Chapter 33: Accusation and realization

Turned the knob, Arnav sneaked in without making any sound. He slowly entered inside taking small steps and scanning his eyes to search her but cannot able to see her anywhere as there is a complete darkness around. Its only 10 PM and khushi didn't sleep so soon, he wondered scanning his eyes. Remove the coat and loosing the tie, he switched on his mobile light and tried to look after her.

Khushi..? He voiced her out of concern. That when suddenly light turned on and he smiled looking at her.

Arnav: ''You are still awake? I thought..'' His words left incomplete.
Khushi: ''Enjoyed your special night with your new girlfriend?'' She asked bitterly walking toward him.

Arnav: ''What..?'' He was taken aback by her words and can't believe what he just heard.

Khushi: ''So how was your making out..did she were capable to satisfy you on bed or not?'' Her voice was cold. Every word pierced through his heart like daggers making it bleed.

She think I was with a girl? How can she think so low about me after what the shared few hours ago. He was just going to tell her what had happened with anjali but accusation shrilled him. He turned his face on other side can't able to see hatred in her eyes.

Khushi: ''What happen..feeling ashamed to look into my eyes? May be scared to know that your ugly truth exposed to me. You have made a nice plan to entrapped me in your fake love and almost you succeeded..hats off to your biggest achievement, Mr Arnav Singh Raizada. She clapped her hands cheering him up. He looked into her painfully. Every every word cracked something inside him.

''And now everything is crystal clear in front of me..I never came across a sick man like you. Firstly I thought why you married me when you already used me as I knew Arnav singh raizada never taste a girl twice, remember your words? He clenched his fist in a firm grip by her accusation. Tears spilled down his cheeks but he didn't spoke anything and silently bear her every accusation and let her say whatever she want. After all he deserve it.

''You a biggest playboy I ever met. You married me because you had a fear what if I send you behind the bar or exposed your awful deeds to your sister, haina? And when you saw you are not able to bed me, you went to another girl to satisfy yourself..I thought until our contract period get over you won't bed any other girl but I was again wrong in judging you. Don't know how many women you used in these one month..this is called your true love that you always expressed..chee''

Arnav: Enough!!!!!!!!! He turned and screamed with so much strength as he mustered. He cannot take this anymore. He thought today he would confess his feeling open heartily and tell her what she meant for him but again her mistrust broke him apart. Her useless accusation shattered his soul terribly.

''Hate me, abuse me, mistrust me or do whatever you want, I will never stop you saying anything but never spoke a word against my love for you..i won't never tolerate at all..'' His voice was sharp. Her every word wounded his heart that he have a doubt whether he able to come out of it or not.

Khushi: ''I won't, what you would do..?'' She pushed him against his chest. He remain numb and stare her silently. ''Again force me or do something to hurt me? Answer me!!'' She constantly pushing him getting furious. Can't you give up masking your monsterous form every-time? Today I won't let you go until you won't spoke everything..why you ruined my life..why you married me..why you played with my feeling..do you know how I felt when I came to know that yo..?'' She instantly stopped. He tried to cool her down and gave a glass of water and instead she splash it on his face and throw it on the floor roughly breaking it into several pieces like his heart.

Khushi: ''Don't come near me..i hate you!!'' He stepped back giving her space.

Arnav: ''You said you hate me but your eyes say something else? She flinched. Her eyes splitting fire by his comment.

Khushi: Don't assume things..i have nothing to do with a murderer..A BLOODY KILLER...you killed my AMMA-BABUJI and made me orphan. She finally spat on her top of her voice making him stunned. Her statement froze him. For a second his heart stop beating.

Arnav: ''Murderer? Are you out of your senses..why I would killed them? He was yet in shocked state trying to comprehend her words that is getting unbearable for him. She think I killed her parents? What rubbish!!

