Chapter 43: Cursed

The bedroom door flew open wide from outside. Her eye twinkled in joy  to get glimpse of her husband that was standing at the door strangely. She went forward in her navy pink nighty that hardly reaching her knees. She took laptop bag from his hand and gesture him to come inside. Arnav was scanning the entire master room with surprised expression. The room was decorated with dim lights and red flower petals was spread on the bed. A large candles was glued on the side desk making the atmosphere more romantic and ravishing. He have no clue she can do something like that. She look into his eyes curiously waiting for him to say something.

''How's everything Mr raizada..did you like it? I did everything only for you..'' She said cheerfully.

''What the hell is that?'' He greeted his teeth to not shout at her. She held his hand and made him sit on the bed. Kneeling down she began removing his shoes and socks.

''Khushi what you doing..get up!!'' He protested.

''Let me do it, please!'' He look away getting frustrated as he know its useless to argue.  She got up and cupped his cheeks and look at him lovingly.

''Did you take your dinner?'' She asked but he didn't respond. ''I knew you always avoid your health but Mr Raizada if you keep avoiding your meals how you would take your medicine on time and get better..''

''You don't need to worry about me I know better..'' He stood up and then his eyes strode toward her.
''How I cannot worry you are my husband, I care for you..'' She said intently touching his face. He pushed her hand off.

''Stop it khushi I told you we are no-one for each other..anyways its pointless to make you understand..I m having a bad headache so don't pissed me off..'' He told her and turned to move when he felt her soft body crashed on him from behind.

''Arnav I want baby..'' He widen his eyes. She paused for a moment before continuing. ''For the first time I am asking you something please don't deny me...I wanted to take our relationship ahead and wish to grow a life inside me..a baby that was supposed to be a symbol of our love, a love that we used to feel for each other not any hatred that we experienced in our past.'' She kissed his shoulder lightly and took his coat and blazer out of his body. He was stunned by her move and look back in restraining but she won't let him speak and melted into his arms while her lips moving on his exposed skin.

''Khushi tum..'' Before he say a word, there is a sudden gravity pull by her and he fell down on the bed with khushi on top of him.

''Today is our suhaag-raat, arnav lets not waste any time..''. He stare her in shocked state and before he do anything to stop her assault, she attacked him and began placing uncountable hot and wet kisses all over his face and neck with her hand interlocked his firmly. Getting agitated, he furiously pushed her off and got up with all the fire.

'''What the hell are you trying to do khushi..i never though you could be so insensitive and selfish..you only think about yourself but don't care what is going around you.''

''Selfish.? I just wanted to do something special for you and if you cannot accept me then why you come here? I don't impose anything on you?''

Yes so that you sleep with arjun? That what you want right!'' He said in an unpleasant tone. She looked back in disbelief.

''Arnav I..I''

''Enough!! I don't want any explanation. You wanted to use me for the sake of a baby? Disgusting!'' He raked his hand through his hairs to calm his nerve.

''What you said I m using you?'' Her heart aching in pain.

''Why you wanted to play with two men. At one time you said you are ready to marry Arjun..you spend incredible time with him and on other side you said you love me and wanted to make baby with me. What kind of love you have? Are you not satisfied with one?'' Her heart twitched in pain by his ill words. There were so painful to bear.

''Forget about me you not leave your sister as well. Didn't you feel anything for Aditi? What she was going through, did you ever feel her pain. She had lost her husband and her unborn..her entire world shattered into pieces without any mistake. She lost all hope to live and committed suicide once. Just now I came from hospital and saw her devastated form with my own eye. Do you know how painful it is loosing someone which is a biggest part of our life? No! You don't knew anything other than yourself. You are behaving as if nothing had happened.. everything is acted as normal. He clapped his hands. She looked at him motionless. He breathe deeply before he look at khushi.

''What happen why you staring at me like that.. you think I am a fool and don't know anything what's going on behind my back? I knew everything from start but remain quiet I wanted to see if you tell me about her or not and as expected you hide it. Not even 1 week passed for her accident and you started celebrating her plight? Her entire life get destroyed due to her carelessness. Did you remember you promised karan that you took care of his pregnant wife in his absence but did you fulfill his last wish! No? If you had gave little attention to her apart of these useless baby drama then this might not happen. I never make difference between anju and aditi and by seeing her condition, my heart cries. You have no idea what i felt seeing her like that. If my anju would be her place then...! He closed his eyes with hurt and pain. ''But you? You only care about yourself..'' She was standing like a statue without meeting his eyes. There was a shrink silent from her end for a couple of moment.

''You are right arnav, everything happened because of me..I m reason she lost her baby. I would never realize the feeling of pain of loosing someone because I never lost someone...right? She clutches her dress and was walking off that arnav stopped her.

