Erza's Pov

The day went by rather quickly as I attended all my classes like usual since there is no way I would even miss one of them. I frowned lightly as I would have had classes with, Natsu, Gajeel, Juvia, Lucy and Y/n, but for some reason they all were absent which upset me in some way, since I felt lonely. I was concerned for them, usually they would text me if they couldn't come to school. I checked my phone again and there was no message from them. 

I made my way to my car and drove home, I just wanted to get home and soak in the bathtub for a bit to relax from today's stress. With that in mind I reached Gray's door and wanted to open it. Weirdly enough it was looked. I thought they were home since they rarely go anywhere without me.

I shook my head smiling softly. "There is no way they would go without me." I though happily. I opened the door and let out a shriek and the door slammed shut behind me as confettis exploded in front of my face.

I lifted my eyes up towards a banner reading what was written on it in bolt letters. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERZA." All my friends stood under it, happy grins on their faces as I felt my eyes tear up in joy uncontrollably.

I laid my hands in front of my mouth so much was this surprise to me. I was too surprised by this and didn't even move, I was standing in front like a stone. All my friends where here. Gray, Natsu, Cana, Gajeel, Mira, Lisanna, Loke, Levy, Juvia, Lucy and even Laxus. "Guys you didn't have to." I mumbled sheepishly.

"Quit staring and come here." Cana said and motioned to them. I looked around but couldn't find him. "Where's Jellal?" I asked slightly sad and they were silent for a moment, before I heard a bike come in the driveway and the garage door closing. 

A second later Y/n walked in from the garage and then smiled at me slightly embarrassed. "Looks like I came just a little too late." He said and I just smiled at him as he walked closer to me. "Happy birthday Erza for your 19th." He whispered and hugged me tightly into his chest. I lifted my head to him and joyfully smiled. "I forgot about it honestly, I knew it was today but I was distracted from school." I murmured into the embrace and he laughed, a smile trailing on his lips as he tugged a strand of hair from my face to my ear.

I looked over to my friends. "Since Jellal missed your 18th we thought it was best to celebrate it again." Lucy said and I gave her a confused look. "You made this party just because he is here." I exclaimed slightly surprised. "And who's idea was this anyway for the party, I want to know it." I asked looking at them with an eyebrow raised. Lucy looked away and the others were silent. "It was mine Erza." Jellal spoke and my breath stopped. I turned to him smiling happily. "How did you know my birthday, I never told you it." I said and he scratched his cheek. "A certain someone told me it." He replied a pink hue slowly showed up on his cheeks as I raised an eyebrow before it clicked in my head. "It was my mom wasn't it." I asked a smirk tugging on my lips and he nodded. "Yeah it was her." He replied embarrassed looking away.

"Now quit it with the water works Erza." He whispered and I looked up at him and then to my friends. "Guys you really didn't have to, you know I'm not the kind of girl to like big parties." I said and Mira stifled a laugh. "Says the girl who got her mothers entire castle to celebrate her 18th and made us treat her like a queen." She scoffed and I glared at her. "That was just a single day that I made you do that to see how it is. We made all kinds of ruckus at her castle and we even used the weapons to have fun." I said and we laughed heaviky. "Yeah I wont forget how you ran after Natsu with a freaking Morningstar after he accidentally ruined your favorite dress." Lucy said holding her belly and I chuckled at the memory. 

"Now come here, Jellal isn't the only one who wants to hug you." Lucy said and we ended up in a big group hug. 

"Thank you guys, you really didn't have to but thanks." I said and laid my head on Y/n's chest smiling happily. 

"How can we not celebrate your birthday, when it's my first time with me being here." Jellal said with a teasing tone and I looked up to him. "Is that supposed to be a tease about something." I  asked with a small smile tugging on my lips and he reached up with his hand on my cheek. 

"I don't know if it was but it lies on you what will happen." He whispered and my heart skipped a beat from how it sounded. Was her referring to this night. I tapped him on his forehead. "What did you mean with that." I puffed my cheeks and he grinned at me before pulling away. "You'll see." He whispered teasingly.

