Chapter 37: Fear of loosing

Khushi!!!!! His eyes grew widen when he saw a man pointing gun toward her while she was walking aimlessly oblivious someone triggering her. Arnav was terrified till death. Panic filled him as he realized what is going to happen.

No! he shouted. His yelling voice brought her back into senses and she saw him running toward her. Next moment she heard a gun fire and before she could do anything, she was covered with blood. She placed her hand over her mouth in horror seeing blood all over her. But it is not her blood nor she feel any pain. She turned and saw him felling down on floor and blood is oozing from his shoulder. Her eyes grew wider in terror

Arnav!!! She immediately held him in her arms before he fell down and put him in her lap.

''How this happen? Hey devimaiya you are bleeding..'' She look around and saw a man running away from back street. She didn't seen his face due to darkness and he is already left.

Arnav..!! she pressed his shoulder to stop his blood but of no use. Her face drenched with tears seeing his condition. Blood was flowing continuously from his shoulder like water making her scared like hell. She was trembling in fear..fear of loosing him. He was breathing hard and his face become pale. He cupped her cheeks that has been drenched with tears.

Arnav: ''Why you are scared? No one can harm you until this Arnav singh raizada is alive. Every problem will have to go through me before it reaches you. I haven't given any person right to harm you. There is nothing to fear..'' He assure her wiping those tears off her cheeks but more droplets stream down her eyes. Her heart swelled seeing the depth of his love. He loved me so much why I failed to see the purity of his love. She lean down and kissed him deeply, wildly and passionately and broke apart after a while longer.

Khushi: ''Your love is the most purest thing I ever known. Now I understand the real meaning of love..now I understand you arnav..'' She couldn't stop kissing him over and over again.

Arnav: ''Calm down khushi..i am alright!'' She hugged him tightly as if wanted to dissolve into his embrace.

Khushi: ''Don't leave me..i am scared to loose you..'' She was trembling in fear seeing the blood. She don't know what to do how to stop his blood and upon that he was breathing hard and trying hard to control his pain so that she won't get scared. She haven't see so much blood in her entire life. Her heart was sinking.

Khushi: ''Nothing will happen to you..nothing..'' She scan her eyes desperately to search anyone but found no one who could help her. She got up to find any way when stopped her pulling her hand back.

Arnav: ''Kh..sh..i..I...!''

Khushi: Nothing happen to you..i promise..'' He touched her face and smiled satisfactorily.

Arnav: ''Don't worry I m fine..!!'' She kissed his hand that glued on his cheeks and he wipe her tears to sooth her.

Khushi: ''Yah I know how much you are alright..!'' His eyes was getting heavy all of the sudden. She was swallowed like hell and shake him to make him conscious. Panic rushed through her body and upon that she cannot find a source where she could save him or took him to hospital. There car broke down and no vehicle is available. Blood rushed through her veins.

''Koi hain..please help me..'' she screamed on the top of her voice and cried in pain and he stilled. Her voiced echoed to her. He clutched her hand tightly. They are completely drenched with blood. His head was lying lifeless on her lap and her tears was tripping on his face.

''Arnav promise me you won't leave me..i can't stay away from you..'' Her voice was urgent and nervous. She just want one assurance from him. He looked at her meaningfully and careless her hairs.

Arnav: ''Khushi let me go..we are not meant to be together..you have to forget me and move on..''

Khushi: ''Please don't say like that..nothing will happen to you..we will always live together..'' She clamp her mouth to stiffen her sob.

Arnav: ''I deserve this khushi..this pain is nothing comparable I gave you so don't shed your tears on a monster like me..you are very nice girl and I'm sure your would be husband always love you..''

Khushi: ''Shut up Arnav..i am not going to marry anyone..do you understand!'' She tried to lift him up but he is not ready to move like he already give up and accepted it he cannot be survived.

