Part 32:

"Yeah Akash is everything ok there? Did you meet Rahul?" asked Aman.

"Yeah Bhai... everything is fine here. I met Rahul but little different way" he said how Khushi introduced them to that Rahul, her trails to stay brave and last Rahul's different trails to meet and talk with Khushi. He also said how Khushi avoided Rahul.

"Wow... it is really good change in Khushi" said Anjali

"Yeah Di... It is indeed good thing. She said all these things happening with her are due to Bhai only. Thanks to Bhai... whatever he said she took it seriously and trying to be brave. And she said, she don't want to be a burden on us... silly girl"

Both Aman and Anjali looked at Arnav, who is staring at phone shockingly.

"I had talked with Khushi yesterday and today. She already told me all these, but I want to confirm with you that she is saying truth or she is hiding anything. But I'm wrong. She never will do that... Ok Akash... tomorrow afternoon we will reach there. If you need anything, give me a call" said Aman with a slight smile

"Yeah Aman Bhai... good night... good night Di"

"Good night..." both Anjali and Aman bid their bye and ended the call. They turned to Arnav with straight faces.

"What? I didn't mean it. She is reacting unnecessarily. Why will I say those things seriously? She is important to me. Don't look at me like that as I did some wrong" said Arnav.

"Yes, you did wrong" saying this both Anjali and Aman left for their rooms.

Arnav sat on his bed. When he called her yesterday, she didn't say anything to him. In fact, she said everything is fine and she didn't see Rahul in these two days. Then, how can Aman and Akash says that? He is feeling something wrong. He remembered Aman's words 'I had talked with Khushi yesterday and today. She already told me all these, but I want to confirm with you that she is saying truth or she is hiding anything. But I'm wrong. She never will do that...'

"Is she hiding all these from me? Did she take my words seriously? No... No... she can't. What if she takes seriously?" the thought itself made him fear. He immediately took out his mobile and called the particular person who is making him nervous. The call answered in few rings

"Hello" answered a sleepy voice

"Khushi... did I wake you up? Are you sleeping?"

Recognising his voice, Khushi sat up with a jerk and checked the screen. It showing 'Arnav Ji'

"Arnav Ji... Why did you call me this late? Is everything fine there? How is your father? Are you alright?" she get panicked.

He cursed himself for making Khushi tensed.

"Yeah... everything is fine... relax... Today I'm bit busy, that's why I couldn't call you. So, thought of calling you now. I want to ask you how are you doing and how was your day in college? Did Rahul do anything? I mean did he try to talk with you or do anything?"

After a small silence, he heard her saying "Everything is fine here Arnav Ji... I'm doing well in college. My training is also going good. And don't worry... I am managing well with Rahul. He didn't try anything these two days, after Akash Ji and NK Ji came here. You no need to worry. I am able to take care of myself. Ok Arnav Ji... I need to sleep now... sorry... but good night... bye"

Without giving any chance to him, she disconnected the call leaving shocked Arnav.

"Is she avoiding me? Did she take those words seriously, which I said yesterday? Hell with you Arnav Singh Raizada... what is the need to utter those words... what if she does not want to talk to you anymore? What if she maintains her distance with you? You are really a jerk..." thought Arnav. "I need to apologise her for my words. I cannot be like this. If I remain like this Khushi might not like me. I cannot take her hatred. I will try to ask her forgiveness. Any way Aman and Di will be there. If Khushi is not ready to talk with me, then I can take help from them. But I will make her talk with me. After reaching there, I will take care of that Rahul. I won't leave him' he thought before going to sleep.

"Devi Mayya... help me... I cannot do this. It is very difficult for me to avoid him. But I want to do... please help me. I don't want to be burden for him. I don't want to make him fell tensed or irritated... that is why I didn't tell him anything... I'm sorry Arnav Ji... Devi Mayya... help me and Arnav Ji..." praying this, Khushi went to sleep.

"KHUSHI... Why didn't you tell me all these happenings happened here? Are you trying to avoid me? Don't you know, if you want to avoid me, then you need to take permission from me? Who gave permission to you to avoid me? What the hell are you thinking about yourself? If I say, you need to take care of yourself and then you need to. But I never said you should avoid me or hide things from me?"

"But it is my life... I can do whatever I want. Who are you to ask me? I don't think, I should take permission from you... you don't have any right on me. So... so.... just stay away from me" she stammered. He noticed her eyes, which are ready to tear up. It is really unbearable to her to say those words to him. But she has to do this. "This is the last time you are interfering my life... I don't want you..." she could not complete her words.

"HOW DARE YOU??? HOW DARE YOU TO UTTER THOSE WORDS TO ME? I WONT SPARE YOU FOR THIS" he shouted and grabbed her hands forcefully.