"Alright you two need to stop flirting so openly or else something might happen. Erza go and change into something more suited for your birthday, you will not wear street clothes for it." Lucy said dragging me away not caring that I was blushing. "We weren't flirting!" I shot back at her embarrassed and she rolled her eyes as the others started to laugh. I looked over to Jellal who was talking with Mira and she gave him a smile before he turned around going downstairs as I was going up into my room.

"Whatever Erza, now get ready and take a bath and be quick we want to start soon so I think 15 minutes are enough." She said pushing me into the bathroom. I sighed with a content smile on my lips and closed it. "What a bunch of dorks." I murmured and quickly opened the faucet from the bathtub.

I was done 15 minutes later I was out with only a towel wrapped around me. I'm happy that I didn't need to walk back in my birthday suit like it happened several times causing the guys to earn a punch if they crossed me in the unfortunate event of it happening.

I raised my eyebrow as I noticed a dress cover laid on the bed. I made my way to it and uncovered it. I awed as I looked at it, it was red with a very light fabric structure and a little invisible on the top end part, the waist part was covered with brilliants going all around it. It was simple yet very pretty. I pulled it up to look at it closer. It was perfectly my stile and I loved it.

"Do you like it." A voice said and I turned to Lucy who was smiling gleefully at me. She was holding her make up products in hand. 

"I love it Lucy is it for me." I asked and Lucy just laughed. "No it's for Jellal to wear." She joked before I laughed and then she stopped still smiling. "Of course it's yours Erza." She added before showing me what she had in her hands. "You want to put on some nail color?" She asked and I shook my head. "No I'll just change into my dress. I replied and walked past her to the door closing it. 

Shortly after I gazed at the mirror and spun around while Lucy was looking at me. "You look amazing in it Erza." She awed and I laughed softly. "Thanks, I want to know who bought it." I said and she shrugged. " I don't know, I've found it laying here when walking to my room." She replied and I smiled. I know who would buy me a dress like this. 

I quickly walked to my dresser and took out a pair of heels. I'm always wearing heels when wearing a dress. But I'm never wearing them when wearing casual clothes, my mother on the other hand only wears heels, she has a pair of flat shoes in her car, but other than that only heels. I found the ones I wanted and got back sitting on the bed and slipped into them.

I finished to attach the hose around my heel and looked back up to Lucy. "So spill it." I asked and Lucy was giving me a confused look before turning away she was silent for a moment and giggled happily. 

She turned to me with a radiant smile, her lips kept that smile while she said the words. "Natsu asked me out yesterday."

"I knew it Lucy." I squeaked happily and hugged her tight while smiling widely. "I'm so happy for you, I truly am." 

"So am I." She squealed happily and I sat back onto the bed. She wanted to apply makeup but I rarely wear it because of my natural taint being rather pale already, I just wanted some mascara and I let her apply it.

"He was so sweet when he told me it Erza, he apologized for it even tough he had done nothing wrong and just didn't let me explain myself. And then he told me he loves me and still does, we didn't have a talk about our intimate relationship for the past months and last night all we did was talk and watch a film till we fell asleep just like old times but it felt so much better laying in the arms of the person you love and he loves you back equally." She said so happy that she almost started to day dream. I opened my eyes to see her gleaming smile and I had to smile as well. "That reminds me." She said and gave me a stern yet curious look. "How is it going between you and Y/n?" She asked and I let out a small huff. "What do you mean between me and him." I asked embarrassed and she giggled as she saw my blushing cheeks. "Geez if you are blushing that hard about this question then I'm not asking about your first kiss with him which looked pretty heated." She pointed out and I blushed a tint darker again. 

"Back to you with Natsu, Lucy." I said and she nodded. "He told me we can go at my pace and you know how I am with that so yes it's going wonderful." She replied and I let out a sigh. 

"You wish Jellal would ask you out?" She asked and I nodded. "I knew it you are in love with that guy right." She said and I could only smile at her. "I am." I mumbled blushing furiously as I admitted it.

She stepped back and observed me from head to toe. Was I looking good. I bit my lip nervously. "Am I looking bad." I asked and my mind was filled with insecurity, I didn't want to look bad in front of my crush. My self consciousness was slowly leaving.