Arnav: ''I don't have much time khushi.. I only wanted to hear last time you would stay happy after i..! After that she didn't say anything neither let him speak and placed her finger on his lips. She don't know how to explain him. Why don't he understand she is incomplete without him.

Khushi: ''Why can't you accept my love..is it so hard for you? I just want you love, arnav..i can't stay away from you..I can fight with anyone to be with you just once tell me you won't leave me..'' He pull her closer in his arms and kissed her forehead and she rested her head on his chest. She can feel his breathing was getting slow. She cried out fearing to loose him.

Arnav: ''Don't!!'' He sucked her tears.

Khushi: ''Please, arnav!'' She pleaded helplessly. Although it is too dark to see anything but he doesn't need light to see her. She bend down and kissed his face madly and convey him she only belong to him.

Arnav: ''Say my name one last time..'' He demanded. The pain was unbearable to hold him as he feels he have very less time. After that he was not sure he able to see her again or not. He closed his eyes and make a wish to always make her happy.

''Arnav'' she whispered his name slowly and painfully. She was panic when she saw him closing his eyes.

''Wake up arnav! If anything happen to you I won't be able to survive..i will die without you!..arnav?'' Her voice was cracking and heart was sinking.

''Somebody help me..'' She shouted and got up and ran here and there but entire street was lonely and dark. She bend down on her knees and started crying bitterly.

Few miles away a person was throwing things when the news of khushi survival get heard by the boss. The person shot the killer on the spot and began pacing aimlessly to find another way to kill her.

''Khushi gupta..you have to die! I won't let you live for long. So what your so called husband save you... you are not that lucky to always escape..''

''Devimaiya please save him! Day in and day night I pray you to gave him the most cruel and toughest punishment for ruining my life but the same girl is pleading you to save him because now I can't see him like that..i can't imagine my life without him..don't gave him punishment I cannot bear anything happen to him only I have authority to decide about his life not you..when I was begging you to gave me justice that time you didn't listen to me and laugh at my fate and took everyone from my life that is closed to me. And now when I started trusting and loving him and started dreaming my future with him..you want to snatch my husband from me!!Why always I would be the victim of every grief and sorrow how could you do that..i won't let anything happen to him.. I would bring arnav back in my life at any cost..'' A sob racked through her. She turned around and saw her husband body and the pool of blood was surrounded by him. She was feeling vulnerable and helpless. He was taking his last breathe in front of her and she was unable to do anything.

''Was I so fortunate one to be loved to that extent and yet be the unfortunate one, who couldn't be worthy to be love. What was my mistake that you always took my loved ones away from me. First amma babuji and now my arnav. If you hate me so much then took my life but please save my husband..'' There is so much pain hiding underneath her and today seeing his state it added to it.

''Why my life so complex? Why I couldn't live my life like a normal girl?'' What would be the biggest wish of any girl- to be loved, to have someone who could do anything for you. Only few girls was lucky enough to have such kind of love in their life and she got him. A person who never think before taking his own life..who can sacrifice his own happy just to put smile on her face. She was very fortunate to find such love but when she realize her love and started accepting him wholeheartedly again destiny betray her and bring her back to the same place where she had been before. She wanted to scream to lash out her pain but it is increasing every passing second by glancing at him.

Did she lost him forever? She look at the sky and saw two stars illuminating like her Amma Babuji was looking and blessing her. And then the flashes of her past flashed her eyes. That one incident changed everything in her life.

''He damaged me yet I didn't give up and continue fighting with him and now I fall in love with the same man. Before whenever I thought about my past I feel disgusted of myself like a dead soul but now I don't feel anything..i felt alive..something change inside me after he come back in my life..He is not the same man..He is not monster anymore, now he truly love me..'' She wondered enthusiastically and cold wind blew. She felt so empty from inside because she couldn't bring back the people she loved most.

With folded hand she prayed to her devimaiya to save him..'' That's when she saw a car coming toward her. Her happiness was of no boundary getting the ray of hope. She smile hysterically and immediately ran toward the car and saw arjun coming out with tensed state and his face was having some bruises but she avoid everything.

