CHAPTER SIXTY
ONLY YOU, PT. 1
╚═════ ═════╝

THE NEXT AFTERNOON WAS COLD AND WET. The sky above them was crying rain drops, as were many of the people that were dressed in the color black. Teresa never favored death, and she especially hated the death of the funeral she was currently attending.

He had died protecting the woman he loved, and in result, Zelena did killed the man she loved.

One by one people stepped forward and placed an arrow — which had a rose wrapped around the middle — a top the coffin.

Teresa had always thought of Robin Hood as her closest thing to a father figure, given his and Marian's kindness toward her when she was just a child and was alone after her own mother abandoned her because she was afraid she would hurt her. He had even been kind enough to gift her with her first bow and arrows.

Teresa Holmes would forever remember Robin Hood.

When it was time for her to place a rose on the coffin, she stepped forward with Henry, the two of them sharing an umbrella to shield them from the falling rain. They both delicately placed an arrow on top of the coffin and stepped back as to let Emma, Snow and David walk up next.

As Teresa and Henry moved to stand behind Regina, Zelena arrived, carrying her and Robin's baby girl. Teresa's heart clenched as she realised that the tiny bundle in Zelena's arms would never get to meet her father, and the poor girl never even got to be named by him or his mother either. And little Roland, he was old enough to have known who his father was, and he was going to be an orphan.

Zelena stopped at Regina's side and glanced at her sister with a frown. It only made Teresa even more sad. The young archer couldn't even imagine how Regina felt right now, with having had to say goodbye to her true love, Alice, once again, and then now permanently losing Robin at the hands of Hades himself. And the saddest thing of all, was Robin Hood wouldn't be able to move on and find peace. The crystal was now forbidding him from moving on. As Regina had said Hades explained it, one minute you will be living, and the next, completely non-exisiant. You would ne loving one moment, dying the next, and never moving on or even going to the Underworld. Teresa didn't know where Robin would end up now that he could do either, but she knew it was most likely nowhere pleasant.

When everyone else began to leave as to give Regina, Zelena and the baby some privact, Teresa laced her fingers in Henry's, and the teenagers left the cemetery with heavy hearts.

For Robin Hood was something to the both of them.

After the funeral, everyone had made their way to Granny's. The diner wasn't cheerful like it usually was, instead the air hung heavy with sadness and dried up tears. At the counter, Teresa sat with Henry, her head resting on his shoulder as they sipped cocoa together in sadness.

Nearby, the dwarves were drinking a golden-colored liquor, honoring Robin Hood in silence as they clinked their glasses together before chugging back the shot.

"Teresa, Henry." The sound of Violet's caring voice made Teresa lift her head from Henry's shoulder to look over Henry and at the girl from Camelot.

"I just..." Violet bit her lip, her eyes full of sadness. "I wanted to say how sorry I am, for your loss. I know how much Robin Hood meant to the both of you."

"Thank you," they replied in unison.

"If there is anything I can do to help you in your time of grief, for I know a friend is always good to have, know that I am here."

Teresa gave the brunette girl a weak smile. "Thanks, Violet."

"Of course." It was silent for a moment before Violet spoke again. "I should get back home, to my father, I just...I wanted to make sure you were both okay first."

"We'll manage," Henry replied.

"We appreciate the concern, Violet, really we do."

Violet offered them a small smile before turning on her heel and leaving the diner to head home to her father.

The door opening once again caused Henry and Teresa to look over. This time it was Emma, and she made her way directly over to Regina, who sat at one of the booths with Zelena and the little pink bundle that was now named Robin — Zelena having decided to announce the name earlier, after the funeral — across from her.

Teresa and Henry couldn't tell what Emma was saying to Regina, but when the entire diner shook for a moment, which had caused Teresa to grip onto Henry's arm, the door suddenly burst open once more.

And in came someone no one in the diner thought they would ever see again.

"Swan! Is everything okay?" It was Hook that spoke, and he was very much alive. The question was...is how?

"What the hell..." Teresa muttered, her eyes as wide as saucers as she stared at supposedly deceased pirate. The same one who they had a funeral for just before Robin's.

