Randhir averted his gaze toward her and noticed her from the corner of his eyes. Sanyukta's eyes met with him but instantly looked down feeling shy. Suddenly a boy and a girl come to them and dragged them to the dance floor. They both pushed them and both collide with each other. He held her waist and she looked down avoiding his gaze.

Pehla nasha, pehla khumaar

Naya pyaar hai, naya intezaar

(They started moving with rhythm while she hasn't dared to look in his eyes.)

Everyone clapped for them and she hides her face in his chest blushing profusely.

Randhir entered his room and locked the door. He saw her standing near the window and took slow steps toward her.

"Sanyukta..." He called her.

She flinch bit hearing his voice and looked at him nervously.

"Go and change yourself in comfortable clothes." He said with concern.

She nodded her head and moved toward the closet.

"Sanyukta, wait." He again called her.

She stopped in her place and clutched her heavy lehenga.

"You look beautiful in bridal attire." He said with a small smile and patted her cheek.

"Thank you." She mumbled and ran inside the closet.

She took her nightdress and went to the bathroom while he changed his clothes in the closet once she left from there. After half hour she comes out of the bathroom and saw him lying on the bed. She put jewelry on the dressing table and makes her hair then went to bed. She lay beside him pulling the blanket.

"Good night, Sanyukta." He said turning his face to her and grabbed her hand.

"Good night." She mumbled audibly to him as he entwined their fingers.

She closed her eyes feeling shy and soon sleep overtook her sense. He wants to pull her closer and hugs her but he doesn't want to make her feel uncofortable. He went closer to her face and kissed her forehead then laid on his side. 

Randhir and Sanyukta had purely arranged marriage. In a short period of time, they got bound by marriage so they didn't get time to interact with each other. Randhir being a businessman; was always busy with work and Sanyu was a medical student. He just came to India for a wedding with his parents. His mother was a good friend of Anju Agrawal and she admired Sanyukta a lot when she met her first time. Sanyukta first hesitated to marry Randhir but later Renuka assured her that his son will take good care of her. Even she told her that she can continue her study after marriage. Sandhir never talked with each other before the wedding. Randhir arrived Jaipur from New York just a day before their wedding on the day of their music ceremony where he saw her first time. Renuka and Harsh were aware of their workaholic son but they trust him. Randhir was always an obedient child from childhood and he knew whatever his parents do was always good for him.

Next day

Sanyu's sleep disturbs by sunrays and she sat on the bed rubbing her eyes. She felt heaviness on her both hands and saw Chuda. It takes a minute to realize that she is married now. She glanced at his side and found it empty. She saw one yellow color chit and pick up it.

Good Morning. Going for Jog. See you at the breakfast table.

Her lips curved in a smile and caressed his beautiful handwriting. She got down from the bed and went inside the bathroom taking her clothes. After an hour she come out of the bathroom and saw him entering the room. He locked the door and his eyes fell on his beautiful wife who was looking breathtaking in a simple red color sari while her chuda(Bangles) was adding more charm to her.

"Good morning, Sanyukta." He said moving toward her.

"Uh.. Good morning." She replied turning toward the dressing table.

Her breath hitched feeling his hand on her back and closed her eyes. He slowly aside her wet hair and tied the knot of her blouse.

"Done." He said looking at her through the mirror then slowly wrapped his hand around her waist.

"Ra.. Randhir, what... wa.. what are you doing?" She asked as a red hue appeared on her cheeks.

"Romancing with my a few hours old wife." He replied kissing her neck and she closed her eyes in unknown pleasure.

He stopped his sweet assault and went inside the bathroom.

She covered her face with her palm feeling extremely shy with his action. She doesn't know how to react or how to thank him for helping her. She thought something and went inside the closet and come with his clothes. She put them on the bed and writes one chit for him then left from there with a shy smile.

After half hour he come out wrapping a towel around his waist and didn't find her in the room. He was about to walk toward the closet but his eyes fell on the bed where she kept clothes for him. He went to bed and smile bright seeing her choice for him. He picked up a chit and read it.

