"What are you talking NK?" Arnav whispered. Shock is clear in his widened eyes. Both NK and Arnav are sitting in Khushi's flat. After Khushi went to deep sleep due to her medicine, NK called Arnav to come and meet him at home to talk which they discussed in phone. So, they are here. NK told everything of his and Khushi's conversation in the morning.

"That is what she said" NK said

"Is she crazy?" Arnav groaned

"No, but innocent and scared" NK confidently answered.

Arnav looked at NK and sighed in defeat. "But, how can she think like that? Can't she understand my gestures? Can't she see how much I love her?"

"Why did you doubt her?" NK questioned Arnav looking in his eyes.

"Excuse me?" Arnav didn't expect this question.

"If actions are enough to know and understand that one person is in love with us, why did you doubt Khushi ji in the first place? When we all could see the love towards you in her eyes, why did you not understand her love? Why couldn't you see how much she loved you? How can you miss her love in her actions and was that, that much difficult for you to understand?" NK asked straight leaving Arnav dumbfounded.

"NK?" Arnav whispered

"Answer me Nannav? Why did you doubt her in the first place?" NK asked with anger filled voice.

Arnav looked straight thinking about NK's words 'Why did I doubt her in first place?'

"Look Nannav, whatever you did left a deep scar on her mind and heart. If you want her in your life, you have to work for that. Regretting, giving time for her, maintaining distance or waiting for her to come back - will never help. Seeing you doing all these she may feel and think, you are happy being away from her, you are happy without her. She is thinking, you always hated and still hate her, let alone liking her. She is in pain Nannav. Only you can sooth her pain. She needs you. She is scared of another heart break, she is scared of loving you again with her whole heart fearing of your response. But still she wants you in her life. She is confused thinking whether to hope for you or let you go. She is just keeping every pain in her heart not sharing with anyone. We all know how dangerous is that for her health. If she need to breath, she needs you before her. If she need to smile, she needs you with her. If she need to reduce her pain, she needs you beside her. If you want her to live, then you have to be there in her life. Only your presence in her life will make her normal Nannav. Please, do something. I know this is difficult for you to stand before her. But, if you want her in your life, you have to work on that. Think wisely before you act. Think about Khushi ji first, then you and then family and the world. She should be your first priority now. Whatever you do, I don't know, but you have to make it up to her. Otherwise, we better prepare ourselves to lose her permanently." NK concluded

"Please don't say that NK" Arnav pleaded

"I'm not saying this to scare you or something Nannav. But I'm living with her, I know from what to what she has become. I can clearly see how much she is hiding inside her. She is not our old Khushi now. She is just a person living without any hope. I'm scared Nannav. Please do something..." NK pleaded with moistened eyes. "I can't lose my friend... please... only you can bring her out from this state... please Nannav... please..." with that NK let his pain and fear come out in the form of tears. He was scared of seeing his best friend in this condition. He can see how much she is suffering, but couldn't do anything as till today she never opened up. After when she told her fear, he doesn't want to waste a second. So, immediately he called Arnav and asked him to come to Khushi's house once she sleeps.

Arnav looked at crying NK and immediately took him in his arms. He rubbed NK's back to calm him

"My little brother, you will never lose your friend or I will never lose my life. I promise you... I will bring our Khushi back. Whatever I have to do, I will bring her back. If needed I will bring this world to her feet. I will do everything to make her come back to her normal self. Trust me, I will do whatever I need to do. Just give me few days to think and decide. Because I know whatever decision I'm going to take will bring lot of changes in our lives for good. Please trust me NK. I will do everything in my limit to bring our Khushi back... please trust me... shh... relax... everything will be okay... relax" Arnav tried to assure himself more than assuring NK.

After talking for more time, Arnav left to RM, but not before checking Khushi.

"But sir...? All these? I mean...?" Mr. Roy, Arnav's lawyer gave Arnav a perplexed look

"Do what I say... I don't want any mistakes in these. By evening I want all these papers to be ready. Tomorrow you can come and take their signatures..."

"But sir... all these? I mean... what about you?"

"Not now Mr. Roy... carry on your work. Tomorrow morning around 9, you can come to my house to collect the signatures... now you can go" with that Arnav dismissed his lawyer.

"What are you both doing here at this time? Shouldn't you both in office?" NK asked looking at his brothers. "And whose luggage is this?" seeing Arnav nodding his head, NK asked

"Nannav, are you going somewhere?" his anger rose. 'After whatever we talked few days back, how can he leave and go' - NK thought

"NO... he is not going anywhere... and don't ask him any question NK... he won't answer... he will do whatever he thinks is right, after all he is great mighty ASR." Akash spat, leaving baffled NK

"What's wrong Akash bhai? Why are you so angry?" NK asked

Before Akash or Arnav answers, they heard Khushi's voice "Nanhe ji... where are...? What's going on here? Jeeju? Arnav ji? When did you come?" Khushi was glad to see the trio. From morning onwards she is feeling some uneasiness. She is scared and want to see Arnav for unknown reason.

Looking at Khushi's weak face, the trio ran to her. Akash held Khushi's upper arm "Are you okay Khushi? You are looking so weak!!" Akash asked concerned

"NO I'm not fine jiju... I'm feeling weak... something different. Uneasiness... I don't know..." she said looking at Arnav, who is talking in phone. Khushi felt hurt seeing Arnav talking in phone, not asking about her health.

