Scene starts from Preeran's room.

Preeta - Toh ek mamuli si red tshirt ke liye tumne ye.. ye sab kiya 🥲

Karan - I am sorry na.. lekin mujhe meri red tshirt mil gayi hai (shows her the tee) mein change karke aata hu.. tab tak tum ye sab kapde fold karke cupboard mein rakh do, please 😇

Preeta - Mein kyu fold karu? Tumne ye mess create kiya hai tum fold karke rakho 😑

Karan - Please preeta itna kardo aaj ke liye 🙁

He made a cute face while smirking in mind. Preeta sighs.

Preeta - Ok fine ☹️

Karan nods and went to washroom.

Preeta sat on bed and started folding his tshirts and shirts. He slightly opens the door to peep at her.

Karan (in mind) - Bohot maza aaya iska kaam badhva kar 🤪 mujhe bajarbattu bulati hai na ab fold karo saare kapde 😏

He came out of the washroom acting normal.

Karan - Chalo mein chalta hu bye

Preeta looks at him and nods without saying anything.

She was getting late to work but she didn't complained that to him.

He left with a big smile on his face. He collides with Rishabh in hallway.

Rishabh - Kya hua itna khush lag raha hai? 🤔

Karan - Preeta ko pareshaan karke aa raha hu maza aagaya 🤭

Rishabh - Kya kiya tune? 🤨

Karan told him the whole matter and Rishabh glares him.

Rishabh - Very bad Karan ☹️

Karan - What bad? ☹️

Rishabh - Preeta ko hospital jaane mein already late ho raha tha aur tune uska kaam badha diya, that's so wrong Karan, woh bichari teri baat taal nhi saki isliye tera kaam kar rahi hai, usko help karne ke bajaye tu idhar smile kar raha hai, maze le raha hai 🙄

He shook his head and walked away and Karan felt sad understanding his words.

Karan - Ha mujhe aisa nhi karna chahiye tha 🤔

He went to his room to find Preeta keeping the clothes inside the cupboard while talking on phone.

Preeta (on call) - Mein bass aa hi rahi hu, bass half an hour mein pohoch jaaungi

She cuts the call and blabbered to herself.

Preeta - Shit, meri wajah se saare patients ko thodi der aur wait karna padega 😟

She picks her bag along with coat and stethoscope and turned to find Karan standing.

Preeta - Tum gaye nhi? 😧

Karan - Mein tumhe drop karke chala jaunga 😅

Preeta - Nhi mein chali jaungi meri car se, thanks but no thanks

She gave him a tight lipped smile which made him feel more bad.

Karan - Mein tumhe drop karunga, no more discussions ab chalo 😌

He held his cricket kit on shoulder and Preeta followed him. They both gets seated inside the car and Karan starts driving towards hospital.

Karan - Preeta? 😧

She was checking time but hearing his voice she looks up.

Karan - I am sorry meine mera kaam tumpar daal diya aur uski wajah se tum late hogayi ho 😟

Preeta - It's okay Karan 😅

Karan smiles and after some minutes they reached hospital.

Karan - Bye.

Preeta - Bye.

She went out and he waits for her until she disappears inside the building. He sighs and went to academy.

Leap of 1 month

Their bond remained the same but due to work load both were busy in their work life.

Evening

Preeta drove from hospital to Luthra house with red eyes.

She sniffed and rubbed her face to look fine but a tear rolled down her eye. She wiped it and went inside the house carrying her usual smile.

Rakhi - Tu aa gayi puttar, tu fresh ho jaa aur aaram kar 😌

Preeta gave her a tight lipped smile and nods but Rakhi sensed that something was off about her.

Rakhi - Puttar, tu thik hai na? 😟

Preeta - Ha maa mein thik hu mujhe kya hoga? 🙂

Rakhi nods and Preeta goes to her room. She directly went to washroom throwing her bag away and cried her heart out.

Suddenly she felt helpless thinking of something. After sometime she goes downstairs and Karan enters the house.

Karan - Mom paani do please 🤪

Preeta saw him and took a glass of water and filled it. She forwards the glass towards him.

Karan looked up to see her.

Karan - Ohho aaj kareli paani de rahi hai, kuch milaya toh nhi hai na tumne ismein, I don't trust you kadwi kareli 🤭

He laughs at her but she didn't said anything and kept glass on table and went to kitchen.

Karan (in mind) - Aaj mood off hai kya bajarbatti ka? 🤨

He noticed that during dinner too she didn't said anything and talked about nothing.

Preeran room

Preeta was staring at moon and Karan came to his room looking for her.

He sees that she's standing in balcony staring at moon lost in her own world. He stand beside her and turned her to see her in tears.

Karan got panicked seeing her tears.

Karan - Kya hai babydoll tum ro kyu rahi ho? 😥

Preeta nods in no wiping her tears.

Preeta - Aankh mein kuch chala gaya tha mein ro nhi rahi 🥺

She looked down and answered. He lifts her chin up and says.

Karan - Please bolo kya hua hai aur dekho mujhe patah hai tum jhooth bol rahi ho ki aankh mein kachra gaya hai isliye batao ki sach kya hai preeta 😧

Preeta - Kuch nhi hua 🥺

Karan - Kisine kuch kaha tumse? (Preeta nods in no) Meine kuch kiya?

She again nods in no.

Karan - Hospital mein kuch hua?

Tears rolled down her eyes and she pulled him in a hug.

Their first hug 🥺✨

Preeta - Karan 😭

She finally bursts in tears which she was controlling for a long time.

Karan immediately hugs her and rubbed her back a little to console her.

