"CHEERS!" Hoshi's voice echoed the loudest as him, Seungcheol, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Woozi, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino were gathered for a private party at a VIP cabin of a hotel.

"Cheers to the end of your bachelor life hyung." Mingyu swung his arm around the older.

Although not even an inch happy about anything, Seungcheol still enjoyed the party as his loved ones were around him.

"Now hyung will be a married man." Woozi chuckled, "Congratulations!"

"Dino, find someone for yourself too." Hoshi nudged the only single one in their group.

"Not yet." Dino sipped his drink, "I've my career in line."

"We also have our careers." Seungkwan intervened, "Why do people think that a relationship can ruin someone's career? It won't happen if you find the right person."

"Exactly, I'll wait for the right person." Dino nodded, "Just like hyung somehow met the one he is destined to. Plus I'm only 24, spare me."

Destined to him? Not at all.

"Yeah you're still a kid." Vernon laughed.

"More like a muscled kid." Hoshi pinched his biceps.

"How are you feeling hyung?" Wonwoo looked at Seungcheol, "What do you think about Mr. Yoon?"

"Well, we all have met him twice or thrice when he came for business meetings with Seungkwan right?" Mingyu recalled, "He seems to be a good person."

"I've heard that he's an ace in the business industry." Woozi added.

"That's true though." Seungkwan agreed, "He's true to his ethics and knows the aspects of this field really well. Since he's older than me and we've grown closer, I tend to learn a few things from him."

"And because of you, I know him pretty well too." Vernon revealed.

"Can't wait to meet him as hyung's husband." Dino cheered up.

"But-" Seungkwan cleared his throat, "Jeonghan hyung and Cheol hyung had a heated argument last month in the meeting. Are you guys okay now?"

Okay? They didn't even talk after that. Funny.

"Of course." Seungcheol lied profoundly, "That was just a professional meeting, we sorted it out."

"That's great to hear." Seungkwan remarked.

"Okay stop it guys, we're here to celebrate my bachelor life not marital life." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.

"Understandable." Hoshi laughed.

"One more." Seungcheol gestured at the waiter as he casually displayed the bottle of alcohol he was holding and the waiter brought him another one.

"Hyung, slow down." Mingyu whispered to him.

"It's fine."

"Now that I see it, where's Seokmin?" Woozi asked, "I don't think he'll miss his brother's bachelor party."

"He joined Mr. Yoon's party." Wonwoo informed, "He said we'll party together during his bachelor party anyways and he wanted to hang out with the Yoon brothers."

"Oh yeah, isn't Mr. Yoon's brother, Mr. Joshua, Seokmin's fiance?" Hoshi asked.

"Yeah, they'll be marrying soon after Cheol hyung." Mingyu nodded.

"But isn't it too cool, both brothers marrying in the same family?" Dino gasped.

"Well, destiny works like that." Seungkwan shrugged.

All the discussions were slowly fading away for Seungcheol as he drowned himself in alcohol. He didn't want to discuss all the things which were already bothering him a lot. He just hated it.

After about two hours, they were done with their meal. Dino and Seungwan were tipsy enough while Seungcheol was actually drunk. Not because he couldn't hold his liquor but because he was drinking way too recklessly. Order after order, shot after shot, he wasn't in the mood to stop.

"One mo-"

"No hyung stop it now." Mingyu and Wonwoo rebuked him, "Enough is enough."

"I'll take Seungkwan and Dino to their apartment and will stay there tonight." Vernon informed, "Is it fine hyung?"

"Yeah sure don't worry." Mingyu nodded as Vernon managed to escort the two drunk men.

Meanwhile Seungcheol's condition was really bad. He was totally out of his mind at that point.

"Please bring the bill." Wonwoo demanded and the waiter complied.

"I'll payyy!" Seungcheol blabbered.

"Do you even remember any password or pin right now?" Woozi raised a brow.

"Cash." Seungcheol pulled out some currency from his wallet and slammed it on the table.

"What are you doing-?" Hoshi stopped the older, "It's double the amount we have to pay."

"Let it be." Seungcheol yanked the younger's hand, "It's the tip." He displayed finger hearts to the waiter as if he was his fan.

The waiter chuckled, "It's okay sir, keep it." He took the desired amount and left.

