Katerina's POV

It's been a few days since I found out I was pregnant and I already look like I'm three months pregnant. I was scared about the safety of my baby, but Aro doesn't seemed to worried about it. But he told me he was having the best doctor come to look after me and my baby. I meet this lovely woman called Sulpicia and became good friends with her. She is always talking to my baby in a whisper so that I can't hear what she is saying. I haven't spoken to the baby yet, but Aro has.

I have been moved to a new room with medical supplies in it. Aro has been giving me a strange drink in a none see through cup and straw. I was unsure about having it at first, but the baby seems to love it. It is also one of the few things that I can keep done at the moment. But even though I can tell the baby is healthy. I feel so weak and have not been getting all the nutrition I need, because it all seems to go to the baby.

So I've called Sulpicia over to ask her something important while Aro was getting the doctor that had arrived last night. "Sulpicia, I think I am dying and I don't want to leave my child motherless. You're my best friend and I want you to help Aro raise my child if I die in child birth" I tell her.

"I promise to take good care of the child" she says giving me a hug. Just then Aro entered the room with a fair haired man with gold eyes. "I'll leave you to it, but I expect all the details later" Sulpicia tells me before leaving the room.

"Katerina this is Carlisle" Aro says as he sits beside me.

"Nice to meet you doctor" I say nodding my head.

"How do you feel Katerina?" he asks checking my pulse.

"Weak and tired" I tell him.

"That's normal, this is not the first time I've seen this type of pregnancy" he tells me. "Is she drinking?" he asks Aro who nods his head. "You should give birth in about a week" Carlisle tells me and I look at him shocked.

"But why is progressing so quickly?" I ask him.

"We don't know, like I told you this is only the second time I've seen this. The last one was in Washington and the mother didn't make it" he tells me sadly.

"And the baby?" I ask him.

"Perfectly healthy, fast growth rate, but is slowing down now that she has reached her teens in appearance" he explains.

"I don't care what happens to me as long as the baby survives" I tell him. "If you have to choice between the baby or I. Choose the baby" I tell Aro. "I couldn't live with myself if I lived and the baby died" I tell them.

"Of course Katerina" Aro assures me. "Is there anything else she'll need Carlisle?" he asks the doctor. Carlisle takes out a note book and reads it carefully before answering.

"Just plenty of rest, and her special drink every meal unless the baby craves it. I'd make sure she is watched twenty-four seven and alert me the minute she goes into labour. But I will be more then happy to come every meal time to make sure both her and the baby are ok. When she goes into labour she'll need a c-section or the baby will die before it is born" he explains.

"Whatever you deem necessary Carlisle" Aro tells him. "Now I must go attend to some business" he tells me.

"Can Carlisle stay? I want too ask him more about the other child like ours" I tell Aro.

"Of course, now get plenty of rest Katerina Demetri will be here in an hour with your drink" he tells me before leaving.

"What do you wish to know?" Carlisle asks sitting across from me.

"So she was healthy? The other baby?" I ask him.

"Completely healthy, and very beautiful child" he tells me. I smile at the thought of my baby being alive and healthy. "Have you thought of names?" he asks me.

"No I have not" I tell him and he looks at me confused. "I don't know how, but ever since I got here and found out I was pregnant with Aro's child. I've known I won't survive the birth and so I'm letting him choose the name. I already choose a new mother for my child for when I die" I explain.

"So you've given up hope of surviving to being able to raise your child?" he asks me.

"Not given up, just accepted that I was not meant to raise it. Besides I know Aro and Sulpicia will be amazing parents. I hope they get married and be able to give my child a real family. I'm not sure if I even love the child inside me" I tell him placing my hands on my stomach.

"Why do you say that?" he asks.

"I guess knowing it's birth will kill me, it's a natural instinct to want to live and not die. But I could never kill an innocent child" I tell him. Demetri appears with my drink and I take it gratefully thanking him. He then tells Carlisle Aro wants to see him so they leave. I finish my drink and feel tired, so I decide to sleep.