"Hook..."

"What the bloody hell's the pirate doing here?" Zelena asked, just as shocked as everyone else.

"We thought we left you in the Underworld," Snow said.

"Aye, you did but now I'm back."

Teresa was the one to ask the question on everyones mind. "How?"

"Given that blast of magic, there's only one person not present who's powerful enough for something like that."

"Gold."

"He's got the Olympian crystal, or part of it, anyway," Zelena said, as they now stood in the clock tower. "Some of it must have survived. I can still feel the aura from it."

"Yeah, you're not the only one," Regina uttered. He used it to cast a tethering spell."

"Tethering spell? What was Gold attaching the crystal to?"

"Storybrooke's magic," Regina said in realization. "That's why he cast a spell here."

"With that crystal, he can harness all of this town's magic for his own purpose."

"Gold already has the power of all the Dark Ones. Why does he need more?" David asked.

"To wake Belle. True love's kiss didn't work because she doesn't want to be with him."

Hook nodded. "Aye, and once the Crocodile wakes Belle, do you think he'll stop there? Do you think he'll just turn the bloody crystal and all of its power over to us?"

"Let's go get that crystal."

Regina nodded. "Let's. Where should we start?"

"Actually, um...I was thinking maybe you should sit this one out," Emma said.

Regina stared at the blonde savior in disbelief. "Oh, that's why you were trying to be delicate with me. You're worried the Evil Queen is about to come out to play."

"No, I just want what's best for you."

"No, you don't. When you're upset, we follow you to Hell. But when I'm upset, I get a time-out."

"O-Okay..." Emma stammered "You're not in any state to think straight about this."

"And you don't get to tell me what to do," Regina retorted, causing Henry to sigh from where he stood next to Teresa.

Henry began to climb the stairs, and when he reached the top, he stared at them with pleading eyes. "Moms, please."

"Henry, now's not the time," Emma told him, before she turned back around to face Regina. "Maybe just take a minute to cool off and think about it."

Regina looked torn, and after a moment, she sneered. "You don't want my help, fine. I'll fix this on my own."

With a wave of her hands, Regina disappeared in a cloud of purple smoke.

Henry closed his eyes, sadness and concern washing over him. His mother was hurting all over again from yet again lost love that she didn't deserve to have happen to her, and when her fragile heart, he feared his adoptive mother would do something she will regret later on.

"Kid..." Emma sighed as she place her hand on her sons shoulder. "Go to my place and stay there. You'll be safe, okay? We got this."

Henry hesitated, before turning and retreating down the stairs. "I mean it, Henry. Go right home."

On his way past the others, he caught Teresa's wrist and dragged her along with her, which had caused her to stumble for a moment before she regained her footing and followed after him.

When they got outside, Henry started heading straight toward the pawn shop, whilst pulling out his phone and sending a quick text message.

"I know that look," Teresa said, her eyebrows knitted together as she stared at the side of Henry's face. "What are you thinking of doing, Henry?"

"Something that I'm going to need your help with," Henry replied. When they arrived at the pawn shop, Henry ripped the door open and walked in.

Teresa watched as he made his way straight to the back of the counter, where he pulled back a painting and began unlocking a safe. She raised an eyebrow. "Okay...seriously Henry, what're you planning on doing?"

"I'm leaving."

Teresa heart fell. "W-What?"

"My grandpa is trying to steal magic, Teri, so I need to destroy it."

"How exactly do you plan on destroying magic?"

Henry reached into his jacket, pulling out the shimmering author's pen, which caused her to stare at him in disbelief.

"Henry, you promised you would never use that pen to do anything besides record what happens."

"What I'm about to do is for the greater good." Henry grabbed a piece of paper before placing it on the counter and writing. Instantly, the Olympian crystal appeared in his palm.

"Henry..."

"This entire situation has made me realize how bad it is. It's always magic. Always. Magic turned my mom into a Dark One, it took away Alice and Robin from my other mom, it took away your mother, Teri, and now...now I think it's gonna tear my parents apart." Henry walked around the counter until he was standing directly in front or her. "I used to think there was light and dark magic, but it's all bad. I know that you don't use it for bad, Teri, but magic is always unpredictable. Look around this shop. These...these are Geppetto's parents."