"What are you saying Erza, you look gorgeous, there is no way he would be ignoring you with this or even dare to say a word by being mesmerized by your beauty alone." She said and then tapped with her finger on her chin.

"But?" She said and raised and eyebrow fixing my collar with her eyes. "Don't you think something is missing?" She asked and I looked into the mirror.  

"Something is missing?" I crocked an eyebrow unsure and Lucy nodded with a grin shoving something into my hands. It was a small black box and looked like those which have an engagement ring in them. She motioned for me to open it.

I opened it expecting a normal ring but my eyes opened in awe as I was met with a ruby necklace. It was simple yet looked amazing at the same time. 

"Lucy, I can't accept this it must have cost a fortune." I replied and she let out a small laugh before crossing her arms and giving me a light glare. "It's not mine. She shrugged. "The one who bought it wont take a no."

My heart skipped a beat as I thought of who could have bought it. I lifted my gaze to hers and my lips tugged a smile slowly. "Jellal?" I let out his name in a breath feeling strange in my tummy, it must have been butterflies that I was feeling.

"For a tsundere he does have a good taste huh?" She grinned and raised her eyebrows looking teasingly at me. I couldn't stop the smile spreading on my lips as I looked at my gift. "It's... beautiful..." I whispered and took it into my hand by the chain. It looked simple, the red gem stone was the eye catcher followed by the smaller diamonds above it.  "This seems costly Lucy, this stone." I said and trailed it down without taking my eyes of it. 

"It's called Scarlet passion. This ruby is an extremely rare stone as it's supposed to be the only one who has a deep scarlet red color. It's also known as the stone of love because of its deep radiant red its often associated with who wares it is a dangerous person to not be played with too easy." I let out a shaky breath lifting my eyes to her face and held the stone in my hand. 

"Jellal gave me that saying it will match your dress and I have to say it does, didn't know where he found it though." She said looking at it again. "I've never seen it in any of the jewelry shops here." She added thoughtful glancing at me again.

"But he was right, it'll definitely look good on you, matches your eyes quite a bit." She finished with a soft smile. I stared at her again with my mouth slightly open in surprise before looking at the chain again. He got me this because we two are so close together, or was it another reason, why didn't he give me it by himself. "I also know that in the past these necklaces were given to someone who you loved dearly and wholeheartedly." Lucy added and took out her phone. "It has a nickname the stone of lovers." She added smiling at me.

"Lucy, Erza aren't you girls ready yet." Juvia asked and finished just as she stepped into the door of my room. When she saw me she smiled at me and came to hug me. "You look beautiful Erza."

"Thank you Juvia you look stunning too with your blue dress and thanks for the dress I love it." I said sincerely and she smiled. "How did you know I was the one who chose it, I didn't buy it." She replied looking at me. "Who bought it then." I asked and she gave me a teasing grin. "It was Jellal, he went to buy you a gift and I dragged him with me since Lucy and I know you the most and we wanted a dress for you but he didn't see it yet he only bought it." Juvia replied and waved it off. "Now let's get down before the others decide to celebrate without you guys." Juvia pressed and grabbed mine and Lucy's hand.

The three of us headed downstairs. "Yooo, there she is the queen of the party." Cana shouted as she saw us three walk down the stairs, she already seemed drunk enough for today already. 

"Titania do you want to destroy my heart with this dress." Loke said as he fell to his knees holding his typical smirk on his lips and I just laughed softly while he presented me a flower bouquet. "Thank you Loke for the flowers they smell lovely but you can't get me." I replied glaring slightly at him and he laughed as well. "I know that's why I like flirting with you." He replied and I rolled my eyes. "Better stop it before I give you a broken nose again." I added and he shuddered from the memory of me giving him a spin kick to the face.

I turned my head to see around the room to find him, the one I wanted to see but he wasn't here, he was here before I walked up with Lucy. I let out a small frown.

