Rahul and Athiya were shocked as they both were drenched in water which was splashed on them by Siri and Jassi.

Rahul (angrily): What the..

He stopped as he saw Athiya was looking at him with wide eyes.

Siri: O Teri...

Jassi (shouting): Bhabhis.. Bhaiyas..

Athiya almost flinch at the sudden shout whereas Rahul was cursing himself internally for not telling Athiya anything. He looked at her who was looking at everything with wide confused eyes.

Ritz: Kya hai Jassi? Why are you shout..

She said this much when her gaze fell on Rahul and Athiya who were drench in water.

Ritz (shouting): Roooo... Viiii...

Virat was pacing here and there in Mahi's room. He was tensed since the time Rahul has called him.

Anu: Vi..

Virat: Nushkie kuchh gadbad zaroor hai. Rah ne bas yeh bola ki he is coming. Main uspe chilla raha tha ki itne dino se baat nahi kar raha na message check kiye hai kuchh ata pata nahi uska. Even Mayank didn't know anything and phir woh khud out of town chala gaya.

Mahi: Cheeku.. shant beta. Aa raha hai na woh apni aankho se dekh lena ki kya hai okay...

Rohit: Yes Vi.. calm down.

Ash: If It's Rah, You and Mahi Bhai.. He can never ever keep calm. But Vi.. you have to stay calm because if there is something which you need to address for Rah, it's important that specially you stay calm

Rohit: Exactly Vi. Rah sirf tumhari baat shanti se sunta hai you know na

Virat: Yaar aap logo ne mujhe Bangalore jane kyu nahi diya? I know something is fishy.. I just.. I just know..

Anu: Vi.. calm down we will talk to him directly okay.. and you..

She said this much when they all heard Ritz shouting and calling for them. Sakshi who was in kitchen came running in the hall followed by Virushka, MahiRo and Ash.

All were surprised to see Rahul with a girl and they both were drenched in water.

Rahul leaned forward to Siri and Jassi and talked with them in low voice.

Rahul: What is this?

Jassi: Are tum itne dino se gayab the to tumhari punishment thi

Siri: Are lekin Rah Bhai yeh madam kon hai?

Virat: Rah..

Rahul looked at him and the vulnerability washed over his face but he quickly composed himself clearing his throat.

Sakshi: Rah.. yeh bheeg kaise Gaye? Aur yeh ladki kon hai?

Anu: Dost hai Rah?

Rahul looked at Athiya who was  looking down seeing everyone looking at him while fidgeting with her fingers.

Rahul: Bhabhi.. Main.. Meri.. I mean hamari.. hum.. hum dono..

Virat came forward and stood in front. Rahul looked down not knowing how to say the truth. Athiya looked at him. Disappointment was clearly visible on her face but then whom she was kidding.. He was already irritated with marriage.. It's his kindness that he was not venting his anger on her and has been considerate towards her.

Rahul looked at Athiya and he was able to see the disappointment in her eyes. He realised what he was doing. Him not being able to acknowledge their marriage would be hurting her. He remembered his promise to Mahesh uncle. He sighed and took a deep breath.

Rahul: She is Athiya.. My wife.

Athiya looked at him quite surprisingly.

Virat: Rah.. It's not a joke..

Rahul: Yes Bhaiya.. It's not a joke. I.. I am married now.. She is my wife.

A wave of shock ran through the players and their wives present there. Mahi and Sakshi looked at each other and nodded in yes.

Sakshi: Anu.. jao aarti ki thali le aao. Naye jode ko aise hi kaise ghar ke andar le aaye

Anu nodded in yes and she and Ritz almost ran and quickly prepared Aarti and came there.

Sakshi: Anu karo tum..

Anu: Lekin bhabhi.. apke aur Ritz ke hote hue main..

Sakshi blinked in assurance and Anu nodded in yes. She was about to start Aarti but stopped when she saw Athiya was keeping palloo over her head. The ladies instantly connected with her seeing her respecting rituals a lot. They smiled warmly at her and then Anu was about to start Aarti but again stopped and looked at Rahul.

Anu: Rah.. iske paas khade ho. Dono ki sath me aarti karni hai

Rahul once looked at Athiya and then nodded in yes and stood beside her. The elders shared a sort of worried look with each other before they composed themselves and Anu did the Aarti.

Ritz: Ab andar aao dono.

