My own break between book 1 & book 2 took a bit longer than I had planned, but at last it's over. A few days ago, I started writing the first chapter—a prologue—of Book 2 "Tattered Banners." Most probably, we will have that prologue posted next Friday.

The sequel starts right after the events of Army of the Cursed. While it has been decided that the royal Bermanian carrack is headed to Barlus, some of the passengers have plans other than seeking refuge in the Frozen Forest. But after losing most of their mages and all of their mutated soldiers, what are the survivors' chances to stand against the Cursed?