Soon after my friends dragged my outside, to start the party. I let them pull me outside to the garden which was decorated nicely. "Erza finally you are here." A to me very familiar voice said and I turned to see my mother bring my birthday cake which was double stacked, along with Mira to the patio and place it on the table. The cake had to be strawberry. There were candles all around it and in the middle on top my name. I smiled and laughed in amazement at how beautiful the cake was decorated. I glanced up at both Mira and my mom who smiled at me. "Your mother helped me to bake the cake, I didn't know she was this good at it, at first I wanted to make a single lair but she insisted on a double one because she knew how fast the cake would be gone." Mira teased and I could only smile. "It looks perfect." I said and she waved it off. 

My gaze trailed to my mom who happily smiled. "Happy Birthday Erza." She said and hugged me. I muttered a thank you to her as I knew she planned the cake, she loved to bake strawberry cakes for me. I noticed her black sleek dress and black heels. I rolled my eyes a little but at least she wasn't in the center of the attention with her dress.

I felt a presence behind me and the person placed a hand on my shoulder. "Come on let's cut the cake Scarlet." I looked back and smiled happily. My breath stopped the instant I saw this smile, this damned smile, it caused me to feel hot and my chest thumped. I had my hand around my necklace and his eyes trailed down on me. "Was he checking me out." I thought and my cheeks turned pink.

I noticed that he wore a tuxedo right now and it looked damn good on him. I got closer to him and he hugged me gently to him. He grabbed my hand and brought me to the table behind the cake. 

All my friends gathered around the table as I stood in the center behind the cake with Jellal and Gray on each side next to me. On the other side of the table was Levy who made the picture only for then to be quickly lectured by my mother and her shoving Levy into Gajeel's arms saying that she had to be in the group picture as well. I blew the candles and cut the cake after my mother had taken her pictures and laughed before they began to sing the happy birthday song for me. 

I had a big smile plastered on my face the whole time that it started to hurt and my eyes gotten moist from happiness. "You are such a crybaby." Jellal muttered softly and I turned to face him and he poked my forehead making me frown lightly. "You shouldn't cry on your birthday, you know it's a shame to do."

"I'm just so happy." I cried. "I've never been this happier before on my birthday, I mean you are here Y/n." I said and he rolled his eyes muttering how cheesy that sounded. I wiped my tears carefully to not ruin my make up while I turned to look at my family and friends. "Thank you I love you so much guys."

"Awww Erza sweetheart we all love you too." Mira said smiling at me warmly.

"Just thank you guys, I really don't know what else to say, I'm speechless." I replied biting my lip and tried to keep my emotions under control.

"You are so quirky Erza, how could we not love you!?" Lucy asked and earned some chuckles.

"Alright lets booze for the scariest girl in all of Fairy Tail High aka Titania." Cana shouted loudly and she presented a 4.5 liter bottle of champagne in her arms.

"Wait don't open it like that!" I said and Cana gave me a confused look. "Why not." She asked and I pointed upwards. "Do you want to hit the lamp and if you open it then point it away from us. I don't want anyone being hit by a champagne plug the size of a softball." I said and Cana grimaced before understanding it. 

"I've got a better idea." My mothers voice sounded through the garden and she quickly threw a scabbard with a sword at our direction that Jellal caught with one hand. 

He quickly pulled it out and handed me the hilt. "You are the birthday girl here Erza so you are the one to open it." Jellal said and I took the sword slowly. He positioned himself so that the bottle was facing away from anything that could get damaged. I laid the sword on the bottle like I've seen it happen a few times on parties. 

The plug popped off with a loud but rather dull explosion. I squeaked lightly at the sound and the plug landed a few meters ahead off us. "I wonder how far that would have gone if we would just open it." Natsu asked and Cana then grinned suspiciously. "Why don't we try it." She exclaimed and pulled out another of those bottles. I got to read the name of it and my jaw lightly dropped. "These are rare how did you get them Gray." I asked as I assumed he got these bottles from somewhere. 

Gray rubbed his head. "It wasn't me who brought them here actually I just let Jellal decide what we should do for your birthday." He replied and then my mother grabbed the bottle. "It was my idea and Jellal's but the bottles are mine and the cake was made with Mira's help this morning here at Gray's home while you were at school." She exclaimed and then poured some of the liquid into a wine glass. "Erza get's to taste it first." She said and handed me the glass. 