Arjun: ''Thank god you are here! I have been trying to contact you and arnav since so long..Do you know what happen?'' She was not in term to hear anything and quickly went toward arnav to pick him up who was lying on the floor few inches away. Currently she only wanted to reach hospital as early as possible and Arjun helped her.

''Omg what happen to him?'' She pushed her hair back in frustration and without wasting anytime time further he helped her to get arnav on the car and both directly dashed toward hospital.

Inside the hospital:

Khushi was sitting in one corner with closed eyes and praying for her husband well being and arjun console her patting her back. Within some hours doctor came out from operation theater and inform Arjun about his current status as Khushi was not in a term to hear anything.

Arjun: ''Khushi relax i have just talk with doctor..he is out of danger now..he is still unconscious but you go and meet him..'' She heave sigh of relief and thank her goddess for protecting her love out of all evilness. She looked at him soothingly but then arnav words ring in her mind. Anger started gripping her and she pushed Arjun's hand off her. He looked confused by her sudden change in behavior.

Khushi: ''Don't you dare come near me.i will never be yours!! She yelled furiously pushing him away.

Arjun: ''Is she gone mental in her husband love..'' He wondered looking at her and grinned.

Khuhsi: ''This is not funny, Arjun! What you said to arnav that he..Never mind from now I don't wish to see you again..dare you brain wash arnav saying you love me because I am not going to marry you ever..'' He snatched his head like a confused soul trying to grasp her words.

Arjun: ''But what I did..why you shouting at me? He pouted and she looked away.

''Anyways I want to tell you something very important.. listen to me very carefully! your dhruv bhaiya...''

Khushi(Cut him off): ''I don't want to talk with you..i am going inside, you stay away from my arnav!'' She warned passing an angry glare was about to took her step ahead when a sudden yell make her shuddered.

''You are not going anywhere!!'' She turned back and saw her brother standing with maddening rage reflecting through his eyes.

Arjun: ''Maar gaye..'' (We are dead now..'')

Dhruv: ''Vahi rukh jao! Age ek kadam bhi nahi badana..'' (Stop right there! Don't step ahead..'') A sudden yell from behind brought their attention.

Arjun: ''Khushi! Dhruv bhaiya came to my home and beaten me and when i said i don't know where were you both he beat me in his anger. He was been searching you and arnav like a mad like he gone kill him any moment. Something terribly wrong with him. He leave his engagement party in between..'' He whispered in her ears and narrate everything and gulped in nervousness seeing dhruv coming toward them enraging in fire. He hide himself behind khushi. She looked on shocked and scared. His eyes were all red due to anger but ignore everything and paid no attention to her brother. She don't care about anything. All she care about arnav right now. She was dieing to meet arnav and wanted to see once to know how is he? Her eyes were fixed at the entrance of the door and tears was constantly trimming down her face. There was a desperation in her eyes. Her heart is bleeding thinking about her husband. Because of her he was been in this condition.

On the other hand dhruv was standing in front of her with fuming eyes observing her. His expression was cruel and colder than ever seeing the concern in her eyes for the person who don't deserve a string of it.

Precap: Khushi: ''Bhaiya what's wrong with you! Let me go..Arnav need me..'' He grabbed her hand harshly and began dragging out of the hospital.

Dhruv: Shut up gudiya! You are not going to meet that monster ever again..that's final!! She shrugged his hand off angrily.

Khushi: ''I don't understand you hating him so suddenly! Arnav is my husband and you cannot stop me meeting him..'' She remarked sternly and took her step toward his ward.

Dhruv: ''As you wish if you want to go then i won't stop you but remember one thing i won't leave that Bas*** who ruined your life..today i will kill him and close his chapter once and forever..'' Her expression turned into terror and she glued on the spot as soon as words escape from his mouth. His few words was enough to through her to the edge of sanity.