Sakshi took Aarti from Anu's hand and signed her towards Athiya. She nodded in yes and went to Athiya. She held her by her shoulders.

Anu: Chalo andar..

They came inside.

Rohit: Rah.. go and change.

Ritz: Athiya tum ek kam karo.. mera room yahi hai niche change kar lo chalo come..

Athiya looked at Rahul.

Rahul: Bhabhi ke sath Jake change kar lo.

Athiya nodded in yes and then ladies took her.

Mahi: Rah kiddo go to your room and change okay

Rahul nodded in yes and went towards his room but inbetween he met Shubhi and Harry

Harry: Hey bro.. you are back..

Rahul: Yeah.. And even got The Unexpected Welcome by getting drenched in water.

Harry and Shubhi chuckled.

Shubhi: Haan to itne dino tak gayab ho gaye the. Punishment to milni hi thi. Anyways go to my room. Kaha apke room tak jana hai change hi karna hai na apko?

Rahul: Thanks Shubhi. I'll see you guys after changing.

Saying so he started going towards Shubhi's room totally oblivious to the thing that Harry and Shubhi were following him while controlling their chuckle.

As soon as Rahul opened Shubhi's room, he was again drenched in water. But this time, in totally green coloured water.

Rahul (shouting): What the hell??

Harry and Shubhi were laughing like maniac seeing him like that.

Rahul: I won't spare you two

Harry and Shubhi ran downstairs with Rahul following them. Athiya has already changed and she was with ladies, Virat, Mahi, Rohit, Ash, Jassi, Siri in the hall when Harry and Shubhi came there running followed by a green coloured Rahul. Shubhi and Harry stopped seeing a new person in the house.

Rahul (shouting): You Pig, Dog, Donkey, Fu..

He stopped as he saw Athiya there. Athiya looked at him with wide eyes.
Seeing her like that he looked here and there. Athiya too started looking here and there.

Mahi: Rah.. go to my room and changed go..

He went from there.

Rohit: Kya hai yeh tum logo ka?

Harry: B-Ro hum to bas mazak kar rahe the.

Shubhi: Lekin yeh kon hai?

Jassi: Rah ko wife..

Harry and Shubhi: Oh..

All looked at them with their reaction. Harry and Shubhi realised what they heard.

Harry and Shubhi (shocked): What??

Virat: Ab shock me raho thode time jab tak Rah nahi aata

Rahul came there after a while. He sat on the sofa.

Sakshi: Rah.. Athiya.. Shaadi ki baat chal Rahi thi kya?

Rahul: Nahi.. bhabhi actually woh..

His gaze fell on Shubhi.

Rahul: Shubhi.. tu ja. And see where is Shrey, Rishu and Ishu.

Shubhi: Are lekin..

Virat: Shubhi go..

Shubhi went from there.

Once he left, Rahul sighed but started narrating everything. All were surprised as well as shocked and felt bad for Rahul and Athiya both specially Athiya. She has now lost both of her parents and got married to Rahul.

The atmosphere was heavy. Mahi cleared his throat.

Mahi: Ek kam karo. Tum dono jao thoda rest kar lo. Itne dino se aise hi ho aur aaj hi itna travel kar chuke ho. Rah.. Athiya ko le jao

Rahul nodded in yes and they both got up to go and just then Shrey, Ishu, Rishu came with Shubhi. Shubhi has not told them about Athiya being Rahul's wife so they all continued with their part of the punishment.

Ishu & Rishu (teasing): Hamari bhabhi kaisi ho? Nidhi bhabhi jaisi ho..

Ishu & Rishu (teasing): Hamari bhabhi kaisi ho? Nidhi bhabhi jaisi ho..

Rahul was shocked hearing this and so as others. But most shocked person was Athiya.

Shubhi facepalmed himself. Harry was signing the kids to stop but they were busy in teasing according to them.

Rahul (angrily): Enough

Athiya flinched hearing this and rest all were highly shocked.

Ishu: Bhaiya hum to bas apko aise hume ghost karne ke liye punishment..

Rahul (angrily): Do hell with your punishment

Shrey: Rah kya hua? Itna gusse me kyu hai?

Rohit: Rah tum jao. Main bata dunga inn logo ko. Jao tum.

Rahul nodded in yes and looked at Athiya whose face was showing she was hurt hearing this. Rahul cursed internally once again. Athiya saw him looking at her and she quickly masked her hurt but Rahul knew it and her sudden changes in expressions were noticed by the Seniors and ladies.

