Y/n Pov

After Yesterday at the Christmas market I was pretty happy. With Erza and me now being more than bestfriends. I heard the doorbell ring and I stood up. I didn't know who would want something from Gray or any of us.

I opened the door and my eyes widened in shock when I saw a person in front of me that I never would have expected to see here.

"Ultear why are you here" I said in shock as I looked at the woman that was Ur's daughter.

"I heard from Gray that you are here" She retorted with a smile as she gazed at me.

I hugged her as I didn't see her for a while Ur was a good friend that helped me with a lot of stuff in Crocus. "What brings you here" I asked her in confusion as I was still hugging her.

"I was nearby I want to visit my mother I had time to spend and decided to visit Gray as well." She said with a happy smile.

"Do you want to come inside to talk with Gray" I asked and pointed to the couch.

"Yes but I have to get someone first" She said and headed back to her car.

I saw a little girl in Ur's car as she held her hand walking here towards me. "This is Meredy" She said and Showed me a little girl with pink hair that held a plushy.

"Hey Meredy I'm Jellal Y/n." I said to the little girl that seemed not older than five years. The girl looked at me and was a little shy. "Dad" It said and startled me immediately making me get a heart attack for calling me her dad.

"No Meredy you shouldn't call every man that is close to me your dad." Ultear said and scolded her daughter.

We sat on the couch now Ultear had Meredy in her arm on the couch. The others should be here soon Erza was upstairs doing something. I could hear her walk towards the stairs. "Jellal who is this woman" I heard Erza's voice that sounded a little threatening to me as she sat next to me, clearly showing to her that I'm taken.

"Erza don't worry there is nothing between me and her, this is Ultear and this is Meredy her daughter." I said and presented them to Erza.

"I'm happy to meet more of Gray's friends" Ultear said and clearly made Erza know that she isn't interested in me.

"Ultear I didn't know that you had a child all these past years" I said as I gazed at the lightly sleepy girl in her arm.

Ultear began to get a little embarrassed as she pat her daughters head. "Well you see you never were at my home and when we met for the stuff you needed we met outside most of the time in the park or near your school." Ultear retorted while rubbing her head.

"What do you work as since you can care for a girl" Erza asked in wonder.

Ultear thought for a little as she sighed "I'm Working for the ISF" She said with a grin.

"No way you work for Gray's father." Erza said clearly shocked.

Ultear nod and sighed right after. "Well I have to thank my mother for it she was the one that made me able to work for him" She said with a soft smile.

"Did you visit her already" I asked Raising an eyebrow.

"No" She replied instantly shaking her head.

"Then why are you here shouldn't you be going to her" I retorted while I pointed to the door.

"I have come because of her." She said meaning her mother by her. Her expression turned serious. "Ur is awake." She added making me flinch.

"What no how did she" I said but my voice stopped. I heard Gray go past me and he slammed the door behind him leaving Juvia all in confusion at the stairs.

"Go and see it for yourself." She said, I gazed over at Erza and she nod letting me go. I stood up and headed to the door. I opened it and Saw Gray leave with his motorbike.

Erza Pov

I looked at the door that closed as Jellal left Gray's home. My heart clenched a little when I heard the door close completely.

I knew nothing of the past six years that he wasn't with me but how he could stay the same all those years was still a mystery to me.

In front of me was the only person that knew the six years from him that I didn't know of. She turned to leave but I grabbed her wrist, I thought what I could ask her and bit my lip nervously. "Wait Ultear" I said as I looked at her face that had one eyebrow raised in wonder.

"Jellal and I are really close, over six years ago we were best friends. But I know nothing from the six years that he wasn't here" I said as she sat back down looking at me.

Her eyes looked at mine comfortingly. "I know why he didn't tell you it because the six years that he was in Crocus are something he'd rather forget then to tell you it" She said and looked a little sad.

My heart began to hurt a little because we trusted each other everything. And he didn't tell me his secret. "I wanna know it even if it hurts he knows mine already" I said and grabbed her hand.

"Promise me that whatever I tell you you'll keep for yourself and you wont think of him any different then you do now." She said with a serious tone.

"I promise" I said and sat in anticipation to what she'll tell me.

"Do you know the school that Jellal went to in Crocus" She asked slightly worried.

"No I know nothing of him" I said and clenched my hand from getting impatient.

"The school he went to was a military academy he was there for the entirety of six years being trained, tortured, beaten and they made experiments on him." She said and her voice began to shake.

"What but why" I said and held my hand in front of my mouth from the shock. I didn't know that he had something like this done to him.