Khushi I..I was..i didn't meant to say like that..I was..'' She interrupted in between.

No arnav..you are right I killed her baby..she is paying for my cruel fate..i should have died..i have no right to be alive by crushing her life..'' He instantly closed her mouth and not let her speak.

''Shut up khushi..don't you dare say that again..i know you wanted to be part of my life but its impossible Khushi i have never been good to you but its for better..i think you deserve better..i cannot give you what you want..all i have given you is pain, sorrow and hurt so its better we part your ways.

''What don't you mean..'' She breathe stopped working by what he implied.

''Meaning which you not wanted to hear it.''. He avoid his gaze and she smile bitterly.

''Thank you arnav..i have been very grateful for you..you showed me reality..''

''Khushi you taking it on other way..I..'' Been interrupted.

''No arnav you said it correct..i am a reason of everything...each and every person was suffering around me..i am a biggest curse for everyone. i not even spare my own parents. Every person associated with me was ruined. I m a selfish but did you care to ask me why I m doing all this? Why can't you understand me? its not like you haven't have sex before..i m just like those other girls..'' She throw whatever store in her heart and a weep escaping from her mouth.
''Khushi!!!'' He yelled on the top of his voice with his eyes splitting fire but immediately lowered his voice seeing her broken state. He closed his eyes and began beating himself for making her cry again by his accusation. He walked toward her and touched her shoulder but she waved him off from touching her.

''Don't touch me arnav otherwise your life also went into darkness...stay away from me..'' She took few step behind and hit the wall from behind. She lean down slowly and fell on the ground. He move ahead to hold her but she pushed him off and cried her heart out with her palm. She closed her eyes as her parents dead body flashed in her mind once again. The pain was killing her. His His words again freshen her wounds and made her remember her past which she was trying to forget since ages. It stabbed her heart brutally. He looked at her who was sitting on the ground, staring at the marbles. Arnav pulled her hand with his hold but didn't let him near her.

''Don't come near me arnav please main apke haath jodti hu..just leave me alone I don't want to see your face..'' Arnav look on hurt but then recovered from being turning down again.

''Fine if that what you wanted khushi then that what will happen. I don't know what happen to you so suddenly that you are behaving so oddly..be reasonable khushi. Don't mess your life what was already arranged. Marry arjun and settled your life..it would be good for you..'' He tried again may be she understand his perceptive. His words hurt her terribly.

''As you say I won't persuade you much but just remember, by the time you will realize what you have lost it will be too late. That day khushi kumari gupta would not be a part of your life..'' She couldn't breathe in the same room so she she stood up with a dry smile on her face and choose to dismiss from there.

Next morning arnav woke up from recliner. The clock already strike 5:00PM. He rose up in his feet and saw bed is empty. Last night he have been harsh with her and chose to apologize for his mistake. He felt guilty for what happened last night. He went to check for khushi. He scan his eye in entire space but found her no where. His felt a strange fear within his heart. Its so early and khushi used to wake up hardly at 7. Then where were she? He called his servants and asked about her but get disappointment in return. He checked the bathroom but couldn't locate her anywhere. His heart skipped a beat by her whereabouts. He began to walked out to found her but a piece of paper in a bed took his attention. He grabbed the note and started reading it holding his breathe.

''Arnav, you are right I shouldn't cross my line and tried to come near you when I knew my real identity...I always been a reason of destruction for each and everyone then how could I pushed your life in danger by coming close to you..but nothing was in my hands arnavji..i only wanted your happiness and last night what I did was not my choice but for someone else. Your dadi was suffering from cancer, last stage. The chances of her survival was very less..'' His blood stop to pump by knowing the harsh reality. A lone tear escapes through his eyes. After sometime he resume back to read the content.

''She requested me for your baby. Its her last wish as she wanted to see your flesh before death embrace her. She had very less time and pleaded me as I keep on denying. She took promise from me to not tell you anything about her health knowing how much you loved her and it would be very difficult for you to bear this harsh truth. That's the only reason I took this step and asked you for baby other than that I have no intention to hurt your feelings. I admit I don't deserve you and always been a burden for you but for her sake I agreed to fulfill her last wish. Regarding aditi, I know she is suffering from big trauma and in such situation I shouldn't do all this what I did last night. But I m helpless..dadi condition getting deteriorated day by day and that was only option left. Her condition get more worsen when I deny her demand and doctor advised me to keep her happy and not to gave any kind of stress in such weakening condition, may be it will arise one ray of hope for her survival. However, I decided to fulfill her wish and put that proposal in front of you. At that time what I found good I did even you accuse me being a selfish and characterless of being with two men at a time but I have no cling of regret for you. I m sorry for everything..i trouble you a lot in all these months with my stupidity and compel you to stick with this nameless marriage but last night you broke all my dilusion..you never loved me its only one sided love from my side. I knew I meant nothing to you..you always wanted to get rid off me..I have been forcing you to accept me your wife. But from now onward I put a full stop on all this. I won't bother you anymore because I m leaving your house forever so that you can live your life peacefully. For your happiness I can go to any length and if you think by marrying me with someone else gave solace to your heart then I will do. Yes Mr Arnav singh raizada, I am ready to marry arjun, only and only for you.