Teresa frowned as she stared at a pair of wooden puppets, having no idea that they used to be actual people.

Henry then lifted a rather sharp needle and then a snowglobe. "This needle has put dozens of people under a curse they can't wake from, and this...an entire village is frozen in there. It's hurt so many people."

Teresa let out a small breath before nodding her head. "I can't imagine how this is for you, Henry. And I understand what why you want to do this, so if you need my help, you can count on me to give it."

Henry smiled in relief. He had previously been thinking that she wouldn't help him, due to her having magic, but his thoughts had been wrong. "Thank you."

"What can I do to help you?"

"I'm going to destroy magic once and for all, and while I'm gone, I need you to cover for me. They'll believe you whatever you say about where I am."

"Henry, no! You can't go and do this on your own — "

"I won't be alone."

Teresa's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What? W-Well then who's going with you?"

"Violet asked what she could do for us, so I know that she will be willing to help me do this."

Teresa's face fell at the mention of Henry taking Violet instead of her. "Violet?"

Henry stepped forward, his heart clenching at the sad look in her eyes. It was clear to him that she wanted to go, but his family wouldn't believe Violet's lie about where he is, only Teresa's. "I would take you, Teri, you know that, but I need you to be here. To make sure my family doesn't realise that I'm gone, they'll believe you with whatever you feed them because of who we are."

Teresa let out a sigh. "Alright, I'll cover your tracks."

Henry stepped forward and placed a lingering kiss to her cheek, which resulted in her heart racing. "Thank you."

When morning came, Teresa stood in Snow and David's apartment, looking down at a town map that Emma was leaning over. They may be still searching for Gold, but her thoughts were solely on Henry Mills and if he and Violet were okay.

"So far, no sign of Gold, which means we need to expand our search perimeter to include the woods," Emma said. "Mom, Teri, maybe you could help with that since you both can track the best out of all of us."

Before they could agree to help, the door opened and Regina stomped in, wildly looking around as if she were in search of someone. She was. "Where is he?"

Teresa adverted her gaze elsewhere, already knowing that Regina was asking about Henry and not Gold.

"I told you. We got this. We'll find Gold."

"Not Gold," Regina said. "Henry. I haven't been able to find him all morning, and the last person he was with, according to you, was Teresa."

All eyes were now on Teresa, who was doing her best to not look at any of them.

"Teresa, where is Henry?" Emma asked.

The blonde teenager bit her lip and briefly closed her eyes, before saying, "I can't tell you."

"Like hell you can't," Regina snapped. "He is my son."

"I promised I would help him," Teresa said, finally looking up from the map. She met Regina's brown eyes.

"Help him with what?" Snow asked.

"Spit it out, archer!"

"Regina!" Snow warned, before turning to her friend, her expression softening. "Teresa, please tell us."

Teresa met her gaze, and after a moment, she let a sigh slip past her lips. "H-He's going to destroy the source of all of our problems."

"What is the source of all of our problems? What is he going to destr — "

"Well, I think I can answer that," Gold said as he stepped into the apartment. "The Olympian crystal and all the magic tethered to it. It would appear my grandson has outsmarted us all, used his authorial power to steal the crystal right out from under my nose."

"Why would Henry even do that...destroy magic?"

"We'd better hope he doesn't," Gold said.

"Why?" Teresa asked. "What happens if Henry succeeds?"

"Considering this town was built with magic, what do you think will happen?"

Teresa's eyes widened. Did Henry know this? No, he couldn't have known, or else he wouldn't have gone. If he succeeded, what will happen to us if the town disappears?

"He would never destroy magic if he knew it could hurt us," Emma said.

"I'll be sure to tell him that right before I take the crystal back."

Regina threw a fierce glare toward Gold. "Don't you dare go near my son."

"Sorry, dearie, but he's threatening me now." With a wave of his hand, Gold teleported himself from the apartment, which caused Teresa's heart race in panic, as worry for Henry seeped into her veins.

"Where did he go?" Regina asked, swiveling on her heel to face Teresa.

