It has been exactly two weeks that Taylor has told me who Bailey was and how she was to he and Lan and it has been two weeks that I have seen Lan , Zain told me he was very busy in the office,   so I decided to see him I've made some food for his lunch I packed it up in a mini food box and got the keys and rushed out I drove to Lans office gently and got down when I arrived at the office and a bellboy took my keys how fancy I thought looking up to the multiple floors of the office I saw Zain at the reception talking to a staff his face lit up as he saw me "Moira how have you been doing ."he asked with a smile I smiled back and said
"I've been doing good Zain I just decided to bring Lan lunch and I made extra for you too." I said winking he just smiled
" Let me take you to his office." Zains hands  placing his hands on my back gently giving me a gentle push forward we took the elevator and when it dinged and showed 20th floor Zain motioned for me to come out of the elevator we walked down a small hall well carpeted with red lush looking rugs I felt inferior due to my outfit when I saw the workers wearing expensive dresses and the latest Louie Vouiton heels I felt inferior I was wearing an oversized grey cropped sweater and a short brown leather skirt and my white vans holding a food bag we got to a brown door with a golden slate 'Lander Sanchester' was written boldly on it Zain entered without knocking and i followed quickly to see a very tired looking Lan gosh he looked so tired and stressed
"Lan oh my God you look so dead ." I said gasping and rushing towards him he looked up and gave a weak smile "Have you even had proper feeding dear Lord if your mother sees you like this she'll think I'm starving you." I cried out the moron and his brother just laughed
" Calm down Moira I'm fine I'm just very very very busy sorry I could not text or call you at all." He said his eyes apologetic and still they looked so stressed
"Yeah and you are such a fool for leaving me at that house alone for two weeks so noww move all this papers off the table you Zain come over here time to eat ." The two of them just laughed and Zain made his way to the chair in front of Lan's mahogany table and helped Lan move all the papers
"So how far are we on Mr.Luther's orders Lan ." Zain asked as i dished some fried rice into his plate
"Uhm I think ....." Lan was about to answer
"Hey no talking about lunch while eating ." I said moving my index finger to indicate a no
"You're so sexy when you're bossy ." Lan said smirking I just stuck out my tongue at him and dished his own food
"Gosh this is so goodddd." Zain said moaning I just giggled Lan just had a huge grin on his face while he ate . I was scrolling through my Instagram feed while the boys were eating and talking about some irrelevant things .Then I looked up to and noticed Lan looking at me I just blushed at his hot gaze on me.
"Okay I'm done thanks Moira for the amazing lunch I can't remember the last time I had a properly home cooked meal."Zain said smiling
"You're welcome Zain ." I said grinning like a little kid as I packed the used plates gently into the waiting bag . Zain left and Lan was siping his Hennessy slowly from the glass looking at me I felt like telling him I know about Bailey already that he had nothing to worry about that I trust him but the person I don't trust is Aria but I held my tongue
"I'm leaving Lan ." I said holding the bag closely to my waist
"Already ??"He whined like a little kid
"Yupp I have to go and you seem pretty busy and ......." My breathing hitched as he circled his hands on my waist from behind I was already leaving but he had to do this ......
"Stay a little more Moira ." He whispered in my ear almost immediately while we were making our dear moment Kate walls in obviously shocked at our intimate position I just elbowed Lan and moved aside as he freed me reluctantly
"Uh...uhm Sir we are having a meeting with The Board in five minutes ." Kate said professionally then ending with a smile directed at me I smiled back
"Okay Kate noted see you in five ." He said casually I turned to leave quickly before he stopped me again grabbing my hand ,spinning me around and pulling me to him
"Join me for my meeting then after that you can go home ." He said in my ear quietly
"What ?! Why I'm  not even fit to be here look at me Lan I'm not ready to be looked at judgmentally. "  I said shyly he just looked at me amused
"You are by far the prettiest girl in this office by far and I'm not taking no for an answer you are joining me for my meeting in now two minutes c'mon let's go I don't wanna be late ." He said and I blushed hopelessly and nodded What is he doing to me I thought as we walked out of his office we took the elevator and we went up to the 25th floor woaw this building is way far the biggest I've ever been to we entered into a room that looked like a meeting room I saw my dad sitted there in a black suit and a black dress shirt
"Daddy!" I said and waved
"Hey Princess you look beautiful ." My Dad said smiling at me all the men there exchanged silent greetings like casual nods or firm handshakes . I sat beside Lan and thirty minutes into the meeting I got boreddddd so I brought out my phone and started playing my candy crush
" Hey Miss no phones during meetings ." One of the men in black with a large nose and the biggest pot belly said with a scowl I just rolled my eyes and continued my game
'Sorry bout that' Lan whispered in my ears I just smiled and dropped my phone and actually listened after the meeting I came to a conclusion that I hated meetings there were no smiles exchanged no jokes thrown all of them just frowned including my dad . I just wanted to laugh at their MIB theme all of them looked like agents from the men in black. Lan and I walked out of the meeting room hand in hand .
"Are you coming home today or you have work to do? " I asked sheepishly
"I think I'll come home today because you want me home so bad ." He said smirking
"So full of himself ." I murmured rolling my eyes  I liked the new Lan jovial and cool not cold and annoying but I had to fuck it fuck up his mood
"How is Taylor isn't he meant to be at such meetings ." He froze and his  eyes masked with hurt
"Uhm he's over with his family members for a month. They have some occasion." He said and turned his eyes like he is feeling guilty oh I knew why he was like this but it won't be proper to say anything he'll just think I'm some desperate fan who would go to any length to know about his past to get back at hi for some unknown reasons......................