He scrunched the letter  in pain and broke down and cried.
Khushi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He screamed.

Taking a sharp breathe khushi knocked the door putting a forced smile on her face and greeted her brother dhruv.

''Khushi what you doing here?'' He looked pleasantly surprised seeing suitcase in her hand and gesture her to come inside. Controlling her inner turmoil, she smile affectionately.

''Why cannot I come my home..i m missing you so so much bhaiya..'' She hugged him tight and controlled herself in bursting out. Cupping her face, he made her looked at him.

''Gudiya is everything alright? Did you have fight with arnav?'' He jumped out of concern. She held his hand and tried to calm him sitting beside him.

''Relax bhai..all is well there is nothing to worry actually I came here for aditi...she discharged from hospital today so I wanted to be with her for some days. So my dearest brother, if you have not any problem may I have a permission to stay in your house..'' She spoke dramatically. He slapped her head.

''Pagli from when you need to ask my permission..its your home whenever you want you can stay bachha..'' She gave him side hug.

''Its been long we have spend time together..i have so much to talk..'' she keep on blabbering and he smile by her antics. He noticed her smile not reaching her eyes. Did something happened? He looked on suspecting something is wrong. She went and meet aditi who was laying on the bed lifelessly staring at ceiling.

''Aditi!!!..See who came to meet you.. erhh is this the way to greet your khush! I m very angry with you..come on now get up now otherwise I will beat you up so hard that you remember your nani..'' She charged her putting her hand on her hips but no response. She was motionless and laying like a dead soul. Khushi cannot hold back her tears and pressed her mouth with her palm to control her sob. She was about to fell down on the ground when Dhruv supported her and tried to console her.

''Nahi gudiya..don't cry you have to be strong if you broke down then who will support her..hmm?'' He wipe her tears.

''I can't Bhaiya I can't.. why all this happened to her..why her? She love jiju so much and her baby? What that innocent souls have did that god punished them so brutally. She was so happy with her family and made so many dreams for their unborn but everything is shattered..I don't have strength left to see all these destruction anymore..everyone was suffering and I can't able to save them..firstly amma babuji, then karan jiju and now aditi..I can't see her like this..'' She held his hand in a tight grip and looked into his eyes with anxiety. He touched his shoulder and about to utter a word but a sudden turn by her made him realize her miserable condition.

''Bhaiya one by one everyone is going away..some day you will also go?'' Her tears was flowing unstoppable. Do I m really that bad then no one wanted to stay with me? If anything happen to you then I won't be able to survive...please bhaiya tell me you won't leave me alone..promise me you always be with me..promise me...'' She pleaded him continuously and bitterly cried on his shoulder. He was getting worried now. Lastly he have seen her this condition when she lost her purity and currently what he was observing was something terrible. He have never seen her so much distraught. His brown frown not understand what she meant by these words that she have no one. She was not in a condition to answer anything so he took her inside and made her sleep. Painful tears escaped from his eyes seeing his both sister state. He called anjali and asked her  about khushi but knowing khushi is in dhruv house literally surprise her. She don't know anything about khushi.

''Khushi left RM without letting anyone know..but why?'' His doubt was clear. ''So that means arnav is the reason of my gudiya condition..'' He greeted his teeth.

Next day when arnav reached his office, he found khushi resignation letter written by her. He can sense strain of tears on the paper. His heart died in that moment. He looked at it emotionally. She loved him unconditionally but what I did..i never cared for her emotions and hurt her in-numerous times. I shredded her heart into pieces. She did everything for my dadi but what I did I accuse her! Damn! He punched himself for being so ruthless. She was already suffering and he added fuel to it making it more miserable. He wanted to know how was she but cannot grabbed courage to face her.Just then there was a knock on the door and he indicated the person to enter. It was sheena. She extended one file creeping a seductive smile on her lips.

''Sir i have fixed the meeting with Mr mehta, he wanted to meet Mrs raizada for next modelling assignment..'' He gulped down in pain.

''Cancel it..'' She looked wide eyes and then thought she heard something wrong..

''Can't you hear me I said cancel it..'' He roared.

''But sir..she is show stopper how can I..'' He put the file down angrily and got up raggedly making her step back.

