OG vs. New Team Arrow ⚔

Hey, y'all, thanks for coming back for another one of these terrific Arrowverse polls 😉

Yeah, no. Even I have to admit that was a terrible attempt at an Arrow-themed joke 😂

Anyways, bad puns aside, today, our challenge is to decide which side of a not so popular agrument we all know from the sixth season of Arrow:

Was the original team or the new team in the right during their split due to trust issues in the mid season finale of season six?

(Feel free to say both or neither sides, too. Just whatever feels right to you :)

Author's Opinion:

Okay, I'll be one of the first to admit that this particular agrument was not the team's finest one, especially considering it eventually led to Ricardo Diaz's overall rise to power in the city itself.

In regard to exactly what each side in the fight stood for, I honestly felt too different ways throughout the course of the storyline so, here's my two opinions:

At first, I felt a lot more for the new team because they were right. Felicity, John, and especially Oliver never fully allowed them to really join the team. Let alone, trust them enough to talk to them like they did each other.

I also felt pretty bad for Rene because Oliver even admitted that if someone had threatened to reveal him as The Green Arrow in the way that he was as Wildog, he would've done the same thing for William as Rene did for Zoe.

But as the story slowly progressed forward, I started to lose that feeling of sympathy a bit because they kind of became more childish than they did remorseful.

But that doesn't excuse the fact that the original team didn't even try to apologize until several episodes after the fight.

So overall, I simultaneously agree and disagree with both sides :)