Mingyu gathered the extra money and somehow stuffed it into Seungcheol's wallet.

"We'll help you guys." Hoshi and Woozi volunteered to join the mission of taking a drunk Seungcheol back to the dorm.

Everyone had alcohol so they had to call a driver and after about an hour, they reached the dorm.

As soon as they stepped into the hall, they practically threw Seungcheol on the sofa. What was even more amusing that the older remained unfazed.

"Let's drink." Seungcheol mumbled as he sat up straight.

"I might punch him right now." Mingyu pointed at him and Woozi gestured for him to do it, "I dare you."

"Dare!" Seungcheol giggled, "Dares are merciless."

All four of them gathered around him as Hoshi began, "Hyung? Are you fine? Why do you want to drink so much all of a sudden? You never go out of control."

"I'm not fine." Seungcheol laughed, "How am I supposed to be fine?"

"Why? What happened?" Wonwoo asked.

"I don't want to marry him." Seungcheol's eyes were drowsy, "I can't marry him."

"Is something wrong?" Mingyu hesitantly questioned.

"This whole thing is very wrong." Seungcheol grinned like a madman, "Do you know what he did once? When we were in high school, he dated me for a dare. And my stupid heart still loves him like crazy."

With that, Seungcheol spilled everything that had happened in the past. From the argument to the multiple apologies by Jeonghan and their following bitterness, everything.

The four men were stunned with the sudden revelation. They didn't have any idea about this backstory at all.

"He apologised many times, I don't blame him." Seungcheol continued, "It was his fault and he accepted it. But that doesn't change the fact that he has no feelings for me and I'm dying for his love. I don't want to get close to him or I'll end up being stupid again."

Mingyu embraced the older while the others caressed his arm or patted his head, "It's okay hyung. If he apologised sincerely, you should give him a chance."

"Chance?" Seungcheol laughed, "Chance on what? He doesn't want anything between us. I'm the only desperate one and it hurts so fucking much."

"What if he loves you too?" Hoshi suggested, "Or else why would he apologise several times?"

"That's close to impossible." Seungcheol giggled as he felt dizzy, "Why does it always happen to me? I should have agreed to marry one of my blind dates and fucking moved on from this shit."

"Marrying someone else wouldn't have changed your heart and feelings." Woozi stated, "It would have been an injustice to the other person instead."

"Then what do I do?" Seungcheol frowned, "The more I will see him, the more it will hurt." He collapsed against Mingyu's shoulders as he kept blabbering something, "Why do I love him? I DON'T WANT TO LOVE HIM!!"

"Let's put him to sleep." Wonwoo suggested as he and Mingyu dragged the elder to his room and settled him to sleep.

After they came out their concerned eyes met with Hoshi and Woozi's worried ones.

"We had no idea that he was suffering so much from the inside." Woozi mumbled.

"It feels like I failed him as a friend." Hoshi added.

"Let's not discuss it." Wonwoo intervened, "We should just be there for him as his emotional support."

"Yeah, I hope everything goes well." Mingyu worriedly stated, "And if it doesn't, we know how to bring him happiness."

"That's not even a question." Jeonghan sipped his drink as Joshua stood beside him, "I am not even expecting anything to go well."

"Hyung let's dance!" Seokmin's voice echoed from the middle of the hall as he, Jun and Minghao were enjoying the loud beats of music along with some other friends.

"It's fine!" Joshua answered with a smile.

"You can go Shua, I'm fine." Jeonghan gulped the whole glass of alcohol as he began to pour another one.

"You're not." Joshua held his hand, "No one knows your side of the story except for me."

"There's nothing like my side of the story." Jeonghan chuckled bitterly, "I wronged him and he got hurt. I tried to apologise but I understand, it wasn't easy for him considering he used to have feelings for me."

"It's probably not the end?" Joshua stated, "If he's still salty over the past, it means some part of him is still stuck there. You can try to fix everything again."

"He's not stuck there, he just hates me with all his might. When true love is wronged, it turns into a disaster." Jeonghan scoffed, "I've accepted it. Don't gaslight me with false hopes."

"I'm being very honest right now." Joshua convinced, "See, if you've got a chance then what's wrong in trying? Or are you not guilty anymore?"