She woke up suddenly while panting badly. She wiped the sweat beads on her forehead. She looked around to find Arnav. She is hell scared with Arnav's shouts. "Devi Mayya... ee tho sapna hai... agar ee sach hua tho? I don't know why this early morning dreams will turn into reality... help me Devi Mayya... I don't want to face him. I don't want him to shout at me. I hate this Lad Governor. NO... I can't... Argh... Khushi you are impossible. Can't you stay with one word" she went on blabbering like this while getting ready. She got ready and about to start to her college, but stopped hearing her mobile ringing. She thought it must be Akash or NK. But she found the call is from an unknown number.

"Hello"

"Ms. Khushi..."

"Yes who is this?"

"I'm assistant of Mr. Patel, your music director"

"Ji, Namaste... tell me, what made you call me?"

"Actually he asked me to inform you all, that evening training session reduced to two hours for today. Coz, he has some recording to attend at evening. So he arranged that one-hour training session in the morning. So he wants you all to come to college little early today. So, can you come?"

"Definitely... I will come there. Did you inform other students also? Are they coming?"

"Yeah... I already informed other students. They said they are coming. Some are left I will inform them now. So, don't forget to come early. You may miss a lot..."

"No, I will come. Thanks for informing" saying this she disconnected the call. After this call, she called Akash and NK to inform the change in her programme. But they didn't attend the calls. She tried again and again, but they didn't answer. So, she left the message to both the brothers saying about the morning training session. After that, she left for college.

Both Akash and NK received their family members at airport. Both Aman and Arnav's parents, NK and Lavanya are in one car, remaining four – Aman, Arnav, Akash and Anjali are in one car headed towards their home.

"Why are you here Akash? I said no need to come here. Then why did you come?" asked Arnav

"Bhai... I'm sorry. NK is hell bent to come here to see mom and dad. I tried my best to make him understand. But he never listened my words. When I said to not to come here, he is in verge of crying. I dint have any choice other than bringing him here, Bhai. I'm sorry."

"Leave it Akash... I can understand your situation. NK is mama's boy. Whenever he has chance, he wants to be with his mom. I don't know how he is managing here without mama and mami. So, no apologies. Tell me about Khushi. Is everything ok in college?" said Aman.

"Yeah... Aman everything is fine. Yesterday I talked with Khushi... she said everything is fine" said Arnav, to confirm Khushi is not avoiding him or not hiding anything from him.

"Akash... tell him, he doesn't need to think about my Choti."

Arnav and Akash shocked with Aman's response.

"What is it Aman Bhai? Why are you talking like this?"

"What else I should talk? How can he say, that everything is fine there?"

"She only told me that everything is fine there. And she also said, after Akash and NK reached there, that Rahul didn't come to her."

"What? Why did Khushi say that? Why did she lie to you?"

"What do you mean by why did she lie to me? Did something happen in college?" Arnav is now feeling tensed thinking, his doubts may come true.

"Akash... just leave him. He doesn't need to worry about others. He already told her to take care of herself. So, she can and she will. If not, I will be there for her to help her. You tell me what happened?"

Akash looked at Arnav and Aman sighing deeply. Later he told everything about Rahul's trails to talk with Khushi. And he also told how Rahul tried to meet her, but how he backed seeing Akash and NK. He also mentioned Khushi's trails to be strong and tension after talks with Rahul.

"Akash! Why didn't you answer my call when I called you?" said Arnav stopping Akash to talk about Khushi. He doesn't want to listen more about her hard trails. He really cursed himself for saying those words to her. And he also doesn't like the fact that except him everybody is helping Khushi. He also hate the truth that Khushi is avoiding him. He wants him to be the only person, who can, who will and who should take care of her – his Khushi... His Angel. 'She is mine. Only I have the right on her. Nobody has. I will take care of her. I CAN. If anybody tries to come between us, then I will make sure that person regret that. Rahul... I'm coming there. Wait for me... you will regret about your deeds.' His anger rose with the happenings and mere thought of Rahul. So he blurted his anger on Akash.

"Answer me damn it."

"Bhai... I didn't get any call"

"What do you mean?" barked Arnav.

"Yeah Bhai... I didn't get any call from you. If you don't believe me, check yourself" Akash removed his mobile. Before giving to Arnav, he noticed he got 5 missed calls and one message. He gulped hard thinking it might be from his angry brother. He looked at Aman and checked the call log. He is little bit surprised to see 5 missed calls from Khushi. He immediately checked the message to know it is also from Khushi. He read the message aloud

"Akash Ji... I tried to call you and NK. But you didn't lift the call. I think you two are busy. Don't be tensed. I'm fine. I just want to inform you that, today I have to leave early for college. They changed today's training timings. Today morning one hour and evening two hours is the training. So, I'm leaving for college. You can come leisurely. No need to hurry. I will take care... sorry for troubling you. Bye... Have a nice day

Khushi"

He looked at Aman with tensed eyes after reading the message.

