After having our son (S/n) Tommy Merlyn we got a call that Thea and the others had been kidnapped by Talia Al Ghul. I was not able to go so Malcom was going to help bring her back home.

"Malcom please be safe." I said pecking his lips.

"I always am." He said with a chuckle.

"That why you have a mechanic arm?" I asked annoyed.

"I have this arm because I forgot what was important." He said kissing my forehead.

"I love you." I whispered as he smiled down at me.

"And I you my Asia." He said leaning down and kissing me.

I watched him leave the room and go to our son's nursery. I leaned against the door with a smile on my face as I heard him humming as he rocked her son back and forth.

"I love you (S/n) and I will return to you. Protect mommy while I'm gone." Malcom whispered as he kissed our son's forehead.

He placed him back into his crib and then pulled me into a hug.

"I love you. I will see you again." He whispered as tears streamed down my face.

"Bring her back Malcom.... bring our daughter back." I said as I clung to him.

We walked to the door and he kissed my forehead once more before turning to leave.

"Goodbye my love." He said turning to look at me once more.

"This isn't goodbye, it's I'll see you later." I said clinging to the doorframe.

I watched as he got into his car and drove away. Leaving me alone with our son and my fears.

Two months later

I heard my doorbell ring and I stood up and ran to the door. I open it expecting to see Malcom, but instead I saw Oliver and another man.

"(Y/n).... I am so sorry." He said looking at me sadly.

"No..... no Oliver he can't... he can't." I said as tears streamed down my face.

He hugged me tightly as I fell to the floor and clung to him. I cried as all my fears came true. After I calmed down Oliver explained everything to me. He told me how Malcom gave his life for Thea's. When I asked about Thea I learned that she was in a coma. I learned that the man with Oliver was Slade Wilson and he needed my help to find my brother, Joe. I told him everything I knew about Joe and where he would be hiding and then we talked about other things. After sometime we became close again and I helped him find my brother and put him in jail. It was hard the first year without my husband, but thankfully Thea and Slade was beside me helping me through it all.

Five years later

I woke up to the sound of a doorbell. I groaned as I stood up and walked towards the door with a frown.

"I'm coming!" I yelled as it kept ringing.

I made it to the door and open it with a frown.

"What do you wa-" I froze as soon as my eyes landed on him.

"Well I was wanting to see my wife and son." Malcom said with a smirk.

"How?" I whispered looking him over.

"Landmine almost killed me but I was able to shoot a arrow above me and get to a tree. Nearly died, took some guards down. Also broke my foot and Oliver left me on the island after it exploded. Trapped their for five years." He said with a chuckle.

"I missed you." I said hugging him tightly.

"And I missed you both." He whispered hugging me tightly.

(S/n) walked out of his room and the moment his eyes landed on his father he broke into a run and jumped into his father's arms. I laughed as Malcom hugged him and put his arm around me.

"Looks like you where right. It wasn't goodbye, it was I'll see you later." Malcom said smiling down at me.
