Chapter 16: Jealousy

Arnav was wriggling in the hospital bed thinking about the past events. He wanted to go out from this place as he don't wish khushi to get hurt again by his presence but due to continuous pain and sedative effect he can't able to stood properly. His mind was frequently moving of the thought about nk words to him, 'loved her''!

Did I really have any feeling for her, he shrugged all unwanted thought and console himself not to think in that way..khushi can never be his, she loves Nk and Arnav singh raizada is non-exist-able for her ..she hates him from the bottom of her heart and that is the bitter truth of his life.That when doctor entered in his room and started scanning his reports after checking him.

''So Mr raizada, how you feeling now?'' He looked on disinterested. His mind was only captured by her thoughts. His heart literally swallowed by the thought of loosing her and by seeing bandage it feel that someone pricks thousands needles on his body.

By getting no response from his end, doctor again called him.

Mr raizada, what happen I am asking you something..how you feeling now?

''How is khushi... I mean the girl that is admitted along with me, how is she?'' He asked keenly and doctor smiled by his eagerness.

''Seems like you loved your wife a lot''. Arnav feel awkward but somewhere he feel nice when they recognize them as husband and wife and he don't feel an urge to correct them.

''Your wounds are more deeper than her and if you keep asking question then how you able to meet your wife..don't worry she is absolutely alright just a small cut''. He took deep breathe by knowing she is fine. By injecting him injection, doctor moved out and in some moments arnav goes back to deep slumber.

''Khushi..Khushi.'' he utter her name before dozing off.

Anjali was roaming in the hospital wards searching her brother's room restlessly that's when she collide with someone and was about to fell down when the next person supported her.

''Anjali you here?'' She turned and get surprised by seeing dhruv before her eyes.

Dhruv what you doing here? She asked confusingly.

''Actually Aman informed me that khushi meet with an accident and i...!''

(Cut by her) What are you saying? my brother also get admitted due to accident..don't know what is going on in our lives? My younger brother inform that he is severely injured. She was on the verge of crying and dhruv consoled her.

''How is khushi? Did you meet her?''

''She is alright I was just going to buy some prescribed medicine for her. Anyways..you never tell me that you have a brother? What's his name?''

''I didn't tell because you never ask...My brother is everything to me..i loved him more than anything, his name is arna.---'' she was about to utter his name when nurse barged in and inquire him to brought medicine and doctor is calling him in his cabin. He was about to step ahead when anjali held his hand.

''Don't go..i need you.. my bhaiya is-..''

''Nothing would happen to him..i will be back in some moments''. He kissed her forehead in assurance and nurse lead he towards arnav's cabin. Her heart bleed by seeing him in such drastic condition. On the other hand, dhruv entered khushi ward where doctor are monitoring her and discharge her after seeing the quick improvement in her health.

''Bhaiya, let's go I can't stand this place anymore..i feels suffocating here''. Khushi insisted him and by seeing her sad face, he took her without meeting anjali.

After few days, khushi again join office and behave as if nothing would have happen but somewhat she feel bad because of her, he is still not recovered. But why she is thinking about him..he deserve it even much more than that.

Within few days, doctor have discharged him but he is still very weak and his wound are yet not healed. Day in and out anjali took care of him but he not like a bit. After that dreadful incident he never allow anyone to come near him not even anjali, who is his world but Anjali is stubborn though, she didn't listen to him and stay awake all night and took proper care of him. His heart bleed by seeing so much love for her sister. She worship him like a god but what would happen when she came to know that he is nothing but a beast who had ruined an innocent life. The thought itself shake him. He cannot bear hatred in his anju eyes. A shivered run down his spine by remembering the flashes of that incident which urge him to distance himself from her sister.

*Flashback*

''Dur raho hamse..hamare pas mat ana..'' (Stay away..don't come near me) After that incident, Anjali's condition get deteriorated. She was completely in trauma. That incident overpower her all senses remembering how shamefully shyam tried to forced on her. She clutches herself and lean herself in one corner hugging her knees against her chest. That incident scattered her so badly that she get scared from every single men and saw shyam approaching her in place of anyone whether it is arnav, nk or anyone. Arnav tried to sooth her pain but she get highly frightened and get panic attacks seeing shyam other than him.

Shyam is an obsessed lover of her and followed her since from college days. He proposed her in the new year eve and when she rejected, he get mad and made up his mind to get her anyhow. He keep spying on her without her acknowledgment and when he came to know about her love interest for dhruv, his temper flare. He wanted anjali anyhow if not by her consult then forcefully he would have her and One day while coming back from office, he kidnapped her and tried to raped her. By god grace, arnav reached on time and saved her sister and put him behind the bar.

