushi's inner godness glared at her confusedly and terribly shocked. She wanted to question, shout and fight with Arjun but doesn't utter a word after-all sooner or later this phase had to happen and she should accept it. Everyone congratulate them for their upcoming wedding and she passed a weak smile. Arjun took khushi to the dance floor where few couples already swinging  in a soft music.

Aditi who was watching them from a distance gulp few shots of alcohol, the scenario was unbearable to bare. Seeing their coziness, pain course through her body. She doesn't realize how many shots she had taken. Withing couple of moments, she felt dizzy and about to fall when someone balances her and pulled her closer.

On the dance floor-

Khushi: ''What is the need of all this?''

Arjun: ''I arranged everything as per your likes and dislikes. I really hope I doesn't disappoint you..''

Khushi: ''I loved it Arjun.. everything was just perfect..i have no words to express how much i m liking it..''

Arjun: ''Are you upset about my sudden announcement? Date has been fixed by panditji and he informed me yesterday so I thought to surprise you.

Khushi: No not at all..infact I m lucky to got best friend as my life partner..thank you arjun..'' he cheekily smiled.

Arjun: ''I love you...I love you a lot..'' Khushi's face went pale by his sudden confession. He continued and look straight into her eyes who was avoiding her gaze. ''God knows since how long this feeling buried in my heart. you hold a very special space into my life..'' She was tongue tied.
"You don't need to feel guilty for not loving me..you consider me your friend..that's okay for me...my love is enough for both of us... I will always wait for you..always. He twitched her nose cutely. Khushi felt her heart sank out. She was feeling terribly guilty. She don't know if she ever able to love him back or not unaware by the sharp gaze of a person who was watching them boiling in rage. He is none other than Arnav Singh Raizada.

Arnav couldn't hold himself back anymore and stepped on the dance floor to claim his beauty love. His one signal and Dj change the song that made couple to change their partners.
There is complete darkness only a dim light visible that is enough to cover the darkness. Arnav put his arm around her waist and pulled her close in a passionate hug. Before she could register or say anything, he took her soft lips to convey her she only belong to him. She couldn't gather courage to look into his eyes. Her heart felt heavy and this time she was not able to stop her tears. Arnav felt his shirt soaked with tears.

''Khushi..'' He called her worriedly. She pushed him away furiously with all her force and ran out of premise.

Aditi eyes darted on the pair of eyes who was holding her in his arms. She was tried to open her eyes but dizziness overpowered her senses. She could feel someone tracing her skin.

Arj..u..n...I ..lov..e..before she say a word, her hand being twisted behind her back. She hissed.

''You are only mine..'' She carried her eyes hearing the familiar voice and meet his eyes. Her face color changed looking at the person before her eyes.

''Tum...?'' He pushed her tears off her cheeks and pinned her in the nearest wall.

Nk(Holding her hand): ''Aditi..my love..why are you wasting your precious tears for him..he don't deserve you...only I have authority to love you...''

Aditi(Stepping back): ''Don't touch me..What the hell you doing here..get out of my way! She tried to calm her temper but nothing was helping out.

Nk: ''I know you have feelings for Arjun...why you spoiling your life..he will never love you the way I do..''

Aditi: ''Don't you dare take his name from your bloody mouth..you could never understand the purity of my love...yes its true I love him and another reality is that he love khushi and I m ready to sacrifice and be happy seeing them happy together. I love my sister and for her i could do anything..''

Nk: I can't believe this what a fool you are.. can't you see the difference between me and Arjun..he really don't care if you live or die afterall who will love a widow..'' He taunted cunningly. His bitter words felt like a pricking needle but she remain quiet.

''Both are enjoying the party leaving you alone and regarding khushi..she deliberately bring you here to gave you more pain and jealousy...she wanted to prove you how much Arjun adore and respect her and you have no value into his life. firstly she snatched karan and your family and now doing same by connecting with Arjun...''

Aditi: ''Enough!!!!!! Not a word anymore..'' his harsh words tormenting her.

''Listen nk I m warning you one last time, leave me alone..i m drunk but that doesn't mean you could take advantage of it...now get lost!'' She almost yelled.

Nk: ''Not until you understand what you meant for me..'' He grabbed her shoulder in a tight punch. She yelped.

''How could you even imagine to love someone else..you are mine and I-'' Before he complete his statement he saw Arjun walking toward them. He quickly ran away before he noticed him.

Arjun: ''Aditi what's wrong? he cupped her face worried. It didn't took him time to think something had happened by looking at her state. She was unable to stand. He held her by her arms.