I noticed Cana grumble that she couldn't taste it before me. "Fine I'm letting you drink first but the next is mine." She dramatically cried.

I laughed and took a sip, Jellal had a small smirk on his lips while he was looking at me drinking it. "How is it." He asked raising an eyebrow. "It's amazing." I replied smiling wide and he let out a small chuckle. I finished the whole glass and my mother just rolled her eyes muttering how we don't enjoy the taste and just drink it down like water instead of savoring every drop of it, which made my friends and me included laugh a little. 

"Aren't you drinking miss Belserion." Laxus asked and she shook her head. "There should be at least one responsible adult left who's not drunk and I have to drive home later." She replied and Laxus nodded understanding it. "But I can still try it." She replied and Cana grinned while pouring down the liquid in the glasses. "To Erza Belserion and her 19th birthday." My friends cheered leaving me blushing slightly while I looked at them taking it down and I saw my mother do it as well. "It wasn't as bad as I thought, Cana challenged me." She replied and I gave Cana a glare and she shrugged while I let out a small laugh. 

Jellal chuckled softly making me glance at him, he really has a beautiful smile. When his eyes caught mine he didn't turn away, our eyes locked together and I thanked him for this. He slightly nudged me to him. My hand around the chain tightened as I felt my heartbeat quicken. His stare, it's in moments like these that make me forget everything around me, but him, Only him.

I was lost and stared at his lips, I didn't notice his hand that was slowly going up touching my hand that was around the chain. "It will look beautiful on you." He whispered and my breathing stopped. I let go of it and he saw it freely. I felt a sudden coldness on my cheek as his hand touched it and right after he kissed me nibbling at my lip and I was frozen. I closed my eyes enjoying this as I felt a sudden warmth in me. I caressed his lip with my tongue and he opened his mouth letting me be the dominant one for a second only. 

I felt a sudden coldness on my cheek as Y/n spread a piece of cake on it making me gasp and open one of my eyes to look at him. "Jellal." I said and grabbed his hand. I smirked grabbing a piece myself and hit him right on the cheek. "Got you." I laughed.

He grinned playfully at me and I was pushed into him, right in time Levy and my mom clicked a picture. "We will hang this on the main wall of the Living room." He teased enjoying my embarrassed squeak while grinning smugly.

"No way you are going to delete it, right now." I yelled pointing at her and Levy stuck her tongue out and shook hear head. "No way, this is my best shot." She replied and my mother even laughed high fiving with her saying good job Levy.

I was left with my mouth slightly agape. "I thought you would take my side mom." I puffed my cheeks and she laughed amused. "I can't if you look so happy in this shot just look at it." She said and showed me it on her phone as it was connected with the camera. I saw my happy radiant smile as Jellal and I had both cake on our cheeks. I wiped it off and licked it. "Fine keep it." I murmured and she smiled happily. "This will go above my fireplace." She added and I cursed lightly.

"Erza come here." My mother said and I walked to her obeying it. She handed me a small towel and she wiped the rest off quickly before grabbing something behind her. It was a box and I opened it. "Keys." I cocked and eyebrow she grinned at me. "Two rules." She said sternly yet smiling at me. "No driving around in the pitch black dark." My eyes widened in realization soon replaced with excitement after I knew what she meant.  "And no speeding." She added raising the secons of her fingers, grinning at my excitement.

"You call that driving." Y/n mocked and my mother gave him a short glare. "I'd rather have her learn to drive properly before she goes to drive as insane as you." She replied coldly and Jellal muttered that he would never drive in a way that could harm me. "Thanks mom." I mumbled and crushed her into a tight hug before rushing to the garage, keys in hand.

I quickly entered the password and the door clicked open I jumped inside and looked left and right. I knew these weren't car key's so what did she buy me. And there it was in the middle of the garage covered under a black blanket something that looked like a motorbike. It was right next to Gray's and Natsu's bike.

I knew it was this one covered under it I almost pounced around like a little girl from excitement. The others came in and Y/n placed himself right behind me. "I'll take it off." He said grinning at me and walked to it grabbing the black fabric. 

