Third Person POV:

Barton Homestead, Iowa

Clint is watching the news with Laura in the living room while Kate plays with Nate, Lyla and Cooper

He sees that there was a break out at Rikers island and Vicki Vale is covering the story

Vicki: ...It appears that the criminal known as Black Mask has wreaked havoc in Rikers the same night Julian Gregory Day was to be executed. He is now making Commissioner Gillian Loeb as a hostage.

Clint: Kate! Come here, please!

Kate arrives in the living room and watches the news

Kate: My God...

Clint: I told him that someone was about to make moves with Fisk out of the picture. Black Mask started it.

Kate: I need to make a call.

She then calls Alfred, knowing that Y/N is out there doing what he does

Alfred: Yes, Ms. Bishop?

Kate: Hi Alfred, can Y/N pick up the phone?

Alfred: He's...busy at the moment

Kate: He's going to Rikers, right?

Alfred: Indeed he is. I'll tell him you called.

Meanwhile, Y/N arrives at Rikers and leaps off the jet Lucius gave him and drops down 

When he gets inside the prison, hensees that a Black Mask thug is threatening the prison's warden with a baseball bat

Warden: No! Please!

Batman approaches the thug from behind

Warden: Wait, what is that? Behind you!

Mask Thug: Oh please, do you really think I'm falling for that?

He turns around and sees Batman

Mask Thug: Back off!

He tries to attack Batman, but he blocks it and elbows the goon to the face, knocking him out

The Warden sees that and gets scared

He picks up the baseball bat from the ground and tries to hit Batman, but he blocks it again

Warden: I heard the rumours, but...you're not supposed to be real.

Y/N: Who tore this place apart?

He then hears a wild roar coming from within the prison

Warden: I don't know what it is, but it's huge...and definitely not human

Y/N: Where is Black Mask?

Warden: I don't know, maybe one of his men knows where he's headed

Batman explores more of the prison , finding some goons along the way

He fights them and interrogates a conscious thug

Batman steps on the man's neck

Y/N: Where is Black Mask?

Mask Thug 2: How the hell should I know?

Y/N: I'm going to make you talk. How much you pain you endure, well...that's in your hands.

Mask Thug 2: Screw you.

Y/N: I don't have time for this...

He puts more pressure on the man's neck

Mask Thug 2: Okay! He's headed to the execution chamber with Loeb

Y/N: Smart move, now you get to take a nap

He knees the goon to the face

When Batman gets to the holding cells block, he sees a drone

Shortly after that, he sees a tall, scaly figure bite a guard's head off

Alfred: Good God...

(Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc)

When Batman arrives at the execution chamber, he sees Black Mask and the giant Crocodile with Commissioner Loeb

Loeb: What's this all about, Sionis? Haven't I always come through for you?

Black Mask: You may have, Gillian. But things have changed.

Loeb: What are you talking about? After all I've done for you...

The giant crocodile man, puts Loeb in the execution chamber and leaves the room with Black Mask

By the time Batman gets in the room, Loeb's already dead

He hears a chopper pulling up, meaning Black Mask has gone to the rooftop

Before going up, he sees the drone he saw earlier smashed into pieces

Batman grabs its memory card

When he gets to the top, Black Mask gets away in a helicopter

That leaves Batman and the human reptile to fight each other

Croc: Thought I caught your scent.

Y/N: I know I caught yours.

He starts by punching Croc in the face 

After that, Croc tries to bite Batman's head off, but the vigilante stands his ground and manages

Croc then tries to throw  a propane tank at him, but Batman throws a batarang at it, causing it to explode

After that, Batman finally knocks Croc down

He decides to interrogate him

Y/N: Your boss, where is he going?

Croc: Only boss a'me, is me.

He gets punched in the face even more

Y/N: You want teeth. I want answers!

Croc: Wait till Black Mask's assassins get through with you.

Y/N: What assassins?

Croc laughs

Croc: Whoever wins is gonna be famous and rich.

Batman punches him one more time, knocking him out

Y/N: At least we know he won't be ugly.

When he turns around, he sees Gordon, cops and Harvey Bullock, Gordon's new partner

Cop: Hold it right there!

Bullock: We're taking you in!

Y/N: Not tonight...

He presses a button on his gauntlet before jumping off the ledge and landing on the jet, escaping Rikers Island

Y/N's POV:

I arrive at the cave and leave the jet and see Alfred standing there

 Loeb is dead and I ran into a human-shaped Crocodile. Not exactly how I thought the rest of Christmas would go. I gotta figure out more about these assassins that the Croc told me about

Alfred: Sir, I was looking at some footage from your cowl and I have a question: Did he say assassinS? As in more than one?

I grab the the drone's memory card and put it in the computer

Y/N: That's right.

Alfred: And you heard that from a Crocodile Man?

Y/N: His name is Killer Croc, he's already behind bars.

Alfred: I pity his cellmate

Y/N: Let's see what else is on the hard drive, hmm...They're all hired killers, the best in the business. Black Mask isn't messing around.

The computer pulls the image of all the assassins

Y/N: Slade Wilson...Deathstroke. Former military subject of a failed medical experiment.

Alfred: Failed, you say?

Y/N: Garfield Lynns, a.k.a. Firefly. Burns on 90% of his body...his obsession is going to be his end

Alfred: How unlike someone I know...

Y/N: Here's a face I don't recognize...Copperhead. Strange, these reports reference a male, not a female

Y/N: Floyd Lawton, a.k.a. Deadshot, expert sharpshooter.

Y/N: Street tough named Lester Buchinski. Calls himself "Electrocutioner".

Alfred: Shocking...

Y/N: Benjamin Pointdexter, a.k.a. Bullseye. He worked for Fisk.

Alfred: Looks like he's taking new job offers.

Y/N: Shiva...what is she doing here?

Alfred: Who is she, sir?

Y/N: She and I trained together with Master Kirigi...her skill is unmatched.

Alfred: You two have a lot of catching up to do.

Y/N: And last but not least...Bane. Super soldier that generally operates in Mexico. Why would he be taking money as a hired killer?

Y/N: I'm going to find out who was operating this drone and make them tell me what they know. Then, I'm gonna find Black Mask...and put an end to this.
