Shriveling Sakura

This war has been going on for about two months now, not exactly counting the few days of July, where it started. And the Hetalians are lagging behind. Earlier in the war, the countries had supplied them with their regular armies to back them up when things got sticky. Of course, they asked for help when needed. Just some groups were more stubborn than others. Citizens were supplying the mysterious people with food and medical equipment. They try to ofter guns and sharp blades but they decline, using blunted objects. The Hetalians using katanas and swords weren't even sharp. In fact, they were more like weighted props. They never killed anyone, they just knocked them out, notify the army, and have them brought to their area's Center. The Center is a building much like Azkaban from Harry Potter.

"They're 2p Hetalians," Amelia had previously mentioned before her demise, "we should capture them and...see what we can make outta them."

"What do we do with them once the war is over?" Alice had asked her when a few of the capital-bearing generals, the Hetalian FACE family, basically, had their little tact meeting.

"...I dunno," Amelia cocked her head to the side playfully, scratching the back of her neck.

Alice always found Amelia thinking up ideas and presenting them incomplete. They're dreams that seem like an impossible answer but miraculously sometimes work.

"I'm American! Dreams are our specialty!" Amelia had said, "Sometimes they're all we have."

Ever since Amelia's disappearance, older Hetalians are being more precautious about their younger friends and brothers/sisters-in-arms. Younger Hetalians, even younger than Amelia, were expected to stay out, but if they can do something, they can contact the older Hetalians like they usually do. Most of the smaller, more capable, ones, are able to sneak over to some camping 2p Hetalians and are able to notify when the next attacks or bombings are. After all, the school's gonna be out for a while.

Especially in Japan.

A Few Days Ago...

"Hm?" General Central Japan, Sakura, quickly turned her head at the sound of a small beeping tone. Then shaking her head, realizing her com just has a call, "Moshi, Moshi."

"Is this General Central Japan?" a familiar English voice filled her ears.

Sakura's face crosses with nervousness, "Hai, you must be America-san. Nihon-sama said you would be calling about...something."

"Yeah, I'm coming to Japan's place for a little while," America said bluntly.

A little squeak pops out of her mouth, which she instantly covers, "H-Here?" she whispered, "America-san, the attacks are quite frequent and I heard you were heavily injured."

"Yeah? But Japan showed up at the meeting just fine, so I think you guys have some wicked great protection. Don't worry about me, I'll just come and leave," America shut off his com right after he says this.

"Sakura-chan? Are you alright? You look a little...pale," Japan enters the office, seeing Sakura's face.

"Um, Nihon-sama, America-san is coming over," she bowed her head, "He just called about it."

Japan nodded, swallowing his nerves. America said something about wanting to call about something after the meeting and he can bet why. The man that they figured out was behind this and the man that they're after.

But the leader's name sounds like...I dunno, I can't remember, but for some reason...it reminds me of...stars.

Hoshizora. His name is Hoshizora.

They're after Himeyura Hidekaz.

Hoshizora. Hoshizora is Japanese for 'starry'. Himeyura Hidekaz is a Japanese name, also. All these clues point to Japan and he has a deep fear that he's harboring the 2p Hetalian HQ or something. The root cause of this entire war. If that was the case, why didn't his Hetalians find anything about this? His country has a very large population of Hetalians, after all.

He had gone ahead and searched his censuses for a Himeyura Hidekaz. There was just one, but when they checked, he wasn't anywhere from his files. But now they had a picture, which he and Sakura forwarded to all the countries and Hetalian generals. They didn't openly campaign about looking for a Himeyura Hidekaz, lest they scream to the 2p Hetalians on wanted posters.

So there, Japan and Sakura wait for their anxious American ally.

Today...

"Sorry, I took longer," America appropriately bowed his head to both Japan and Sakura, which was something neither was expecting, "I had to take some precautions since I'm...missing a general and needed to have some Hetalians flank around me."

Japan ushered him inside. The Japanese Hetalians instantly recognized America and bowed respectively to both him and their country. America gave them all a nod, shifting to pull his shirt together without hurting his bandaged torso.

Once inside Japan's office, Japan sat at his desk, with Sakura and America sitting across him in separate chairs.

Japan starts, "So, I am supposing this is about Himeyura Hidekaz and Hoshizora," he had all his research files on them from earlier. Some on Himeyura, none on Hoshizora, though, except what his name means in English and that he's the 2p of Himeyura.

"Yes," America nods nervously. Japan hands America the files on Himeyura and he looks at them vigorously. His brow creases when he reads that the search was a fail, "He's probably not in your landform anymore, is he," he murmured, "Like he doesn't want to be found."

"Maybe this man does know something about his fandom," Japan suggested.

"Or somebody told him," America said gravely.

Both Japan and Sakura shudder at his serious tone, "I-I don't think," Japan swallowed, "that somebody could've told him. Didn't Lithuania-san say that the Hetalians didn't know where he was and didn't receive any message from him for the past year?"

"Yeah," America nodded, "but we don't know if that's all the Hetalians. According to Amelia's book, there's about 13 million of them and one of the majorities are in your house. If anything, some Hetalians might've known where he is and might've gotten word to Himeyura."

"But didn't we recently figure out that they're after him?" Japan countered reasonably.

"We recently figured out," America pointed out, "The Hetalians probably know him and the situation better than we do."

Japan didn't know what to say. He glanced over at Sakura, silently begging for help, only to see that she was avidly trying to avoid his gaze. She looked so guilty. For what reason?

"Sakura-chan?" Japan called out for the second time today, "Are you alright?"

She didn't say anything. Instead, she looked like she was about to cry.

America noticed this right away, "H-Hey! Don't cry-! Y'know, you don't have to sit and listen through this!"

Japan, on the other hand, stared at his central general in shock. She met his gaze momentarily, her muddled brown eyes speaking her secret for her. Japan slowly grabbed America by the shoulder when he reached out to comfort her, "Sakura-chan," he said quietly, "would you please tell us where Himeyura-san is."
