Hi, again, everyone!

For those of you who frequently take these poll with me, you'll notice that I'm posting two of these at once and honestly, it's solely because I had two questions I couldn't pick between asking you all to help me decide on. Lol.

Anyways, if you did not guess from the punny title of this poll, our subject today is based on the Elongated Man/Ralph Dibny and his friendship with Barry Alleb during the fourth season.

Now, I'm fully aware of some of things that went on behind the scenes revolving around Hartley Sawyer but this poll is based on only his character, not the actor.

Our challenge is to pick just any scene/s that we loved between these two guys from the fourth season.

(Of course, this can anything from a heartfelt moment to just these two idiots messing around with one another because let's be honest, both of those two things happened a lot throughout that season. Just pick whatever feels right for you :)

Author's Opinion:

Okay, if I could, I would probably choose every one of this duo's moments because they're just so contrasting different that I love them 😍

But since I have to narrow it down for the sake of the challenge, I'll just make a quick list of the scenes I enjoy the most:

4. It may only really be for humorous purposes, but I've always loved this pair's scene on the street of Central City where they get robbed by the same criminal from the first season. The interactions and reactions are just pure humor 🤣

3. At first, I wasn't the largest fan of it, but I really appreciate now just how good their rivalry was in Ralph's introduction episode because I truly felt bad for and was annoyed at both of their ways of dealing with the situation. I mean, Ralph was literally claiming that he was a good detective while breaking the law! And c'mon, Barry! You're supposed to be the one whose sympathetic of everyone's situations, not the one who holds petty grudges! That job is supposed to be reserved for Oliver Queen 😉

Technically, this was more of a concept used in the episode, but still, I'll count it.

2. My close second choice would definitely be the speech Barry gives Ralph after he gets injured by Trickster's son. The way you can see Barry's anxiety seeping into his words from not being able to help the team while in prison and then, to get to see him put that fact aside to help Ralph was amazingly well done!

And that one line about how choosing to do the right thing will always make you feel greater than fear have stuck with me ever since I first heard them.

1. The best Barry and Ralph scene from the fourth season (for lack of a good mashup name) in my personal opinion will always be the entirety of the eighteenth episode. Which I know, shouldn't technically count but it perfectly demonstrates just how much they've changed each other, especially how much Barry's changed Ralph. They believe, trust, and most of all, care about one another as if they really had been friends since the first season and that just warms my heart so much. Plus, Ralph's death hits SO hard every time I watch it 😭😭😭