Arnav left no stone turn to cure her. His words remain glued in her mind and many times she got up getting frightened. Sweat bead form on her forehead. His words keep ringing on her ears.

''I will be back anjali..you cannot be someone else..only I have right to touch you..i will return again in your life very soon and that day no one will be able to save you''!

''Bhaiya--save me--he won't leave me--save me please-- Every single day she got up with a jerk shouting his name. By seeing her condition, his heart stabbed and khushi face came before his eyes. Her grief..her pain..her plead, can't let him to live in peace for a moment..he felt highly angry on himself by crushing her purity. with proper treatment, anjali went out from her fear but after that he maintain distance from her own sister. She get over from that incident but Arnav never able to shrugged anything from his mind and heart.

He came back from his thought by Anjali voice. ''Bhaiya get up..take medicine''! He looked at her painfully realizing how karma had played with her. She would get punishment of his deeds.

''Where are you lost..come on no more stubbornness..I won't listen anything this time'', she handed him a glass of water and gesture him to take it. Getting frustrated and angry, he rejected by her continuous nagging and throw the glass on the floor furiously. she shuddered a bit by seeing his sudden rage. Fresh tears rolled from her eyes when he yelled at her and commanded her to get out.

He feel highly guilty for making her cry and need to relax and work is the only solution which can calm his nerves.

Next morning:

Arnav entered in his office in trembled feet. His condition is still weak and stitches and bands still on his head. Anjali tried to stop him but he didn't gave any damn to her. He keep himself busy and tried to divert his mind but by seeing the scenario in front of his eyes, his blood boiled. One guy is hugging khushi and giving poses for shoot. She seems comfortable around him. He is touching her formally and she don't have any problem with it but who is he? He immediately called Aman in his cabin and shouted at him while he gulped seeing his rage.

Aman what the hell is going on in my office...Without my permission how you select new model? Answer me got dammit. He screamed on top of his voice and his voiced being heard in every corner of the premise. Khushi smirked realizing how her closeness hurt him and that's what she wanted. She wanted to gave him lot of pain and broke him brutally.

''I was just absent for few days and you hired new model..who gave you right to take decision apart from me...answer me got dammit!! He bang the desk furiously which make him shivered. He looked down afraid of his anger who is splitting fire.

''Sir woh..khushi mam...!'' he stammered.

''Khushi mam what? Tell me right now..i want to know..''

''I have approached him''. Both aman and arnav looked at the owner of the voice.

Khushi??

''What you looking me at? He is Arjun kapoor, my best friend and if you have problem with him then I cancel all my contracts with this company''. She exclaimed arrogantly with lot of attitude.

Khushi tum..why.. ? He open his mouth to say something when Arjun barked in and held khushi hand.

''Sweetheart..what you doing here..i have searched you everywhere''. Khushi pointed toward arnav and he extended his hand for hand shake.

Hello Mr raizada...nice to meet you but he didn't reciprocate it and clenched his fist when his hand on khushi's waist.

I have heard you have meet with an accident..how are you? Arnav gasped and khushi took him out hugging him sideways.

''Khushi what happen to you..so looking so different? And why you called me here?'' She rolled her eyes by his queries and circled her arms around his shoulder and make him stopped.

''I was just missing you so thought why not we work together..i wanted to spend some quality time with you..only you and me..'' She spoke cupping his cheeks and plant a small kiss by noticing arnav glaring at them from his cabin window.

''Arjun is feeling top of the world..he never seen this side of her and feeling so happy realizing she also developed some feelings for him. Least he knew all she was doing to seek revenge from Arnav singh raizada.

Arjun pulled her closer and smile widely seeing a different look and passion in her eyes. He bend down to kiss her lips when arnav storm toward them. Both pulled apart by his sudden presence. He grabbed khushi hand furiously and dragged her to his cabin.

''What is are doing Mr raizada? Arjun is calling me, excuse me!'' She took few strides and about to walked out when he shut the door from behind and pinned her through the wall. She can noticed how much he is angry. His eyes were all red and he was burning by founding her get cozy with someone else.

How dare he touch you, khushi?

''I don't understand why closeness bothered you and who the hell are you to ask me? He can touch me, kiss me or even sleep with me..you are no one to interfere in my personal matter.

That's it his patience broke and he sealed her mouth passionately making her go all numb by his sudden action.

Precap: Arjun, will you marry me? He can't believe his ears and spin her into his arms cheerfully.

I love you khushi..i was waiting for this moment since ages...I love you a lot.
