32 - Lover

"You can't even wear a tie?" Jeonghan scrunched his nose while fixing Seungcheol's tie, "And where's your coat? We always get late because of you."
"Because of me? Seriously?" Seungcheol retorted.
"Yes. We've a room booked right here and still we aren't at the hall yet." Jeonghan continued, "All because of you."
"That's your fault." Seungcheol chuckled playfully, "I always get lost in your glamour. How am I supposed to focus on myself?"
Jeonghan controlled his small smile, "Shut up."
Seungcheol wrapped his arms around the younger's waist and pulled him closer, "I can't take my eyes off you."
"Seungcheol, leave." Jeonghan wriggled as he looked away, "We're getting late. Stop staring at me."
"What? Now I can't even stare at my own husband?" Seungcheol whined, "Just like you can't."
"What?"
"Yeah, you can't really look at me, Jeonghan." Seungcheol grazed his lips over the younger's cheeks to turn his face towards himself.
"Who said I can't look at you?"
"Your flustered face." Seungcheol winked.
"Oh please, whatever." Jeonghan rolled his eyes.
Seungcheol pulled him closer with a jerk, "See? You're again avoiding my eyes."
Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
Take me out, take me home
You're my lover
"I'm not." Jeonghan stared at the older.
"Good." Seungcheol began to lean in towards the younger's lips when he heard a knock at the door. He scoffed heavily as his face fell over Jeonghan's shoulder.
Jeonghan laughed as he lightly pushed him away. He went to open the door revealing Jun and Mingyu.
"Hyung are you ready? Aunt was looking for both of you." Jun stated.
"Yeah I'm ready. I was tying Seungcheol's tie." Jeonghan explained.
"Let him do it himself, he knows it." Mingyu blabbered.
Seungcheol face-palmed as he sighed.
Jeonghan turned towards him with a threatening glare, "I'm going, you come fast too."
Jeonghan left along with Jun while Mingyu stayed.
"You ruined everything." Seungcheol aggressively fixed his tie.
Mingyu laughed, "You're with him all the time yet you are acting as if someone ruined your moment after hundreds of years."
"You're clearly not helping." Seungcheol sighed.
"No one can help you except for your husband." Mingyu teased.
"Let's go." Seungcheol locked the door after getting ready. He and Mingyu went to the immense cabin behind the stage where Seokmin was present.
"I'll go to help if they need anything." Mingyu stated, "Aunt Choi has strictly asked you to stay with Seokmin."
"Of course." Seungcheol nodded as Mingyu left.
"Wait." Seungcheol fixed his brother's tuxedo.
"My look isn't complete without your finishing touch." Seokmin chuckled.
"Of course." Seungcheol patted his shoulder, "I am and will always be proud of you. I still remember how you decided to start your own business and grew it all by yourself. Now you're getting married to your love whom you cherish with your whole heart."
"Thank you for being with me forever, hyung." Seokmin grinned.
After that, they stood by each other and talked occasionally. The outer lawn and a part of stage was visible through the huge glass window.
It was when Seokmin saw Seungcheol being subtly restless.
"Hyung, today's my wedding, at least focus on me for one day." Seoksoo glared at his brother.
"As if you're going to stick with me after Joshua comes." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.
"If I'll stick to you, who will marry?" Seokmin raised a brow.
"Argh why isn't he coming yet?" Seungcheol was restless.
"Because he cares about his brother." Seokmin smacked his arm lightly, "You only care about your husband."
"Whatever." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.
"He's coming." Seokmin pointed at Jeonghan and Mingyu who were walking towards the cabin.
"Are you alright?" Jeonghan asked Seokmin.
"Yes, hyung." Seokmin chuckled.
Mingyu began to explain something to Seokmin which Mrs. Choi had told him.
"What's with that grumpy face?" Seungcheol nudged Jeonghan.
"You knew how to knot a tie." Jeonghan mumbled.
"Yeah, so?"
"But you told me you don't." Jeonghan glared at the older, "And indulged me in it."
