Okay, so this one's a bit different of a poll than my usual one. I just thought it would be fun to do something a little different this time around. Especially since this one ties into Valentine's Day, too.

And also, you know, to keep things schway 😉

Anyways, today, our challenge is to pick only one word to describe Barry and Iris' relationship.

It can literally be anything you chose, just the thing that comes to your mind first when thinking about these childhood friends to lovers (or in Barry's case for her, always lovers 😍)

Author's Note: If you're not a fan of these two's relationship then, feel free to do this challenge for whatever pairing you do like Barry or Iris in. Or as always, you can skip out on this one if you don't really enjoy any of them :)

Author's Opinion:

There are definitely three words that come to mind for me but, I'll order them down below so, I'm still following my own challenge. Lol.

3. Perfect: I know how corny this one sounds and if we're being completely honest, I don't really believe there's a such thing as someone being perfect. Because we're all complex human beings who make mistakes.

But when it comes to West-Allen, I'm more so talking about how perfect they are for each other.

2. Honesty: So many couples on television, no matter what genre of show they're in, fall into the same trap troupe of one of the people lying to each other in favor of more drama (exhibit A: Olicity).

But Barry and Iris never have done that, at least not when it comes to their relationship problems, that is.

Yes, they have had issues over the years, like we all do, but they always end up apologizing and making up in the end. And that's all anyone can really ask for.

1. Timeless: Now this is my first pick because they are truly the Golden Standard of what a television show couple should look like.

Barry is constantly being the most romantic guy to Iris, giving her all the love, support, and songs she deserves (🎶😍💍). And he always, always put his full effort into their relationship.

And Iris is quite possibly one of the most underrated wives I've seen in a show. Not only does she love Barry almost as much as he loves her, but she will never leave his side, even if she doesn't agree with his opinion.
She's always been a shoulder to cry on  and she will never stops believing in him, even when he doesn't believe in himself.

That type of relationship, that type of love, is the literal definition of the type of relationship I want to be in one day. No matter, if I'm the Barry or the Iris.

And because of all those reasons, West-Allen will forever be timeless for generations to come ❤💜
