Third Person POV:

Y/N and Kate are in the Batcave in their respective suits looking at the computer investigating about the Graysons death

Alfred is also there

Kate: What are you looking for?

Y/N: Dick mentioned a name...Zucco. I believe he has something to do with this.

He digs up some dirt on Zucco as his face appears on the big screen

(Tony Sirico as Tony Zucco)

Y/N: Former circus knife-thrower. Killed his father in a knife-throwing act. Now he's a mobster. Dick's father, John Grayson filed a report for extorsion on Zucco's part. What happened at the circus was no accident...Zucco did that.

Meanwhile, in Wayne manor, Dick was sleeping peacefully until he heard Lucky scratching his door

Dick: Huh...Lucky?

He opens the door and the one eyed dog sprints away

Dick: Wait!

Dick runs after him 

When Lucky stops running, he sniffs an old clock by the wall and starts scratching it

Dick: What is it, boy?

Dick pulls the clock's string and a secret door opens, revealing an elevator

Lucky gets in the elevator and Dick joins him

When the door opens, he sees a large cave with Batwing on the platform 

Dick: Whoa...

He looks around and sees Y/N, Kate and Alfred by the large computer screen

They look at him with surprise on their faces

Dick looks directly at Y/N, who was not wearing his mask, but was wearing his suit

Dick: Wait...you're Batman?

Y/N: What are you doing here?

Dick: I...found the old clock on the wall and it revealed an elevator that took me here. You're not gonna arrest me, are you?

Y/N: Well, that depends wether you'll tell anyone what you saw here.

Dick: Are you kidding me? I just found out that my foster family are superheroes! I'm keeping this secret.

He looks at the picture of Zucco on the screen

Dick: He...he was the one that did it. I know it!

Kate: How?

Dick: He came to the circus once. Asked for protection money. My father refused and went to the police. Zucco found out. And the next day...that happened.

Kate goes to comfort Dick and hugs him

Alfred then goes over to him and gives him a picture of Dick and his family

Alfred: Master Wayne told me you'd like it.

Dick's eyes start getting all teary and he runs to Y/N and hugs him

Y/N: I know we'll never replace them and I don't want you to think that we are doing it. But know that we want you to feel safe, okay?

Dick sniffs

Dick: Okay.

After that, the computer beeps

Y/N: Got a lead on Zucco. Alfred, take Dick upstairs.

Dick: Wait, I want to help! Zucco deserves what's coming for him!

Y/N: You'll stay at the manor until we come back. Let's go.

Y/N puts on his mask and they get in the Batwing

Minutes later, they arrive at the docks in Manhattan and see mobsters getting in a warehouse

Y/N: I'm going in guns blazing, cover me.

Kate: Be careful.

He knocks on the door and as a goon was about to check out who it was through the eyehole, Batman kicks the door down on the goon's face

The mobsters all get up from their table where they were playing poker and start shooting towards the vigilante

Y/N: Now, Hawkeye!

Kate shoots arrows at the mobsters as Batman throws a smoke bomb to the ground, making the mobsters not see anything through the cloud of smoke

He takes down each and every single one of them

A goon was watching everything, terrorised, seeing a man in black grab his friends and take them to the smoke cloud with no effort at all

He emptied his magazine, but the panic just made him keep pulling the trigger

When Batman steps out of the shadow, the goon doesn't see a man, he sees a terrifying monster

Goon: Wh-what the hell are you?

Y/N: I'm your favorite nightmare.

He grabs the goon by the neck

Y/N: Zucco. Tell me where he is.

Zucco: I'm right here, Batman.

He turns around to see Zucco holding Kate hostage with a gun to her head

Y/N: Zucco...she doesn't have anything to do with this. This whole thing, it's between you and me.

Zucco: You damn right it is...

A large enforcer knocks Batman down

Moments later, he wakes up with Alfred talking on his earpiece and sees himself tied to a knife-throwing board in the same circus where the Graysons were killed

Alfred: Sir! Master Dick snuck out of the house! He took your motorcycle.

He sees Kate tied to a chair with a silver tape covering her mouth

Zucco: Ah, you're both awake. You see...me and my pops were in the circus business. We were knife throwers. Well, I threw the knives and dad hoped I wouldn't hit him.

Kate: Mmph mmph mmmm!(Oh my God, we don't care!)

He starts throwing knives and hits the board, missing Batman on purpose

Zucco: I would often say "ladies and gentlemen, please don't do this at home. I am a trained professional. Until one day...I missed.

He throws the knife to Batman's head, but a sandbag comes down and blocks the knife, saving Batman's life

A young boy with a red and green suit with an "R" on his chest leaps down and faces Zucco

It was the same suit that Dick was wearing that night at the circus, only with a few changes

It was Dick under that mask

Zucco: So Batman's got family too...cute.

Zucco's enforcer tries to attack Dick by charging towards him, but the young man uses his acrobatic abilities to leap over the large man

Batman uses this distraction to try to cut off the ropes that were tying him

He sees Kate falling down the chair trying to free herself

While Dick was fighting Zucco and his enforcer, he gets punched in the face by the mobster, making Batman get angrier

Zucco: I watched you take down my brother, Batman. Now, it's your turn.

Y/N: Hold on! Brother? What are you talking about?

Zucco: My brother's behind bars because of you!

Y/N: Do you have the slightest idea of how little that narrows it down?

Zucco: He worked for Falcone!

Y/N: Oh yeah, that guy. I punched him in the face. I'd assume you know how that feel.

Zucco: Wha-

Kate, who just freed herself, gets up and punches Zucco in the face

After that, Batman manages to cut the ropes that were tying him up

He charges at Zucco's enforcer, hitting him with a flying elbow

Zucco quickly gets up and starts running away

Dick grabs one of the throwing knives and misses him on purpose

He then leaps in front of him with a knife in his hand

Zucco: Now hold on, kiddo.

He throws the knife on the ground before punching Zucco right on the nose

After that, Batman calls the police

A couple of minutes later, they watch from a distance the cop cars and Comissioner Gordon arresting Zucco and his Goon

Y/N: Nice punch. But I thought you wanted Zucco to get what he deserved.

Dick: Well...he did get what he deserved. Justice.

Kate: Look at this, he's starting to sound like you.

Kate hugs Dick

Y/N: We need to have a talk about you stealing my bike.

Kate: Yeah...how can you ride a motorcycle in the first place?

Dick: Come on, I was raised in a circus, I pretty much learned with those Evel Knievel wannabes on how to ride a bike.

After that, Y/N takes his motorcycle and puts it inside the Batwing via the back hatch

The three of them get in and fly back to the manor

Y/N: I was thinking, Dick. I don't think Y/N Wayne has what it takes to raise you

The young acrobat scoffs

Dick: Yeah...he's fine, but he's very busy. Maybe I can learn a thing or two with Batman and Hawkeye here.

Kate: Well, we'd have to think about giving you a hero name first.

Dick looks at the  "R" symbol on his chest

Dick: How about...Robin?