"So what's wrong in that?" Seungcheol scrunched his brows, "Can't you even knot my tie?"
"I can but we were late because of you." Jeonghan retorted.
"You're talking as if the wedding is already over." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.
"You know what? I don't want to talk to you." Jeonghan clenched his teeth lightly.
"Yeah don't talk to me." Seungcheol scoffed, "Do whatever you want to."
"That's all you know. When it was our wedding then you were arguing and when it's our brothers' wedding then again you're arguing." Jeonghan mumbled, "You just want to argue everytime."
"Yeah and you're an angel who just descended from heaven." Seungcheol sarcastically chuckled, "Never argues, never blabbers random stuff."
"Get away from me." Jeonghan sighed in annoyance.
"Why would I? If you've so much problem with me then you go away." Seungcheol retorted.
"Sure." Jeonghan nodded as walked to stand beside Seokmin while Seungcheol remained unfazed.
"What's wrong with you both now?" Mingyu asked.
"Nothing." Seungcheol and Jeonghan stated together.
"Hyung you were just dying to see Jeonghan hyung, now what?" Seokmin scrunched his brows.
"Why would he die to see me?" Jeonghan rolled his eyes.
"Exactly, I'm fine by my own." Seungcheol looked away.
Mingyu nudged Seokmin as he whispered, "Let them be. They'll be fine after a while."
It was when Sana (Seungcheol and Seokmin's mother) and Jiah (Jeonghan and Joshua's mother) walked in.
"Seokmin! You're looking really handsome." Jiah complimented.
"Why are these two brats sulking in two different corners?" Sana referred to Jeonghan and Seungcheol.
"Isn't it a miracle that they're not sticking to each other?" Jiah squinted her eyebrows.
"I'm so done with them." Sana scoffed, "What's wrong with you two?"
"Nothing mom." Seungcheol stated.
"Then why are you standing beside someone else's boyfriend?" Sana looked at Mingyu then at Seungcheol.
"MOM?"
"Shut up."
Seungcheol sighed as he went to stand beside Jeonghan. He snaked his hand around the younger's waist and shifted him closer to himself.
"Anyways-" Sana and Jiah got busy with the groom too.
"Leave me." Jeonghan whispered to Seungcheol.
"I won't." Seungcheol sternly stated.
"Urgh-" Jeonghan wriggled within his hold.
"Jeonghan?" Seungcheol looked at him while tightening his grip, "Stand nicely, got it, dear husband?"
"You can't order me." Jeonghan squinted his brows.
"I'm not ordering, I'm insisting." Seungcheol managed to smile.
"We don't insist like that."
Seungcheol quickly pecked his lips so that no one could notice, "Fine, I'm sorry?"
Jeonghan couldn't help but grin, "I'm sorry too."
"Told you." Mingyu nudged Seokmin to look at the couple who was smiling together again.
"Do you, Choi Seokmin, take Joshua Yoon as your wedded husband?"
"Yes."
"Do you, Joshua Yoon, take Choi Seokmin as your wedded husband?"
"I do."
"Joshua Yoon and Choi Seokmin, having witnessed your vows of love to one another, it is my joy to present you to all gathered here, as husbands. You may kiss."
Seokmin gently pulled Joshua towards himself and kissed him. They chuckled after parting away as everyone cheered for them.
Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?
With every guitar string scar on my hand
I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover
They walked down the aisle and after a while, they clicked family pictures. Following the family and friends time, came the long and formal guest time.
Jeonghan and Seungcheol were standing beside each other as they were admiring their younger ones being happy and adorable together.
"Jeonghan?" Seungcheol whispered, "Will you marry me?"
"Are you drunk?" Jeonghan squinted his brows, "We're already married."
"I know but let's marry again." Seungcheol stated, "We were so bitter at that time. Let's make a beautiful memory with a love marriage."
