Y/n Pov

I walked along the familiar entry hall, medical staff was walking around it as I made my way towards the reception. "Hello what can I do for you sir" The nurse asked and looked at me. "I want to see Ur Milkovich." I said curtly.

"I'm sorry but there is a person in already I can't let you go." She said shaking her head but still had a friendly smile.

"I know I was just saying where I'm going" I said and turned towards the corridor that Ur's room was in. "Gray you idiot if you would have listened to Ur than she would have stayed unharmed." I thought and clenched my fist "But no you had to try and go out of your hiding spot trying to be all tough." I thought and gritted my teeth.

There were so many questions in my mind right now but I couldn't answer them while I walked towards Ur's room. I reached the room that she's in but Gray stood outside frozen his hand wasn't even at the door knob more like he's zoned out debating if he should enter or not. I grabbed his arm and pressed it quite firm getting his attention. "What you waiting for Gray, she's literally your mother go in and hug her" I said to him my lips pressed in a firm line. I was pissed that he isn't inside there.

He shot me a death glare he could have fooled everyone except his close friends and me. "I don't know why I can't, I want to open it but my body isn't able to" He said silently.

"Gray stop running from your past" I said firmly and placed a hand on his shoulder pressing it lightly.

"Gray you know what our friends are, right? They are our family" I said with a low voice.

"We all lost a person in our life, parents, siblings friends." I added with a bitter look.

"But what I want to say is that there is nothing worse to lose than something you can get by simply opening a door" I said with a bitter smile.

"Gray you are my Cousin but I care for you like a brother we are a family our whole friends are our family" I added and he looked at me.

"I know Jellal I'd do everything for our friends just like you do for me." He replied with a small smile.

"I know Gray. I know" I said and pat his shoulder. "Ur always looked at you like her own real son" I said with a smile.

"Yes she behaved like a mother for me even lived with my father under one roof to make it seem even more realistic" He said and chuckled at the memory.

"You remember the time that Lyon and you got in trouble for freezing the entire pool just because you wanted to skate on ice" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah how could I forget it, all our friends were there even you and Erza" He replied and tried to stifle a laugh.

"Yes and Natsu jumped on it hitting his butt on the ice" I replied making him chuckle a little.

"Go in and hug her Gray, she's your mother" I said and let go pushing him to the door.

"I know thanks for cheering me up" He said with a small smile.

I knew how hard this is for Gray. He took a deep breath and opened the door I saw Ur sit on a couch and look out the window. Her skin color was pale her muscles got less. "Gray" She said a little weak.

I could see that something cracked inside of his body as Ur smiled at him she didn't hate him how could she. He was just a child back then. "How are you Gray" She asked as he walked right up to her. Gray sat down Ur opened her arms and Gray cried a little as she hugged him. In the inside he was still the child from back then now that Ur is awake he can grow and move on.

I adverted my eyes from their room but not without Ur noticing me "It's good to see you as well Jellal" She said with a smile. I nod and smiled back sincerely.

I adverted my eyes from them and closed the door. I headed down the familiar corridor that I walked down a few times to another room. "Room 209" I mentally said and my hand already rose towards the door knob but I hesitated.

I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder "Are you Jellal Y/n Fernandes Fullbuster" A doctor asked with a serious look on him.

"Yes I am Jellal." I replied to him a little cold.

"The person in that room you know who it is right" He asked with a voice that made me worry.

"Of course I know who's in there" I replied a litte snarky.

"I will leave you alone then" He said and walked off. I gazed again at the door. "Why couldn't I just grab him and pull him to the side. I heard the car already drive close to us from our direction" I thought and gritted my teeth. I turned around towards the wall and hit it so hard that my knuckles hurt. I flinched from the pain but shock it off.

I looked at my hands, where in my mind the blood of countless criminals was on them as I killed them for the ISF, for vengeance for my little bother. Every guy I killed got me closer to José Porla, the criminal Mafia lord of Fiore and politician.

The day that I had his throat in my hands was a day that I thought my years of torment ended since I reached my goal but I was dead wrong, it just had begun. His words echoed in me almost daily. "What will my death do another one will just take my place. Do you think this brings back your brother" He said before I threw him from the second floor of his villa down the mountain were I could still remember the sound he made from crashing onto the car he drove my brother over.

To work for Silver and the ISF was worse then seeing my brother getting driven over. I didn't enjoy it but I wanted to atone for my sin of not saving him. Every criminal that died was one less that could bring harm to Fiore.

I Inhaled deeply. I had my hands pressed on my face as I tried to hold back the tears of guilt and pain. I heard footsteps and voices come closer when I suddenly felt a tight hug on me. I shot my eyes open to see a wave of scarlet hair close to my chest. The face buried in my chest. "Erza" I gasped as I felt her arms tighten more around me.

"I know what you went through Jellal. Don't worry it wont change my view about you." She said muffled by my chest, with a voice so sincere, warm and upright honest that I felt a crack in my heart. The only way that I could do all this without getting insane was because of Wendy, Erza and my parents. I had to stay strong for my little sister and them.

I lifted my arms and hugged her back. "Thank you Erza" I said and laid my face into the crook of her neck silently weeping into it as I could fell her hand caress my back. "You're the reason that I can look forward" I said barely audible but I could feel that she heard it by the slight stop in her breathing.

Erza is the only one that can save me from the endless pit of self hatred and insanity, by just being there and smiling at me. Her bright light is the reason for why I'm still alive because I can't make her cry by killing myself.