"Khushi ji... what's wrong? What happened? You were fine in the morning!" NK asked worrying for his friend. "Do you want me to call doctor? How are you feeling? What's wrong?" asked NK

"Don't worry, I already called doctor, he is on his way. Khushi... What's wrong? How are you feeling?" asked Arnav. Seeing Khushi's weak expression, he called doctor immediately. Khushi felt relaxed knowing the call Arnav was in, is for her. She felt little hope thinking Arnav cares for her. Khushi led her hand forward towards Arnav to take, which he immediately took. Khushi is feeling restless with the uneasiness in her chest. She pushed herself more into Arnav and leaned on him. She is feeling content to have Arnav with her. She always wanted him beside her, but couldn't let him near her, because of his past behaviour. Three brothers looked at each other with worried faces and looked at Khushi, who closed her eyes. She is losing her consciousness.

"Khushi...? Khushi? What's wrong? Tell me... what's wrong?" Arnav asked in worry

"I'm scared... Arnav ji... I don't know, but I'm sure, something is going to happen... in fact something is definitely happening with me... I don't know... but I'm feeling like... I'm going to... going to... di..." she lost her conscious.

Arnav immediately took her in his arms and lied her on bed.

"Khushi..." Arnav whispered

"Arnav ji..." Khushi murmured in her unconscious state.

NK pour water into glass and gave to Arnav, which he sprinkled on Khushi's face. Arnav patted her cheeks to get her to conscious. Seeing her gaining conscious, Arnav sat on the bed, and held her close to his chest.

"Arnav ji..."

"I'm here sweetheart... I'm here" Arnav whispered.

"Arnav ji... something... here... tight... uneasy... I mean... I don't... kn...ow... I'm... feeli... breath...less..." Khushi tried to explain her condition, keeping her hand on her chest, which left the brothers more worried. She clutched him tightly by his shirt collar.

"Sh... Khushi... relax... you are weak that's why you are feeling all these... relax... doctor is in his way. Relax... shh... I'm here... with you. I have got you... you have me... relax... everything will be fine..." Arnav assured himself more than Khushi. He rocked her little to relax her while caressing her back.

Then Akash, who had called doctor again to explain Khushi's condition and ask about the things they have to do till he comes, gave the phone to Arnav to hear the instructions. Akash went out to bring the medicines, doctor told them to make ready in case of serious condition. Arnav lied Khushi on bed and searched her wardrobe for loose dresses to make her wear. But along with her dresses, he found two sets of male dresses, which he immediately recognised as his. He took one set of t-shirt and night pant out and bring that to Khushi, after closing the door.

"Khushi you need to change into this... come on..." Arnav held Khushi by her shoulder and made her sit on the bed. Khushi is not in a state to hear what he was saying or not in a state to notice what he is doing. She is in the edge of losing her conscious.

Arnav slowly changed her dress into his dress, which is way larger than her actual size. After changing her, he opened the door allowing NK inside, who opened all the doors of windows, and switched on the AC.

"I'm sorry sweetheart... I'm sorry... don't worry, everything will be fine... I will make sure... relax... you will be fine... relax..." he whispered. He made Khushi lie comfortably and rubbed her palms sitting beside her. Tears ran down from his cheek, hearing Khushi chanting his name even in her unconscious state from the time she saw him. NK and Akash who came back home with medicines, started to rub Khushi's feet to keep the warmth in her body, as per doctor's instructions.

After few minutes, doctor came and checked Khushi. He gave injections to Khushi, which helps her to sleep peacefully. Doctor along with the trio walked to living room.

"Nothing to worry, she is weak, disturbed and anxious. That's why she felt uneasiness. Nothing to worry, it happens for almost every heart patient. Just make sure, she don't get worry about anything much. Try to divert her, make her do little things on her interest. Take her out for sometime. Talk with her, engage her all the time. Try to know her fears... she is far better than before. It's just her fears aren't helping her to cure completely. Once her fears gone, she will be perfectly fine. Just give her good food, good rest and good diversion. Nothing else... she is fine... don't worry. Call me if anything needed. I gave her sedative to relax... she will sleep for some more time... let her... I will take your leave" Doctor left from there, leaving three relieved brothers.

The trio sat with a thud in sofas, sighing deeply.

"I'm so worried about her Nannav..."

"This is the reason for my decision Akash. I can't leave her like this to recover by herself. I want to be with her as she wants, as she knows, as she desires, as her Arnav ji. This is what I chose to give her, her Arnav ji. Hope you will understand my decision now..."

"I'm not saying... hmmm... fine... as you wish... I'm going to office now..." with that Akash left from there with anger.

"What is happening Nannav? Why Akash bhai is so angry on you? I never saw him like this!" NK asked

"I will tell you later... I took the first step to get my Khushi back to normal. But our family is not liking that a bit. It's strange... when I did wrong no one said anything. But when I'm doing right, they are opposing me and shouting at me? Unbelievable..." Arnav said shaking his head with a small smile on his lips.

"But what did you do?" NK asked with curiosity

"Not now, NK, later. Now, I want to be with Khushi" with that Arnav closed the topic and went to Khushi's room.