"I don't know, h-he wouldn't tell me."

"I know where we can find Henry," Emma said.

"Alright, Sheriff Swan...where is he?"

Emma picked up her phone from the table with a raised brow. "You think after all those times he ran away, I wouldn't put a GPS app on his phone? Let's get to the bug. We have to catch up to him."

"Where's he headed?"

"Boston." Emma collected her jacket from the table before racing out the door with Regina.

Teresa glanced at the remaining three — Hook, Snow and David — before following after the concerned mothers. "Wait!" She called, catching Emma's sleeve before she continue venturing down the stairs. "I'm coming with you."

"I think you've done enough, Teresa," Regina said.

Teresa scoffed at the attitude she was receiving from Regina. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you where Henry went, okay? I am. But I need to come."

Emma placed a gentle hand on Teresa's shoulder. "I understand why you would keep his promise to not tell us, Teresa, I do, but you need to sit this one out." Teresa went to protest, but Emma cut her off. "I know how you two feel about each other, so if you care about him, you'll stay here and help Killian and my parents. We can find Henry."

With that being said, Emma and Regina left, leaving behind a teenage girl, who's heart was now heavy.

"Is it true? Magic might disappear?" Merida said as her, some others from the Enchanted Forest, and all the Merry Men, including little Roland, walked toward them in the street outside the clock tower.

"Only if Henry destroys the crystal," Snow said. "Which he won't, not with Emma and Regina searching for him."

"Yeah, but what if they don't find him in time?" Merida asked in her thick accent. "How are we gonna get back without magic?"

"It won't be a problem if we send you home now," Snow said.

"We?" Zelena said, raising a brow at the raven haired woman. "I think you mean me, dear."

"But this time, summon the portal without the twister?"

Zelena rolled her blue eyes. "You heroes ruin all the fun. Very well." She waved the waved the wand, and suddenly, a very similar door to the one Teresa went through with her cousins Elsa and Anna, and Kristoff, appeared before them.

One by one, everyone began walking into the portal, muting a quiet thank you to Zelena for sending them home.

Roland strolled up to Teresa with a deep frown, his large brown eyes full of sadness. "Bye, Teresa."

"Don't say bye, I'll make sure to come and visit, how does that does?"

Roland eagerly nodded his head before wrapping his arms around the teenager.

"Are you sure Regina won't mind us leaving without a goodbye?" asked one of the Merry Men.

"She'll understand," Zelena told him. "Robin would want him to grow up in Sherwood forest."

After Roland pulled away from Teresa, Zelena knelt in front of hil. "We'll come and visit you soon, okay? And we'll even bring your baby sister."

Roland gave the former Wicked Witch a nod. Granny then bent down, which allow Roland to kiss his baby sisters forehead and mutter an I love you to the tiny pink bundle.

When Roland stepped back from his sister, he reached up his sleeve and pulled out feathers from an arrow. "For Regina. From one of my papa's arrows."

Teresa smiled.

Zelena gently took the feathers from the small child, offering him a smile. "How sweet. She'll cherish it."

With a final smile toward his baby sister and Teresa, Roland turned and stepped into the portal with the Merry Men.

Soon, the last of the Merry Men stepped through, and David turned to Zelena with a small sigh. "That's everyone. Let's close it up."

Zelena waved the way toward the portal, which shimmered green for just a moment before turning into a shade of blue. But it didn't close, instead a crackling noise met their ears and it continued to stay open. Suddenly, strong wind began to blow and the portal began to extend from the door and form a tunnel, almost like a twister.

"What's happening?!"

"Stand back!" Zelana shouted to Granny, who didn't hesitate to step away in order to protect Baby Robin.

"Zelena!"

"It must have something to do with magic being tied to that bloody crystal!"

The portal grew, and suddenly, they found themself being pulled in. Seconds later, they landed on a moist grass with grunts.

David helped Snow to her feet, as Teresa, Hook and Zelana climbed up on their feet by themselves.

"Perfect," Teresa said, throwing her hands up in the air. "Now where the hell are we?"

"Is everyone okay?" David asked.

