"After finishing your task for today, you may leave," I heard my professor said that.

I quickly put my things inside my bag when I finished answering the test. Agad akong tumayo at naglakad patungo sa desk niya.

"Are you done, Miss Adora?" She asked me using her strict tone.

I nodded my head, " Yes, Miss." I answered.

She didn't give me a glance after I put the test paper on the table. I turned my back and looked at my classmates that are still busy answering.

Naglakad na ako pabalik sa upuan ko at kinuha ang bag ko. Isinukbit ko iyon bago maglakad papalabas ng classroom. Tuloy-tuloy akong lumabas hanggang sa makaalis din ako sa building namin sa second floor.

I was on my way to the parking lot when my phone inside my bag beeped. Kinuha ko iyon at tinignan kong sino nag-text.

Dad:
Kindly drop at the mall to buy your sister's pads.

Kumunot ang noo ko sa text na iyon ng ama ko.

I typed a message.

Elle:
Yeah.

After typing, I pressed the send button and turned off my phone before I went inside. Pumasok ako sa kotse ko at pinaandar ko iyon paalis ng university.
