Seungkwan sighed heavily as he sat in the meeting room with Hana and two more staff members at one side, while Jeonghan and Jun at the other. They were all collectively waiting for Seungcheol to join the meeting.

It was when Jun's phone rang and he picked up, "Yeah hyung? Yes, he's available, wait a minute." He nudged Jeonghan, "Joshua hyung wants to talk to you."

"Yeah what happened Joshua?"

"The Tretz deal is finalized. Minghao has updated it on the cloud sheet, your signatures on the hard copy are pending."

"I'll sign them after I'll be back."

"How much more time is it going to take?"

"I don't know, the meeting hasn't even started yet."

"What? Wow, the Tretz officials wanted to meet you. I told you that I can handle the BSK meeting and you should attend this one, but no, you're just blinded by Seungcheol. Work is still important, Jeonghan."

"Stop it Joshua, I didn't know it would get this late. Just apologise to them on my behalf for now, I'll personally meet them tomorrow."

"Okay fine, do whatever you want to."

Jeonghan hung up the call and handed the phone to Jun. "I'll go crazy at this point." He mumbled.

"What happened hyung?" Seungkwan hesitantly asked. Even he was feeling guilty as the meeting was getting late because of his artist. And the personal relationships didn't matter at that moment.

"Nothing." Jeonghan looked at his watch, "Seungkwan, will the meeting start today or should we just cancel it?"

"I-"

"Why am I asking you anyways." Jeonghan pulled out his phone and excused himself from everyone.

He quickly made a call to Seungcheol, "Are you coming to the meeting or not?"

"I'm sorry, I'm coming, what happened?" Seungcheol replied.

"Seungcheol, I swear if you don't show up in 5 minutes, I'll start the meeting."

"Jeonghan I'm not cooking instant noodles here. I was at a photoshoot and I'm returning, I can't control the traffic."

"If you know you can't join the meeting at time, you can just drop it and let the others continue? But no, you just want everything to go with your own way. It doesn't matter if others have to bear losses for that."

"What are you even saying?"

"I had to attend another important meeting but thanks to you, I couldn't."

"Wow you could've just sent someone else in your place. Why are you blaming me all of a sudden?"

"Because YOU are late to this meeting and that's why my schedule got messed up. Just accept your fault for once, can you?"

"I said I'm sorry, the traffic is not my fault. If it's bothering you so much, then just leave the meeting Jeonghan. No one ain't dying without you."

"Cool. I'll just leave then." He hung up the call and went back into the meeting room. He collected his stuff, "Jun, manage the meeting alone. I've to go. Sorry Seungkwan, but I've other schedules and I can't risk them for now."

"I understand hyung. And I'm sorry for getting this meeting late."

"I'll leave." Jeonghan bowed slightly and left. He knew that there was no point in ditching the meeting because there was no way he could make it to the Rose Quartz HQ to meet the Tretz officials but Seungcheol's behaviour just got on his nerves.

But to his misfortune, when the elevator doors opened, he witnessed Seungcheol. He sighed, "I'll just take the other one."

But before Jeonghan could leave, the older held his arm, "Where are you going?"

"Didn't we just talk over the call?" Jeonghan glared.

"Yes we did but if you'll leave, who is going to carry on the meeting?" Seungcheol asked.

"No one ain't dying without me. Jun is there." Jeonghan paused, "Plus I've all the rights to cancel the meeting because of you being late."

"C'mon Jeonghan, I told you, traffic isn't something I can control." Seungcheol scrunched his brows, "Okay, I'm sorry that your schedule got messed up because of me. Let's just go?"

Jeonghan stared at him in disbelief, "At this point, I've started to think that you've a severe bipolar disorder."

"What?"

"Don't act up. Just a moment ago, you talked to me on the call as if you'll eat me alive." Jeonghan recalled, "And now you're saying sorry?"

"I was stressed at that time because of the long journey filled with traffic that's why I reacted like that." Seungcheol explained, "I know it's my fault. Now let's go, shall we?"

"But you-"

"Shh." Seungcheol placed a finger on Jeonghan's lips, "You being enchantingly gorgeous won't give you the rights to nag at me okay? I don't believe in pretty privilege."

Although Jeonghan didn't want to, a smile crept up on his face, "I hate you."

"My pleasure, now let's go."

Jeonghan nodded as both of them went to the meeting room. Everything got settled up and the meeting went smoothly.