My mother stood behind me with a few packed boxes in my friends hands. "So what do you think Erza." She asked and I looked at her with an open mouth. "I don't know." I replied unable to give a proper answer.

I closed my eyes as Jellal said to do so. I was fidgeting on my feet and had a big smile on my face. "You can open them now." My mother said and my eyes widened in amazement as I saw it. It was the most amazing looking bike for me that I've seen. It was a BMW S1000 RR and it had a special red and black livery that read Titania on it's side of the cover. On top of it on the tank was the Fairy Tail symbol of our school and we all had a key chain of said symbol. 

A/n: Erza's bike

I sat up on the bike and inserted the key, I didn't start it, I only wanted to see at the lights of it when its turned on. I lit up in a red color and I was amazed by the lightshow. "You are not going to drive it right now." My mothers voice echoed through the garage and I pouted lightly. "Why?" I asked slightly offended and she had a small smirk on her lips.

"Do you perhaps intent to show every person you pass your pink underwear." She asked in a slightly mocking tone and my cheeks started to flush. "O-of course not." I sheepishly replied and turned it off stepping away from it into Jellal's hold.

She placed a box into my arms and just smiled at me. I opened it and it was a race suit, my eyes began to slightly water. "Wow, thank you mom." I said amazed and she waved it off and pushed the rest of the boxes into my arms, Gloves, shoes and my own helmet. "I placed them down and went in for a hug on her again. "Who brought it here." I asked and she looked over at Jellal. I smiled at him and then remembered that I heard a bike come into the garage. "So you brought my gift." I smiled at him happily. "I'll learn you later how to confidently drive a bike." He muttered and I gave him a thumbs up.

"Come on guys I'm starving." Natsu whined and Lucy shushed him. "We'll eat soon." She replied and he smiled.

Y/n my mother and I posed for the picture Levy wanted to make of my bike with me sitting on it. We let her do it quickly.

"Say Cheese." Levy smiled with the camera in front. "Just take one already." My mother said slightly tired. Jellal rolled his eyes with an amused smirk, his hand was resting on my waist. I glanced at both of them before turning back to the camera smiling happily.

After that I hugged my new bike and gave it a kiss on the front under Y/n's amused face. "What you kissed your bike too right." I stated.

He stifled a laugh. "I said nothing." He raised his hands up defensively. I gave him a grim look while scanning his face. "Yeah you better not mock me." I mumbled and he rolled his eyes heading out and looked at my bike one last time. 

"Do you want to set up a sleeping bag, with how you are looking at it I think you want to." He replied and I gave him a blank stare. 

"It wont disappear you know." He muttered without looking at me and I caught him quickly in a few steps and without caring took him into a hug. "I'd like to drive it." I mumbled.

His hand brushed over my cheek gently as he laughed softly. "You will drive tomorrow, Erza." I grinned happily. "Yeah I'm going to learn to drive it like you." I cheered and he laughed again muttering how silly I am at times. He was making his way back.

I remembered the chain in my hand and the talk with Lucy. I tugged on his arm stopping him quickly in his tracks. When he glanced at me curiously waiting for a question. I opened my palm to him showing the Ruby necklace. I gazed at him nervously biting my lip, I asked the first thing that came to my mind. "Why didn't you give this to me by yourself." 

He averted his eyes for a moment shrugging and I was staring at him patiently waiting for his answer. I kept looking at him but I knew he rather would stay silent. "I don't know, I just didn't know if I should give it or Lucy." I continued to stare at him thinking what I could say next.

"Lucy said it's the stone of love." I paused for a second quickly thinking. "Why did you buy me this?"

He stood silent for a moment his eyes scanning me before holding his hand out. I looked at his extended hand before wordlessly placing the chain in his palm. He quickly got behind me with two steps and pulled me gently towards him, my back hitting his front and I let out a slight surprised gasp as I felt the chain or his cold fingers sent shivers down my spine as he adjusted the chain around my neck and closed the lock. I looked down seeing the pendant resting above my cleavage as words flowed out of his mouth slowly. 

"It was the color of your hair. You shine like the sun always getting up after going down, you never give up. 
I want you to shine like that.
Forever."
