1 - 7 PM

"Cheol, I swear if you don't show up today, I'll disown you." An elegant lady in her late 40s rebuked as she sat on the luxurious sofa within the hall of a ravishing mansion.

"Mom, I told you I'll be there." Seungcheol explained, "It's a big day for Seokmin, of course I won't miss it. It's just that I'll be there at 7:30 pm instead of 7, please try to understand."

"Calm down hun, he'll come." Seungcheol's father's voice was heard followed by his mom again, "7:30 pm. If you don't make it by 7:30, you're done for."

"Yes mom, don't worry." Seungcheol reassured and hung up the call.

He knew her mother's distress. He was an idol so of course he was packed up with hectic schedules so it was hard for him to make time for his family, no matter how guilty he felt for that.

And over that, his mom was now desperate to fix his marriage. She had decided to tie Seungcheol in the knots of an arranged marriage because her son wasn't doing any better with his love life.

Again, he was an idol so he had time boundations. He had been attracted to many and even had dated some. But never once in his lifetime, he found someone so endearing to ask them for such a huge decision.

He was single right now and was focusing on his group, Serenity. But his mom was working harder. She had been organising blind dates for him but they didn't go well either.

Of course she was desperate but she wasn't trying to ruin his son's life. She wanted a person with good personality to stand beside him. Someone who could actually care for him. Someone who could have a mutual understanding with him.

Not like, she wanted the other person to do all the things. She believed that she had nurtured her son to be a gentleman so he had to bear those responsibilies too. And if not, she knew how to make her son a good husband.

But in all the cases, she just wanted Seungcheol to marry, as soon as possible.

"When are you leaving hyung?" Wonwoo, his band-mate and friend walked towards him along with Mingyu.

"I'm leaving in 10 minutes." Seungcheol replied, "I've to get ready as well."

"Congratulate Seokmin on our behalf." Mingyu chuckled, "We'll have a meal with him soon."

Seokmin, Seungcheol's younger brother was pretty close with Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon. They used to hang out every now and then.

"Where's Vernon though?"

"In CEO Boo's cabin." Wonwoo answered, "You know how close they are."

"True." Seungcheol laughed, "Well, I'll go now or my mom is going to disown me."

"Aunt must be so stressed." Mingyu settled on the sofa in the hall of their huge dorm, "You should marry someone hyung, she'll find her peace eventually."

"I see you just want to kick me out of this dorm." Seungcheol cocked a brow, "Vernon is always busy with the CEO and you want me to leave as well so that you'll get your personal time with Wonwoo."

"Whatever hyung!" Wonwoo intervened.

"I was saying it for your own good." Mingyu shrugged.

It was when Vernon walked in, "Hyung, things got cleared up."

"Oh that scandal?" Seungcheol cocked a brow.

"Yes. Check your social media." Vernon nodded. Just a few days ago, Seungcheol was caught in a dating scandal with a famous model. It wasn't new for him. These scandals and controversies were a regular thing for all the artists of BSK.

Seungcheol pulled out his phone to scroll through the news spreading like fire in a forest.

Dispatch
The agencies of SCOUPS and KIM HARI released respective statements denieng the rumours. It is also being said that CHARMS LABEL might be involved in spreading the fake news.

still_wu_jk replied to Dispatch
As if we didn't know who the actual culprit was. Same shit, different day.

Mingyu_bigboy replied to Dispatch
Not this bish Park Jaejun again. Man wouldn't let us get a genuine dating news.

Ryeoshim replied to Mingyu_bigboy
Of course it has to be him. Jealousy is a disease.

Atsukochiaki replied to still_wu_jk
This bro can't focus in his own agency and keeps framing BSK artists. Some people should really get a life.

bangpink739273 replied to Dispatch
Park Jaejun again? Man is embarassing himself in every possible way.

Cheollie0 replied to Dispatch
What's wrong with him? At this rate no one will support the artists of his company. He needs to stop framing BSK artists fr.

chewnotchwebaby replied to Dispatch
Why is everyone even surprised atp? I already knew it was him. It's like whenever I get a weird news about them, my first thought is that it might be a conspiracy by him.
Anyways, our leader is the best!

sugar1802 replied to Dispatch
I'm so done with this man trying his luck and failing everytime miserably. Bro needs to see a therapist and keep his jealousy in control.

aleksanderkometa replied to Dispatch
I officially hate this man now. Like live your own life, work hard for your own company? Why trying to bring down others?

HybesTrashGurl replied to Dispatch
Well, they made Sukyo to slap such people- Like, this just shows how much that bish is burning with Serenity's success. Anyways, congratulations leader Coups to get cleared off from the scandal, we'll always support you!

Park Jaejun was the CEO of another entertainment company called Charms Label. He was often found suspicious for spreading fake rumours against the artists of BSK to bring them down.

Of course he was never caught, money worked. But at this point, the fans of BSK artists began to believe that he was indeed the culprit.

And Boo Seungkwan, the CEO of BSK couldn't be happier. His rival was always facing backlash, what else would he need? And now, even if any of his artists would get caught in a scandal due to some other reasons, he used to anonymously frame Jaejun again.

"That's great." Seungcheol chuckled, "Anyways, I'll leave now or else I don't know what mom is going to do with me.

Seungcheol walked out of his car as it halted in front of the Yoon Mansion. When he was completely out of the car, he felt a sharp gaze over himself. He turned around and found no one who might be piercing holes through their eyes into him.