"For now," Hook said. "Look." They followed Hook's gaze, and their eyes widened slightly at the sight before them. There was a large hole in the ground, on the other side of the divided ground, was a large mansion.

"Well, we're certainly not in Storybrooke anymore."

The brakes to the bus made a loud hissing noise as it came to a stop. Henry and Violet rose from their seats and stepped out, Violet immediately gasping at the tall buildings surrounding her.

"I thought the spires of Camelot were tall."

Henry chuckled. "Welcome to New York City." His smile then vanished after they began to walk, as he thought of Teresa. One day, when there was no danger after them, he would have to take her here, to New York. He would take her anymore she wanted, as long as he was with her.

"I can't imagine living here," Violet said as they walked down the sidewalk.

"It's overwhelming," Henry said. "I thought the same thing when I first went to Camelot, until you showed me and Teresa around."

"Well, I want to see this place, Henry, truly, but...but what does it have to do with destroying magic?"

"It's got to do with my dad," Henry replied. "Magic tore apart his family, too, when my grandpa became the Dark One."

"And did he want to destroy magic, too?" Violet questioned.

"The truth is, for a really long time. No one else knows this, not even my moms or Teresa. He made me promise not to tell anyone."

"It's safe with me, I promise."

Henry nodded, he knew he could trust her, seeing as she helped him with his first kiss in Camelot. She had given him a speech that gave him the courage to kiss Teresa for the first time. "See, that's why he was in New York. He was trying to find a way to protect himself in case his dad found him."

Violet nodded in understanding. "Right, and he thought the best way of doing that was by destroying magic. Did he ever figure it out?"

Henry shook his head as they crossed the busy streets of New York. "He died before he could, but I know he got close. He kept everything he found in a journal. It's got to be in my dad's apartment. Come on."

"If this isn't Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest, then where are we?" Teresa asked. She looked around in confusion before setting her gaze on Zelena, seeing as she was the one to open the portal in the first place.

"Well, wherever we are, I'd rather not stick around long enough to find out," David said. "Can you...use the wand and get us back to Storybrooke?"

Zelena let out a sigh as she held up the now broken wand. "Not quite."

"So we're trapped in this mysterious realm, wherever it is."

"You can fix it, right?" David asked, gesturing to the broken wand.

"Of course," Zelena said as she gave him sarcastic smile. "Do you happen to have any duct tape? We're not affixing the bumper to that God-awful truck of yours. This requires the proper potions, none of which I have with me."

"Well, then we're just gonna have to go find them," Snow said.

"How, Snow? We have no idea where the hell we are."

"Then we'll have to move quickly," Zelana said. "If we don't find Regina and Emma before Henry destroys magic, fixing this wand won't matter. We'll be cut off from Storybrooke for good."

Teresa suddenly perked up as she could an unknown sound coming from amongst the treeline. "Hold on, I hear something..."

Teresa began leading the way over to the treeline, where they then found a brown haired man in long coat clipping away at some vines.

"Excuse me," David called to him. "Can you tell us what land we're in?"

The man truly looked frightened, and he turned on his heel to leave, but not before Hook caught his arm and turned him back around. "No need to run!"

"Please don't hurt me," the man pleaded.

"We just want to know what land we're in."

"I'm not supposed to talk to strangers," the man said, fear swirling around in his eyes.

Snow's gaze softened as she stared at the frightened man. "It's okay. You don't need to be afraid of us."

"No, y-y-you don't understand. You shouldn't be here. You have to go."

"Well, that's what we want to do," Teresa said.

"We're trying to get home to our families, to a town called Storybrooke?" Snow explained.

"That's a s-strange name."

"We need magic to get back there."

"Can you help us?"

"Magic? N-No, no, no," the man stuttered. "M-Magic is dangerous. If I help you, I'll be punished."

Teresa let out a sigh. Of course, we're in a realm where we had to run into a man that can't speak to us because it's dangerous.

"Punished? By who?"

"By me." A dark skinned man that was dressed in white then stepped forward, and before they could even blink again, the man raised an object and hot stinging electricity hit their bodies.

Teresa, Snow, David, Hook and Zelena fell to the ground, unconscious.