She can't hold back her emotions and hugged him tight crying her heart out.

''Relax...don't worry..'' He careless her back and look around to see the person whom she was pointing from behind but he cannot able to see the person. He brought lemon juice to remove her hang over and made her sit securely.

Arjun: ''Who was that?''

Aditi: ''Forget it... I m not feeling well..i want to go home..'' She was feeling saffocating  after meeting Nk and not wished to stay here anymore longer. Avoiding Arjun, she started walking toward entrance.

Arjun: ''Wait you cannot go like this..let me inform khushi first..''

Aditi: Please.. I m not in a mood to argue..let me go..''

Arjun: ''Wait for sometime..for me please..'' He requested and she agreed but in a condition to drop her home after an hour. How could she deny his demand. First time he asked her something if possible she won't think before giving her life for him. He was clueless how much she worshiped him and she wanted to bury her feeling inside her heart forever. She only wanted to see smile on his face.

Arjun: You are the best...I love you so so much..'' He excitedly hugged her, least they knew NK was eyeing them and planning something that is going to change everything.

Nk: ''No aditi...you can't betray me once again..first karan and now this arjun...i can't let anyone come in between you and me..i will make you mine tonight...'' he call waiter and whisper something in his ear before giving him few notes.

Khushi ran outside the club and Arnav followed her. All he could see was hatred just hatred in her eyes. He desired to seen in them was love, immeasurable love, just for him. He had never yearned for anything in his life.

Arnav: ''Just tell me what is bothering you? He asked clutching her shoulder and she was fidgeting in his arms.

Khushi: Shut up..just shut up...you are my problem Mr Raizada..you have no idea how much you hurt me...why can't you let me live in peace? How dare you kiss me and that in front of thousand people. Don't you have shame. After your this act my hatred for you increase tenfold. She pushed him against his chest again and again instead of reacting he smirked amusedly.

Arnav: ''Wait a minute so you have no problem if I kiss you privately..'' his voice turn huskier. He gave his trademark smirk and gripped her waist and pulled her into his arms like she is a delicate doll.

Khushi: ''Chodiye hame..hum kisi aur ki amanat hain...'' (Leave me..i belong to someone else..'')

Arnav: ''So..?'' he entangled her near a canopy and pushed his entire weight on her.

Khushi: ''Aap hame is tarha nahi chu sakhte..chodiye hame varna hum chilayenge..'' ( you cannot touch me like that..get off me otherwise I will shout..''

Arnav: ''I doesn't matter what you think about me or if you forgive me in fact I don't care because I am not going to let you go in any case. I own everything you have..you love..your hatred..your pain..your breathe..every inch of your existence belong to me..'' He said as he placed his lips down her neck. His mouth was placing few hot kisses on her milky skin. She closed her eyes and tried not to feel anything. She wriggle into his arms to freed herself.

''How dare you dance with Arjun..you already know I can't see you with another man..'' There was an pain and intensity in his tone. His tongue reaches her throat and she bite her lips to suppress her moaning voice. His eyes were slightly mad. She lifted her trembling hand to touch his face but then stopped.

Arjun face came in front of her eyes. Anger, confusion, hurt, sorrow all mixed feeling crossing her mind. She look back at his deep eyes and he lean closer more closer that there is no space between them and her next sentence twisted his heart.

Khushi: ''So you once again planning to force me?'' He looked at her in disbelief and took a step back.

''What happen Mr raizada..you are looking like I did any crime saying this?''

Arnav: ''So this is all you think about me?'' His voice was rude now and all the thoughts of wooing her vanished in an instant he heard her. She keep on glancing him and saw him walking away from her.

Arjun and khushi was talking with few clients. They introduce Aditi with their few friends and both were blabbering while slipping juice.  After few slips, arjun receive a call and he excuses himself and went to have a talk.

khushi move forward to bring food for Aditi when leg get imbalanced and she tripped. Her juice fell on Aditi's dress. After exchanging few words, She guided her toward the washroom area. Few moments passed but there is no sign of Aditi and khushi. That's when something caught Arjun's attention and he approaches the person.

Sun rose up high in sky. Arjun opened his eyes and found himself on his apartment. He rubs his eyes lazily and hold his head that is getting heavy. He tried but unable to remember anything. He was confused and sat on the bed but then he felt something strange. He got up in a hurry and found his clothes lying scattered on the ground. He was not wearing anything. His mouth dropped open seeing a girl laying beside him. He slowly looked at her face and got the biggest shock of his life.

What the hell you doing in my house?