"In fact there are countless like him that were used for experiments." She added before she stopped.

"Can you tell me what kind of experiments" I asked in shock.

"Muscle enhancing experiments" She retorted.

"But his body seems rather normal for something like that" I replied a little uneasy.

"That's because the experiments made their muscle grow more compact and harder. His strength is something that only Laxus is comparable to." She answered with a serious tone.

"Why would they do something like that" I asked with worry.

"To make an army of super soldiers but the war they were made for never came. You should know from it too Erza Scarlet" She said shocking me.

"How do you know my special name that Y/n gave me" I asked in shock.

"He told me a lot about you after he got his memory back, he called me and said that he found you. You were the reason why he was able to pull through all that pain and sorrow." She replied smiling at me.

"I was the reason why he was able to survive that" I said clearly shaken.

"Every time that he was with me he repeated your name Erza it was the only thing that he remembered from his past until now of course now he has it back. He has you back." She replied with an honest voice.

"Tell me have you seen how strong he is?" She asked raising an eyebrow."

Her question left me speechless. How am I supposed to see how strong he is when I have never seen him use any weights besides that one time. One moment shot in my head as I remembered that I woke up on another place while hunting. My weight is just below sixty kg and with my backpack I had around 80 in total. He is a little below 1.80 m so he should be around 80 kg his backpack was twice the size of mine. So in total he had a hundred kilos on him. Whoa that's strong to walk around like that.

"Yes I just remembered it he carried me and his stuff around that weight more then 100 kilos in total." I said with a slight smile.

"That's nothing he can lift up someone like Laxus with one hand easily" She added making my jaw drop.

"But he isn't the only one that is so strong you are as well Erza you were one of those subjects as well. You were in a military academy for a few years always going back and fourth. Just like your mother that was at the same academy." She added making me get worried.

"How do you know all this" I said in shock.

"I work for the ISF I have quite a bit of knowledge about all your friends but don't worry nothing will leave my lips about that." She replied.

She was right I was in a military academy for two years after the incident with my eye they gave me injections saying that they would heal my eye but all they did was make me stronger it wasn't something unwanted but at the time I wanted my eye back and now I have it working again, both eyes. I cried a little at the painful memory of being strapped at a table and all these injections into my muscles to get them stronger that's why I can lift both Natsu and Gray at the same time with one hand each.

"Now I'll tell you the thing that will shock you the most" She said taking a long pause collecting her thoughts. "Jellal, he killed people" She said and looked down leaving me in a state of shock. How could he do something like that he was so gentle and always helped everyone the only time I saw him use force was when the other kid attacked me.

"Why did he do that?" I asked with a pale face that was filled with shock as I couldn't understand it, my hands began to tremble as well, I grabbed the hem of my skirt.

"He had to, he did this as some sort of job for the ISF" She said and grabbed my hand trying to comfort me as I was visibly shocked.

"The people he killed were high target criminals from drug lords to killers he took them all out you could say he is a Hitman or an Assassin hired by the state for doing this in secret" She added making my brain lose any normal way of thinking.

"But why would he do something like that" I yelled in utter disbelieve and tried to hold back the tears.

"To keep it simple, revenge" She replied leaving me with a puzzled face.

"Why would he want revenge on someone." I asked as I was able to get my body under control.

"His brother was run over in a high speed drug chase by a drug lord, four years ago when he was just in the academy for the school but due to that he ended up working for the ISF" She replied.

"Was he able to kill the man and who was it." I asked a little nervous.

"Yes he did kill him. And it was José Porla" Ul retorted making my jaw drop in shock again.

José Porla was the man that raised Juvia and Gajeel for a while until they were taken away and adopted by another family. I never knew this story the only thing Juvia said was that he had a skeleton in his closet. But I didn't know that it was a pile of Skeletons. When Juvia came first to us she was a girl that was very shy but when she learned the love of a real family she sparkled like a diamond.

"Jellal is looking for atonement but he doesn't know how. He thought that he would atone his sin of not saving his brother by killing the criminal that drove him over." She said silently while my entire body was trembling.

"He even thought of killing himself to atone his sins" She said and looked down again knowing how much of a sudden shock I had.

"No killing yourself to atone for your sins is wrong he should face his actions and live with them." I shot right out as she said it.

"I know where he is Erza go towards Ur's room head straight then left and you should be at room 209." She said and stood up.

"Where are you going" I asked in wonder.

"To see my mother and you should knock some sense into your Boyfriend" She said with a wink.