"Okay, done." Seungkwan signed the papers and so did Jeonghan. They shook hands after which Seungkwan left with Jun while discussing something. The staff members began to leave one by one too.

"Oh I'm so sorry sir." Hana apologised as she accidentally spilled some coffee over Seungcheol's pants. She immediately pulled out a few tissues and began to clean the idol's clothes while continuously apologising.

She held Seungcheol's arm for support and dabbed the tissue over his pants at his thighs where the coffee was spilled. She slightly wettened the tissue with some water to clean the stains properly.

Seungcheol was taken aback by the mishap but at that moment he felt someone's sharp, threatening gaze over himself. And it was none other than his very own husband. He understood what Jeonghan's cold stare meant as he backed away from Hana, "It's fine, I'll do it myself. You can leave."

"But sir-"

"I said it Hana, just leave."

"Okay sir." Hana bowed to the two males as she walked out of the room.

Jeonghan visibly sighed as he looked at Seungcheol.

"You weren't supposed to be jealous." Seungcheol mocked while cleaning the mess.

"I wasn't jealous." Jeonghan stared at him, "It's just that, even if our marriage doesn't mean anything, know your limits at least until we aren't divorced."

Seungcheol stopped cleaning as he looked up, "What are you trying to imply?"

"You very well know that." Jeonghan crossed his arms against his chest.

"No I don't." Seungcheol's voice became stern, "I clearly don't know what limits I have crossed. She spilled the coffee over me and was trying to clean it by herself, I didn't ask her to touch me intentionally. And over that, I'm not that cheap okay? You need to stop assuming bullshit."

"Fine then, I'll go spill some random drinks over someone and then hold their arms to clean their thighs." Jeonghan blurted out, "Does a single word of this sentence sound alright? Tell me? I don't mind her helping you but do I have to teach you that her touches were fucking inappropriate and you both didn't even realise that shit?"

Seungcheol inhaled a deep breath as he clearly understood the scenario but what was he supposed to do, "What do you want me to do Jeonghan? Push her on the ground?"

"No? The thing you did after I glared at you." Jeonghan stated, "You could've simply asked her to leave."

"I don't understand why are we arguing over a third person." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.

"Because that third person got her hands over you, without your consent." Jeonghan scoffed, "It's like I'm teaching a kid about good touch and bad touch."

"Jeonghan, it's not that deep." Seungcheol explained even though he himself used to feel uncomfortable because of his manager on a regular basis, "I'm not a kid, I understand everything. It happened way too abruptly for me to figure it out."

"Keep assuring yourself." Jeonghan gave up, "I'm leaving."

"Jeonghan, let's drop it, can we?" Seungcheol's voice softened, "I know you're stressed right now but calm down."

Seungcheol didn't know why Jeonghan was reacting so aggressively because he didn't know that Jeonghan knew a few things about Hana which he himself didn't.

Yes, the day when Jeonghan first encountered his new manager and she had the audacity to ask how he and Seungcheol were doing, he immediately found her suspecious.

He went with his intuitions and appointed someone to follow her 24/7. And he was surprised to find out that Hana often met with Jaejun and Leehyuk. Although he didn't know about her intentions but the people she was interacting with, weren't for good.

On the day when he had a couple photoshoot with Seungcheol, he had recieved a call from the same man and he told him that Hana's actual residence was different from the one she had mentioned in her CV. She had no experience in that field but she still managed to secure a job at one of the most reputed companies.

Jeonghan wanted to discuss this with Seungcheol or Seungkwan but it was too early to jump into any conclusion so he was simply waiting for his plan to proceed.

"I'm- uh- I don't know what's wrong with me today. I'm sorry." Jeonghan mumbled when he realised he went too far with his words. But he couldn't help it, he had zero trust on Hana and her intentions.

"Alright, let's go out." Seungcheol nodded, "C'mon?! Or do you want me to lift you up and take you out?"

"Oh?" Jeonghan teasingly chuckled, "Do it then. If you can."

"You underestimate me way too much, don't you?" Seungcheol walked towards him, "Did you already forget that I carried you all the way down from your cabin when you were drunk that night?"

"I think I don't remember." Jeonghan winked, "Remind me?"

Seungcheol wasted no time as he slipped one arm behind Jeonghan's back and another one beneath his knees. He swiftly lifted him up within his arms, "Let's go."