Khushi(Grabbing his collar): Stop lieing again and again. Don't look so innocently like you don't know anything...you ruined my life and snatched every single happiness that I bestowed with my loved ones. Every member whom I loved you literally took it away and made my life a living hell...what is my mistake that you spread poison to my beautiful world..why you killed my parents? What was their mistake that you punished them..why you made me orphan. You wanted to kill me..killed me right now..'' She get hold of knife and handed him but he glued.

''Kill me and make an end to this chapter at-least then I get some solace from this cruelty of yours. I have no strength left to bear anymore betrayal..it hurts me..your are suffocating me. She said holding knife tightly and sooner blood started oozing from her palm. He swallowed hard seeing her blood and instantly take it off and started blowing to sooth her pain. But she waved his hand off seeing his fake concern.

Khushi: This pain is nothing comparable you gave me here..she said pointed toward her heart. Without caring about her wriggling he bandaged her.

Arnav: ''I can't never imagine in my life to hurt you..i didn't kill your parents, trust me?'' He said honestly looking deep into her eyes.

Khushi: ''Just shut up, I don't want a single justification from you. What do you think of yourself? What you trying to prove..just 3 days and after that I will go far away from your life...'' He left her wrist and ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

Arnav: ''I don't want to prove anything..i am saying what is truth but you only wanted to see what you assumed is right..for you I am always be a wrong no matter what how I'm right..just once did you tried to trust me?'' He took a deep breathe.

She looked at him tearfully and try to figure out. Her heart is screaming to trust him but her mind betrayed her. She can see the sincerity in his eyes but she is not capable to trust him once again.

''And the day you realize the purity of my love you it would be too late to mend anything and then you cannot find me anywhere..'' saying this he left the room with broken heart. She dropped down, burying her head and cried her heart out.

Arnav get completely broken and quickly drove off to a secluded spot. He drove really fast not really caring. His eyes played back all her harsh words..the pain he gave her was so strong she is unable to trust him again. He put the brakes on fiercely and came out of the car. He was pacing on the road ruthlessly.

You had lost her..you lost her forever..now she will never believe you and go far away from your life..she think I killed her parents..within 3 days she left you and then you will never be able to see her again..how I make her believe how much I loved her. You always loved her but your ego your arrogance and yor stupidity has ruined the chance you had with her..you made a mistake of marrying her..she deserve something better and now I won't force her to be with him..if she want I would gave her divorce and let go off from this sacred bond. She deserve all the happiness..i only gave her pain no matter what I always failed to gave her happiness.

He continued pacing and fidgeting with his hand. With this thoughts became overbearing he yelped in pain and broken down near his car.
''God why????????''

All I will do to wait till anju's marriage and after that I walked out of her life..i can't poison her life again..khushi I really did love you and I hope you can forgive me..my love for you will never fade but I know some crimes can never be forgiven but I hope you can you only deserve happiness and I deserve your pain. And if your parents not died in accident then I will find out that man who killed them..its my promise!!
He wiped his tears and got up removing his cell.

''Aman, find out how Shashi uncle and Garima Aunty died..i want every single details about it as soon as possible and if needed take help of Asp and again reopen the case...'' He said sternly.

Next day khushi went down and began buttering the toast absent minded. Her eyes get swollen due to crying whole night. She was oblivious what is going around. That's when she felt a soft hand on her shoulder from behind. She quickly composed herself controlling her pain and forced to smile turning toward her mother in law.

Sumitra: Khushi betiya, what happened? Is everything alright? She nodded and then eyes roam around. She noticed some people were engrossed in decoration while other some were painting the walls.

Ma, yeh sab...? She looked on surprised.

Sumitra: You forgot? Today is your bhaiya and anjali's Engagement function. She get bewildered when realization drawn upon her. In all these mishaps she forgot about her bhaiya alliance. Unknowingly her hand went toward her mangalsutra. A lone drop of tear tripped into it. Just 2 days, her bhaiya got married to anjali and after that everything get finished. She get rid of this nameless marriage..'' Her heart get heavy when she felt a tight grip on her hand. She arched in pain.