He shrugged it off as he focused on the mansion in front of him.

And he swore that a particular someone that came into his sight was inevitable but he didn't want him to be the first ever person to witness.

Yoon Jeonghan, of course he was the eldest son of the Yoon family and the event demanded his presence.

But why was he standing at the front door? Why couldn't he just stay inside?

Yes Seungcheol knew Jeonghan, a bit very well. It was a high school rivalry that never ended. It was dragged so badly that in the present, Seungcheol and Jeonghan even clashed in a meeting of BSK with Rose Quartz, of course with an excuse.

But thanks to the CEO, Boo Seungkwan, everything settled down.

Seungcheol used to strongly hate the younger during the later half of high school but as time passed and they matured, the hate probably decreased but never vanished.

He would never forgive Jeonghan for what he did.

It was a long story to be honest and Seungcheol knew that he would recall a lot of sour memories in the following days.

Because his younger brother, Choi Seokmin was going to marry Jeonghan's younger brother, Yoon Joshua.

No one was against that love marriage. And that's why a dinner was organised by the Yoons to celebrate this wonderful event.

Seungcheol wasn't unhappy with the get together at all. What bothered him was his mom's desperation to get him married too.

And the topic of tonight's meeting was marriage itself. There was no way his mom was going to stay quiet.

He scoffed as a staff member of Yoon Mansion was already there to escort him.

As he was nearing the main door, Jeonghan's voice was heard clearly, "Yeah the cheque will reach you by tomorrow."

He was talking on his phone. Good thing, Seungcheol could pass easily.

Oh, he thought. Because Jeonghan hung up the call and as soon as he turned around, he witnessed the older, dressed in a decent suit, looking as fine as he always did.

The staff member bowed to his boss, oblivious of the tension around them.

Jeonghan scoffed as he put on a fake smile, "Welcome Mr. Choi, nice to meet you."

Seungcheol retorted the formality, "My pleasure."

Both of them walked into the mansion as if they were not feeling overwhelmed from the inside.

It was okay though, both of them were family people. They could endure each other for the happiness of their close ones.

"Oh c'mon boys!" Sana beamed as her eyes lit up.

Seungcheol noticed the spark in her eyes. When he looked beside him, Jeonghan was walking along with him with a small smile.

No! Seungcheol mentally tucked a note that he had to stay away from Jeonghan during this meeting. Because he very well understood what was going on within his mom's mind.

"I'm so glad that Seokmin is marrying Joshua." Choi Sunwoo remarked, "This occasion is worth loads of celebration."

"Right, we've always been friends but this relation between both the families is even more special." Yoon Jaebyeom chuckled.

"But I'm a bit sad." Sana pursed her lips, "Joshua and Jeonghan don't come to see me often now."

"I'm sorry mom if you felt that way." Joshua bowed slightly. Yes he used to call her mom because he simply had the right to.

"Forgive me too aunt, we'll visit you soon!" Jeonghan sipped his drink.

"It felt so good when Joshua called me mom and then you ruined my mood with your aunt agenda." Sana sighed, "You can call me mom too. I mean, aren't we close enough?"

Jeonghan cleared his throat and grinned, "Sure aun- mom."

"She's more happy to have you both as her sons." Seokmin joked.

"Don't worry hun." Yoon Jiah nodded, "I'm better off with you and Seungcheol too."

"Then shall we begin the process of exchanging houses?" Seungcheol laughed.

It was when he looked at his mother who was constantly staring at Jeonghan with a small smile as if she was admiring him secretly.

Seungcheol's heartbeat rose. He patted Sana's arm to gain her attention, "What are you doing mom?" He mumbled.

"What?" Sana innocently asked.

Don't even think about it. Seungcheol conveyed the message through his eyes but Sana just shrugged and looked away.

"Excuse me!" Jeonghan stood up from the gathering after the dinner ended. Within a while, he returned with some packages in his hands and a proud smile.

"What's this?" Sunwoo asked.

"Actually I bought some gifts when I heard about the dinner." Jeonghan placed them on the table, "Mom and dad keep seeing you. Joshua also remains in contact with you. But I was going to see you after a long time so I just wanted something to mark this important event."

"Ayy look at this gentleman, he's so thoughtful." Sana was visibly impressed. Over-impressed from Seungcheol's point of view.

Jeonghan politely handed them the gifts after which the Yoons suggested to spend some time in the garden area from where one could witness one of the best scenes of the night sky.

"It's actually very beautiful." Sunwoo remarked, "Jae, you're so done for showing us this place for the first time even when we've visited your mansion a lot of times."

"Forgive me." Jaebyeom laughed as he swung his arm around his friend.

"I have something serious to say." Sana cleared her throat.

Seungcheol's eyes shot up towards his mom. Was she really going to do something really bad?

"I'm very happy for Joshua and Seokmin." Sara began, "It would be a huge pleasure to see them getting married. But you see, my other son is giving me a hard time in this matter even if he's older than Seok."

Everyone looked at her with a tint of confusion except for two people. First was Sunwoo who already knew what his wife had to say. Second was Seungcheol who was rather worried because he kinda knew her thoughts as well.

"So I wanted to propose one more thing." Sana laid back on her chair and it just made Seungcheol really dizzy. He just hoped she wasn't going to say what he was fearing the whole time as he had heard everything she was mumbling to his father about his marriage.

"I want."

No!

"My son, Seungcheol."

Please stop!

"To marry your son Jeonghan."

So the bomb actually exploded?