Karan - Babydoll please bolo kya hua hai mujhe chinta ho rahi hai tumhari 🥺

Her cries were causing an unknown pain to his heart which he was unable to understand, right now he didn't even wanna think on that cause now his priority is to calm her down. ✨

He tried to break the hug but Preeta hugs him tightly as if telling him that she needs this hug more than anything rn. He understood and tightens his grip on her back. 🤧

His one hand was caressing her hairs.

Karan - Babydoll 🥺

He broke the hug to see her puffy eyes full of tears. She wipes them thinking how can she cry in front of him, maybe she was making it awkward for him and didn't wanted to share her problems and state of mind or concerns with him.

Preeta - I am sorry 🥺

She tried to leave but Karan held her arm, pulled her closer to him and wipes her tears with both hands.

Karan - Tell me babydoll, please tell me kya hua hai? 😟

His voice was laced with concern and worry. She thought for a while.

Karan - I am your husband.. you can tell me 😟 (Preeta looks up)

Preeta - Aaj hospital.. mein (hiccups) mein kaam kar rahi thi tab mujhe call aaya shrishti ka 🥺

Karan nods asking her to say further.

Preeta - Usne mujhe inform kiya ki papa ko h..heart attack aaya hai (Karan 😨) woh ambulance mein papa ko hospital laa rahe hai, maa bohot ro rahi thi aur shrishti bhi (sniffs) papa ko hospital mein admit kiya aaj dupher ko, doctor ne bola extreme stress ki wajah se unhe heart attack aaya hai (hiccups twice) 😭💔

Karan caresses her hairs with moist eyes.

Preeta - Unhe parso discharge denge aur kaha ki stress unke liye achha nhi hai warna.. warna chances hai dusra heart attack aane ke 😭

He pulled her into a hug and she buries her face in his chest hugging his waist. He kept his chin on her head. 🥺

Karan - Tumne mujhe pehle kyu nhi bataya 😟

Preeta - Papa ne mana kiya tha kisiko ye baat batane se, unhone kaha ki khamakha sab pareshaan ho jaayenge 😢

Karan - Babydoll now stop crying (breaks the hug and cups her face) dekho papa abhi thik hai na? Right? (She nods) then? agar mein unse kahunga ki tum itna zyada ro rahi thi toh papa mera hi bat lekar mujhe dho daalenge ki meine tumhe chup nhi karaya 🤭

Preeta looks away with a small smile.

Karan - Chalo hospital chalte hai 😌

Preeta looks at him with a shock.

Preeta - Abhi? 🥺

Karan - Yes babydoll, mujhe papa se milna hai 😟

Preeta - Lekin.. 😧

Karan - Lekin vekin kuch nhi, hum dono jaa rahe hai aur sabko kal subah batayenge iske baarein mein ok?

Preeta nods with a sigh. Karan pulls her by her waist with his right hand, cups her side of face with left and placed a kiss on her forehead giving her butterflies. 🦋✨

She closes her eyes to feel it and Karan's lips lingered over there for few seconds.

Karan - Aage se tumhe kuch bhi bother kare, ya tumhe kuch share karna ho (looks in her eyes deeply) and I mean kuch bhi.. tum mujhse share karogi ok? 😇

Preeta nods as she was unable to speak seeing and sensing his care for her. Maybe it was more than that but both were unaware.

Karan - Let's go 😅

He stepped back and went out of room taking car keys leaving her in balcony. She touched her forehead where he placed a soft kiss and smiles. ✨

Preeta (in mind) - Karan kitna supportive, kitna understanding hai 🥺

She couldn't believe as for her he was a spoilt rich boy who loves his fans and fame but she is unaware that he is different, special and lovable.

She loved how he consoled her. She felt peace and cared.

Karan on the other side stood near the car waiting for her.

Karan (in mind) - Bajarbatti ko itna rote dekh mujhe itna bura kyu laga? itna dard kyu hua? I just couldn't see her cry 😟

He sighed and looks at her who was walking towards him. He opens the door for her and she sat inside the car followed by Karan. He silently drove to hospital.

Karan - Konsa floor hai?

Preeta - 5th floor, 502

He nods and both went towards lift. He punched the number 5 and tapped his foot on floor, crossing his arms. Preeta was rubbing her hands with a tensed face.

Doors opened and both stepped out to see Kartik sitting on nearby bench.

He looked up to see them.

Kartik - Hii (looks at Karan and then at Preeta) Karan tum yahan?

Karan - Yes.. tum yahan kya kar rahe ho? 🧐

Kartik - Raghuveer uncle ke saath aaj mein rehne wala hu (to Preeta) meine Sarla aunty aur Shrishti ko ghar bhej diya 😌

Preeta - Lekin tumne mujhe kyu nhi bataya mein yahan reh leti tumhe takleef.. 😟

Kartik - Raghuveer uncle mere bhi papa jaise hai.. my mentor.. unke liye ek raat nhi reh sakta yahan? 😟

Preeta nods in tears and held his hand.

Preeta - Thank you kartik 🥺

Kartik nods and Karan silently stood looking at them.

Karan - Tujhe kaise patah chala iss baarein mein?

Kartik - Jaise hi uncle ko admit kiya tab Preeta ne mujhe call karke bata diya tha 😅

Karan looks at Preeta and she looks at him.

Karan - Preeta tum.. mein puchhta nhi toh tum mujhe nhi batati? 😕

Preeta - Woh.. papa ne mana kiya tha batane se, agar Mahesh papa ko patah chalta toh woh pareshaan ho jaate isliye 😧

Karan nods while fisting his hands. He didn't liked the fact that she called her best friend in case of emergency and not her husband.

He wanted her to share her problems with him. He didn't knew why he wanted it but yeah.

Karan left them alone and went inside the room. He looked at Raghuveer who was sleeping with tubes attached to his hand.

He walked towards him and sat on nearby stool. His eyes wandered around the room.
