Third Person POV:

Kate, Lucky and Alfred are in the cave while Batman goes to the bank to find The Joker

Kate then decides to contact Y/N 

Kate: Hey, are you in the bank yet?

Y/N: I'm here.

She looks at the computer screen that has the live feed of Y/N's cowl being transmitted to it

Kate: What do you see?

Y/N: Bodies everywhere. The Joker may still be here in the vault. But i feel there's something more sinister going on here

Kate: Be careful.

He then uses an alternative entrance to the vault

Batman breaks through the floor of the elevator shaft using his explosive gel and finds himself in the parking lot of the bank, where he sees the Black Mask and his thugs loading money into the van.

Black Mask: Think you can just waltz on into my bank, huh?

Y/N: Roman. I'm here for the Joker.

Black Mask: The Joker? Never heard of him. How 'bout you doll? Know the Joker?

The hostage seems to be laughing

Hostage: The who?

After that, a man with a white suit and a bag over his head is brought over by a goon

Black Mask: And you, sir? Name Joker ring a bell?

He takes the bag off the man's head, revealing it to be Roman Sionis

Roman: You sunova bitch! You think you can steal from me and get away with it? You're a dead man! Dead!

Black Mask then start beating Roman with his pistol

Black Mask: Can't... you just... play... along!?

Black mask then takes off the mask, revealing a man with green hair and white skin

(Bill Skarsgard as The Clown Prince of Crime, The Jester of Genocide, The Joker)

Y/N: It's been you this whole time. You hired the assassins. You've been running Sionis' operation.

Joker: Well, technically, it's my operation now. Isn't that right boys?

Batman sees the henchmen taking off their masks and putting on clown masks

Y/N: You've got me. Now let her go.

Joker: Oh life would be so simple if you were all I wanted. No, you're just a teeny little distraction compared to what I've got up my sleeve.

He laughs and shoots Batman couple of times.

Joker: Here! Have a laugh on me.

He tosses the laughing woman at Batman before blowing up the place

A couple of seconds later, he wakes up by the woman's side

Batman goes to check her pulse

Y/N: She's dead.

He then hears Joker's men coming to the building and decides to retreat

Batman then returns to the cave and gets welcomed by Lucky

Y/N: Hey there, Lucky.

He then takes off his mask

Kate: Hey, I saw the footage. Are you okay?

Y/N: I need a bath.

Alfred: Sir, a maniac threw a vault door at you.

Y/N: I'm fine, Alfred.

Y/N takes a bath

Exiting the bathroom and getting in his room, Y/N sees Kate there

Y/N: Don't get me started.

Kate: Y/N, don't keep these things to yourself.

Y/N: I'm not keeping anything to myself, because there is nothing to talk about.

Kate: Are you that afraid of letting me in?

Y/N raises an eyebrow

Y/N: What?

Kate: You're afraid of being vulnerable because you think that people won't like this side of you. You isolate yourself so much that the only people in your life are me and Alfred...and you don't even talk to your best friend.

Y/N: I isolate myself because it's better for me.

Kate: Bullshit! Isolating yourself doesn't make you strong...it makes you weak and fearful. If you go down this path, you'll only hurt yourself even more. Maybe you're like this because of Andrea.

Y/N looks shocked as he hadn't heard this name in a long time

Y/N: How do you know about Andrea?

Kate: I saw the postcards at the cave...and Alfred told me about you two and when she left. You miss her, don't you?

Y/N: Of course I do, but she's old news for me. I only want you, Kate.

Kate: See? Not even ten minutes of our little therapy and you're already saying your feeling

He buries his face on Kate's shoulder and sighs deeply

Y/N: I let that woman die and now a maniac is on the loose.

Kate: It wasn't your fault.

When they lie down on the bed together, Y/N and Kate cuddle and sleep

Y/N now knows that Kate is his happy place since Andrea. He finally has someone he can be vulnerable, weak and soft in his certain moments

Kate makes Y/N more human...without the need to be the "mask" all the time. He can finally be Y/N Wayne, a caring boyfriend

The morning after

Kate wakes up to Lucy licking her face

Kate: Ugh. I'm up, I'm up

She sees that Y/N isn't there

In the cave Y/N is doing his morning routine, working out

Y/N's POV:

After I finish my workout, I see Kate getting out of the elevator

Kate: Good morning, handsome.

Y/N: Good morning.

We kiss

Kate: Wow, you're really sweaty.

Y/N: Huh, I guess I'll need a bath and a little help.

She laughs 

Kate: You're such a jerk sometimes.

I pick her up in my arms and we head to the shower, where we have a hot, steamy bath

After our bath, I get changed and have breakfast with Kate

Alfred: Are you headed to Wayne Enterprises, master Y/N?

Y/N: Yes. I need to ask Lucius for a favor.

Kate: Can you drop me off at the Bishop Security building?

Y/N: Sure. May I ask why?

Kate: I'm taking over as CEO today.

Y/N: Whoa! Congratulations.

Kate: I mean, I'll still have to collaborate with the FBI since they're all over the company after what happened with my mom, but I think it'll be okay.

Minutes later, I am now talking to Lucius after dropping Kate at the Bishop Security building

Y/N: Lucius, you got a minute?

Lucius: Always, Mr. Wayne.

Y/N: I need a custom job this time. Do you still have that nomex stuff?

Lucius: Of course. What do you need?

Y/N: A suit...for a friend.

Lucius: Any suggestions?

Y/N: Make it black, stealthier and something that covers her face.

Lucius: Her face?

I show him a picture of Kate's original suit

Y/N: Yeah, just take a look at these pictures. How fast can you make it?

Lucius: You can have it in the evening.

Y/N: Thanks Lucius.

A couple of hours later, I'm in the cave investigating more about The Joker

Alfred: I took the liberty of taking Lucky for a walk in your abscence, sir.

Y/N: I appreciate it, Alfred.

Some time goes by and Kate comes back from work

She kisses me on the cheek 

Y/N: How was your day?

Kate: Amazing. I convinced the board that the Bishop name doesn't have anything to do with what my mom did. The company belonged to my father, and he was a good man. In a nutshell, my company isn't closing its doors, but there's a lot of work to do.

Y/N: I'm sure Bishop Security's future is in safe hands.

Kate: What are you doing?

Y/N: Checking some of Sionis' properties and where Joker might have taken him. My main guess is the steel mill

Alfred then arrives with a case with the Wayne Enterprises logo on it

Alfred: Sir, Mr. Fox left this for you

Y/N: Kate, would you mind opening that?

Kate opens the box and sees her new suit, along with some more trick arrows

Kate: This is amazing, Y/N.

Y/N: Glad you like it. Now suit up, Hawkeye

She and I suit up and I take a look at her new suit

Kate: How do I look?

Y/N: Breathtaking.

We get in the Batwing and head off to the Steel Mill