Rahul (softly): Chale?

Athiya nodded in yes and they both went upstairs towards his room.

Jassi: Achchha hai dono room me Jake thoda rest kar lenge. Kitne thake hue lag rahe the

Rest all agreed though Shrey, Rishu and Ishu were clueless. Suddenly Harry spoke.

Harry: Oh Sh*t..

Virat: Ab kya hua?

Harry: Woh log Rah ke room me gaye?

Ash: Of course Harry.

Shubhi: Are roko unko.. warna hum log Gaye kam se..

The juniors with Harry and Shrey ran upstairs.

Rohit: Jassi.. aur kitna plan Kiya hai tum sab ne Rah ko pareshan karne ke liye?

Jassi: Bhaiya woh.. yeh room wala last tha. Actually sab bahut pareshan ho gaye the Rah se contact hi nahi ho pa raha tha na bas iss liye.

Siri: Dar bhi gaye the thode. Woh kabhi itne time Tak aise kisi se bhi bina baat kiye bina koi khabar diye nahi rehte na

Rest all sighed.

Anu: Whatever it is but It was The Disastrous Welcome of a newly wed couple

Rahul was about to open his room but Harry stopped him..

Harry: Rah.. mere room me rest kar lo na tum dono. Itne time tum nahi the na to cleaning karna baki hai

Rahul: Harry please paka mat. Maine Virat bhaiya ko call karke bata diya tha ki I am coming and do you really think main yeh manunga ki woh mera room clean nahi karwayenge even though unko pata hai that I am coming.

Shubhi: Bhaiya.. woh Vi Bhai busy the thode

Rahul: Find some other Excuse Shubhi

Saying so Rahul opened his room and he and Athiya were shocked to see the state of the room. There were clothes scattered on almost everything in the room. The video game remotes were lying there on the floor with batteries out. The bedsheet was changed to orange one which Rahul hates.

Rahul (angrily): What the Fu"k!!

Athiya snapped her head and looked at him.

Rahul: What is this Harry?

Harry: Sorry yaar.. really sorry

Rishu: Haan bhaiya woh apko pareshan karne ke liye yeh sab.. but hum sab sahi kar denge

Ishu: Haan bhaiya please.. abhi aap jao aur Vi Bhai ya Ro Bhai ke room me rest kar lo theek hai. Hum log yeh sab clean kar denge

Shubhi: Please give us a chance bhaiya please..

Rahul: Fine..

Saying so Rahul went from there. Shrey, Rishu, Ishu and Shubhi went inside and started cleaning the room.

Harry: Sorry for that Nidhi wala mazak. Bas Rah ko irritate karne ke liye bol rahe the woh log. Rah ka baat friend hoon iss liye bata raha hoon ki uski life me koi nahi hai. Nidhi sirf ek dost hai uske liye aur kuchh nahi. Rah se contact nahi ho pa raha tha bas iss liye sab thode se dar gaye the aur yeh sab punishment de rahe the. Hume pata nahi tha ki woh kyu available nahi tha. Sorry for the loss.

Athiya gave him a small formal smile clearly stating that she is still not that much comfortable to open up or talk there with all of them.

Harry: Guys from now onwards no jokes of Nidhi and Rah. She is Athiya.. Rah's wife and our bhabhi. So behave accordingly

Shrey, Ishu, Rishu: Sorry Bhabhi

Athiya gave them a slight nod.

Harry then went from there. Athiya too followed him till downstairs and then she went to kitchen to help the ladies while Rahul was sitting on the sofa beside Virat.

Virat: You okay Rah?

Rahul didn't say anything. Virat took him in a gentle hug while rubbing his back.

Virat: Calm down okay. Hum sab hai na sath me. Sab theek ho jayega

Rahul nodded in yes in the hug only. They broke the hug. Rahul's silence was scaring them. But soon the silence and heaviness in the atmosphere lighten as Ziva, Sammy and Vami came there.

Vami (squealing): Rah Cha...

She ran to him and he too smiled at the kids and picked Vami and made her sit in his lap. He hugged the other two too. Athiya and Ladies too came there as the dinner was ready.

Athiya saw Rahul was playing with Vami and other kids and there was a constant smile on his face. She too smiled seeing him smiling.