In the hall

Sanyu glanced at the stairs as her eyes were waiting for him.

"Intehaan... ho gayi.. Mere bhai ki, Aaye na kuch khabar... Mere bhai ki..." Her sister-in-law Raima sung in teasing tone.

Sanyu blushed looking away from the stairs.

"Raima, stop it. Don't tease her." Renuka said scolding her and embrace Sanyu.

She showed her tongue and Harsh lightly slapped her head. Meanwhile, Randhir comes down talking over the phone and she saw him. He cut the call and looked at her.

"How am I looking?" He asked through his eyes.

She nodded her head with a small smile and looked down in shyness. He went there and sat beside her greeting everyone.

"Bhai, where are you going on your honeymoon?" Raima asked excitingly.

Sanyu chocked coffee and Randhir rubbed her back giving water to her.

"You okay Sanyu?" Harsh asked worriedly.

She nodded her head positively and Randhir glared at Raima.

"Not decide yet. Sanyukta has missed her college because of the wedding so I don't want her to miss more classes." Randhir said drinking coffee.

"Randhir is right. Even I talked with Kishor about Sanyukta's transfer. She will continue her study in New York." Harsh said with a smile.

"You know Harsh this Halwa(Indian Sweet) is made by Sanyu," Renuka said serving halwa to everyone.

"Wowww bhabhi... it's so yummy." Raima said chewing it.

"Yes, Sanyu. It's so tasty." Renuka too complimented her.

Harsh too gave her a compliment by giving nek(Blessing with a gift) to her but she was eagerly waiting for his compliment which never comes because he left from there talking over the phone.

"Don't be sad Sanyu. Randhir is very workaholic but soon he will learn to give compliments." Renuka said caressing her hair.

"Thank you, Mom." Sanyu said hugging her.

Sanyu was still sad but she couldn't show her sadness to her sweet and caring in-laws.

In the evening, Randhir and Sanyukta packed their stuff and were all set to fly off New York. All thanks to his work. He got a call from his personal assistant and told him to come as soon as possible because there was some problem with his recent project. Renuka and Harsh were also got ready to drop Raima London as she was studying there then they'll return after spending some time there.

Few hours of the journey they reached New York. They come out of the plane and Sanyu saw the number of black cars there.

"Josh, take my wife home. Give her a safe journey." He said to the driver.

He turned toward Sanyukta who was looking very disappointed because of his workaholic behavior. He can clearly saw sadness on her face and disinterest in other things.

"Take care. I'll be home after one meeting." He said making her sit inside the car.

She just turns her face other side avoiding contact with him and he closed the door with a small smile. He had already think how to make up his wife.

She got out of the car and her luggage was carried inside by servants. She roamed her eyes on the house which was more looking like a mansion. It was a modern house which she can tell by the outside interior. There were a few guards who were taking care of the house. 

"Madam, please come." A servant said breaking her trance.

She looked at him and nodded her head.

She spends half a day arranging her clothes in the closet and then took some rest. She talked with her mother and mother-in-law still she was feeling alone here. She was very upset by his workaholic behavior but also he have a huge business to handle. It doesn't mean he can't give a little time to his wife.

At evening

He entered the mansion and went to his room. He didn't found her there and changed his clothes. He went to the kitchen but didn't find her there and moved toward the poolside. He saw her sitting on the edge of the pool dipping her legs in the water and watching the sunset.

"Sanyukta, you'll catch a cold. Let's go inside." He said forwarding his hand.

She didn't hold his hand and got up herself. She started walking but due to wet legs, she slipped and fell on the floor before he could reach her.

"Aaahhh..." She cried in pain as her ankle hurts.

He ran to her and sat on his knees.

"Shitt... Sanyukta are you okay?" He asked with concern.

"My ankle... aaahhhh. It's paining." She cried holding her ankle.

"Wait let me help you," he said taking her in his arms hitching her breath.

For a moment she forgot her pain because of his action and a red hue appeared on her cheeks. He placed her on the bed and wiped her legs with a towel.

"I'm fine." She said holding her ankle.