"Where were you when Khushi called you?" asked Aman.

"I'm at airport Aman Bhai... my phone was in silent mode. That's why I couldn't answer her calls."

"Hmm..."

"Yeh Choti... why didn't she answering the call" said Anjali.

All the three men looked at Anjali, who is having fear in her eyes. May be for everyone Khushi is just Khushi. But, not for Anjali. She strongly believes that Khushi is Aman's Choti. She knew how Choti is important in Aman's life. Every day she is asking god to make Khushi as Aman's Choti.

"Relax Anjali... maybe she is in training. That's why she is not attending the call. It's still 7.30 in the morning," saying this, something hit in Aman's mind.

"Drive us to the college" he ordered the driver. By nodding his head, driver turns the car towards the college.

She directly went to the auditorium to see nobody there. She little bit surprised to the empty auditorium. A small fear crept in her heart. She immediately got out from the auditorium. She sat in the garden, waiting for her co students. Suddenly chill ran through her spine, when she saw Rahul and his friends at the gate. She felt negative vibes around her as warning – something bad is going to be happen. She kept praying for her god. She pretended as she didn't notice Rahul at all and succeeded to make him believe.

"Hi Khushi... Good morning."

She noticed her tension and her fear growing inside her. But she took care to not show in her face.

She smiled a little and wished "Good Morning"

"You also received the call from the assistant?" Rahul asked as he is little surprised

"What do you mean by 'you also'? I'm also in training. Then if they call everybody, they surely will call me, right?"

He smiled at her and went to canteen. She knows he is up to something. Her sixth sense is warning her to be careful. She couldn't understand her sixth sense, why it's warning her. For diverting her mind, she called Payal and told her about her early visit to college. They both talked for some time. Payal asked Khushi to stay safe and also she said she will reach there as early as she can. After ending the call, Khushi saw some students going towards auditorium. She thought they are also trainees. So, she also went inside.

When she is entering the auditorium through corridor, she felt someone hold her hand. Before she notices that person, one strong hand covers her eyes and mouth with their large hand. She struggled to get rid of that hold. But she can't do that as the hold is very strong for her. She was dragged into one of the dark rooms, which were not in use.

She was breathing heavily to relax her tension. The person brought her into that dark room and left her with a jerk. She trembled a little with the jerk and made herself stand straight. She looked at the person, who brought her here. She can see that person little with the small light coming from the closed window of the room. She couldn't identify that person. But when she heard the voice, she felt a shiver ran through her spine.

"Yes, she is here. You can come and do whatever you want. But before that, give me my payment and release me. I can't stay here more. You better come."

"You... you are the assistant!!??" she don't know whether she asked him or she said to herself.

"What? Do you still think I'm the assistant? Oh girl... change your mind... you shouldn't be this innocent. This world is really dangerous out. If you stay this innocent, nobody can save you. Trust me... it will be difficult for you to fight for yourself. Either you should be strong or you should have someone who is strong enough to fight for you. And remember, don't trust anyone." He doesn't know why he is saying all these to her. But, he felt like saying. Somewhere her innocence affected him.

"If you are this much concern about me, then why did you bring me here? And who said you to bring me here?"

"It's my profession and you will know yourself about the man" before he say more words, they heard someone's footsteps. By hearing those he said "Here he comes. I'm leaving now. Take care"

"Please don't leave me here. Stay here" she don't know why she pleaded him. But her pleads went into vain. He left and met the person at the door to take his payment. She heard their talks but couldn't understand what they are saying, because of their low voices.

"Khushi...!!! Khushi..."

"Bhai what happened? Why are you shouting like this?" asked Akash."

"She is in trouble. I know she needs us... stop the car... I said STOP THE CAR" he barked on driver, who immediately stopped the car hearing anger in Arnav's voice. Arnav got down the car and went to driver's side. He almost pushed the driver to other side and started driving the car in full speed. He didn't even give to others to understand what's going on. It took half an hour to reach the college. He jumped from the car, not bothering to turnoff the engine. Of course, the driver took care of that. When Arnav ran into college along with the trio, someone collided with him very hardly. He fell back on the floor along with the person. When he saw the person, he felt like he lost his world. Aman, Akash and Anjali heard Arnav's voice. Everyone froze in their places after seeing the sight in front of them.

"KHUSHI!!!" all shouted together.