Sumitra: Good morning aditi beta..breakfast is ready!!

Aditi: No aunty not mood I will do later..i wanted to talk with khushi..can i? She nodded and aditi excused herself and without letting khushi speak further she quickly grabbed her toward the guest room and pushed her inside locking the door from behind.

Khushi: Aditi,what's wrong with you? Why you bring me here like that..?''

Aditi: What wrong with me? What happened to you..how can you abuse jiju like that!!'' Her eyes popped thinking how she knows about it.

Aditi: I have heard everything last night what had happened between two but didn't say anything I thought its your personal matter and I have no right to interfere. But when dhruv bhaiya informed me about anjali and told me that..''

Khushi(Interrupting): ''Stop it aditi..i don't want to hear anything..its good you came to know everything and now I don't have to enact a typical house wife in front of you...I hate him..he is a murderer..he played with me..i will never forgive him..'' She turned to walk away taking a painful gasp when aditi again pulled her back.

Aditi: ''Did you once gave him chance to explain where he was yesterday?

Khushi: ''I don't need to ask because I know he was with that girl and..'' she cannot able to speak anything further and closed her eyes feeling distraught imagining the scene.

Aditi: ''I cannot believe this! A person who loved you so much you are thinking so bad about him...''

Khushi: ''You are saying as if you know him since ages..stop defending him, aditi!! Did he send you to talk with me..? She open her mouth to say something when she heard anjali banging voice. Khushi instantly wiped her tears and let her in unlocking the door.

Anjali: ''You both are here..i am searching you everywhere.. Bhabhi I am damn confused with the jewelry issue, can you please help me to select for today's function?'' Khushi nodded weakly making anjali jump in excitement.

Anjali: I am so happy..today is the best day in my life and all credit goes to my bhaiya if he didn't kicked that shyam out last night and save me from his clutches then I...''

Khushi: Shyam? Khushi asked confused. She had heard his name first time. She was clueless.

Anjali: ''Bhaiya didn't tell you anything? She narrate everything how shyam blackmailed her and dhruv making a plan to trapped him and then arnav saving her on right moment. Khushi was shocked knowing that. That means arnav was with anjali last night and I thought he..! Her stomach churned. She don't know how to react by this revelation. Anjali went out getting impatient for her engagement while aditi still glaring at her coyly.

Aditi: ''Now you understand what I was trying to say? He was not with any other girl, he went to save his sister and I am damn sure he have nothing to do with your parents murder because I have seen honesty and immense love in his eyes  and he can never think to hurt you..he loved you a lot khushi !! He was loyal to you but unfortunately you failed to see his love. Khushi head was started to spin. The image that had been torturing him since yesterday started to take a new meaning, torturing her even further. She was vulnerable remember her own harsh word. He was at no fault and she accuse him without letting him speak. Aditi paused and continued,

''You might be thinking how I can be so sure about it, wasn't you.? The day I entered your house I know something wrong in between you. I deliberately tried to come near your husband so that you can realize your feelings but you have messed it all last night. I don't know what is the reason and why you hate him that bind your eyes with hatred and cage you to not let you see his true love. I am in love with your karan jiju and had experienced the same feeling. The way he looked at you and make you forget everything it is nothing but love. Tell me khushi don't you love him..?''

Khushi didn't know what to say. She sank down on the floor and started weeping. Her mouth gone dry. Deep down she have started accepting her feeling. Tears of realization rolled from her eyes. Aditi was right arnav can never killed her parents.Did he truly loved me? But she always mistrust him. There is someone else who not wanted actual truth to come out in light.

''Yes I love him, I love him..i am in love with him..i won't let him go..i wanted to be with him forever.i wanted to be his wife..'' She finally confessed. Aditi smiled and encourage her to go and tell him everything. Khushi nodded and quickly ran out of house and drove toward his office to confess her feelings.