"Shut up and let me do my work." He said scolding her little and applied balm on her ankle.

His hands were moving carefully on her ankle and she was feeling good as her pain was getting less than before. He got up from bed and went to the closet then come back with a bag.

"I've got something for you." He said taking out two gift boxes from the bag and handed her.

"What is it?" She asked confusingly.

"Just open it." He said taking the small box from her hand.

She opens the big box and her eyes went widens seeing Rose gold diamond pendant with matching earrings.

"I want you to make halwa once again for me. It was actually delicious." He said holding her hands and kissed her palms.

She couldn't ask for more except her husband's compliment and she got it. She had never imagined that he would compliment her like this giving her a gift.

"You can wear it whenever you want." He said taking the box and put on the nightstand.

"There is no need of it." She said crying a little.

"I've got only one wife. How can I hurt her?" He said wiping her tears.

"Thank you. It's very beautiful." She mouthed sweetly.

"Later because I've another gift for you." He said opening a small box.

Her eyes popped out in the socket seeing Rose gold crown ring with diamond in middle and looked at him shockingly. He chuckled at her antics and held her hand.

"It's a wedding gift from my side." He said sliding the ring in her ring finger and kissed her palm.

"Randhir... this is... I mean... it's too much." Sanyu said not knowing what to speak.

"Nothing is much Sanyukta. Whatever I earn it's for my family and from now you're also part of this family. I promised mom that I'll always take care of you and never hurt you. Before marriage, my first priority was always to work but now I'm trying to change my priorities. I want to make my first priority YOU not work." He said stressing word you.

"Randhir..." She sobbed little hearing his words.

"Wait... did I just missed hearing my name from your mouth?" He asked changing the topic.

She instantly looked at him and a red hue appeared on her both cheeks. She covered her face with her palm and he laughed at her antics.

"You're cute." He said holding her hands and removed from her face.

He slowly cupped her face and kissed her lips softly. He savored her lips while she wasn't responding but her cheeks were heating up the way he was playing with her lips. He kissed her with all emotion and broke it later. He rested his head on her and opens his eyes only to see her red cheeks. He kissed her forehead and hugs her thus giving rise to their relationship. They don't know what's love but one thing they knew is how it feels because they're feeling it right now.

A few days later

Randhir comes to his room and smiles seeing her all ready to go for college. She was looking beautiful in half sleeve lace floral print knee-length dress.

"Sanyukta, all set to go to college?" He asked her.

"Yes." She smiled at him.

"And you're looking beautiful." He said caressing her right cheek.

"Thank you." She replied with a shy smile.

She handed him the box which he gave her a few days back and he smiled. He took out the pendant and makes her wear it.

"It's looking beautiful on you." He said hugging her from the back and kissed her neck.

"Thank you," She said shyly and he laughed a little.

"Okay, then today I'll drop you at college, and then the driver will ride you." He said wearing his watch.

"There is no need of it, Randhir. I mean I don't want to trouble you. You just give me the car key. I'll go by myself." She said playing with her fingers.

"No. It's not India, Sanyukta. You don't have experience of driving here. First I'll teach you proper driving then you can go by yourself." Randhir said turning toward her.

"But..." She tried to speak but held her hand and dragged her outside of the mansion.

"No, but and if. You'll listen to me. I'm doing this for your safety. Trust me." He said walking out of the house.

He took her to the garage and pressed the red button. Her eyes popped out in the socket seeing the number of cars with different models.

"We've lots of cars so you can drive them but after I'll teach you. Now let's go. I don't want you to get late on the first day." He said taking her outside and closed the garage.

They settled in the car and he told guards to follow them. Soon they reached her college and he come out of the car n opens the door for her.

"Bye. Take care and call me if something happens." He said caressing her right cheek.

"Okay. Thank you." She said with a smile and he kissed her forehead n side hugs her.

She went inside the college and Randhir stood there watching her.

"Keep eyes on her. Just call me if something happens to her." Randhir said to the guards who he had hired for her security.

For him, her safety always comes first as he took a vow to protect her no matter what happens with him. They're not in love but they're trying to make work their relationship.
