His only family now laid lifeless on the cold hard marble, covered in a white sheet to probably avoid any kind of strokes the family members might get.

The attention of the police officer shifted towards Taehyung, who didn't bother to even blink after the sight he saw.

Everything, the golden, the shades of magenta, the splashing of freesia, the extravagant velvet scarlet sofa, the souvenir from Holland that laid on the table like usual, everything, from the nook to the corners of the color filled house, everything looked vaugly grey to him.

Everything had ended even before anyone could start, this could've been avoided if only-

If only he would have not been so cowardly, if only he would have arrived a little earlier everything could have been avoided, if-

It's the games of "if only", he thinks, he blames himself for everything, he lost everything, every little thing that was left for him in order to survive, in order to breathe the air he thought he deserved but internally he doesn't, he doesn't deserve any drop of air, it's his fault he says.

He fell on his knees, pale moonmilk skin skimmed through him, the vermillion seemed too pale, the palettes of colors looked so down, so sucked out of everything, he would love to end it all here as well.

Why to even live?

Whom to even live for?

Why to live even?

He asks himself questions that are never going to be answered for he doesn't have any. Cupping his cheeks, wiping the drops of tears that are wetting his enthrallingly warm skin, the goldenness of the skin illuminated in the little light, no one in this world can just stay still, be so lifeless seeing his parents- universe engulfed by the closing of reality like this.

But Taehyung on the other hand, was like this, of course the blues of tears fell, but his eyes were flowing with emptiness that employed through him, before any words could be formed he saw unfamiliar face bend down, so close to him.

"Are you Taehyung?" his voice sounded rusted, copper like skin covered him, enticing splash of  red was in him, he looks warm for Taehyung.

Taehyung doesn't answer, just nods his head to yes, the officer nods getting up motioning Taehyung to grab onto his hands. Following the motion he wraps his hands around his, pushing his body to stand up and walk.

Not letting go of the grip the officer sits on the scarlet sofa, that smelled like it had been dipped in harsh chemicals which wasn't much pleasing to Taehyung to say the least.

Taehyung unconsciously scrunched up his nose, the emptiness in his eyes still refusing to leave, he too sat beside the officer, grabbing onto a little tighter than before.

"Don't worry about the smell, it's the chemicals used to scrub off the bodily fluids, like blood and everything. Apart from the smell, I have important news to share with you despite being in situation like this. I apologise to you for this, but it's my duty. I hope you will understand." spoke his copper skimmed lips.

"It's okay for you to stay quiet but please nod to give me signs of your answer" he smiled again, happily exposing dimples that flowed under his cheeks.

"When we got to the scene, I will skip the details, but we were investigating the rooms and in one of the room" he paused pointing at the room his father used to breathe in, used to sleep, used to work. Used to. He reminds himself.

"Is that your mother's room?" he asked but Taehyung motioned it to be wrong.

"So it's your father's room." He nodded in silence staring vaugly at the other's eyes which looked equally spaced out like his.

"There was a note there." he began, shoving his hands on one of the many pockets, he took out a piece of paper which was in a Ziploc bag?

He didn't spoke, just handed him the bag. Taehyung carefully pulled the glued part apart and took the paper out which equally smelled like chemicals he's been smelling since he has arrived.

He opened the letter, gripping his hands onto the officer, slow tears swam through his horizon pupils, it was written by his father, it was for HIM! FOR TAEHYUNG!

It had been ages since he had seen his handwriting, it had been ages since he had shown any affection towards him, and now his father is affectionate but what use? He's already gone to even give a hug.

The note read :

This letter in particular is not so long, but a statement written by the father of Mr. Kim Taehyung. I would like to officially state that the business that I own along with my partners, all the shares now officially belong to my only son Mr. Kim Taehyung. All the alleged documents will be left on the drawer of this dresser so please go through it.