"No Seungcheol, even though we were bitter at that time, it's still a huge part of our life." Jeonghan chuckled, "We were arranged, to each other, by our parents. And looking back, it makes me feel good that we went through so much.
But we still remained together. From being forced to marry to being scared to drift away, we've came a long way. I won't allow you to vanish or change such an immense part of our life."
"Now that you said that, I realised that so much has changed between us." Seungcheol grinned, "I can't believe that one day I asked you to stay away from me and you removed the wedding ring."
"I know." Jeonghan wrapped his arm around the older's bicep, "You would have been so anxious after that."
"Don't ask me." Seungcheol clutched his chest, "I thought I would pass out."
Jeonghan laughed, "That's what I'm saying. Let's not change what has already happened, instead, just cherish it, okay?"
My heart's been borrowed and yours has been blue
All's well that ends well ends up with you
Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover
"As you say." Seungcheol chuckled, "See? They look so happy!"
"Exactly!" Jeonghan nodded as he looked at the newly wedded couple who was busy receiving bouquets from the guests.
After a while, the group of thirteen friends finally managed to gather together, the newly married couple gaining all of the spotlight.
"Shall we go now?" Seokmin chuckled while holding Joshua's hand.
"Where's the party though?" Hoshi asked.
"At the new farmhouse." Joshua grinned, "Which Seungcheol and Jeonghan gifted us."
"DID YOU?"
"Okay shut up, this doesn't need to be discussed." Seungcheol rolled his eyes with a small chuckle.
"Cute." Jeonghan whispered to himself.
"Whipped." Jun, in turn, whispered to him.
"Let's get into the cars!" Mingyu exclaimed.
"Me and Jeonghan will be a bit a late, we've to drop a few relatives to their home." Seungcheol seriously stated.
"Okay hyung but we'll start the party before your arrival." Woozi nodded.
"Sure."
Everyone finally left for their destination. Seungcheol got into the driver's seat of their car while Jeonghan grabbed the passenger's seat.
When Seungcheol started driving, Jeonghan asked, "We had to drop some relatives home?"
"No?" Seungcheol scrunched his brows.
"What no? You just said it to everyone." Jeonghan retorted.
"That was a lie." Seungcheol shrugged as he began driving, "We'll take the longer route for a long drive."
"I can't believe you." Jeonghan scoffed.
"What?" Seungcheol whined as he focused on the road, "Do you even know how hard it was for me because I got almost no alone time with you for the past few days? We were mostly at our parents' house for the wedding preparations and someone was always ready to interrupt us."
Jeonghan stared at the older with wide eyes and a small smile.
"I'll be this close to kiss you and someone will appear with the most important work of all time. So at the end of the day we would just sleep, being tired." Seungcheol scoffed, "No kissing, no cuddles, do you even understand how hard it was for me?"
"Okay stop it, you're such a kid." Jeonghan laughed, "I didn't know you were this frustrated."
"Of course, you were way too happy while being free." Seungcheol mumbled, "I know you don't like when I'm too clingy."
"Hey! Stop it." Jeonghan protested, "Why would you say that?"
"What? I'm saying the truth."
"Wow seriously? When did I say that I don't like when you're clingy?" Jeonghan raised his brows.
"Which means you accept that I'm extra clingy?"
"Now where did this extra come from?" Jeonghan cried in disbelief.
"That's not the point. The point is that you don't like being close to me, to your own husband." Seungcheol muttered.
"If you weren't my husband, I would've slapped you right now." Jeonghan sighed, "How can you say such ridiculous things? How do they even come to your mind? Me not liking you? Huh? That ain't possible."
Seungcheol pinched his cheek with his spare hand, "Don't tempt me to stop the car and pull you over myself right now."
"Weren't you just saying that you think I don't like it?" Jeonghan retorted, "Why would you do that?"
Seungcheol retarded the car gradually and parked it at a side of an empty road. He shifted his seat slightly back as he turned to look at the younger, "Come here."
"Wha-? Are you serious, Seungcheol?" Jeonghan stared at him in disbelief.