Anu: Vami.. Sammy.. Zivu.. meet your new Chachi.. Athiya Chachi..

She introduced her to which she waved at them. The kids waved back.

Anu: Apke Rah Chachu hai na unki wife hain.. To jaise Chachu waise Chachi..

Vami: Rah Chi..

Anu: Kya?

Vami: (Pointing towards Rahul) Rah Cha.. (Pointing towards Athiya) Rah Chi..

Ziva: Welcome Chachi..

Sammy: Welcome Chachi..

Vami: Rah Chi...

All chuckled.

Mahi: Chalo dinner kar lete hai

Athiya: Aap log baith jaiye. Main khana serve kar deti hoon

She went to dining area and started arranging everything. Ritz and Sakshi went to help her. Rahul was just looking at her. He sighed after a while. Anu was still in the hall with others.

Rahul: Athiya ko kuchh khila Dena bhabhi.. Usne itne dino se theek se kuchh nahi khaya. Aaj bhi Bangalore air port pe coffee pi thi woh bhi maine force Kiya iss liye.

Anu sighed.

Anu: Rah.. Woh abhi hum logo ko nahi janti. Janti hai to sirf tumhe. Woh hamari baat manna chahe to bhi nahi maan payegi lekin tumhari taal nahi payegi. It should be you who should ask her to eat properly

Rahul looked at other side. Rest all looked at each other and then at him. The discomfort of the marriage was visible on his face.

Mahi: Achchha abhi chalo khana kha lete hai. Kafi baatein ho gayi

They got up and went to dining area. Athiya was feeding Vami with her food while making her sit in her lap. Rest all too settled at their places except those who were cleaning Rahul's room.

Sakshi: Umm.. Rah.. Yeh lo.. Halwa Khao sab se pehle..

Rahul took a bite.

Rahul: It's really Yum bhabhi.. bahut  swaad bana hai

Ritz: Hai na.. I knew it you will like it. Issi liye to Athiya se banwaya tha

She instantly bit her Tongue whereas Sakshi and Anu glared at her and Athiya was looking down. Rahul was quite shocked and in that state, he choked the food and started coughing.

Athiya (concerned): Sambhalke..

Rahul drank some water while looking at her. He then looked here and there.

Virat: Rah.. khana finish karna hai pura

Rahul: Ji bhaiya..

He again resumed eating.

Anu: Athiya.. ab main khila dungi.. Tum bhi kha lo chalo..

Athiya: Koi baat nahi bhabhi main khila lungi. Mujhe waise bhi bhukh nahi hai

Rahul: Tumne kitne ghanto se kuchh nahi khaya.. yaha tak ki pani tak nahi Piya. Abhi dinner karo shanti se. Iss ghar me meals skip karna allowed nahi hai

Though he said it normally but his tone was slightly stern. Athiya looked down and then served herself with food and started eating. Rahul sighed in relief as she at least had sufficient food.

Rohit: Baki sab kidhar hai?

Harry: Rah ka room clean kar rahe hai.

Mahi: Ek kam karo. Rah, Athiya aaj ke din dono guest room me reh lo.

He said this when Shrey, Ishu, Rishu and Shubhi came.

Ishu: Guest room kyu? Humne Rah bhaiya ke room ko clean kar diya hai.

Rishu: Aap log apne room me hi rest karo

Rahul: Thanks

Shrey: Sorry Rah.. pata nahi tha shaadi ke bare me.

Rahul gave him a small smile.

Shubhi, Ishu, Rishu: Sorry Bhai.. Bhabhi..

Athiya: It's okay

Rahul: Age se aisa mat karna guys please

They agreed and joined others in having dinner. Once done, they were sitting in the hall.

Sakshi: Waise tum dono ki shaadi ke baad ki sari rasme ho gayi na?

Rahul: Gruh pravesh ho gaya... Woh kumkum wale Pani me pair rakh ke mandir jate hai woh ho gaya.. Muh dikhai bhi ho gayi

Ritz: Aur pehli rasoi?

Rahul: Khana banane ka time kaha tha bhabhi..

Rohit: Iska matlab Athiya ki pehli rasoi aaj ho gayi. Waah.. Kya mast halwa bana tha.

Anu: Exactly.. waise bhi kuchh meetha hi bante hai

Sakshi: Chalo to phir yeh bhi ho Gaya..

Ishu: Waise woh Ring find karte hai na usme kon jeeta aap dono mese?

