My day started on a good note but after lunch, thanks to that devilishly handsome curly haired boy it was drained in vain. The whole day my mood was dull due to that incident that happened in his office. One thing was clear I was jealous, very jealous of that girl. He was not even saying something to her when she was insulting me. I need to remain away from him or else I would not be able to focus on my prime goal of giving good health services. Harry is playing with my thoughts and not in a good manner. This boy will be the downfall of my super intelligent brain. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realized Liam coming and sitting in front of me in my cabin. It was only when he tapped his pen in front of me on my table that I realized he is sitting  there.

"What are you thinking so deeply?" he asked. I shrugged "Just stuff" He nodded. "Care to explain". I shook my head.  "You tell me how come you are accepted here at this hospital so easily and I was rejected, after all you are a fresher too"

He smiled "I was wondering when you will ask that. Actually I never interviewed." I raised my eyebrows in surprise. He chuckle "Althea I haven't joined as an employee. I am here to learn how to run a hospital and it's  administrative work. I am going to pursue further studies in management of hospitals. Harry happens to be my good friend just like Ashton, so I asked him to help me and he agreed. I am planning on opening hospitals branches in US and England and some in Africa. And I need to learn all about administration and stuff. I am very passionate about medicine.I want to do something in health services. So that's it." I just nodded in understanding, Liam was always so passionate about his dreams. He used to talk about it for hours during our university days. Hopefully he will fulfill it. "By the way what brought you here?"
He smiled and said "Nothing"

I know him very well; there is something behind his nothing. But I didn't press the matter.
"Hey Althea are you up for a coffee break" Louis entered unannounced and took a seat beside Liam. Liam beat me in answering "Where? In the hospital café?"

"Na mate. I was hoping to take her out at the nearby coffee store. It has got very homely environment and the coffee tastes really good and they make amazing cupcakes." Louis replied. That captured my attention "Hey did you just say cupcakes. Where ever there is cupcake I am ready to go" I replied excited and Liam groaned. I looked towards him and asked "What?"

"Nothing, I just feel like a goddamn messenger" he replied frustrated and left. Did I miss something?

"What's got his pants twisted" Louis asked. I chuckle "Nice usage of words. Now come, let's go. My stomach can't wait more and my tongue is dying to taste them" He laughed and we both went out.

The cup cakes were really awesome. I was moaning in the bliss of such a wonderful taste. My stomach was happy and my tongue was having heaven time.

"Stop that Althea" Louis said bit irritated. I looked confused towards him "Stop what?" He clenched his jaw and said "Stop moaning. That is not helping me"

"Excuse me!" I asked still confused.

"He meant your moaning is giving a particular organ of his body a hard time" I stopped eating and looked towards the voice and blushed. It was Harry. I didn't know my moaning was turning on Louis. And Harry was standing there with clenched jaw and very angry. What is with him? Can't he act relaxed and calm for at least a second?

"What are you doing here?" Louis asked irritably.
"Well I came here for a coffee. Any problem with that Dr. Tomlinson" Harry replied.
Louis raised one of his eye brows and questioned "Alone?" Harry smirked. "Obviously not, Liam there is ordering our drinks" I looked at the counter and clearly I saw him ordering. So does that mean he told Harry about our plan to come here and was he irritated for acting as a messenger for Harry? Has Harry asked him to look for me? But why would he do that. He made it clear that our relationship is professional, so why is he giving me mixed signals. To hell with you Harry, you just churn my brain in seconds and killed the taste of cupcakes. Anatomy wasn't so tough to understand but you are. I sighed  deeply. Till then Liam too came and stood near our table with coffee in his hands.

"Mind if we join you guys" Liam asked taking a seat beside me. "Why are you standing Harry? Come sit" He coaxed Harry smirked looking towards Louis while sitting on the other side of me. What exactly is happening here?

"Feel like home" I told Liam a to which  he smirked.

"So Althea, you liked the cupcakes?" Louis asked.

"Liked! I loved them Louis and I love you for letting me know about this place"

Harry coughed awkwardly and looked not so in a friendly manner towards Louis. "Dr. Louis I guess your shift starts soon. You can go, Liam and I will drop Althea back home"

"But I don't have night shift, no pending patients. So I am good to go and free. I will drop Althea home and moreover she came here with me. So she is my responsibility."

I sigh, males and their egos. "Well guys I have my own car and I can go myself" Liam snickered and I glared towards him. He raised his hands in surrender. I looked towards Harry he was looking pissed, then he took out his cell phone and I saw him texting someone. Within 5 minutes Louis got a call from Dr. Johnson that there is some emergency at the hospital. My mouth was gape open. Harry clearly used his authority. I looked toward Liam and he was smiling knowingly.

"Excuse us" I said and took hold of Liam's wrist and pulled him. When we were away from them at a safe distance I hissed "What is going on here" He smiled "Can't you see." "Of course I can. Why are they competing like loons for dropping me home?" Liam snickered "Darwin's theory" I looked confused towards him and asked "What?" "Oh come on Althea two males struggling to get the attention of a female. That is common amongst male species. Survival of fittest" I groaned "Liam you and your logics."

I returned to our table and found Louis missing. "Where is Louis?" Harry clenched his jaws and answered stoic "He left" I nodded and said "So I should leave I guess, my duty is over. Liam! you coming?" He shrugged. I sighed and was about to leave the place when Harry cleared his throat and said "I would like to drop you home, I want to clear what happened today"

"My car... I just started saying when Harry cut me to it "No problem, my driver will take your car." I looked toward Liam and he winked. " I should go. I have some work. Catch you later Althea and Harry" Saying that he left. When we came out of the café Harry rubbed his neck in nervousness and stuttered "Uh.. I.. I am sorry for what happened today. Actually I was embarrassed. You saw me in compromising situation with that girl. And all of that happened so fast I was not able to react properly." I smiled at his nervousness "It's okay Harry. It happens."

When we reached at the parking, I was about to glide in the car when the same girl came and stood by Harry and placed her hands on his shoulders and said "Hey baby, you going somewhere."

I don't why but I was seeing all green. "Actually I am busy I was dropping Althea home" he politely rejected her. But that girl was not ready to hear a no "But she can manage and after what happened at the office, have some courtesy and drop me home." That made my blood boil. "Actually Harry, drop her. I can manage, I have my car. Do some charity and help the needy helpless people" Her mouth was open in a shape of O due to surprise. And without acknowledging both I left. I know I behaved like a jealous kid but what I can do, he brings out the worse in me. This man is clearly not good for my brain. Again anatomy was easy to understand than my current situation and feelings towards Harry.