"What are you talking about? I still feel really bad for what I did." Jeonghan clenched his chest, "It's like a heavy stone on my heart which can never be helped. I've just learnt to live with this inevitable pain of guilt."

"Then try Jeonghan! Maybe you need to change your ways?" Joshua looked at the older, "Don't say sorry and all the cliche things. Try to gradually build a friendship with him. Start a fresh journey."

"I can." Jeonghan nodded, "But he doesn't think the same. Do you really think he'll cooperate?"

"That's the entire point. YOU have to make him cooperate." Joshua patted his shoulders, "You know him better than me-"

"I used to know him." Jeonghan intervened, "Time changes, people change. Currently, I probably know him even less than his fans."

"So get to know him?" Joshua chuckled, "Start fresh Jeonghan. I don't think I need to teach you about how to find your ways, you're the best at that. If you really want to apologise, then do everything in your power. Sure you don't need to lower your self esteem, never do that but do as much as your heart allows you to."

"I'll try my best." Jeonghan stated, "Thank you Shua. I didn't know how to consolidate everything until I talked to you."

"Don't worry, you can do it!" Joshua grinned, "I trust you."

Seungcheol shuffled on his bed as he woke up with a heavy head, "How much did I drink uhh." He groaned as he couldn't really recall anything that happened after the party last night.

"Oh you're finally awake!" Mingyu and Wonwoo stepped into his room, "How are you feeling?"

Seungcheol blinked several times to adjust to the light, "My head hurts."

"You drank a lot yesterday." Mingyu rebuked, "Of course it would hurt."

"Do you remember anything from last night?" Wonwoo asked after he offered the older a glass of water.

"Last night?" Seungcheol gulped the whole glass of water at once, "I'm honestly clueless. I can't recall anything from mid way while I was drinking. Why, what happened?"

"Well, we brought you here. Hoshi and Woozi volunteered to make sure you were fine." Wonwoo looked at Mingyu then back at Seungcheol, "But, you told us everything."

"Everything?"

"About your past with Mr. Yoon." Mingyu explained, "That he broke your heart. He apologised but you couldn't actually forgive him. That- that you still love him but can't stand him."

"Bullshit." Seungcheol chuckled bitterly, "I can't love him. I must have said gibberish because I was drunk."

"There's a difference." Wonwoo intervened, "Between, I can't love him and I don't love him."

"Whatever." Seungcheol rolled his eyes, "What's the point anyways?"

"There is definitely a point." Mingyu stated, "You said he was desperate for your forgiveness and that's what lessens his mistake. He's guilty for it so why not give it a chance? After all you're going to marry him, there's definitely a chance."

"Now there's a difference again." Seungcheol looked up, "He's guilty for what he did but he isn't in love with me and I'm not going to force him, never. I don't want to stay near him when I'm well aware of my feelings."

"But you're going to live together." Wonwoo nodded.

"I'll see what I can do for those few months." Seungcheol scoffed, "I honestly don't want to fall for him anymore. He's really dangerous for my heart and I'm very much comfortable with the present situations rather than getting hit by the reality of him having literally no feelings for me."

"Wait, hyung, what do you mean by a few months?" Mingyu asked.

"Do you really think we're going to stay married for our whole life?" Seungcheol laughed without any humour, "Once Seokmin marries Joshua, the point of our marriage will be over. I'll file for a divorce after six months and I'm pretty sure that Jeonghan would love this idea."

"How are you so sure hyung?" Wonwoo paused, "What if he doesn't want a divorce?"

"What makes YOU think that?" Seungcheol retorted, "He agreed to marry me because of all the drama our families did and after that my mom fell ill. Plus I don't even care about what he wants, I don't need to, I just don't want him in my life."

"Not when you love him like crazy." Mingyu muttered beneath his breath.

"I heard that." Seungcheol glared at the younger, "I already told you, my love for him doesn't matter at all. We're not made for each other, it's better for us to stay apart. We're better off without each other."

"Well, it's completely yours and Mr. Yoon's choice." Wonwoo scoffed, "Let's drop this topic. Freshen up, let's have breakfast together."

"Where's Vernon?" Seungcheol asked.

"He went to stay with Seungkwan and Dino last night." Mingyu informed.

"Dino must have felt lonely in his own house." Seungcheol joked.

"No, he was probably more drunk than you." Wonwoo and Mingyu laughed along.