Shubhi: I was going to ask the same. Meri to favourite rasam hai woh

Athiya: Woh baki hai

Sakshi: Theek hai to phir.. sab yahi hai to yeh rasam bhi puri kar lete hai

The Juniors happily jumped while hooting. The seniors smiled at their excitement whereas RahIya looked at each other with blank faces.

Soon Sakshi arrived with bowl full of milk and then she put Athiya's ring into it.

Sakshi: Chalo ab dono dhundho ring ko

Athiya and Rahul both started searching the ring but none was able to find it.

Shubhi: Bhabhi jeetana hai

Ishu: Haan bhabhi izzat ka sawaal hai

Rahul: Abe namoono.. mere sath khelte ho tum log.. You guys should be at my side

Rishu: Apko jo bolna ho bolo hum to Bhabhi ki side hai

Rahul shook his head at their antics. Finally which looked like an eternity, Rahul and Athiya both were able to find the ring and they both together took out it.

Shrey: Are yeh to dono ne sath me nikali

Mahi: Matlab dono hamesha Sambhalke nibhayenge apne rishte ko..

All smiled.

Sakshi: Okay ab bahut hua Masti mazak. Rah.. Athiya jao aur Jake rest karo..

Rahul and Athiya nodded in yes and were about to get up but again stopped by Sakshi.

Sakshi: Rah.. pehle ring to pehna do Athiya ko

Rahul and Athiya looked at each other and then looked down. Rahul nodded in yes and made Athiya wear the ring. All clapped for them.

Virat: Ab jao dono..

Rahul and Athiya both nodded in yes and went upstairs. They reached Rahul's room. Rahul opened the door and was shocked and so as Athiya. The room which was looking like a mess was now all cleared and the entire room was decorated with flowers. The bed was having white bed sheet with rose petals all scattered over the bed. There were so many candles planted there. There was a mild fragrance which was actually really nice.

Rahul and Athiya went inside the room.

Rahul: Inn logo ko room clean karne ko bola tha yeh sab karna ko nahi

Athiya though was surprised but she couldn't hide the slight blush which came on her cheeks.

Rahul's gaze fell on a card kept there. He picked it up and opened it.

"Hamari shaitani ko nadaani samaj ke maaf kar dena bhaiya bhabhi.. We are sorry and make up karne ke liye hamara yeh surprise jaisa bhi laga ho.. Enjoy😉"

Rahul was reading it out aloud and coughed at the last word though Athiya has heard it. Once again she felt her cheeks were getting warmer.

Rahul's gaze fell on Athiya who was blushing. Rahul sighed sadly. He really didn't want to give her any wrong signal.

Rahul closed the door of the room from inside. Athiya's heartbeats were quickening at his antics.

Rahul: Athiya.. Let's be practical. Jis tarah se shaadi hui woh.. Khair woh sab chhodo. Look Athiya.. Tum meri responsibility ho aur hamesha rahogi. Lekin please mujse zyada kuchh expect mat karna..

Athiya's face visibly fell but she quickly masked it and it was not unnoticed by Rahul.

Rahul: Athiya.. tum bed pe so jao main sofe pe so jaunga

Athiya: Nahi.. aap yaha palang pe so jao. Main waha so jaungi

Rahul: Athiya tumhari height hai

Athiya: Apki bhi to hai na

Rahul: Are lekin..

Athiya: Apko waise bhi back me dard ho raha tha na

Rahul: Tumhe kaise pata?

Athiya: Apko dekha tha kafi baar back ki wajah se takleef hote hue

Rahul: Lekin.. tum waha theek se nahi so paogi

Athiya: Umm... Agar .. agar apko sahi Lage to kya hum dono palang pe so sakte hai?

Rahul: Are you sure? Tumhe uncomfortable to feel nahi hoga na?

Athiya: Apne Pati ke saath hi share karna hai. Isme kaise??

Rahul nodded in yes.

Athiya: Apko agar Uncomfortable lag raha hai fo...

Rahul: Nahi it's ok.. I guess hum log manage kar lenge.

Athiya smiled slightly at him though that smile didn't reach her eyes. They both finally layed down on the bed back facing each other. The exhaustion was visible on their faces. They didn't even know when sleep took over them.

Athiya shifted towards Rahul in sleep. Rahul too did the same and they were now asleep hugging each other .
