Erza Pov

I felt the rays of the sun hit my face, I slowly rubbed my eyes. I noticed that I laid in my bed and sat up. That's when my leg decided to tell me how it feels. It hurt like hell I took off the blanket and saw how much it was bandaged, my entire upper leg was covered in it. "How long is the wound" I muttered wide eyed in shock and slowly trailed above the place where I felt the injury with my finger. I looked around and saw Lucy sit at my bed.

"Lucy why are you here" I asked in surprise as I looked at her. She smiled at me before her face turned sad.

"I'm here because Y/n asked me to or more like ordered me". She said with a rather monotonous voice.

"Where is he now" I asked with worry in my voice and looked towards the door.

"He's downstairs in the training room punching the punching bag for at least a few hours already since he treated your wound..." She said with a warm smile forming on her lips.

"But you should let him alone for now". She said looking to the ground.

"Why should I let him alone now? I want to thank him for helping me" I said furrowing my eyebrows in wonder.

"He is boiling with anger. Natsu tried to calm him down but he's sitting with a bloody nose in the living room" She said and I heard her laugh a bit sarcastically.

"I want to see him now" I said serious and crossed my arms.

"No Erza you shouldn't. Trust me I don't know how it will go, but I know enough about guys that he isn't gonna drop down to his knees and apologize for you getting hurt and declare his love to you." She said and laughed a bit.

"What are you talking even about. I just want to say thank you to him. Nothing more" I said and I tried to stand up but my injurie pulsed heavily making me flinch in pain. 

"Fine just a warning he's really angry I think he might even have broken the punching bag by now". She said and I could see that she was worried about him.

We walked down slowly as each step made my injury spark up and I let out small painful grunts. I looked around the living room and it was a mess, Natsu sat with a bloody nose on the couch and Gray was with his hands on his face. Laxus just sat there while Mira treated a bruise on Laxus face. Juvia was drinking coffee.

"What happened here" I said in shock and looked at everyone that sat here.

Gray took his hands of his face and eyed me a bit "To keep it short, Y/n" Gray said with a cold voice eyeing me.

I saw Juvia, Cana and Mira look at me with pity. I walked downstairs with Lucy's help and already could hear Y/n's strained breath from beating the shit out of the punching bag. Lucy stopped me for a moment and her eyes seemed scared. 

I walked around the corner and saw him stand there with his bare chest beating the bag sweat running down from his upper body.

Lucy pressed my shoulder lightly and leaned me against the wall since I couldn't stand on my own. She got Y/n's attention by simply standing in front of the bag and gripped his right fist looking at him with a stern eye.

"Y/n snap out of it, Erza is here and wants to say something" She said almost shouting at him.

He ignored her and simply moved her out of the way before he began to punch it again with even more force now.

Lucy stomped with her foot and glared at him she jumped in front of the punching bag and Y/n almost punched her right into the face she didn't even blink when his fist was just a cm away.

"Y/n stop it and look at Erza she wants to say something to you" She said pleading.

He looked at me and walked slowly towards me. His eyes seemed so cold and full of hate his expression was also the same.

"Y/n thank you for treating my injury" I said with a warm smile.

He gritted his teeth and punched the wall next to me with full force, I could see a dent in it. I looked in shock at him and was a bit startled.

"Tell me Erza why were you standing exactly were I stood when I saw you getting hit by that knife". He said harsh his voice was cold and his eyes pierced me. Lucy stood behind him and just looked at me with fear in her eyes.

"I did it to protect you like I would do with all my friends" I said and my voice got a bit lower.

"I don't need you to protect me" He said almost shouting with his lips pressed together and his voice was cold.

"Why are you shouting at me" I said snapping at him and poked his chest with force.

"What were you trying to do with that, pushing me out of the way and then just getting yourself stabbed" He said gritting his teeth and glared at me with an ice cold look.

"I did it because that is the only right thing to do. Protecting my friends is important" I shouted and stared back at him.

"How can getting yourself stabbed be right? Were you trying to make me notice you and get my attention" He mocked and yelled at me.

Lucy walked up to us and gripped Y/n's shoulder. "Stop this nonsense" She said glaring at him.

I was shocked at how cold he was towards me he's so carrying but when something bad happens he's always angry and hurts me by saying something like this. I kept staring at him I'm not gonna give in and I'm not gonna lose to him and let him win.