''What the hell is your problem..can't you understand in simple language..she left the job and no more part of our company..assign any other model for that..now what are you staring at me like that..go to hell!!'' He barked and she smiled inwardly.

''Bechari khushi..seems she have completed the task of leaving him and left asr.. I should have inform lavanya mam, the day she was waiting for eagerly finally came. Walking out, she remove her mobile to dial but someone from behind grabbed her mobile and threw it into pieces.

''You basta* how dare..'' She stopped suddenly turned back and get froze seeing Arjun in front of her eyes. Her gaze turned toward ASR who was standing next to him. His eyes were all red like he can going to kill her any moment.. She began shivering by his mad rage.

Arnav had already have doubt on her but never knew she can go to such extent. She open her mouth to defend herself but get a hard slap from her boss in return. She began crying begging him for mercy going on her knees. He warn her to shot everything. His mouth went dry when she revealed about lavanya being giving threatening calls to khushi to separate them. He closed his eyes in frustration and look back at her with all fire up. He grabbed her neck firmly. Anyhow arjun control her and called aman to handle him. Arjun was also in a state of khushi. He have never imagined his sister lavanya could do something like that.

''Clean that flithy women from this place and make sure she never get a servant job anywhere in this city..'' Arnav commanded aman and she have been thrown out of his office getting humiliated.

Arnav sank down on his knees curling up. He felt powerless..inhuman. He never thought his own staff would do something like that. He was searching karan's killer since long and never expected someone from his office being a part of it. Arjun went near him and exposed everything what khushi tell him about that MMS.

Arnav was shocked to hear that. He felt ashamed of himself being so rude with her. She always tried to protect him but he been so rude to her. After what he had done she still trying to hide his misdeeds. After a few minutes, he raised his head with a mad glint of rage and drove toward lavanya house.

The moment she open the door, a wide smile appear on her lips.

''Finally finally my darling asr back to me..i m so so happy Asr...'' She went to hugged him but he pushed her so hard that she fell down on the ground.

''Baby..is this the way to treat your would be wife..'' He grabbed her hairs making her yelled for help.

''Wife..my foot..you bloody murderer..i have never seen a filthy women like you in the entire world..you are a disgusting women..i hate you..'' She gulped down in fear. Lavanya never thought that asr or anyone will come to know about her plan as it was full-proof.

''Baby I haven't done anything..that bi** khushi is lying..did she told you about me? She is jealous of me..she wanted to separate us as she knew you are only mine..i swear asr I hadn't did anything..she killed karan..i m innocent..believe me jaan..i love you asr.. I love you..'' She touched his cheeks in a hope he would melt down but then felt a burning sensation on her cheeks. She looked back at him fuming in anger and got up to shout when police coming inside. She began sweating.

''So ready to spend your life in jail?'' Arnav smile sarcastically.

Khushi was standing in front of devimaiyya idol with joined hands and closed her eyes.

''Hey devimaiyaa is this going to be my life? I was a orphan and I found a family on arnav. I found a person who I thought would care and love me but he for whatever reason broke my heart. After everything he put me through I forgive him and accept him with all love but he crushed all my dreams. Why he did this to me? I loved him so much that its getting impossible to erase his memories from my heart. Please devimaiya gave me strength so that I able to forget him and moved on. I can't see my life without him. Now I m leaving everything in your hands. I trusted you devimaiyya and I still do so all is in your hands..today I m going to take a decision..gave me your blessing to your child and help me so that I get succeeded in it..'' 

''Khushi!!!'' She turned back by wiping her tears immediately and looked at his confused eyes. She went near aditi and placed her in a wheel chair.

''Why you packed your bags and aditi's..are you taking her somewhere..?''

''Bhaiya as you postpone your marriage for some months I decided to go US for adit's treatment..'' He get astonished.

''What but why..so suddenly? Did arnav allow you to go US alone?'' Her gaze instantly turned sharp hearing his name that is not go unnoticed by dhruv.

''I have talked with aditi's doctor and he suggested me to take her to US for further treatment.. Dr Wilson was the a best psychologist and I knew him personally as I have done a training under him..remember? I m sure sooner my aditi di will come out of this trauma and able to speak..''
''No gudiya..i won't allow you to go alone..let me call arnav..'' She instantly clutched his hand.

''Bhaiya I talk to arnav he itself told me to take aditi there..''

Are you sure..you know i hate if anyone lied to me..'' She turn her gaze away.

''I promise bhai I will take care of myself properly..don't worry you trust me nah? He nodded his head and seeing her stubbornness, he took their luggage inside the car.

The damage that occurred in aditi life I will mend it..i promise you aditi you will get all the happiness you lost in your life..'' she take an oath to herself and decided until aditi cannot get cured fully she won't be back in this city. Within few hours the flight been taken off leaving her heart to beat somewhere else.
