Ok, so here's an interesting one for us all the think about.

Both The Flash and Supergirl took up the chance to do a storyline revolving around exploring the true implications that can come with having heroes with God-like powers, only I want to ask you all which storyline and villain did it better?

Author's Opinion:

Okay, this one was pretty simple for me to answer, actually. And I have to go with Agent Liberty/Ben Lockwood.

Now, let me just start by saying that by no means do I agree with his methods of imprisoning all aliens just because they're different, but I feel like Supergirl gave us a better representation of that subject.

Both shows tried to show their primary antagonists with a more gradual decline in their mental stability (with Orlin blaming himself for Grace getting hit by the satellite shard and Ben's father giving him the dying wish of completing his lifelong goal to wipe out aliens).

I still think that Orlin had an interesting storyline, but I just felt more for Ben's because he didn't want to hurt anyone, including aliens for so many years, but his father kept yelling at him that if he didn't, none of his loved ones would be safe. And then when that statement came true, Ben just snapped.

So, I have to go with Agent Liberty because I feel like he was a more layered character than Cicada :)