She pulled away from the embrace looking into my eyes while her hands were gently cupping my face. Her thumbs wiped away the rest of my tears. "Atone for your sins by living for the ones you care and love, that shall be your punishment" She said with a voice so sweet and a smile so heartfelt that I couldn't stop but gaze into her eyes and nod. "Yes that will be my punishment" I replied to her silently.

She pulled me into a light kiss, a sweet one as I tasted her strawberry lipgloss. She pulled back with a slight pink hue on her cheeks. "Go and face the past that is behind that door" She said and turned towards it.

I heard more voices from the corridor, I looked to my right to see Ul and Natsu. I gave her a glare but she just smirked at me.

Natsu gave me that "You ok Look" but I denied. I was trembling and sweating since I stood here. I was a nervous wreck. I don't even know how I got here through all that traffic without causing an incident.

Ul knew how much he means to me she didn't talk but her expression was enough for me.

"You can do this man" Natsu said with a toothy grin. holding his hand to fist bump me which I returned.

Erza gave me a warm smile and hugged me gently Natsu joined in as well. It might look strange but they are like a family for me. "I don't have to fear the past with them on my side." I thought and smiled.

I saw Erza to my left waiting for my action. I took a deep steady breath and moved my hand to the door knob. "Come on you waited the last few years for this, always picturing how it will look like" I tried to encourage myself.

The light of the room was blinding me. I heard no beeping like the last time that I entered it my gaze was on the bed that was empty it looked like someone just left it a minute ago. I looked to my right as I saw a figure look out the window. "It's beautiful outside." The voice said and turned around sitting on a couch.

"Simon" I silently said and clenched my fist to not freak out and jump at him to hug him. "It has been a while Y/n" He said with a smile.

I walked to him and hugged him tightly "I'm sorry that I couldn't save you back then." I said and held back tears out of joy but they still came.

"Don't make such a big thing out of it. For me it's like I just slept and woke up." He replied and looked at me.

"Don't say something like that Simon, you are my little brother I will never be able to forgive miself for it." I replied and he just rolled his eyes.

"So how much did I miss in the four years that I wasn't with you brother." He asked curious.

"Not much honestly I'm in Fairy Tail Academy now. You still remember Wendy right?" I asked and smiled.

"Sure my older sister" He smiled and nod.

"She's 12 now and you are 11 so I'm sure that you will get along" I replied with a chuckle.

"When did you wake up" I asked serious and looked at him.

"In the morning the nurses were kind enough to tell me what year it is, 4 years that's quite a bit of time." He sighed.

"It was enough for me to do what I had to do" I replied with a bitter smile.

"What did you do?" He asked and raised an eyebrow.

"I took care of the person that did this to you" I replied curtly.

"He killed José Porla" I heard Erza say behind me as she walked into the room.

I looked a little shocked at her "Erza I wanted to keep it a surprise for later" I said and pouted lightly. I heard her snicker.

"I'm sorry but I got a little impatient." She replied with a honest smile.

"Is this the girl I saw you play doctor with a few years ago?" Simon asked in wonder.

I looked over at Erza and she had a slight blush on her and looked quite embarrassed just like me at his question. He is still a kid and doesn't know that adults understand something else about it.

Erza got her composure back and nod with a smile. "Yes, I'm Erza it's nice to meet you Simon" she said with a warm smile on her lips.

I felt him punch me on the shoulder. "Hey what was that for" I asked a little confused.

"For not pulling me away when he hit me" He scoffed and smirked.

"It's good that you didn't forget your behavior over the years" I said and ruffled his hair.

"Are mom and dad coming here?" He asked looking out the door.

"I don't know, how about you ask them" I said and pulled out my phone. "You still know how to use it right" I added with a smirk.

"Of course" He replied and snatched the phone of my hand. I heard it beep but I also heard my dads ringtone start.

Both our parents appeared at the door. "We didn't want to ruin your little moment" Dad said with a happy smile.

"I knew you cared for him Y/n even to you said that you didn't care, it was probably just a way to deal with his disappearance." Our mom said and teared up. "Simon my little boy" She added walking to him.

I noticed Wendy now look in the room. "Hey Wendy it's me Simon" my brother said with a smile.

"Simon it's really you" She said and smiled. She ran at him hugging him tightly.

"Whoa calm down Wendy I don't want to go into another coma from a sudden hit" He replied and hugged back.

We all hugged each other. I noticed Erza look away but I smirked and grabbed her wrist pulling her in she looked a little confused. I gave her a soft kiss and my brother and Wendy grimaced, while my parents chuckled lightly.

We parted from the group hug my mom and dad now sat next to him. "So how long do you have to stay here" Dad asked in concern.

"The nurse said that I can leave by tomorrow they just want to be sure." He replied happily.

"I will leave now. Simon I will boot up a game for you. You wont believe how far the graphics got in four years" I said with a smile.

"Yeah I hope too, gotta wonder what game you chose" He replied with a smile.

"Find it out at home." I replied and walked to the door. I turned my gaze to the outside. Ul wasn't here only Natsu is standing outside. I walked to him and he pat my shoulder. "Seems like you got your bro back just like I did." He said with a sincere smile.

I smiled at him "Yes I can't express how happy I am" I replied. As much as Natsu is an idiot he cares for his friends and knows when to be serious and when to goof around.

"I know how it feels" He replied and punched my shoulder. "That was for throwing some dirt at my car when you left in a hurry" He scoffed and chuckled.

"Yeah sorry I hope that it's not scratched" I replied and hit him back.

"Jellal, Natsu let's go back home I'm sure that Gray is done already" Erza said with a gentle smile.