"Pretty much." Seungcheol held his hand and pulled him to straddle his lap, adjusting within the car's seat, "Now tell me, do you like it or not?"
"I do but-"
"Shhh!" Seungcheol pressed his finger over the younger's lips, "That's all that matters."
Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
Take me out, take me home
Darling, you're my lover
Slowly and steadily, they were leaning towards each other. They were married, they were husbands but still it felt like they had been waiting for this moment since forever. The softness of each other's warmth was something they were craving for.
But the moment shattered as Seungcheol's phone ringed.
"This." Seungcheol sighed, "This is what I was talking about. URGH! At this point I'll just kiss the steering wheel."
"Pick up the call." Jeonghan tapped his shoulder.
Seungcheol received the call, "Yes dad?"
"Did you all reach the farmhouse?"
"I don't know, I'm still on my way with Jeonghan."
"You didn't reach yet? The others reached around 15 minutes ago but now they aren't picking up the calls."
"Yeah they must be busy with the party, don't worry dad."
"Call me after reaching there, okay? Don't be too late."
"Yes, dad, I'll make sure to inform you." Seungcheol hung up the call.
Jeonghan gave him a pathetic chuckle as he got back to his seat, "Start driving or else come here and I'll drive."
"No, I'm fine." Seungcheol sighed as he started the vehicle again.
•Same Dream Farmhouse•
"DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!"
The cheers and laughter echoed in the immense hall as the eleven men gathered around food, alcohol and karaoke mics.
"Dino, 4!"
"Dino Dino Dino Dino! Seungkwan 6!"
"Seungkwan Seungkwan Seung- FUCK IT!" Seungkwan collapsed on his seat, "Let me use Kwan only or I'm not playing."
"Geez! How will it even sound?" Hoshi rolled his eyes, "Kwan Kwan Kwan- Do you want to be a duck or something?"
"Yah you better shut up or I'll fire you." Seungkwan threatened.
"You drink first, Mr. CEO." Hoshi teased, "That's your penalty."
"Hyung please sit down." Minghao held Hoshi who was excitedly dancing right in front of him while teasing Seungkwan.
As they continued to bicker, Seungcheol and Jeonghan walked in.
"Wow are you all already drunk?" Seungcheol looked at the messed up scenario.
"Thanks for coming, now handle them, I'm going upstairs with Shua hyung." Seokmin grabbed his husband's hands.
"Sure." Jeonghan chuckled.
"Do you guys want to eat something?" Joshua asked.
"Don't worry Joshua, you go with Seokmin." Seungcheol assured.
Both of them nodded as they went upstairs, to their designated room. Seokmin closed the door as they walked in while Joshua sat on the bed.
"Finally." Seokmin scoffed after which he chuckled, "I bought you a gift but I left it in the car. If I'll go now they would force me to drink again."
"I know." Joshua nodded, "My gift is kept in the car as well."
"What did you buy me?" Seokmin strolled forward to grab a seat beside Joshua.
"That's a surprise." Joshua chuckled, "You won't tell me either, right?"
"Definitely not." Seokmin cupped the older's cheeks as he placed a kiss on his forehead and lips, "I love you, hyung. I'm so glad that we're finally married."
"I'm over the moon!" Joshua snuggled into his embrace, "I love you too."
"Wait a minute." Seokmin shuffled through his pocket, "I got this polaroid family picture from the cameraman."
"Really?" Joshua looked at the picture of them standing in the centre while their parents, Seungcheol and Jeonghan were standing beside them.
"Don't you think we accidentally made another beautiful couple?" Joshua pointed at Seungcheol and Jeonghan as he recalled Sana's threat of not letting Seokmin marry until Seungcheol does.
"No?" Seokmin nodded, "They were meant to be. They just went through some serious ups and downs but at the end, they faced everything together. Their bond is strong because they made it that way."
"You're right." Joshua nodded, "Let's flourish our new journey with all of our love and care."
"Of course." Seokmin pecked the older's lips.