"WAIT NOO!" Jeonghan clutched the older's coat, "This is not our home Seungcheol, this is your office. Maintain the dignity!"

"You should've thought about it before gaslighting me." Seungcheol chuckled.

"Okay stop it, stop!!"

"Just like that?" Seungcheol thought for a while, "Okay, say that Choi Seungcheol is the best man I've ever met in my entire life, then I'll stop."

"What?" Jeonghan laughed, "I'm not saying that."

"Fine then, let's go." Seungcheol shrugged.

"Okay wait I'll say it." Jeonghan rolled his eyes, "Choi Seungcheol is the best man I've ever met in my entire life. He's so good that I literally want to kill him. Now put me down!!!"

"Good." Seungcheol laughed as he followed the instructions.

Meanwhile Hana kept fuming in her cabin, alone, "When I thought everything was falling into place, he had to fucking marry. And now he's doing everything his husband wants him to ARGHHH. I can't even harm Jeonghan because of these bastards Leehyuk and Jaejun."

She sighed in distress after which her lips curled into a wide grin, "Oh but wait, I can at least let him feel the terror. Yoon Jeonghan, you better leave my man really soon."

On the other hand, when Jeonghan left the BSK HQ, Seungcheol went to the practice room to start rehearsing for the fan meeting of their comeback.

Hoshi and Dino were present there to monitor their choreography and as the mentors, they were pretty strict. Age order didn't matter when they were professional.

After a while, they were all sweating heavily as all of them were drained out of energy because of the continuous rehearsals.

"Okay we can take some rest now." Hoshi declared as the members of Serenity immediately collapsed on the floor after the vigorous practise.

Dino and Hoshi began to discuss the next steps of the choreography while the Serenity members drowned themselves with water.

Mingyu walked over to get his phone and as expected there was a text from Jeonghan. It was a query related to Seungcheol's schedule Mingyu has sent him as he was doubtful over a certain thing.

He immediately began to type an answer but within a snap of second, he felt his phone being snatched away. He could swear that his soul had left his body as he knew he fucked up a greater time.

Meanwhile, Jeonghan was going back to his own office after the exhaustive meeting with BSK. He was sitting at the back of the car along with Jun while the driver was driving the car.

"Why were you going to leave the meeting?" Jun asked about the earlier incident.

"It was getting too late so I just blew up." Jeonghan sighed, "But then I met Seungcheol on the way and we talked it out."

"That's great- WHAT THE FUCK?!" Jun yelled when the driver took a sharp cut and both the passengers were shook by the risky driving.

"What are you doing Mr. Ha?" Jeonghan rebuked.

"Sorry sir, that vehicle came out of nowhere." The driver apologised.

"WATCH IT!" Jeonghan screamed when he saw the huge truck coming their way. The driver changed the lane and so did the truck.

"Is he drunk?" Jun mumbled looking at the truck approaching them.

"Mr. Ha change the lane again!" Jeonghan hurried up.

"Y-yes sir." The driver was also in distress. He changed his way at the last moment and the truck passed them with a high speed.

Jun quickly took a picture of its number plate after which their car crashed against a tree. The airbags helped a lot but couldn't control the entire damage.

All three of them stepped out of the car as they found forest areas on either side of the road.

"I'm-" The driver hesitated, "I'm sorry sir."

"It's okay Mr. Ha, it's not your fault." Jeonghan assured.

"I'll ask Minghao to find out about this truck driver, I took a picture of the number plate." Jun informed.

"No, wait." Jeonghan intervened, "Send me the picture, I'll look into it. Don't worry about it."

Jun nodded but the next moment he pulled Jeonghan towards his side, "HYUNG!!"

A huge rock fell over the car where Jeonghan was previously standing.

Jeonghan clutched his chest, "What the-"

All three of them rushed into the forest to find out the culprit but no one was found.

"What is even happening?!" Jeonghan yelled in frustration.

"This doesn't look like a coincidence." Jun muttered, "The way the truck driver was driving and now this."

"Call Joshua and ask him to send another car for us." Jeonghan asked, "Forget it for now, I'll look into it, don't worry."

"But hyung-"

"It's fine Jun, we already have a lot of work load, focus on that first."

A/n : Jeonghan : exists
Seungcheol's brain : Lift him up! LIFT HIM UP!

Anyways, take care everyone!