And as for the fact, if this is Taehyung reading this, we love you, your mom loves you and so do I. Please forgive me for this but this is necessary, i a selfishly, filthy human cannot deal with life so I am ending it. Okay I have to go now..

Farewell Taehyung. We love you.

Blue.

Grey.

The palettes filling with colors that don't hold any meaning in particular, in particular you ask? Well in particular what does he feel? What does he feel? What?

Oh how unfortunate, it should be how

How does he feel?

Wish he could answer, wish the poor boy had answers, wishes that are never going to be fulfilled. Maybe this was meant to be? He thinks, well maybe?

Tears? Where are they?

There weren't any. There weren't, remind yourself of that. The feeling of emptiness had reached it's alleged ending, the feeling he could barely describe, he describes it as undescribable.

It was too cold, too pale, too sad, too depressing or maybe, just maybe too rottening. Bother not ask he still reminds himself.

He just stared at the paper that were the only memory of his father that he is going to be hung up on. He is going to take care of this note, starting today.

He clutched the note in his palms, thought of good times he had spent with them, only memories last in him at this moment.

"The bodies are going to be taken in a minute or two. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience" mumbled the copper. And right after he had concluded himself, two workers dressed in formal nurse dresses came, moved the body to the stretcher and slowly moved it outside the room.

All Taehyung could ever do was to watch the sight, what could he possibly do? There was no use of clutching onto to the bodies for they have already gone, there is no use of anything he says. It's best to just stay silent.

"I'm leaving"

"Bye Kai" Taehyung spoke suddenly startling the officer, before the officer could think otherwise he left the grip of his hand and pointed at his badge that read his name.

Kai sighed in relief, stood up and left the apartment along with the doctor that was there examining the floor.

The doctor was unnoticed, but he had warm eyes, had given yet another note that read

If you feel depressed, or anything please go to a psychiatrist.

How sweet of him Taehyung thought, but the sweetness didn't last long as he was reminded of the reality once they left.

He walked up to the cabinets that filled with wine from 1800s, where his mother and father used to take drinks, he looked at the cabinet, picked three of the bottles, went up to the sofa and chugged it without much thought.

Drinking one with one hand and opening the other with the unused hand. He needs this.

His sins need holy water which being wine or maybe scotch or maybe even whiskey, who knows but the only thing known here is the alcohol.

The doors were closed, the windows were closed too, the curtains were drawn, the apartment was clean like never before but it was suffocating Taehyung, it was giving him short breaths, giving him the chemical scented breathes he would never want.

He stood up while placing the wine that he grabbed in his left hand on the table, spread the curtains to draw in more light, opened the windows, fresh orchard filled breeze passed through him making him a little lighter with its gentle touch, be opened the door and right beside it he saw a vinyl.

A vinyl that owned once by his dad that now belonged to him, he put the records on, it read "can't help falling by Elvis Presley"

He hasn't heard this song before, well once, just once he had heard this song when he was much younger, he remembered his father and mother dancing in this spacious apartment looking all fancy and stuff.

Talk about fancy, he was now the owner of the biggest share of the company, but no worries he assured himself, he is not going to worry because there is Mr. Aniketu, the manager of his father, he has probably done everything for him by now.

Although the records were on, he barely heard anything, so he looked for other records he could use instead, finally after some drunk minutes of blacking out he found another record that read "put your head on my shoulders"

As he was about to put the records, a loud knock echoed through the now pale house that was filled with nothing but grey. With the wine bottle still wrapped around his fingers he went towards the door while placing the bottle on the wood, twisted the knob only to reveal Jungkook standing there with worry filled pupils that stared at him with a flaming gorge of scarlet fire, red velvet flames emitted from the pupils providing him the warmth he needed for he was quite in blue.

Before Jungkook could open his mouth Taehyung wrapped his hands around his wrist, pulling him close. The younger's breath hitched with sudden contact but he kept his composure and stayed calm as possible although his lust filled heart was spilling everywhere.