"Just stop doing something like that. Getting yourself hurt because of someone else is stupid and foolish I don't need your help at all". He coldly said and glared at me.

I looked at him and my hand balled up into a fist from anger. "I would have done it like everyone else of your friends" I yelled glaring at him.

His expression changed and I somehow could feel that he is about to say something that was gonna hurt me a lot. Please don't say whatever you are thinking.

"Your help was redundant and useless. You know why because I saw him already with the knife in his hand and you decided to want attention by getting yourself stabbed. I wont thank you for it" He said glaring at me with his ice cold eyes.

My heart shattered right now, I felt a pang in my heart his words hurt more than the pulsing wound I had, my entire body slowly began to crumble. I tried to stay strong. I looked him straight in the eyes to see who's gonna give up first. But Lucy decided to brake it by slapping him. He broke out of the eye lock and grabbed his shirt walking upstairs. I could hear him yell something at Natsu before the door slamed shut. The engine of his car roared up and left with screeching tires.

My body got weak and Lucy caught me. I looked at Lucy in shock and she just motioned to sit down. I felt my tears drop slowly and held my hand in front of my one working eye. Lucy hugged me lightly trying to comfort me as I let out silent whimpers my heart was shattered.

"What happened with him" I said in shock as I looked up to Lucy.

"He cares for you more than you think Erza" She said with a rather low voice and gave me a gentle smile.

"How can he care for me if he literally said that my help was useless" I said and my voice was shaking and I was almost braking out in tears.

"It's not your fault Erza it's that stubborn man type that literally every guy has when he loves a girl. That is what Laxus said to me he was kind enough to explain it when I asked him". Lucy said with a smile as she lightly pressed my shoulder to comfort me.

"If he loves me then why can't he tell it" I said and I felt a tear roll down.

"Maybe he's afraid or he doesn't know that he loves you and just shrugs it off" She said looking at me.

"Then why was he so cold right now to me he could just say that it wasn't ok and he should have taken a few deep breaths before talking." I said and felt Lucy caress my back.

"I told you that it was a bad idea he had to vent his anger and maybe if you would have waited for him to calm down then I'm sure you'd be embraced by him right now here and he'd kiss you" She said with a playful smile.

"I'm sure that, that wouldn't have happened" I said with a slight chuckle.

"Just give him time and he'll be ok" She said giving me a warm smile.

We walked up to the living room. I gazed at them and Natsu seemed even more ruffled up and everyone was staring at me again.

"What did you do to him Erza" Natsu asked completely shaken as I could see he had fear written all over him.

"Isn't it obvious she broke his brain" Gray scoffed and looked at me.

"How did I brake his brain" I said in confusion and crossed my arms in offense.

"You guys are way to complicated" Juvia sneered.

"No you girls are" Natsu said pointing back at Juvia.

"Tell me one girl that is complicated" Juvia said challenging Natsu.

"It's simple, Lucy" He said with grin.

"I'm not complicated!" Lucy yelled at him punching his arm.

"Oh please you are in the bathroom for hours and you always wear make up even when it's not necessary" Natsu said rolling his eyes in annoyance

"Gray Fullbuster" Juvia retorted with a smirk.

"Don't drag me into this" Gray said crossing his arms in annoyance.

"Y/n Fullbuster" I said with a smirk "He's a mystery, in one moment he's sweet and carrying and in the next he's an ice cold jerk" I said with a winning grin.

"Shit you won this" Natsu said huffing and  pouted in defeat.

"I told you guys are more complicated". Juvia said with a smug grin and drank her coffee.

"Why just because we don't want you to get hurt. Gajeel said shrugging.

"Huh?" Everyone said taken aback.

"You idiot" Natsu said glaring at Gajeel.

"So that's why you guys are always so protective over us" Cana said with a wide grin

"Now I want to know which one of you likes who of us" Mira said with a cheeky smile.

"We don't have any feelings to you. We just protect you because that's what a man and friend does". Laxus said with his arms crossed.

"Really than what was that passionate kiss you had with Mirajane at the party" I said and looked at both Mira and Laxus that blushed in embarrassment.

"That's right I saw you making out in the night after the party" I said with a grin.

"Seems like you guys are busted you aren't as cold as you make yourself look" Mira said with a giggle.

"Well so what" Gajeel said shrugging.

I looked at a blushing Levy that looked at Gajeel since I knew they had something going on for a while already.
