Third Person POV: 

After days without sleeping, Y/N finally gets a good night's sleep after a long, busy day. Clint and Kate are getting trick arrows and new suits from the LARPers

Y/N's POV:

I am feeling much better considering I jumped off a building last night

And just I get up from bed, my phone rings.

Kate: Hey, where have you been?

Y/N: What do you mean where have I been? I just woke up.

Kate: It's 3 P.M. Another long night?

Y/N: I kinda jumped off a building last night.

Kate: You what?!

Y/N: It's complicated, but I'm better now.

Kate: Anyway, meet me and Clint in this place at 8 P.M.

She sends me an adress

Kate: I'd also like to know if you want to go to the Bishop Security holiday party at Rockefeller Center.

Y/N: I'd love to. But only under one condition.

Kate: Okay, I'll bite. What is it?

Y/N: I get to go with you.

I hear Kate chuckle

Kate: Deal.

Y/N: See you later, Kate.

Alfred sees me smiling

Y/N: What?

A couple of hours later, I meet Clint and Kate on a rooftop at the adress Kate sent me

Y/N: What are we doing here?

Clint: Something very important to me is pinging inside that apartment. It was stolen from a black market auction. I need it back.

Y/N: Seems pretty quiet to me.

Clint: This is our chance.

Kate: This would've been easier if we were on a higher rooftop.

Clint: That's what you think.

Kate: Yeah, exactly. That's why I just said it.

Clint: Kate, you always wanna prioritize a quick exit over a quick entrance, so when things go sideways, and they usually do, you have an exit strategy. That's for you too, Richie Rich.

Y/N: Thanks for the advice.

Clint: I won't be long in there, so if you both see something, warn me, alright? Kate?

When we look around, we see that Kate is gone and see her crossing the street below us

Y/N: Oh, that was good.

Clint: Stop drooling, Y/N. Kate? I told you you're supposed to be on lookout with Y/N.

Kate: Yeah, but of the three of us, who do you trust up there to not get distracted?

Alfred, who was on comms, manages to listen to the conversation and only talk to me

Alfred: Ms. Bishop is a very bold young woman, sir.

Y/N: It's what I like about her.

Clint: Who are you talking to?

Y/N: Just talking to myself.

Clint: Anyway, Kate, I'll need you to use your grappling hook arrow to anchor yourself in. Propel down to the side of the building to the window, if it's locked, break in quietly.

Kate: Yeah, love all of that. Great plan, just a slight tweak though.

Kate then helps an old man get in the building with some grocery bags

Kate: I'm in the elevator.

Y/N: Smart.

Kate: Okay, I'm at the door. Living room's all clear. Whoa! Strobe lights.

Clint: Strobe lights? What do you see?

Kate: What are we looking for?

Clint: A watch...a vintage Rolex. Belongs to someone I used to work with.

Y/N: Is that all, Clint?

Clint: They've been out of the game a long time, but their identity is still attatched to that watch.

Kate: And if the tracksuits find out about it?

Clint: It would blow their cover.

After a few seconds, Kate seems to find the watch

Kate: Got the watch.

Y/N: Nice.

Kate: Hang on, that's not all. Clint, somebody is taking notes on your family.

Clint: What?!

Kate: "Clint Barton. Wife: Laura. Daughter: Lila, age 14. Son: Cooper, age 16. Son: Nate..." What the...

Clint: Kate, get out of there.

Kate: Why?

Clint: That light's an alarm. A silent alarm for people that can't hear.

And just like that, I realise.

Y/N: It's Maya's apartment.

I rush to the street below and after that, I hear Kate and Clint grunting over my earpiece

Y/N: What's going on?

Kate: Maya's here.

Clint: I can see that.

Kate: Then why didn't you tell me?

Clint: I did. Maya's on the roof with me.

I use my grappling gun and go all the way up to Maya's apartment.

Third Person POV:

Clint is fighting on the roof with a masked assailant while Kate is fighting Maya inside the apartment

When Y/N grapples up, he sees Kate fighting Maya

Kate: A little help?

Y/N: On it.

Y/N tries to hit Maya, but gets kicked in the chest by her

He uses the momentum of the fall to make a suicide kip up

He gets up quickly and sweeps Maya's leg

Y/N: Kate, come on!

He grabs her and they rappel down to the street

They cross the street to get to where Clint is

Y/N: Take the stairs, I'll meet you at the top.

When he grapples up, he is then surprised by the masked figure trying to kick him. 

Luckily, his reflexes helped him and he dodges the kick

The attacker then tries to pull a gun on Y/N, but just as they were about to pull the trigger, Maya comes out of nowhere and kicks them both at the same time

The masked figure then uses a device on their wrists to shock both Maya and Y/N

After that, Kate tries to attack them, resulting in the attacker throwing Kate off the roof

Y/N: No!

Y/N rushes to the ledge just to see Kate stuck to a cable

Kate: Pull me up!

Clint then cuts the cable, making Kate fall on some Christmas lights, softening her fall

Clint: Get outta here!

Y/N: What the hell are you doing?

Clint: This is not her fight. And frankly, it isn't yours either.

Y/N: I'm not leaving you to die here. You're skilled, but they're just as skilled as you, old man.

Y/N and Clint continue to fight both Maya and the masked assailant on the roof

When Kate comes back to the roof, she shoots a sonic arrow, making everyone there go deaf for a few seconds

After that, Kate shoots an arrow to Maya's shoulder, making her leave the place

Meanwhilwhe masked figure and Y/N are trading kicks and punches

After that, the attacker grabs their gun and shoots Y/N twice in the chest area of his armor and shock-punches him with the wrist device, knocking him down

Kate: No!

Clint then disarms and throws the masked figure, unmasking them in the process

The young, blond woman who was revealed to be the attacker, escapes the roof using a cable

Kate then kneels down close to Y/N, still unconscious and puts her finger on his neck to check a pulse

Kate: Oh good, you're alive. Clint, who the hell was that?

Clint: You don't wanna know, Kate.

Kate: I cannot be your partner if you don't tell me what's going on.

Clint: You're not my partner! Do you understand that? You never were. Someone has hired a Black Widow assassin. This has gotten very real, very quickly, so I'm doing this alone.

Kate is almost crying when she hears that

Kate: No, you're not. Look, I know tonight didn't go as planned, but I chose to be here. I understand the risk, I understand all of that.

Clint: I'm not gonna do it. Do you hear me? I don't want your help and I sure as hell don't want Y/N's help. We're done.

He then leaves the roof 

By the time Y/N wakes up, Clint's already gone

Y/N: What happened? Did we win.