The older closed the door, swiftly slides his tips underneath the butterfly valve skin, his waist so small the older could take a bite here, face streaked with caramelized pupils it fascinated the eyes of the older's, he was so alluringly gorgeous the older could look at him all day, all night or even his whole life but would never be tired of the sight he was witnessing.

Jungkook yet again tried to enterpret his words but was stopped by the warm lips that made contact with his, the honey warmness melting their lips, the cheeks skimmed with dripped chocolate, skin yet so bewitching it could be barely described in words, some time it's best to live in the moment and not try to describe, it's the feeling that matters.

Kissed each other with passion flowing in their arms, they separated their lips but a string of saliva was intact with it telling them to continue their making out session, without much thought they touched their lips again, again the melting process started making the lilacs to move, the freesia to blow, the daffodils to dance and the sunflower to giggle in colors.

Taehyung saw colors he was deprived of moments ago, now he realized the answers of his previously asked questions.

Why should he live?

He should live for him. If he would be gone now it's only going to hurt him, the dead may go but the effects are on the one who survives, the thought of leaving him made his heart tremble, his body ache unhealthily and his brain to stop functioning for a split second.

The kiss feeling so heaven touched, they separated and yet again Taehyung tried to kiss his coco but was stopped by fingers touching his lips to stop coming any close.

"Taehyung"

He didn't speak, what would he tell his coco? What? That his father first killed his mother and then killed himself, and now he is a multi millionaire?

Well the last part turned out to be good enough for Taehyung but the fact that both of his is gone what would he even tell?

But he cannot just close his lips and stay quiet, the truth has to come out either way, sooner or later Jungkook will find it out eventually.

"My parents are no more" he spoke with straight face while Jungkook's facial expression was blown away with the words his significant other just spoke.

"Wait- what?"

"Are you really making me repeat this?" He paused letting go of the grip, the younger just stood there, mind in shock, body feeling paralyzed due to fear?, Heart felt unlikely heavy but most of all the then flame streaked cheeks seemed too cold for him.

Taehyung walked up to the vinyl and played the song, the song now filled the grey apartment with it's warm lyrics that resonated the shimmers of gold for Taehyung to say the least.

Put your head on my shoulders
Hold me in your arms baby,

Squeeze me oh so tight
Show me that you love me too

The song was too romantic for Taehyung, probably the alcohol he consumed had already provided Jungkook with a stench of disappointment but he wouldn't mind, at least for now.

"How many glasses you had?" the younger asked eyeing at the one emptied bottle, the unopened one, and the half finished one that rested beside it.

"Glasses you say?"

"Yeah. How many Taehyung?" he growled being passively aggressive with him.

"Talk about it! I finished a whole bottle and now I'm going to finish two. You listen to song, we'll dance together!" he screeched with occasional rolling of the tongue.

The younger walked up to the unopened bottle grabbed it and tried putting it back but was stopped by hands reaching his torso.

"Where do you think you are going little coco?"

"To put these!! So you won't drink more"

He replied being undoubtedly protective towards his older, the older snatched the bottle from his hands, opened the cork with his bare hands again shoving the now opened wine to his younger.

"Drink" Taehyung ordered, the younger drank without much thought, he was a little scared, a little nervous and most of all he didn't want Taehyung to get sadder as he is already going through a lot.

"Can't finish it" he replied heavily breathing, facing the rim away from his face then he looked at Taehyung who looked at him with hopeful eyes, he had to do this. Just once. Just for him.

Yet again he chugged the wine, finished the whole bottle in one go, the scarlet wine spilling around his lips, the older got closer, tasted the wine that rested on his lips.

"So beautiful" he spoke giving a peck to the younger one last time before swaying his hips side to side in dancing motion.

Both danced drunk, both danced with joy, mostly both danced being drunk in love.

Both sure did love each other.

*Epilogue incoming*
